These are the same model of Hi-8 cassette tapes that ‘The Basement Tapes’ and ‘Zero Day’ were recorded onto.

While in the movie, ‘Zero Day,’ it is mostly filmed digitally though still on a Sony camcorder, the characters in - movie, Cal and Andre claim that they are recording on a series of tapes which are shown. This is what those tapes would look like up close for anyone curious who’s never seen such before.

These are compatible with my ‘98 Sony Handy-cam. Enjoy!! (: they’re convenient and come in their own cases for safekeeping, see below.
