 I was trying to play with light and shadow a bit more than I usually do and decided to go for a more monochromatic palette to do it. I am not sure I really got the depth I was looking for but I tried.

Detective Raymond Carter - Mekhet I did this for my fiance because I wasn’t happy with my first go of his character. I also did this in greyscale and added colour on it because I wanted to try it again. I am still not sure about the technique (or my lack of to be honest)

Violetta Ashton Talbot - an experimental piece for my newest OC obsession in my Unhallowed Metropolis game. My first no line art picture. This was an interesting experiment because I hate using my line art so I decided to just not to use it in the final piece for this. I think it really helped make me think about shapes and shading.
