Hi! So while scrolling through your AU i rememberd the "Alice Madnes Returns" game, and, you know. I got curious about how would your champions act with reader with Alice experiences.

Let me tell you what she had gone through(worry not, there's no spoilers):

When she was 7 her family home got set on fire, and burned down with her family inside. Alice the sole survivor, if you don't count the cat(name Dinah), which woke Alice up allowing her a chance of escape. Unfortunately she still ended up with severe burns and shattered mental state, hallucinations, after recovering from the burns she was mostly catatonic(stopped by occasional outbursts of agression when someone messed with het doll rabbit(the only thing that survived the fire) or abused her), she was like that for 8 years, the she spent 2 years phasing in and out of the Wonderland(she created it in her mind when she was little as her safe space to play and explore as she didn't have much peers to play with, now her way of exploring her shattered psyche as well as a coping mechanism). And after recovering from the burns got send to a mental assylum, she got out of there at 17. And considering that it was in England 1856, one can assume a lot of the things that happened there.

So what would happen if reader had to go through such things?

Now, i know that the championl not allow them to be sent to a mental assylum, or would break them out the first moment they felt that someting bad is happening there to reader.

I know that it's a small chance, but for the sake of it, let's say that champions didn't found reader yet at time of the fire. How would they deal with reader when they got reader after it?

Aight so heads up: Since I never played the game and only ever saw pictures of it years ago, nor is my hyperfixation going in its direction, this may not be very accurate to how the boys would act nor do I really have much to say-

But in general, they would most certainly be there to comfort the Reader no matter what. Especially after something as traumatizing as their family dying literally overnight.

If they have to deal with hallucinations, pretty sure they're not gonna leave their Master alone. Just in case anything happens y'know. Or even to just comfort them when need be.

If they're attached to an object and get very emotional over keeping it safe/close, the boys won't dare try take it away.

Any physical wounds would be treated as best as they can, but they know they can't remove certain scars, let alone any of the mental scars. Which makes most of them sad, because they really do want to help, but they're limited in their own capabilities.

My friend M and I were in a store, a sort of grocery store ig and I suppose it was Halloween themed since there were spooky decorations and blood splatter everywhere and I was chasing my friend's lil brother and I went to the fish seller's stand and asked if I could borrow some masks and an extra outfit and a huge knife to scare the kid and surprisingly they let me but he knew I was coming and laughed at me so I left and then M and I were on the second floor of that store, a cross between a Veromoda and a Max and an H&M right? And we're standing there by the clothes and M and I are looking at cute dresses but by the benches there's this group of girls, classic mean girls situation, the queen bee was explaining something and all the other girls were wearing obviously fake smiles and I figured I'd stay out of it but then she started saying really harmful and toxic stuff and I just knew something bad was coming. So I went up to her and very diplomatically explained. And I don't remember much of the rest UNTIL. THESE TWO KIDS WERE LIKE NO WE HATE THESE SHOES and she was like YOU WILL WEAR THEM and I don't know but suddenly I was being bitchy too and I yelled at those two like TAKE MY SHOE RIGHT NOW DO IT WEAR IT and she sighed in such friggin relief and then all the others walked to my side and as much as I definitely wasn't gonna be some weird ass queen bee I was glad they had an out and we all started walking down the stairs but there were two knives on the bench and once they left her I knew she was unstable and while walking towards the stairs I whispered to the girls to walk faster and then run bc she would definitely try and stab us??

And she screamed like frustrated mean girl slash escaped from assylum scream and we all started running and I lost sight of the girls and I ran to the security and we walked out of the door into this weird 'metal walls like in a movie' hallway and we were at the edge of it, backed up at a T-section, and the whole place was chaos and these mofos were firing randomly and then a scared group of kids was there to our left and I was basically surrounded and the cops were in a circle around me and they were trying to get to the right and exit and this one kid I wanted to warn him but I was too late he started running to protect this lil girl he was with and time slowed down and the crazy FUCKING OFFICER SHOT HIM AND THERE WAS SCREAMING EVERYWHERE and then my alarm went off and I woke up

ooc: notes for me for a potential future headcanon

caleb was 33 at the time of the campaign (though he may have had a birthday since the campaign takes at least a year in game time)

he escaped the assylum at 28 and spent five years running and such and met Nott a bit before he met all of the Mighty Nein so he was likely 32-33 at that time.

He was 17 when he went into the assylum and was set to graduate from the academy with trent.

now i know canon states he went to the academy at 15... BUT i don’t like that. cause i say i don’t. he was scouted when he was younger around 10. Trent took him under his tutelage around age 13. it wasn’t until he was taken under trent’s tutelage that he moved to the academy full time and rarely saw his parents. what astrids and wulfs do is their own thing, but i am keeping the younger age thing.

Dr. Jacob Black

Birth name: Jacob Kaleb Clayton

Attire: When among people in the day you will most likely see him in street clothes to blend in and not draw attention to himself. Perhaps a tv shirt or hoodie with jeans.

However when he is out as Dr. Black, normally with his lovely creation, you will see him sporting a black suit, a cane and a black mask. Sometimes he will also wear a top hat looking as though he stepped out of the 20's.

Jacob stands at around 5'10, he has a slender yet fit build, black hair & dark brown eyes.

PERSONALITY: seeing as he hasn't been the same since he got out of the assylum, but he was generally quiet, withdrawn and actually quite caring when it comes to family, whomever he lets in to be family.

Another side of him is ruthless, dark and heartless, doing what he feel he needs to in order to do what he feels he must.

He can be awkward at times and has two sides that fight between doing right or wrong.

Skills/Talents:

Brilliant and genius are words that have been used many times in his life, though he's never really been big in the muscles area, but what he lacks in brawn he makes up abundantly in brains.

He knows how to fight in a way that he can strike certain points on a persons body to disable them within moments. He knows the human body very well and has the speed and know how to fight almost anyone (in most cases) down

EQUIPMENT

He favors a cane that has multiple uses, being a custom cane, it made of pure silver with a hidden sword. it also has compressed gasses within that can go from knocking out someone, paralyzing them or even poisoning them

History:

Doctor Jacob Clayton

A.K.A. Doctor Black

Langford Institute... Jacob never belonged there, he had been put there against his will and without proper cause, at least that is what he kept trying to tell the doctors there, but of course no one believed him, or really cared, he was a free genie-pig for them and they couldn't care less rather or not he was sane, well all but one doctor... She did believe him and tried to get him released, but that never worked out and he never saw her again.

Lets go back some, to help you get a better understanding as to how Jacob K. Clayton, a once respectable and admired physics doctor and prodigy wound up in the Langford Institute.

Jacob grew up in a small town in Ireland to a couple who owned a small potato farm, they didn't have much but they had enough to live, but it was early on that the young couple first saw their first born was created for more than just farming potatoes, but in order to feed this bright child's intellect they would need money and resources that they just didn't have... So when one of their relatives who had moved to America came to visit, the couple saw their chance.

Stowing the young boy onto the ship back to the Americas, his cousin took him away from his homeland, his family, everything he had known in pursuit of a brighter future.

Jacob Clayton transformed into Jackson Davil, he was given a completely new identity which was hard for the young boy to grasp for a time, it wasn't explained to him why his parents sent him away, only that they said he would be able to really 'grow' without them which didn't make sense. What was life without family?

Young Jacob however did grow, more and more brilliant every time one turned around, though there was no day that went past that he didn't think of his parents, that he didn't wish to go home, and when his cousin got married to a very rich and abusive man, he wished to escape all the more.

Jacob won scholarships to many universities at the age of 13, extremely a

dvanced for his age it was harder for him because he had no friends and the only family he had, his cousin, was found dead in her basement... suicide they had ruled.

He was now completely alone and his now his new guardian, her abusive husband had complete control over his life and the man made sure it was a living hell.

As soon as Jacob turned 18 he ran off and took on the new identity Jacob Black and was found by a professor who referred him to a think tank where Jacob's talents were truly used. Unknowingly to Jacob that it was his abusive guardian who was pulling the strings.

Jacob felt as though he was in heaven... He had his free rein of projects, equipment, privacy and quiet, which at this point he had become accustomed too for the most part, though it was difficult still to be so alone, but that loneliness had a chance to change when a young woman and fellow think tanker offered an olive branch to the anti-social estranged young man, this young woman he was come to fall for and she for him, which didn't settle well with another member who had his shot with her but blew it several times.

Being the bigger man was more of Jacob's thing, and for the other member, he preferred the more petty route.

One day Jacob came to his work room and found authorities ravaging through his work, enraged by the sight he tried to stop them and was arrested on the spot, accused of creating a inhuman and terrorist fueled experiment. This wasn't true of course but the evidence was stacked against him and soon after he was consider to be clinically insane.

Over the years in the institute, Jacob tried to prove that he wasn't insane, but after a while he began to wonder if he was crazy, there was only one person in the institute; a doctor, who believed him which was really the only thing that kept him going. When the doctor who did believe him tried to get him released she disappeared and that was the last straw for Jacob.

Teaming up with another 'inmate' the two plotted an esca

pe, but not before new 'treatments' were established, treatments that caused a very adverse effect before he did escape. Jacob became diagnosed with did, obtaining a new identity (or a few) within his own consciousness... Jacob was able to keep most the voices suppressed except one who seemed to convince him that he was there only to aid, slowly Jacob and the voice later to be named Kierson, quickly began their work to repay those who wronged him...

With the help of his most prized creation, Felony Black; a once fellow inmate at Langford, she is dedicated to Jacob and Jacob alone, him forever to be 'her doc' she has been the most successful creation.

Though he has had multiple subjects, none have or can surpass his little Felony... This proved to be quite so when Kierson took over completely, though in the mist of still working for her doc (Who she knew was not) she obeyed Keirson until it came to 'put away' her real doc, betraying Keirson she stole the doc who was trapped in his mind of his own body after Keir had successfully removed his consciousness from Jacobs and placed himself in a new body with His 'Nightingale', Keir's newest creation, by his side, Felony took doc and escaped back to earth one.

Now what is the fate of the Dark doctor? We shall see...

I don’t know where the “Jon is a dumbass” thing came from, everything he did was the logical conclusion given the context or stakes at hand:

Season 1

“There’s paranormal interference to some of the information I’m trying convert to digital format”-> Find another way to preserve the information->Try with whatever->Look at that, tapes work

“I feel like I’m being watched when I read out loud the information I already know has paranormal content and interference”->Play dumb until you find out what’s going on

“There are multiple accounts of Jane Prentis with a paranormal parasite even verified by hospital records, my assistant said he was attacked by her”-> Keep a close eye on him, increase security, offer him assylum

“Another assistant said she was attacked by the same parasites that now appeared in the institute and says she’s got intel on how to defend ourselves, but the intel came from a suspicious source“->Take her advice but also investigate about that source->Tell Elias about it

"We’re under attack and probably going to die because we were absolutely not prepared for this and I don’t know about the precautions Elias took”-> Try to get the tape recorder to leave testimony of what happened to you

Season 2

“Assistant found the corpse of my predecesor dead by gun wounds, in the very suspicious undeground tunnels“->Doesn’t sound supernatural->Someone killed her + She spent all her time working-> Someone from work killed her-> Colleages or boss might be at fault+Don’t know why someone would kill her->Maybe you’re in danger too->Investigate by yourself without raising suspicion

“There’s proof that everyone’s keeping secrets“->Panic->Try to get some intel from the police

Bad decisions made out of paranoia, stress, trauma and tiredness: Follow people home, break into Gertrude’s flat, not taking enough precautions to not raise suspicion.

Outcome: Martin was hiding that he falsified his qualifications, Sasha was replaced by a monster, Elias is probably the killer so Jon was right to do what he did. Friendship ended with Tim, now beholding is my new best friend

Only dumbass decision made all season: Trying to destroy the table where the monster lives in an attempt at revenge, preventing more attacks or rescuing his assistant

“I fucked up and the thing, we found out is evil, that helped us before is offering me a way to escape before the murderous monster comes for me” -> Enter the paranormal madness labyrinth knowing you might not come back because it’s better than the alternative (at least you know what to expect in there)

“I know from experience that Leitner’s books are extremely dangerous and I don’t know the guy’s motives but he just saved my life”-> He can manipulate the tunnels at will->Hear him out in a place he can’t use to his advantage-> Take Leitner’s words, the guy who’s been on the run underground for months if not years, with a grain of salt and try to keep a cool head

“Find Leitner dead knowing there’s a whole section of the police dedicated to paranormal events and making sure to cover them up so there’s almost never a follow up, an investigation or a court case and that Elias is most likely the killer and that my previous behavior will allow everyone to believe him if he frames me“->Lay low for a while

Working Wednesday

Here is the state of my current WIPs with July’s Camp Nano picking up steam. As before, my main camp fic will be The Library Beneath the Clock Tower, I also have a project I need to get finished for July, and those two are taking priority.

The Library Beneath the Clock Tower: AU Cursed Storybrooke. (Inspried by/based on The Bookshop on the Corner: A Novel, by Jenny Colgan)

Storybrooke has no library, and neither does Belle, not since the library where she worked in Boston discovered her past as an inpatient at a mental hospital. Taking her future into her own hands, Belle travels to Storybrooke where her intention is to open up the town library, but all does not go according to her plan. Obstacles and false starts, and diversion along very wrong pathways interrupt her journey toward fulfilling her dream, as well as taking her rightful place and becoming a part of the Storybrooke community. - Chapter 33/53 posted and 6 more are written ready for editing, and I’m 2,023 words into chapter 41 - an important chapter.

All Our Past Mistakes: AU Non-Cursed Storybrooke

Doctor Gold, professor of history at the local campus of Maine University, is stuck in a loveless, and one might say abusive relationship with a wife who is less than attentive to their family, and whom he suspects cares little for her marital vows. His resolve to maintain his own faithfulness is sorely tested by the presence of one of his new students - a junior by the name of Belle French - whom it seems fate is determined to put in his way. The two become embroiled in a passionate, and redemptive relationship, but not before suffering numerous setbacks and separations. Disparate Pathways: AU and Remix of Witness Protection, which was written for the 2019 RSS.

Gold has a past, a past that he has rejected, but it seems one that will not let him go. Belle, daughter of Governor Maurice French has been kidnapped, along with her mother, and just as the authorities raid the organization that is holding her hostage, decides to make her own bid for freedom, unknowingly derailing an undercover sting, and Agent Milnor has not choice but to take her into ‘protective custody,’ but is he all that he seems? As the threads of the story grow more tangled and the threat to Belle, and to Gold, her appointed protector, grow ever more real, a growing, mutual attraction makes everything far more desperate and far too personal for Gold to ignore what he knows to be the truth. - Nothing written since last week.

Scattered: AU OUAT, where the curse didn’t quite happen the way it did on the show. (It went ‘wrong’)

Casting a spell, any spell - at least the ones that involve more than just the wave of a hand, or worse, the wave of an irritating fairy’s wand - takes time, and patience, and the right ingredients, and… just like any recipe, if you get it wrong, it doesn’t mean the cake won’t cook, rather then will, just with unexpected or unintended outcomes. All of Rumplestiltskin’s careful planning and manipulation, all of his hopes and dreams turn to dust; ashes in his bitter heart in the blink of an eye… in the fall of an equine heart. Belle exchanges one terrible prison for another, and it’s one she is desperate to escape, and though Rumple’s fate as The Savior was severed from him centuries ago, sometimes fate itself has a way of finding an alternate route home. - nothing written since last week

What the Actual Fuck! : Sutherelle fic

Prime Minister Robert Sutherland is feeling pressured, and isn’t prepared to acquiesce to the repeated challenges from within his cabinet nor the wider circle of those around him. He resorts to drastic measures to ascertain who can be trusted, turning to an ‘old friend’ to help him separate the wheat from the chaff. Said friend promises to send in his best operative to assist the PM, the trouble is the operative finds out more than Robert necessarily wants to know, and all this just as all hell is breaking loose around him; people hurt, Britain in chaos and multiple deaths push him into making some hard hitting decisions in order to safeguard himself, the country, and the people he cares about - Nothing written since last week.

Breathe: Rushbelle.

As the Lucian Alliance attack Icarus Base, Doctor Rush makes the decision that dialing back to Earth is too dangerous, though that may not at all be his reason for attempting to dial the ninth chevron, persuaded by Eli, and by something Belle had said to him previously, he substitues Earth for Icarus, and the connection is made. In spite of hurrying to urge Belle to the ‘Gate room and through the ‘Gate, neither he, nor anyone else believes that Belle actually made it on board Destiny… - Part one of the We Three series. - Nothing written since last week.

Storybrooke’s Best Kept Secret: Rumbelle, Cursed Storybrook AU

This story was created accidentally when what I had written didn’t fit for something else. in which Belle is not kept in the assylum, but in a little cottage on the very edge of Storbrook town, and few know she’s there. Then, one day, someone else finds out. - Nothing written since last week.

Darkness In Hyperion Heights: Woven Beauty, Mystery/Paranormal AU

One stormy morning, Detective Weaver shows up to work and finds someone waiting for him in his office. His visitor is a scholar and a curator for the British Museum, and has recently discovered that an artefact from the vaults is missing. She has followed the trail left in the wake of its disappearence and it led her to Hyperion Heights, and now, she needs Weaver’s help - 355 words written

Modern Wonders: Well now, how to classify /this/ one? Lets start by saying it is a crossover with OUAT and SyFy’s Mini-series, Alice. It’s kind of ‘ensemble’ and kind of ‘Mad Rumbelle/Mad Curious Archer’ sorta kinda. This is still in the ‘mulling’ stage, and might not get anything posted for a while, because of… well… reasons! (Spoilers), but we’re working on it.

Also, I still have 2 series awaiting their next works: Darker Hearts: an AU Wish!Rumbelle, and Thoughts On A Happy Ending: A Rumblelle focussed Belle introspective of the entire journey from season 1 through season 7. Nothing has been written for either just yet, so no change since theirlast update, but they are included in the writing schedule so maybe that will change.

Just story ideas I have and wrote about a little I guess

#1: Unnamed - unfinished not even 200 words of some sort au where yami is an animal

#2: King Yamir, King of illusions - unfinished Is a story where Yugi got kidnapped from his home and is now traveling back after 50 years with a dragon, a knight and two centaurs and their friend. However once he arrives, he realizes things have changed and he isnt sure if the life with the humans might have been better off, even if they got rid of his wings.

#3 Mermaids - unfinished An au where Yugi gets himself into trouble by swimming too close to the surface and he ends up getting hit by the blade of a boat propeller. Kaiba ends up taking care of him but pegasus wants to put him on display. Atem meanwhile is furiously searching in every corner of the sea to find Yugi back and will stop at nothing to find him.

#4 Untamed - unfinished Prince Yugi is in search of a mythical beast in the woods that bears the fruit of life on its antlers which can save his grandfather, and the current king’s life. if he fails however, his evil uncle Aknaheden will assend the throne and plunge the kingdom into destruction. Meanwhile he kidnaps a child, befriends the most sarcastic cook ever and insults a young prodigee mage along the way.

... tbh i think shiirojasmine would love what i have in store for that one but im too afraid to tag anyone in this long post.

#5 Aelves - unfinished This story was created before King Yamir. It centered around Atem and his family which were orphans that lived on the streets before getting taken in by townspeople. Atem was the apprentice of a blacksmith bullied by a fierce adventerous knight who told him he would never make good swords, Timaël (Timaeus’ counterpart) was a sheperdboy who was afraid of sheep and Heba worked in a bakery. They find out their parents have been killed by Aelves and plan on finding these Aelves only to befriend Yami, Yugi and Timaeus because they saved one that almost drowned in the river while the other two were unnable to swim.

This was the original idea, but there were too many characters and though i havent really written a good amount on it, this hasbeen revised into number 6

#6 Aelves - unfinished Atem finds himself in a bind when he befriends a young Aelf when another thinks he is going to be Yugi’s candidate for the wild hunt. The wild hunt involves humans having to run as the Aelves chase them riding deer. And the human has the marry the Aelf that captures them. Also Yugi hits Atem with a frying pan because why not.

#7 The Time we Share - finished Probably the only fanfic i have ever finished. Resolves about Yami, a social awkward young man that is in love with his introverted neighbor and has no idea how to handle it. A short oneshot. Nobody understands it. I dont even know myself.

#8 Words better left unsaid - unfinished Another Neighbor Au Where Yami is a serial killer that partakes in weird human sacrifice rituals. Yugi is so dense however he doesnt notice it. Meanwile Yami keeps stalking him around, always knowing an excuse to be in the same place as Yugi. Eventually Yugi just takes him along because reasons he doesnt find suspicious at all. But having an infatuated serial killing stalker is a good thing when the world finds out you are in possession of an ancient artifact made of solid gold and everyone wants to kill you.

#9 Mirror Immage - unfinished (this is an old one) What if there was a life on the other side of the mirror that was the entire opposite of your own yet still looked exactly the same? And what if you fell through? What if your Mirror Immage was right beside you, instead of being a mere reflection? #10 We create this world - unfinished Based on an old fanfiction of mine called Need A Second to Breathe- basically it is a rewrite of this- In where Yami, Atem and the other egyptiantied cast are the incarnated gods of Egypt. Yami is not allowed to enter the Human world but does so anyway, finding Yugi. He uses his godlike powers to make Yugi happy and angers Atem further. However Atem once made the same mistake of falling in love with a human called Heba, and Yugi looking like Heba is not helping in the slightest. Yugi keeps having viseons of Heba, whos ghost has returned from the underworld, however at the terrible price of being possessed by an evil spirit. #11 A Shadow’s cast - unfinished I think I was either very tired or sick writing this one because it doesnt make any sense. Basically Yugi wakes to find a visitor in his home that is trying to hide from an organisation that is trying to hurt hus guest. Needs a desperate rewrite.

#12 The Cecaelia - unfinished but up for reading Here What do you do when you find a little creature out on the beach being attacked by seagulls? Chuck it back into the ocean, or take care of it? #13 Mob Boss Yugi - unfinished This kind of was based on Shiirojasmine’s 3 gods au and it sort of formed into my own concoction I suppose. An au where Yugi often blacks out and becomes Yami, one of the greatest mob bosses the world has ever seen. Mai and Joey being undercover agents. Yugi gets scared and writes letters to his other self, finding out that he is a mere puppet that is to serve Atem. Atem is being captured by an evil organisation and has year to pay all his depts using Yugi, or he will be killed. A heist takes place at school and Yugi can no longer determine wether he is a high school student or a wanted drugdealer.

#14 Beast Assylum - unfinished A creepy Au where Yugi and Atem have been subjected to Lycanthropy and are being locked away so they cant hurt any innocent people ever again. Instead they are being used to get rid of people society doesnt want and or need. Atem is a crybaby. Yugi has been planning his escape for a long time now, why has he started to care for the other, this was not supposed to happen! #15 Baby And a Pharo - unfinished A spoof fanfiction where Yugi solves a puzzle as a baby and somehow it is a portal to the past. The Egyptians think he is son or Ra and Atem takes Yugi under his wing. However Time in Yugis verse moves faster and He has to make the disission wether he wants to stay with Atem forever or not. #16 Two Necromancers - unfinished Two necromancers. A prince and a thief. They both get resurrected to life to stop big threat to the world.What the two necromancers didn't account for was that they were sworn enemies. #17 Darkness beast - unfinished This one is too long to explain so enjoy the short version Kaiba and Dartz open up a portal to a knight-and-dragon Era and get the kings of the land they opened the portal on at their sides, Dartz tries to provoke a war, Yugi tries to stop him, Atem goes missing and then Yugi has to take care of a shadow like creature, until Dartz decides to put it onto the chessboard and use it as a threath to Kaiba and his alliences.

#18 Demons - unfinished Demons. When the world discovered that demons could be summoned to do one’s bidding, they didn’t quite understand what that meant. People were naïve and greedy. And it wouldn’t be long before one would summon something that nobody could control. Basically Ludus’s origin story. Needs a good solid rewrite.

#19 Mewtwo Yami - unfinished A stupid crossover where Yami ends up being raised by Mewtwo, thinks he is a pokemon, meets Yugi and wants to compete in pokemon battles (bullies Yugi into being his trainer so he can compete) to prove he is the strongest “pokemon” to make Mewtwo proud of him.

#20 The Assylum - unfinished Another one of these fics. basically what you would expect. Yami has the ability to see monsters that disguise themselves as humans and exterminates them, Yugi thinks he is just a mentally sick, cold blooded killer. Truth is Yami is also a monster.

#21 Chasing You - unfinished Ai Atem gets the task to find Yugi, so Atem can hold him in his arms, but Ai Atem has his own sights set on Kaiba. Feeling conflicted because he is more than a mere replica. He is better than that real Atem! Yet he wants to know what Atem and Yugi’s relationship was like. Was it love? Is that what he is feeling?

#22 The God Bird Au - unfinished One Day Harpies descended from the skies to terrorize the little village that Yugi lives in. When one sets his sights on Yugi, the youngster ignores him. He has bigger problems than listening to the flirting of an overgrown bird. And who is this snowy owl-creature that sounds so familiar?

#23 He’s not a retard - unfinished What is it with me and Yami being a killer? oh dear... Yami is an intelectually impaired, wheelchair-ridden person however he is what goes bump in the night. Yugi is his caretaker and never bargained for any of his shit. Not the part where he saves a plane from getting hijacked, and not the part where they get stuck in a tomb in egypt!

#24 Yami’s Angel - unfinished I think this was like my first Yugioh Au Yami finds a small, unconcious Angel and befriends the little guy and takes care of him. Yugi loves strawberries and chaos ensues because Yugi ALWAYS gets lost in public places. Later in the story he finds out Ryou has the same problem. Except he has a little devil. #25 The Wheelchair Au - unfinished A combination of the two ideas above. Atem, after a suicidal attempt which caused him to lose both his legs and a finger, refuses to undergo any opperation which could make him use prostetic legs in order to walk again. With nobody to care for him, he stays at the hospital. However one night he hearsa small voice, which is Yugi, his guardian angel, and if they fuse, Atem regains his legs. However if they remain fused for longer than 3 hours, Yugi will disappear.

#26 Dancing in Eternal winter Yugi gets stuck on a mountain with a jock who doesnt understand any language Yugi knows. Spirit Animals are there to help. Yugi then realises that Yami is unable to reintigrate into society, because he has been living on his own all this time, surviving, and his spirit Animal would be much too dangerous. No matter how nice Gulo is.

#27 The Levitated Mansion - unfinished Atem Lives in a wealthy family and loves to look at the stars with his telescope. However one day he sees a levitated mansion, the owner of said mansion has an eye on him. #28 Shapeshifters - unfinished Yugi is working at an orphanage when he meets an old Ijiraat, a shapeshifter that you forget after seeing him. However the more time Yugi spends with him, the more he keeps remembering. #29 Sphinxson Yugi - unfinished Atem lives in a village that has deemed him crazy because he swears he sees monsters. Kaiba is a monster hunter and decides to exploit the scared youth. Yugi is a Sphinx that cant wait for his human grandfather to return, but how long has it been? Just a few days, right?

#30 Pokemon - unfinished Another Pokemon Au. Yugi is an Eevee that has been taken in by the Kaiba brothers, but after a mishap in the trophee room and Evolving into a Vaporeon, What will happen to the young pokemon? #31 We Are Not Alone - unfinished An Alien Refugee gets mistaken by the Egyptian people as a god, and teach him their ways, however another of his kind is on their way to kill him. Can Atem and Yugi fight this evil Alien or not? And Where is Atem’s family? #32 Safe and Sound - unfinished A comfort/hurt oneshot fic where Yugi scolds Yami for hurting people, even if it is for protecting him. Basically the idea was that this event is what made Yami stop his evil penalty games.

#33 On a hot summer night, would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red rose between his teeth - unfinished Yugi is a werewolf that mistakingly kills a sheep of Yami and Ryou’s farm. However Yami and Ryou do not seem to realise who their guest is until Yami finds Yugi’s bloodied clothes on the floor one day as he returns home. thinking th beast that fled out of the window devoured him whole. Yugi tries to keep running, not wanting Yami to know he is a beast, but Yami keeps hunting, dead on bringing the beast down. #34 Bone Datem - unfinished A schooltrip to Egypt turns into chaos when Yugi gets trapped into a tomb and tries to make his way out. However when he finds a living Mummy that follows him around and wants him to steal the millennium puzzle from the Museum, he finds himself in an even bigger hastle than he bargained for.

#35 Unnamed genderbend Yugi Blindshipping Au - unfinished Yami and Atem are two gang members that hate each other. However yami is a playboy and gets cursed by a witch. Everytime the sun is down he transforms into a girl. But this girl doesnt remember anything and thinks her name is Yugi. One time, yami does not get home in time and this leads to yugi meeting atem who instantly falls in love with her. Theres little things though like yami being able to see everything yugi does and sometimes controlling her body or mind. At one point when atem tries to kiss him, she punches him bc yami in no way is gonna kiss that bastard xD atem mistakes it as hes gone too far and yugi is just superconfused why she did that xD I already know what i want the end to be but its kind of a sad part on yami's part? Also there is a part where atem finds out yugi is actually yami or something

#36 The Superhero Au - unfinished Yugi is in a happy relationship with his boyfriend atem but what he doesnt know is that Atem is also the Supervillain Yami. And Atem himself has no control over it whatsoever. The rules of the world is that one who can summon strong monsters are either superheroes or villains. However Yami can only summon a small little Kuroboh, and giving Yugi more trouble than ever. Atem on the other hand claims he has never been able to summon a monster before.

#37 Demon boyfriend Atem This was supposedly a parody idea where Atem lost his temper way too quick and started yelling in a demonic voice (ind of like Aggretsuko lol) And Yugi wasnt really phased by it at all because at the end of the day he knows atem loves him xD Even if it scares his friends a little.

#38 I wanna steal your heart (and eat your brains) - unfinished Title was based on a song. Yugi is a zombie and has been dating Atem and chaos ensuess. Kaiba also is a zombie and has been experimenting on himself and discovered some odd perks of being a zombie. (honestlyno plot just shenanigans and lovers quarrels)

DH: Warm vs Cold

Greater Dragons come in two different types: Warm and Cold. These dragons are indicative of where they came from; either the World Above (re: the general Surface of the planet), or the Cold World (re: the Dark mountains, a section of the world that is cast in shadow). Warmlings and Cold Ones do not get along well, for Warmlings cast the Cold Ones into shadow after fighting a bloody war with each other over the limited source of Magic the surface had.

Warm dragons are often scaled, spiny, or covered in plain/smooth skin, and have control over VOID or DARKNESS magic. They, like most Warmlings, are the warriors and the scholars, the ones who sought Magic for its arcane knowledge and its ability to improve society as a whole. They were a bit power-hungry as well, seeing how those who controlled Magic could control the world in a large way. Their greed turned them against their Cold brethren and led them to banishing the others in fear that they’d usurp their power if given the chance.

Cold dragons are often feathered, furred, or gel-like, and have control over PRISM or LIGHT magic. They, like most Cold Ones, were the mages and the artisans of the world and sought Magic for it’s beauty and life knowledge. They sought out not to control Magic, but to become one with it, perhaps a bit too much, as they often lost their minds to the nature of Magic and were prone to becoming eldritch monstrosities made of nothing but pure magic and flesh. The power hunger of the Warmlings drove them to fight for the right to keep Magic free, but their inability to resist Magic’s call weakened their forces and led to their banishment in the bloodiest war they’d seen.

Upon banishment, Cold Ones began to study the properties of Magic to try and see how the Warmlings saw it. They began taking their studies more seriously, resisting the call to join Magic’s nature and becoming powerful mage warriors and artistic scholars. Their power grew greatly and under the Greater Dragon Second King’s tyrannical and power-hungry rule, brought forth after years of power-starvation, Cold Ones began a whisper among the Warmlings that war was brewing as they gathered their forces.

Warmlings, however, grew lazy. They depended greatly on magic for everything, from technology to schooling to cooking, and began to lose the arcane knowledge they so sought after to complacency. Monsters and Humans began to divide themselves by their differences and their inability to understand each other, then systematically (with Monsters suffering under Human reigns for the most part), until finally they decided to separate completely and rule their own kingdoms. Generations of tension between humans and monsters began to finally fester upon news that the Cold Ones were beginning to prepare for battle. Would they be able to regain each other’s support, or would they kill each other off before the Second King could finish them once and for all?

While Greater Dragons tend to not care for man/monsterkind’s personal drivel, Warm dragons managed to get caught up in the prejudice of each side and were divided among themselves as well - with some preferring the company of humans while others found it easier in monster society. The one thing they could agree on, however, was how hunters arose from both human AND monster kind, and how both would rue the day they messed with their kind, even if they “played nice.”

Cold dragons were extremely rare, almost completely forgotten due to their segregation with the rest of the Cold Ones. They faced great fear in the Cold World, however, due to the King’s cruel reign, and were often treated as royalty by association. This, however, did not keep hunters from trying to find them out, although hunters were illegal in all Cold World states and thus were often Warmlings trying to make a name for themselves rather than foolish Cold Ones. Cold dragons had life pretty easy in general, but faced greater social stigma than their Warm brothers.

There was no communication between Warm and Cold dragons for eons until one brave soul decided to escape the royal castle with his youngest brother in tow, seeking assylum in the Warmling world from a father who was cruel and tyrannical to him and his siblings. If he could, he would’ve taken them all with him - but he could only manage the youngest across the border, being young himself.

Their disappearance, along with the mysterious disappearance of the King’s eldest son several years prior, shook both worlds and raised the stakes of both wars greatly. Three Princes of Cold lost in a world of Warmth... What would become of them in a world such as this?

The Bennington Triangle.

The triangle is In the Green Mountains of Vermont which is known for its strange creatures and unexplainable lights. Many people disappeared within a span of 5 years in an area of these woods known as the Glastenbury Wilderness.

American natives believed the land to be cursed, evil. They only used it for their burial grounds. All 4 winds are said to meet there, so the land was not someplace they wanted to live. There's also folklore of magical human-swallowing stones, said to swallow anything that steps on it or gets too close. Many who have been to the area swear they've seen ghosts, and many more have died gone crazy, had terrible luck, or even died.

The first documented disappearance was in 1892. A man named Henry MacDowell killed his coworker, Jim Crowley during a fight. He escaped from the assylum he was sentenced to, ran into the wilderness and was never heard from again.

Then in November, 1945. Middie Rivers (75) brought 4 hunters onto the mountain. Middie was said to get ahead of the others, and was never seen again.

In December, 1946. Paula Welden, an 18 yr old attending the local college, decided to do some hiking in the area. She was seen on the trail, but then disappeared without a trace.

Exactly 3 years later, to the day, James E. Tetford also disappeared. He was last seen on a bus in the area.

October, 1950. Paul Jepson, just 8 yrs old, was the next victim. His parents worked at a garbage dump. They turned their back, and the child was simply gone.

Just 2 weeks later, Freida Langer was hiking with her cousin, Herbert Elsner. Frieda knew the area Very well, and was unlikely to become lost. She, too, disappeared. The search for her was huge, and included planes. Her body was eventually found, but in a spot which had been combed previously. It's said that there was no way it was in that spot the whole time. Her cause of death is unknown.

Melvin Hills, just 13, disappeared on October 11, 1942, and in 1949, 3 hunters turned up missing.

Then in 1950, the disappearances just STOPPED.

Maybe there was a serial killer at onep point. Some believe that the missing were pulled into another dimension, or even abducted by a UFO. Maybe they all just got lost, as unlikely as that would be. No one knows, and probably never will.

Okay this might be just be wishful thinking for a nice ending but I just feel like Jisoo/Ms Kim(unlikely but maybe her pity played a part like she seemed emotionless and kinda cold maybe tryna hide something when she told Taehyung) played a part in helping Hayan escape to Japan(?) cuz with the limited help Hayan has access she cant have got out on her own - I feel like they took up new identitied maybe applying for assylum ike her bruises and condition might have helped persuade with the etc Xx

Hayan for sure has had help from an insider because there was no way Hayan would be able to manage that on her own. That’s one thing I can confirm.

It would have been an interesting situation if Ms. Kim helped her out since Taehyung’s mother was portrayed as a villain in the story.

Please read if you are a LGBTQIA+ person planning on seeing It Chapter 2!

Mild spoilers ahead but this literally only spoils the first 15 minutes and nothing serious about the movie. So, I guess, don’t read on if you don’t want spoilers and are okay with potentially being very triggered at this movie.

Alright, imma about to get on my soap box so get ready, folks.

My girlfriend introduced me to the origional 80’s It movie as well as the new remake from a few years ago (no, we did not watch the 90’s minu-series). As eveyone knows, It is a horror novel by Steven King that has veen adapted into movies. Most people know to expect jump scares and flashing lights and other stims that can trigger people with epilepsy or people on the Autism Spectrum, as well as others. You also think to expect gore and violence in a movie like this. And those are all definitely there, which is no surprise.

However, what my girlfriend and I were completely unprepared for was the terrifying hate crime in the very beginning of the movie. Full disclosure, this scene was written into the novel but was nowhere to be found in the original film and unless you read the book (which is extremely long) you wouldn’t know about this scene without doing research into the movie. I’m one of those people who doesn’t like to have any spoilers going into a movie, because it kind of ruins it for me. However, any kind of warning on social media about this scene would have been nice.

To give a breif summary of what happens, 2 men are out at a carnival in the main town the movies take place in. They are being openly affectionate and a group of 3 men - 2 of which are obviosuly teens, one that’s seemingly older - starts harrassing them and throwing out pracitcally every gay slur in the book telling them they shouldn’t be there. One of the men - Adrian - stands up to them verbally and the two leave. As they are walking home by a bridge, the 3 approach them again and proceed to beat them both to bloody pulps - savagley. There’s no good way to describe in words how horrifyingly graphic this scene is. The homophobes then throw Adrian off the bridge into the river down below. His boyfriend tries to save him but ultimately Adrian is mauled by Pennywise and the boyfriend seemingly escapes, as the next scene the cops are called and he is sitting in an ambulance with a towel wrapped around him. We then never see or hear anything about any of the people involved in this scene again.

We were so horrified by this scene that we were curled up crying in each other’s arms and I was extremely tempted to leave the theatre right as the title screen showed up. Let me explain for context that my girlfriend and I are both fans of horror movies and morbid things. None of the previous It movies were scary in the slightest to me and neither of us are spooked by things like that at all. But after this scene, I was trembling and practically sitting in her lap I was so scared and upset. It was by far the most terrifying scene in the movie, and it caught us completely off guard. Now, had I done some research into the movie beforehand I probably would have found the articles from a few months ago talking about why the director included this scene. However, like I said before, I’m the type that doesn’t like to get spoilers before seing a movie. Like to the point I won’t willingly watch a trailer for a movie unless I have no idea what it’s about, and even then I usually just read a short synopsis. Going into any random movie, even a horror movie, I don’t expect to witness something like that.

If you read the article here about the director’s decision in keeping this scene in the film, he says it’s because when reading the novel it stuck with him and that he wanted to show that even in 2019 - when this movie is set - horrible hate crimes like this still happen. However, my question to that is.... was that really needed? Bigots watching the movie are going to see this as a win, because there are absolutely no consiquences for the people who commit this crime and Adrian winds up brutally murdered. If he hadn’t been, the river definitely would have swept him away and killed him. Even the bullies who torment the main 7 kids in the movie wind up murdered or manipulated and left in a mental assylum for 27 years. But these bigots? Nothing. Pennywise doesn’t go after them, we don’t see any legal repercussions, not anything at all.

It leaves anyone in the LGBTQIA+ community wretching because we are already aware that these things happen to us every day.

I sincerely doubt the biggots watching this movie felt any sympathy for them because they are never thought about again after Pennywise mutalates Adrian. The scene doesn’t feel sympathetic or like it’s trying to show that this still happens. It felt like the director played up the scene as much as possible to get a huge shock-value scare at the begining of the movie that plays off the very real fears of anyone who isn’t straight and cisgendered.

This feels especially true when you consider the fact that the remakes heavily downplay the racism that is strong throughout the novel. The whole reason Mike is singled out by the bullies is that he’s a POC. Not because he’s an “outcast.” Yet, this is nowhere to be seen. They completely take out the racism dircted towards Mike throughout the movies but they take every oppurtunity to punch you in the stomach with the homophobia.

So, moral of the story here is, if you don’t want to be triggered by a horrid hate crime.... don’t go see this movie. It was so distacting that I had a hard time paying attention to anything that happened after that and I went home and had a complete meltdown and didn’t stop sobbing for a whole hour.

Pulse Blogger: Desperate bid to escape to overseas ‘heaven’

Even as I write this piece one can bet that yet another batch evacuees from Libya are on their way home after a failed but desperate bid to escape to the much sought after Europe.

And as I pen this one can bet again that an international rescue ship owned or chartered by international humanitarian nongovernmental organisations filled with hundreds of haggard-looking Africans including Nigerians is roving about on the high sea searching and making passionate appeal to any European nation for permission to anchor and camp them as refugees.

The Migration Tragedy.

Even as I write this, it is not unlikely that yet another dozens and dozens of African migrants are drowning on the Mediterranean seas after capsizing of their rickety, overloaded boats attempting to ferry them over to the nearest European city off northern Africa. As I write this tens of Nigerian cum African migrants are being buried alive by the desert sand dunes as they attempt the daring walk across the Sahara desert to Europe.

Countless are the number of Nigerians and other Africans that have lost their lives in their desperate but risky journey to escape overseas. In spite of these rather horrifying pictures, many Nigerians and Africans are still willing to follow these same routes, literally to risk everything to set foot on European and American soil.

Assylum Tales.

And when you consider the type of stories these emigrants from our lands spin in order to curry favour/ sympathy and be allowed to stay in those countries as asylum seekers you would wonder whether to laugh or lament. They allege that they are running away from political and religious persecutions, economic deprivation and social trauma among others, as for example being subjected to female genital mutilation; that is the oyibo’s phrase for female circumcision.

They are sympathetic to such ‘victims’, the word ‘mutilation’ conveying it all to them. Soon perhaps some may claim subjugation to tribal mark incision as a reason for fleeing abroad; after all, the Europeans would term it ‘facial mutilation’.

The Boko Haram insurgency and the herdsmen/farmers crises have provided an alibi for those seeking asylum abroad, to plead the wrong but popular narrative that they are facing “religious and ethnic genocide”. It is true that the western world appear to have a soft spot for ethnic minorities and would push for their preservation; but let us be honest the Boko Haram and pastoralists/farmers crises is not about uprooting a particular religion per se; it is impossible to totally wipe off any certain religion I believe.
