ALF News!
So today, it was announced that this Saturday (July 29), an ALF marathon will be running on Ryan Reynold's Maximum Effort channel.
But...There's more.
There will be commercials inserted into the marathon which are called "Maximum Moments", and it features new footage of ALF and his new caretaker, Eric (Tanner?). The commercials are basically like a modern reboot of the ALF sitcom, and they're pretty good.
Link for the commercials: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqjUxGb3DkQ
An article from Collider reporting about the commercials: https://collider.com/alf-maximum-effort-channel/
I'm pretty excited for this. In the article above, Reynolds says something about "Bringing ALF back to life". Can't wait to see if they do anything else with the franchise and the character!
P.S.
In one of the commercials, Eric says that Gordon is over 300 years old. Canonically, Gordon was born on October 28, 1756, which makes him 266. Why do I care about the correctness of this commercial? I have no idea. But please, Paul Fusco, Ryan Reynolds, Shout Factory TV, if you're planning on rebooting this sitcom, get his age correct. It kinda bothers me that its not correct, so I just wanted to put it out there.

The Gang's Kids, as Tots.
Almost an angel:
Hannah Kelso: Like her mom, she's well-mannered (other than her Cheerio throwing phase). But she can be fussy and whiny, like her dad.
Normal:
Ashley Tate: Can be clingy and throw tantrums, but she gets along with others easily (like her mom Rhonda).
Adrian Forman: He's quiet and rarely makes a fuss, but he really struggles to be social. He can be standoffish to people he doesn't like.
Becca Hyde: Is generally well behaved. She's shy, but she can occasionally rebel. She adjusts well to her new little brother, though she pinches his nose to make him cry sometimes (mainly, to get attention).
Betsy Kelso: Is smart and savvy, and occasionally schemes. She's stubborn too, but is generally a good kid.
Kind of troublesome:
Kate Forman: She's very willful like her mom, but as a goody two shoes, she doesn't really cause all that much trouble. Her issue is that, before she starts school, she has nowhere to channel her energy and emerging perfectionism. She wants to be entertained constantly, and it can be a bit overwhelming. She's also smarter than most, and that can be offputting to her peers. But she's generally friendly, and likes reading to other kids.
James Hyde: Like his mom, he's a manipulative, loud blurter. Like his dad, he rebels for attention. He's energetic and ambitious, and can be overwhelming to many of his peers. Minus Leah, who takes his energy and ambition as a welcome challenge. They're both smart cookies, and playfully compete with each other constantly.
Little Hellion:
Hallie Rivera: She has terrible tantrums, is highly destructive, and has trouble expressing how she feels. She can be offputting to many of her peers, and they see her as downright intimidating.
Leah Forman: Willful. Manipulative. Fiercely independent. She does what she wants, simply. She knows how to listen, but why listen when she can play everyone around her like a fiddle? She lashes out for attention (typically, when her sister Kate is out there being perfect), and is genuinely socially awkward (like her dad). But she's nowhere near as clingy. Give her a book or Jamie, and she'll be fine. Maybe.
