broth
I absolutely love your username
And to this I propose
oblivious Kazuichi towards a Yakuza and animal breeder silently hitting on him (kuzusoudam if not obvious)
Like like like they both gather under a sakura tree to confess their feelings to the mechanic after a long grueling 10 months of school and he does NOT know what they're there for, real!!!1!1!!! And Kazuichi the whole time they start their monologue of “So we were thinkin’..” and “We'd bestow upon you meer mortal our time, in exchange we want...” yada yada oh damm Kazuichi still doesn't know what they're there for (hiko and gundy spoke to eachother and decided to confess together btw)
Partly cause Gundham speaks in riddles and Fuyuhiko barely mutters loud enough for him to hear (both are cherry tomato red as they speak btw)
- Someone's Truly, 🎀🌙 anon
ahh !! hello !! it is so funny that this ask comes to me at this time - i am recently thinking about danganronpa again as i just started v3. i have vowed to stay off of tumblr to avoid spoilers but shh this is sdr2. it's fine.
anyways !! thank you anon - so much !! i dearly miss the days of brothy asks. (and thank you for the compliment!! i have become quite attached to the broth brand)
but !!!! eee !! i have not thought about this is So Long i love it !!!! kazuichi souda is so fucking stupid i truly believe the whole time these two implode kaz is just,,, "damn, why are they here" in his brain. dumb boy.
dumfounded stupid man watching gundham speak in half poetic, half nonsense speech - unable to actually vocalize how he feels with normal words because. he is a fool. gundham tanaka is a shy coward of a man. at least when it comes to pretty boys. kaz desprerately tries to kind context from fuyuhiko but he is no better - he just spends most of his time stumbling vulgarly through what he thought was a carefully planned monologue.
kaz just :] whats going on ???
i believe a problem may arise when the oblivious man still cannot decipher the riddles presented before them - one of these men must open their mouth !!! fuyu would likely get frustrated and just !!! tell him. while lovingly calling him a fucking idiot <3
tysm for this ask anon!!! ahh i love thinking about this again.

Thought I might start posting shorter fics here as well. This one is the only one that qualifies so far. Hope you enjoy it.
Here’s the AO3 link anyway: https://archiveofourown.org/works/41174769
Hurt (Close Your Eyes)
By AnimationHermit/TheAnimationHermit
Fandom: Danganronpa/DR2
Relationship: Fuyuhiko/Kazuichi
Genre: Songfic, Hurt/Comfort, Fluff
TW: Nightmares, Child Abuse, SH/S thoughts, typical DR despair shit, blood, bullies
Notes: Kaz is always autistic when I write him, and here I wanted to write him as semi-verbal cuz I am exactly that. Also I was projecting/venting hard here so…
Darkness. A vast darkness that shifts, changes then gives way into a messy, rough caricature of recollection. Memory that’s been viewed here over and over. An endless circle that’s only beginning again.
A voice. That voice. It always starts with that voice. Gruff, loud, angry as it yells about how worthless the recipient is. Louder still as it mixes with the rush of wind, the horrible smack against skin. Those same echoes reverberating within the garage as he presses his hands on a wall. Again and again. Only seconds between them. Pain. So much fucking pain. Bruising, bleeding. There’s sobbing and shaking from him that’s so violent his lungs forget they’re supposed to expand. Strangled apologies fall out. Legs almost give with every hit. Then they do.
The first shift.
Hurt. Hurt. His heart hurts. His head hurts. Everything hurts. It doesn’t make sense. He doesn’t understand. Why would he betray him like this? How could he? His best friend. His only friend. Someone that he trusted. Someone that he…
Suddenly he’s chasing after him through a labyrinth of school halls. He calls out relentlessly. He just wants to know what he did wrong. His former best friend only keeps running. It goes on for what feels like forever until he’s promptly tripped.
Students. Bullies with indistinguishable faces laugh and mock him, keep him pinned to the ground. Kick him harshly, repeatedly from all sides. He uselessly continues calling until the figure he’d been pursuing disappears from sight. Leaving him utterly alone.
The second shift.
Blood. So much blood. He can barely even tell where it stops and his body begins. A thundering cacophony of screams. Crackling fire. His own nervous yet unhinged laughter as his victims beg for mercy. Numbness even as he wildly grins, as he caves a skull in with a wrench. As his eyes burn with streams of unnecessary tears.
Then there’s instant flashes of bodies killed by his own hand. Dismembered, run over, exploded, beheaded, electrocuted. Many, many more. Most he doesn’t recognize. But then there’s two. Two faces he can still make out despite the wounds. Two faces he’s hated his entire life. Those images are followed by nothing but despair. Strangely wonderful, elation worthy despair that causes him to tremble. To panic.
But he’s so happy. Happy as he simultaneously gets the urge to fill his stomach with gasoline and light himself ablaze.
He does it to his newest victim instead, as it’s nothing new.
The last shift consists of more recent events, concerning a certain killing game and virtual simulation. Of horrible executions, anxiety, and distrust. Of an evil bear and a huge delusional woman. But it also morphs into moments where he’d almost broken. Before, during and after everything. Moments where he’d believed no one would care if he disappeared, as he plunges a personalized screwdriver into his wrist. Because that’s one thing that’s been present throughout it all.
And then, when it seems that darkness is at its end, it’s really only the beginning of a circle.

“No….no…”
Kazuichi repeatedly mumbles that word in his sleep, tossing and turning until he rolls completely over, lands in a fetal position.
The movement stirs the other person in the bed.
Fuyuhiko rubs sleep from his face, hearing whimpers and general distress. He notices that his lover has turned away from him, so he sits up on his knees. The lighting is dim, but he crawls forward anyway, placing a hand on a shoulder. “Hey. What’s wrong?” He asks the shaking form, only realizing seconds after that he’s still sleeping.
“Kaz.” He says, getting closer and louder, “Babe, wake up.”
Nothing happens, though now he can make out the frantic words, hear him start to sob. Which gives him a better idea of what’s going on, leaving him concerned. “Kazu-“
“No!!”
The blonde winces a little, feeling for him. But decides to be rougher, tries to pull him to flip over on his back. The other body thrashes, only crying and shouting more. There’s a long, awkward struggle between them as Kazuichi only gets out that same word while his name is repeated.
“Stop fuckin’ hitting me!” Fuyuhiko eventually says in frustration, seemingly unable to flip him. He gives up when that only earns him another loud cry. A couple hiccups sound as his boyfriend instantly withdraws back into the previous position. Practically hugging himself. It causes an ache in the yakuza’s chest. It’s not like he hasn’t been there before. Well, he hasn’t self-harmed his whole life, but he has thrust a knife in his stomach and gouged out an unwanted eye. Plenty of other traumatizing things. Some of the exact same things. It’s more than fair to say he understands. He sighs deeply, trying not to get emotional.
He moves up behind him, leaning close to his face and setting his hand on a shoulder again. “Wake the hell up.” Fuyuhiko insists, loud and firm yet soft, “No one can hurt you now. They’ll have to get through me first.”
He squeezes him tight on instinct and nuzzles the back of his neck. Kazuichi jolts slightly and grabs the arms around him. “Kaz?” He says to gauge if he’s finally awake or not. There’s a strangled attempt at speech, (probably the blonde’s name, but he can’t tell for sure) proving that he is. But the same crying, shaking, and hiccupping just continues with a vengeance. Before anything else can happen, the mechanic almost aggressively turns around. Throwing his arms around a slim midsection, gripping a t-shirt as he eagerly presses against his chest. Fuyuhiko grunts a little from the force, reciprocating by hugging his neck, running a hand through long hair.
“Shhh. You’re safe. It’s all over.” He soothes as he feels wet patches form on fabric. They stay like this until wrecked sobs become whimpers. It takes some time.
“You think ya can try and sleep now? Or do ya wanna get up?” Is said once it’s quiet for a second. Kazuichi shakes his head. It doesn’t help. Fuyuhiko sighs.
“You gotta answer the question, babe.” He pushes. Another whimper. The other knows it’s hard for him to speak at times like this. “Please.” Is added.
“Sleep. S-Stay.” The pinkette quietly gets out as he gives another squeeze, as he nuzzles him.
The yakuza leans to kiss his head. “I’m not goin’ anywhere.” He says with a little amusement, “I love you, yeah?”
Three taps against his back is all the confirmation he needs. Fuyuhiko doesn’t have the slightest fucking clue what compels him to, but he finds himself humming softly as Kazuichi falls back asleep.
Safe and sound in his favorite person’s arms.

Yandere Killing!! ~When I told my obsessive childhood friend, "I love you too," she shifted to the romantic comedy route~(Manga)
Created by: Toyama Monaka/Kazuichi
Genre: Smut
The continual descent into translating yandere stuff continues. This one only has one chapter out for me to translate so far, so really the only last maybe 10 pages have any semblance of smut. Still though, the artwork for this one is very pretty and I am so happy with the way that I typefaced this one like you will not believe how clean it is compared to other ones I've translated.
The story starts out with a man named Isogi begging in front of Miyoshi to take him back after he cheated on her with another girl. Miyoshi of course bluntly rejects him, stating that the one thing he cannot forgive is cheating to which Isogi is dragged away. After that, her coworkers get worried about her and she continues her work at the coffee shop, only to meet up with another man named Ohara who asks if the two of them will be eating dinner tonight. Ohara and Miyoshi are childhood friends and have a tendency to eat together with her sister Ryoka. Outside, Isogi stalks Miyoshi until Ohara comes to "have a talk with him". At night, it seems Ohara is late and Miyoshi and Ryoka eat together instead, before Ryoka turns in for the night warning Miyoshi to be more careful when it comes to Ohara. Ohara comes over to eat and we see that Miyoshi has had a long time crush on him, however, feels that he has no interest in him because of an event that happened when she was in high school. At work, Tayaka ends up proposing to Miyoshi after she laments about her ex for a bit promising that he will be loyal, however, is interrupted by Ohara. Ohara seems pretty pissed which leads to Miyoshi feeling depressed about this fact as she still has a crush on him. Not wanting this to eat her, she tries to call Ohara so that she can confess to him, even if she feels he won't reciprocate. However, while attempting to do so, her sister ends up calling her instead, warning that Ohara is right behind her before Ohara takes her phone. Ohara is extremely jealous and starts to touch her. talking about how Isogi and Tayaka don't deserve her before basically mating pressing her at the end.
Basically I think that the plot of this smut (I mean most smuts barely have a plot, fair enough) was pretty intriguing until the very end of this chapter where everything escalates way too fast. I guess considering the title states it goes into a comedic route that might be the reason why? Hard to tell with just the first chapter though. Also because we know that the male lead is a yandere at all times, the misunderstanding of her not realizing that Ohara does have a huge crush on him is pretty like...well, the dramatic irony is not lost on me, I suppose. Still, I did think that the entire thing with Sayuki's drive to not try to get back together with someone who cheated is pretty good, although I'm not sure why she feels like that since we don't know if she's actually had problems with cheaters in the past (before Isogi) and I feel (?) like it's pretty standard for people to not get back with someone who has cheated on them if there is not reason to (like having kids or being financially dependent on them for instance). Like I said though, the ending of that is pretty confusing- how did Sayuki's sister Ryoka know that Ohara was right behind her and why did she call in the first place? I mean, I know Ryoka was pretty much the only person who knew the two liked each other, but how did she know he was coming for her? And like. I don't understand why Ohara didn't just try to confess to her in the first place if he likes her so dang much anways, especially since it did seem like the two of them were close. Again though, this is a smut so it's not like the plot is the most important part of this story, there's just a lot of things going on that don't really have an explanation now.
That being said, this artwork is very pretty and it does a good job with the yandere expressions that we did get. Hopefully as more chapters come out that I can translate we can figure out what is going on in this story.

Thinking about the trauma bond of the Danganronpa survivors and how they stick by each other no matter how clashing their personalities can be at times:
THH survivors clash the most but they can and will fight god to make their fellow survivors feel better. They have movie nights. They stay up all night together when someone has work to do just so they don’t have to be alone. They all have nicknames for each other and tease each other constantly. Hina and Hiro are always there to try to lift the mood, and they offer comfort so often that they forget that they need comfort too, but it’s okay because the others remind them in their own ways. They talk about their families and their lives before the despair. Even Byakuya and Kyoko have their occasional breakdowns when it all gets too much and no one judges them. Sure, they may get into spats and arguments but they care about one another.
SDR2 survivors are like a family. They never go without one another, and they have long talks about nothing just to try to get their minds off of the horrors going on outside. They work constantly to try to bring their dead friends back and to help the world recover from the despair that they helped caused. They feel guilty and self-hatred, but it’s okay because they aren’t alone. Akane and Sonia always find fun activities for them all to do, and sometimes they can forget all of that guilt if only for a moment because they feel like kids again. They all go on walks together to find things around the island. Kazuichi makes tributes to all of their fallen friends so they all can remember who they’re fighting for. Sometimes they can just be found all cuddled together because it makes them feel safe and loved.
V3 survivors offer a break from a world not meant for them. They all sleep in the same room and talk when they find it hard to sleep. Often times, one of them will awaken from a nightmare and the other two are quick to offer comfort. Whenever they go out, they are always found together because they can’t stand to be alone in a reality where everyone knows them. Maki is always first to put on a brave face, and she isn’t afraid to scare people away when it gets to be too much, but when the three are alone, she knows that she can let her feelings out. Anxiety attacks are common with all three of them, especially when they’re alone, but they know that they have each other through thick and thin. They know that they are real. Even when they don’t think that they belong in this world, they know that they belong with each other.
The common thing with them all is that it takes time to heal, and having a support system can be so important when dealing with trauma. Knowing you aren’t alone- that you matter to people- can be something special.

Hello!
What is your opinion on danganronpa 2.5?
hello anon! thank you SO MUCH letting me ramble!!! :)
I really do love Danganronpa 2.5, I think it's really cool that they explain more how everyone was waken up, I also adore that the plot is based off of statements in Danganronpa 2 only elaborating and exploring them more. Not only that, but they make it all about Nagito who's the same character that is complex enough to have three entire songs haha!! So it works out well.
2.5 reverses Nagito's luck cycle which makes it easier to understand and I really love it. It also adds the statement that truly Nagito would rather have his luck not harm others but rather help them and harm himself, there's also the detail that Nagito's luck is so prominent in his life that even in a world made by his subconscious it is always there. It also implies he deep down wishes talent didn't exist which is something he'd never admit or even know he felt with his unhealthy obsession and dedication with hope and the ultimates!!!
I really enjoy world destroyer too, I think his scenes are very interesting, like, ok man thanks for pulling up with your FINGER GUNS??? It's super cool!! His design is pretty interesting too even if it's just adding to Hajime's preexisting one.
I also like the detail that alongside Nagito's own death the memories that he remembers most vividly is Hajime's smile and his time with him which is just very sweet
The moments with Makoto and Sayaka being out of character because Nagito views them, especially Makoto, so highly is super funny too. Kazuichi and Fuyuhiko's friendship is also fun and something we don't get to see often! The background characters we get to see are also just very fun.
I find it really interesting that by swapping Nagito's belief with the opposite it's basically telling what the genuine issue is in their world because his beliefs stems from the flawed ideals of hope's peak. The issue in their world isn't the talentless, it's the talented. No one is happy, talentless people feel worthless, and being talented is exhausting in its own way. All of the social pressure of not being treated as humans being at its most extreme in this world is upsetting for most everyone.
also this Parallel makes me lose my MIND!!!!!!
Danganronpa 2.5 has a lot of REALLY good stuff going on for it, I think the only complaint I see about it is Nagito's "contradiction," which I'll talk a little bit about!
Basically, people like to point out that with Nagito's suicide plan he should have been more upset, "He never believed in Hajime though?"
I've seen a few pretty good interpretations of it, but the one I think makes most sense is that he was talking more to Izuru kamakura since he had gotten his memories back. Nagito's old and new memories merge together, he remembers pretty much everything. Which is why he sees Izuru first, then corrects himself seeing Hajime, and Hajime replies that they're both him.
Nagito then says he knew he'd make it to the lowest stratum, and that he believed in him. Basically saying that Izuru could do anything.
Maybe he believed the supposedly Bad luck from going into the Neo World Program would end up in Good luck? It's unclear a bit, but I definitely believe he's talking to Izuru a bit at the very least. Mostly because if he believed in Hajime in the killing game his luck cycle wouldn't have gone, good luck: the traitor was selected, bad luck: the plan didn't work and they lived.
Nagito has known Hajime and Izuru now and accepts him for who he is. It's honestly really sweet. Hajime himself has grown and accepts Nagito for who he is as well. They both forgive each other and it's just really sweet. They've been through a lot!
Overall little rambles aside, I think Danganronpa 2.5 is really lovely. It adds more to Nagito's character, tells more information about how the class woke up while using actual text from Danganronpa 2, and is just super fun! I love Danganronpa 2.5 a lot.
