Revenant is soooo mid which is disappointing because I was looking forward to it due to the actors and writer (this isn’t a flop like Jirisan, which I gave up on after 2–3 episodes, but it’s not really good). BUT. BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m suffering from “poor little meow meow middle-aged man” deficiency and Professor Yeom Haesang suffers so much. I can’t believe I was like “Oh...okay” about his casting because I’m planting my palms against his windows, peering at him in his little cage and being fed because he’s had the worst life ever and it keeps getting worse. HAESANG *____*<3

#why are we not talking about him more on reddit/twitter/tumblr and why are there not enough gifs and pics of him breaking down #or looking slutty in his all black ensembles complete with a turtleneck #watch as this man's life continues to deteriorate! ep. 7 and 8 provided such rich sustenance for me #a simp for ajusshideul who are miserable #he's so small and sad and he can't catch a break #yeah okay hongsae is great too and he's a cutie but LOOK AT THIS 40-YEAR-OLD MAN! #technically i wouldn't even count that as MIDDLE age middle-aged but his actor is 46 so whatever #in all seriousness revenant exasperates me a little because you can see how it can be good #especially because there's a frame of reference to base that hypothesis on: signal. lol. #signal wasn't without its flaws but the characters and relationships actually had development and the main partnerships were intense #and the tension was high throughout #revenant is the same thing every episode pretty much #the first three episodes were pretty to really good and i loved the setup #and you have kim taeri hong kyung and oh jungsae and they're great actors #but the directing and writing aren't serving them well and you can see the drop in quality from the beginning to now tbh #there's only so much they can do if they're not being given enough from both #though the little bits that are good are the reason i'm sticking around to the end lol. that and haesang i'm going to be real #like haesang and sanyoung's relationship needed to be parallel soohyun and haeyoung's in a way in terms of how much #they grow to rely on each other and care for each other but we don't really get that

hi...cmere if you want to hear my current thoughts of totk... (spoilers ahead ofc)

Hi :] so since everyone is taking a different path on playing this game this is what I have so far

Currently I have completed the tutorial section, have only Dragon Tears #1 and #2, and completed the Wind Temple

I wanted to write down my thoughts after I finished w the tutorial section but I was just so excited to play I just kept going until I finally decided to take a small break from playing the game for almost the entire day lol. ALSO I will include pics...in some parts

ANYWAYZ THE BEGINNING SECTION I NEED TO GET THIS OFF MY CHEST CAUSE I WAS LOSING MY MIND ABT IT. So when Zelda explains how the "gloom" works I WAS JSUT "...that sounds like the Malice im my au HMMM NO WAY I PREDICTED THIS MY BRAIN HUGE" JNSDKJFNSD I liked that we get to see a little bit more of Zelda before she disappears but also! I liked how she is still prevalent in the story and aids Link at some point in the tutorial section. Also I just find it funny how she appears to people like ghosts knfgskng I know for sure that would be explained why later on.

Now to the tutorial, I had a lot of fun with the shrines better yet all the shrines in general have been super fun. None of them have been a drag to me I have a lot of fun especially that you have to use your arm abilities and that stuff never gets old to me. TBH THO there were a few moments when traveling around the island where my muscle memory is to press "x" to paraglide when I suddenly remembered I don't have the paraglider JFNGKDNF I was yearning for that paraglider.

Sorta of a side note I am really loving how npcs have more personality, like Purah and Robbie just radiate so much more as characters than in BotW. I am loving so far the new npcs it makes the world feel less empty.

Now...to the moment i've been waiting to talk abt. The Dragon tear memories

I love them. I love them SO SO MUCH ESPECIALLY SONIA BUT I FEEL LIKE I LOVE RAURU JUST AS MUCH IDK THEY ARE VERY FUCKING CUTE I CANTTTTT I WANT TO CHANGE MY BANNER TO THEM BUT I KNOW ITS LIKE SUPER SPOILERY OUGHHHHHH

My friends insisted to get the memories in order cause that would make me into an emotional wreck so I can't wait! <3

Now to Rito Village/Wind Temple. First of all, the Rito Theme when its in the blizzard got me a little emotional ngl. It might be cause Wind Waker was one for the first tloz games that i introduced myself to back when I was 14 and hearing it so desolate it almost got me. AND THEN SEEING THE KIDS ALL ON THEIR OWN OUGH (I want to know where's Kass tho...).

TULIN!!! Tulin is adorable idk I enjoyed his character how his stubbornness on doing things on his own was changed to teamwork makes the dream work arc idk it was cute. Teba not being present makes sense to me as he's the new Rito Elder and all. Glad the dude is not dead KJFNGKDJNF

Now the journey to the Wind Temple was so fun it was so fun like idk how to describe it. The ost was amazing especially when finally reaching the temple when you ascend high above the blizzard storm and then you glide down and UGH it was so amazing. The Wind Temple was just as fun it felt like your good old Zelda temple and I love that so much. THE BOSS AS WELL YOUR TYPICAL EVIL CRUSTACEAN WITH WINGS AND UGH!! I Love it I love it sm

NOW AT THE BEGINNING ENTERING THE WIND TEMPLE when the voice appeared, at first I thought it was Rauru. But then I took a second take and he sounded differently than Rauru and I said "oh is this the ancient champion?" AND I WAS RIGHT ITS THE WIND SAGE AND OH OH OH OK

I WAS SO....💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN//? HE LOOKS RAD THE OTHER SAGES LOOK JIST AS AMAZING. AND THEN-

THIS BITCH GOT HORNS!!!! WHAT 💥💥💥💥

HONESTLY ok time to put my critical hat here. Im honestly not expecting anything crazy with Ganondorf like idk I am excited but at the same time I do have that worry in the back of my mind that he would be your typical evil villain. ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY HAVE SUCH A SOLID STORY WITH GOOD WORLD BUILD like I hope they don't blow it up. and ngl I kinda forgot abt Ganondor for a moment cause I've been so fixated over Sonia and Rauru KJNGDJKFNGKDFJ I CANT WAIT TO MEET THE FIRE SAGE THOUGH RAAHGHHGGHH AND THE ZONAI NEXT TO RAURU OUGH I FORGOT HER NAME BUT RAURU MENTIONS HER IN THE SECOND DRAGON TEAR MEMORY THATS HIS BIG SIS!!!!

One more thing I forgot to mention (theres so much stuff don't get me started to how much I love the depth) the soundtrack is phenomenal. When diving down from either the sky or to the depth it so pretty. And like I said the ost where thats building up when reaching the Wind Temple *chef's kiss* AND how the Wind Temple's theme mixes both Vah Medoh's theme (attacking and inside) and Rito Village. Reminding you what you're fighting for especially in Tulin's case

I am having a lot of fun with this game I am currently just wandering around in the Hebra region. ALSO NOW THAT I REMEMBER I WAS REALLY THROWN OFF BY THE SUBTLE CHANGES THE MAP HAS I STILL AM AND I GET IT for like ppl who played BotW make it feel completely different/new. Honestly its fun it feels like im exploring Hyrule for the first time again its nice <3

and that is all I have tbh I might disappear and come back w more ramblings. I want to say more but I don't want this post to be super long. The fact that I only got one Temple complete and two memories and I still have a lot more to do is so crazy to me

WAR OF THE PRINCESSES

i finished catching up to this like 2 minutes ago [EDIT: WROTE THAT THE DAY BEFORE YESTERDAYM NOW ITS 2 DAYS AGO] and i genuinely really liked this. for a manhua its amazing!! the plot is unique and keeps you guessing, the characters are entertaining and NOT cookie cutter cutouts of isekai tropes, theres been some interesting reveals and a lot of people in the comments were hating on ml but personally i found him super fun; hes very morally grey n has definite flaws but thats what makes him a good character to read about !! not to mention the main character herself is great. i hate that my bar for good manhwa/hwa characters has gone down to 'has more than 2 personality traits' but she is leaping over it for sure

i dont read yaoi i dont read bl. i have never ever read it . however the vibes were so strong that i had to go back and check the tags because.. if you read it... you will see. its so strong. it radiates. IT SEEMS I'VE TRANSMIGRATED SOMEWHERE

i have been waiting for aomethinf like this for SO LONG hahah the main character is so diddly darn confused the entire time cus in her past life shes read too much rofan etc and now cant figure out what novel shes trandmigrated into. regular manhwa reader fr,, anyway theres a strong case for second hand embarrassment in this one, especially in the first few chapters or so, but i genuinely really like this just cus its so self aware, it keeps poking fun at all the tropes and its a nice lighthearted read. also theres a decent amount of plot despite it all and OH I ALMOST FORGOT the male lead is an absolute 10 personalitywise i genuinely love him. hes here for drama and thats it its amazing. so yea id say tropey but Well Written super fun 👍👍👍

HIDING THE ARCHDUKE'S HUMILIATING HISTORY

i think this is the first manhwa ive read where the ml pisses himself in fear the first time he meets fl (theyre both children)(hes scared of something else not fl but still). anyway its nothing particularly unique but its pretty fun! its one of those novel isekai where mc reincarnates into a little kid and the structure makes it a sandwich which has been keeping me very invested. this isnt a very good advertisment but its a good way to pass the time i think. heres a nice reaction pic

oh my god??? just binged this whole thign in one go. first of all ots complete, second of all i guess you can say tjis is a character study in manhwa form. there isnt a particular overarching antagomist, its the characters learning to grow and face their own personal issues. but its also a slice of life, and lighthearted family drama, and comedy. its not a rofan this time lol. also the sibling relationships in susu, han are so good !! and theres so many lovely platonic relationships too. i really really enjoyed it.

So, which character did you go into the show believing would be your absolute favorite? And has that changed? Which side character are you enjoying the most? i started watching the show for melissa’s character. but before the show aired - the promo pics gave me the impression that i wouldn’t like her character. to me, they gave off the vibe that sadie was going to be a loud, irritating republican. but as soon as i started episode one, sadie had my heart and still does. sadie feels to me like another version of kara danvers, only more consistent/mature, and much better at her job

starting the first episode as everyone was getting introduced (after i realized i love sadie) i thought i was going to love lola and dislike kimberlyn. lola is the character closest to my age (i think she’s 4 years older than me?) so i expected to find her the most relatable. and a lot of her is. i also think she’s very intelligent, knows what she wants, and isn’t afraid to openly be herself which are all things i love about her. i also like that she isn’t trying to change herself to fit in and that she still defends kimberlyn in episode one, even though they come from very different ends of the political spectrum.

but sometimes lola needs to sit down and listen because she tends to act like she knows everything. like the moment where she’s dissing old journalists, or speaking over grace’s experiences about gender discrimination in the field. sometimes you just need to sit back and hear someone else. not everything needs to be an argument and not everyone needs to agree with you about everything. i feel like once lola gets that, i’ll like her more. because i try SO hard to like her, but every time i think she’s pulling me in, she does something to bug me lol

grace i kind of disliked at the beginning. i found her character to be kind of confusing (sometimes she’s sadie’s friend, sometimes she isn’t) and the scenes with annie i found so angering. im biased because of my own experiences with having toxic parents so at first it was hard to see past that when looking at grace’s dynamic with annie. but i think grace might be the most complex character on the show

the scene where she leaves the voicemail for annie after watching a tik tok especially comes to mind. for a moment she’s so open. she’s reaching out to her daughter in a way that didn’t seem possible from her, and she’s making a genuine effort to connect with her. it shows us that she does think about annie, she loves her, even though she’s hard around the edges. and then that message gets deleted, and she sends one that’s cold and threatening and much more like the grace from the beginning of the episode. the voicemail on its own is harsh but with the context it’s almost saddening? to know she’s trying to make that connection, but she’s sabotaging herself in the process.

it’s like she’s afraid of showing annie (and everyone else) that she is capable of warmth

as for team ups- i’m loving sadie and grace working together to uncover everything going on with walker. i think they balance each other out so well- and i wish we’d seen more of them working together in the last episode!!

Getting an autograph from each wrestler is very difficult and never happened to me(Whether it's a problem with currency units, banks, transportation costs that far away like on different side of the world, etc.) So, each wrestling Fanart I draw I don’t expect anything about money or even expect that they(wrestlers) will see my FanArt(bc they’re all old and not use any social media) . I’m drawing bc of self-relaxation/ make you enjoy my arts/ make you know that I like these wrestlers too. But there has someone expect money by using my art (that owner doesn’t expect anything) to be the way to earn little money, I just think it’s not fair Plus, if I got an autograph from my favorite wrestler on my Fanarts for real, I would definitely not sell it. Because it’s something that has sentimental value, cannot be measured in monetary terms. A Needlessly Long Ramble About Pony Poses!!!

I was talking to my bf today and i had some thoughts on poses! Specifically we were talking about the celestial ponies! Because I know some people really dislike the Tootsie pose

(Here is the pose in question- with images of the original pose and one of the celestial ponies using it. From toysisters and the amazon listing)

Personally (please no one take offense to this paragraph , just my own thoughts ^^” ) I never understood the hate for this pose, the ponies look cute! All ponies are cute to me, i really dont think there are any specific poses they could stand in that would make them Uncute or take away from their design. I think people dislike the way their head is tilted forwards and how the neck looks? (Again, I think the head tilt is cute ^^) one of the issues I saw a few people talking about with the celestial ponies in particular is that they don’t like that their heads can turn when the original pose isnt really made for that and the neck looks uneven, but to me thats not really an issue at all since you wont notice unless someone points it out or youre staring too much at the neck, and if you dislike it you can just not turn the heads lol.

But yeah, poses sure are interesting huh? there are a lot of pony poses, I really like the variety as it makes each pony feel unique (even if i end up collecting a million of the same pose lol). While I don’t dislike any poses I DEFINITELY have some that I ADORE!

(Forgive me for reposting my old photos for examples here lol) Some examples of my faves are:

the Posey Pose (So pretty! The legs are like shes gracefully walking)

The Bowtie Pose (I love the head tilt so much, makes them so pretty)

i fucking WISH i had any of the sitting pose ponies (image from mlpmerchdatabase) It was cool to have sitting ponies (probably the most unique pose in all of g1, especially since there were only ever 2 ponies in this pose)

THE UNICORN AND PEGASUS POSES FOR THE BABY BEDDY BYE EYE PONIES ARE SO FUCKING CUTE especially the unicorn one which is my ultimate fave bbe pose (i will defend bbe until i DIE) The shy little way their heads are positioned make the unicorns adorable, and the pegasus pose is also really cute

Surprise pose! (pulls out pre restoration photo because i dont have any good ones of her clean showing off the pose, her hair is always in the way lol). Her head is tilted at such an interesting angle compared to other mlp poses, her whole body leans into that tilt but she doesnt have any balancing issues or nothing!

I adore all the newborn poses but i LOVE the ones where theyre just STANDING THERE (like my noodles or doodles) And i also fucking adore the newborn dibbles pose holy shit. they are so little they just stand their with their heads down like little creechures (dibbles and nibbles pic from toysisters)

Anyways long rant aside: I feel like every pose can be really uniquely cute and give each pony a lot of personality >w< Do you guys have any favorites? Any poses you hate? Feel free to add on even if its in disagreement lol

Hobi - listening party something no members did ever lol, Lola + BTB + interviews, radio talk shows, crush collab, IU's pallet, crush interview, Zico interview.

Jin - Multiple movie premiers, Chef baek episodes, yesterday's liquor show, running man, CP concert performance, Youngji interview, interview with an old man idk his name, GQ top 10 things

Tae - ITS with wooga squad, movie premieres, Celine event, Vogue shoot, Paris schedule 2, dj radio show.

Suga - That That+ performance with Psy+ BTB, NCB event, dropping dropdead pics of insta which is definitely some photoshoots for a collab going behind scenes lol.

* Didn't included ost of vocal line because it was while they were performing and active as a group and didn't had any behind scenes.

Jimin - literally nothing and I wonder why. Is he not intereste in other activities apart from performing ? And not comfortable on appearing for those event. He's working for his album with various producers but that's it and rest members are doing the same, we saw how many collabs RM has on Indigo. Apart from all of these he's not active on sm too. I can see why you are “genuinely” confused Anon. You seem to have Jimin mixed up with some other person you think is Jimin...

Especially since you proceeded to compare him to every other member in the group as if lauding their accomplishments like it’s some sort of competition between the members... what’s the point of that? why does your mind even go there?

You sort of answered yourself right away in your third sentence:

"But Jimin is only working on his album and nothing else."

But in case you really are “genuinely” confused... I wonder how you got so mixed up about who Jimin is? Maybe you do not pay enough attention to Jimin... here let me help you figure it out:

Jimin has said repeatedly that he is working hard on his album. Over the last five or six months we’ve seen the pictures from so many award-winning producers and musicians who are excited to share that they are working with Jimin.

I am assuming Jimin’s involvement is very time consuming and leaves very little time to travel across the globe to see fashion shows and such. He is probably feeling a little time crunch with that thing called military service looming and we know Jimin is a perfectionist... well, the rest of us do but you probably are not aware Anon because you were confusing Jimin with someone else.... anyway... Jimin being the perfectionist is cooking up some great music for us and is laser focused and has chosen not to do any one-off collabs. Any collaborations he’s done he is keeping under wraps until he is ready to release his album. Why hold that against him?

I understand you "miss" him but he’s not been totally absent... he’s had some time to get out and about...

During June/July/August 2022:

Jimin went to watch a few soccer matches with Hobi and with Sung Woon. He also went to see his friend Sung Woon’s performance in a stage musical one evening.

One thing Jimin is not: an attention seeker. Crowds are not his thing. He tried to keep it lowkey but alas, people can’t help themselves and take pics and post them on social media. People have no chill when it comes to that. Red carpets are work for him. He obviously chooses not to do them. No red carpets mean no premiers.

Jimin made a side-trip to Chicago for Lollapalooza to support his Hobi-hyung. While there he also took in other Lolla acts including TXT. Maybe you missed that too. He's living the life, Anon. 

On to Los Angeles for his work and while there he hung out with Benny Blanco amongst others. Perhaps they even worked together again? We’ll find out eventually!

He also went to the beach at sunset again while in L.A. Jimin loves him some U.S. west coast beach at sunset (I wonder why).

On September 1 Jimin was with Jungkook on JK’s birthday. Remember JK's little smirk and giggle on HIS WeLive when Jin asked him if Jimin visited him that day and JK said yes, he did. They probably reminisced about that west coast beach sunset...I KNOW you couldn’t have missed the pic Jimin posted... but maybe you did.

Then Jimin did a few WeLives for us, I think three of them, spread out between then and his birthday on Oct. 13. So he's made himself visible when he's in the right frame of mind.

One thing that has become obvious... Jimin requires structure in his life. He flat out said going to work every day was something he needs to do... “it feels like clocking out, not clocking in” when he gets to work. It lines up with his near obsession about his workout regimen. During the pandemic he tearfully told us he wasn’t sure what he was supposed to be doing all that time. The man needs a schedule to function.

Another thing that’s quite obvious. Jimin is not gonna share anything he doesn’t want to. Except that he loves to eat but is constantly trying to maintain his weight/physique. And also he just lays around the house. Oh and also there are five moon tattoos running down his back now... see’em when you can he says... that boy... 

Yes, he’s an idol and he’s stated he is not a solo artist, he is part of a group. So this period is a real growing time for Jimin. Out of all the members, I believe Jimin will show us some things that even HE had no idea he could do. I am waiting patiently for him to be ready to show us. 

So I hope that made things less confusing for you, Anon. Any “outside” work that has nothing to do with is album is probably non-existent because that is what Jimin has chosen for himself. If you are still “genuinely” confused about that then I will just chalk it up to you choosing to be a “genuine” douchebag of a person and I hope you eventually grow out of that mindset.

I know we're on Tumblr and not r/fountainpens but I've seen people flexing their fp collections and it evoked something in me so here are (some of) my fountain pens. Most of them are budget ones + I added my honest thoughts about each one of them. Every ink (with one exception) is just pelikan royal blue because I'm not crazy about inks (plus some of them make me allergic af so). Mind you I hoarded most of them for 2 or 3 years, I haven't bought all of them during one day lol

Faber Castell Glam, color pearl - really pleasant to write with but really disappointing when it comes to everything else. Or maybe I'm just a shallow person who puts design above everything else, idk. First of all, it looked really shiny and pink in promo pics, but it's nothing like this irl, it's more like silver with very subtle purple-ish tint. Second, the paint is really prone to chipping and leaves some white spots. And maybe I would ignore it if it was cheaper, but for a fountain pen that's huge selling point is being aesthetically appealing it's a huge no-no.

Faber Castell Grip, color Rose - I like Faber Castell nibs, especially M sized nibs are something they're doing well. It's wet but not too much so ink is still drying fast enough, it writes really smoothly and without skipping. Those pens dry like crazy if you stop using them for some time though, you can't just put it on the back of your drawer and pick it up after a month. Hell, even after being left for a week it will probably need some cleaning. Also idk what is this color but it's not rose for sure. It's more like lilac / periwinkle.

Toma Super Fine - this one probably isn't telling a lot for most of you. Toma is Polish manufacturer of well known (at least locally) ballpoint pens (known as "ballpoint pen with star pattern" / "długopis w gwiazdki"), famous for writing really thin lines. Their fountain pen sure keeps this feature, but after taking one hard look it's obvious this pen is just good old Hero pen repackaged. Oops.

Pelikan Pina Colada - it writes thinner lines than most of Pelikan "school pens" (despite it being labeled as M nib), it's nothing fancy, but still pretty good. I ordered it in pink but internet store sent me black for some reason :(. I didn't say a thing because I don't really want to argue over $10 fountain pen but what a disappointment

Herlitz my.pen - idk what to write about this pen because it's just fucking weird. Not bad, just different. I think it's good for people who tend to press their pen really hard to the paper when they write, because its nib is imo a little less fragile than in most fountain pens I've seen. This fountain pen is like Nokia 3310 of fountain pens imo, somewhat a brick but almost indestructible. It comes in two versions, for left and right handed, and vide range of colors.

Pelikan Twist color Rose Gold or whatever - you either love or hate this pen. Some people say it's really uncomfortable to hold, while others praise it for its grip section specifically. For me it's a mixed bag because I prefer smaller pens, while this one is. Thick. And you can't really put the cap on top while writing because it becomes comically long then

Faber Castell Grip Pearl Edition - I don't remember what color it was supposed to be but it's peachy and slightly shiny. You can apply everything else I already said about FC pens here too. The pen I'm most attached to for reasons unknown to me

Platinum Preppy Sakura Edition - people mostly praise Platinum Preppy and do I think it's good? It clearly is. Especially for something this cheap. It's so smooth + I love sealed cap that prevents it from drying. Why I'm unhappy then? It's good pen, just not for me. The nib is a little bit too fragile for my liking, bends too easily and isn't so much pressure resistant. Plus I actually prefer my pens to have a little bit of a feedback. Not so much, just enough. This one is almost buttery smooth... Which I think most people would love, but personally I don't really like. Only Platinum converter or cartridges fit (their cartridges are really easy to refill tho)

Parker Vector XL color pink - it's really small and thin pen, which can be good or bad depending on who's using it. Really elegant looking for sure, it's on a cheaper side but made of metal, with plastic half-transparent grip section that makes it look quite classy. Its grip can become its curse though, because after long writing fingers tend to slip out of it and you can get some stains. Converter or Parker cartridges required because Parker are assholes

Pelikano Ocean Breeze - it's quite basic when it comes to writing, not disappointing nor leaving me in awe. Really pretty design, holographic blue with pattern resembling siren scales and grip section made out of pink rubber. Transgender pen! Transgender pen!

and yes, it's not just girls colby is interested in either. it's EVERY girl - date, friend, stranger - it doesn't matter. if fans can find out who she is, they will send her hate. or at the very least bombard her with questions as to how she knows colby, what's he like, ect. it's honestly very embarrassing to be in this fandom sometimes strictly bc of that type of shit.

in a relationship, my guess is that while he's not obsessive or demanding, he is very much like "you are my girlfriend". i don't see him to be the type to say you can't talk to this guy or be friends with these ppl, nothing like that. but he reads to me like the type to keep his arm around you while at the club, that way any guy that sees you know you're taken by him.

Umm outside of that, I'm also an artist though recently I haven't had much drive (I have recently drawn fanart for Ex-Aid and Zero One, though). I work in a hospital laboratory as a Medical Laboratory Scientist. I also write a lot of fanfics, you'll find me on AO3 as EtrnlVoid (be warned!! I write whumps mostly, sorrynotsorry, but I do take requests!)

I'm currently 26 years old and I love writing and I'm still new to the Toku Fandom even though I've seen all of Reiwa and Heisei Era KR at this point and every Super Sentai after Gokaiger. My problem is I've never actually interacted with other fans outside of my friends who got me into it early last year, but a lot of them suggested I come to Tumblr since I asked them about role-playing and servers and fanfics LOL. So here I be!

Anyway! Here's my collection thus far of my Ex-Aid stuff (Its better organized now, these pics were from a few weeks ago), excluding some other things (Like the Game Scope I have) ! I do have some things from Geats and Decade. I've also got some things from other Tokusatsu, such as some Super Sentai things from LupPat and Gokaigers. Oh! I also do cosplay, so I'll be cosplaying Emu Hojo at a few cons soon, with my friend who's going as Decade (I'd post my Emu cosplay but right now it's at the tailor getting adjusted; the CR doctor's coat and the shirts).

first of all THANK YOU @poseida FOR THE KIND WORDSSSSSSSSSSSSS here is my list of tips for maintaining oc consistency:

the most unfun tip is just to keep drawing LOL. changing between drawing sessions can be frustrating but its a phase a lot of artists go thru! i know i did like i HAD to finish a sketch in one shot otherwise my style would shift a bit. but i kept drawing and slowly but surely you'll become more and more conscious of what you can do to fix inconsistencies

tip 2.....have conscious traits for your ocs that stand out. some ppl like to do shape theory and have different characters be associated with dynamic shapes but...iont do all of that 😭😭😭😭😭 its good advice but i dont take it myself lolll. for me its small things like dante having more upturned catish kind of eyes with long down cast lashes and fangs that gives them this constant look of mischief/evil that makes them distinct!

whereas with layla she's got more of a rounded innocent looking eye shape with long lashes, a round face, curly hair and often looking pouty

having specific traits in mind that makes a character them really helps!!!

3. references, references, references. i will peddle references until the day i die!!!! i have a reference board for literally every character with their nose claim, previous drawings ive done of them, and a lot of pics of outfits theyd like. im CONSTANTLY referencing my previous drawings and that's helped a lot. i'll take an old drawing and line it up with the new reference pose i want to draw a character in and that way i keep myself on track. for references i use a program called pureref and its such a neat way to keep track of everything i have no idea what i did before 😭😭😭😭😭

4. take breaks to just look. ESPECIALLY if you're frustrated or feel like somethings not going right? stand up, stretch, get a snack and just look at what you're working on. i'll do this before or after working on a piece i'll leave it open and just look over everything and if there's something that didnt feel right i'd notice it and tweak it. seeing is the counterpoint of art and the better you are at seeing tiny things the better you'll get :)

Itsumi is sooo fun. She thinks Yuichi is an idiot and is frankly astonished he's still alive and that he's lived so long(she admires him, his kindness and determination). She tolerates him as he loves and cares for all the neko ninja orphans as little sisters (he loves and cares for her). Just. She was snarky and bossy and disbelieving. And it could have just been she was a brat kid and/or a bully. Or. Or It could be that she was always trying to be the loudest among them, speaking up and speaking out to get all the attention on her, "Look at me, look only at me, pay attention to me, ignore them, leave the others alone, they are not worth your time, focus on me." And disbelieving how Hanna actually got out of the crew because she needs to nip false hope in the bud to avoid getting hurt. Because while the other kittens sometimes have a confused or concerned expression, she had an angry or sceptical one. And she was always in front while the others were at her side and a step behind. She needs to be on the lookout, she needs to guide and protect the others because who else will? And Yuichi got them out. Sure Chizu and the others helped but Yuichi gave them a home. Tells them the best napping spots. Will tell them to try and find his hidden comics on their own, but will give hints(that aren't so much so hints but their exact locations) if he feels like they might be struggling even though they very much are definitely not. Pats their heads. Calls them imouto. Lends them his old clothes, gives them his childhood toys. Became their big brother. Goofy and more childish than them sometimes, but a good and caring older brother nonetheless.

Going from living with Lady Fuwa to living with Auntie on the farm.... They were always kept in the dojo, and depending on how young they were taken in never even remembered or knew what the sky looks like, and then its shown in the show that because of the bright lights of Neo Edo you can't see the stars, and then their first night at the farm, still disbelieving that they're truly free, together in a room because there's no way they feel comfortable enough to separate, and then looking out a window and seeing a sky, blue, dark, and covered in stars.

Itsumi chose new clothes that were blue, and yes it was to copy Yuichi (she will forever deny that) but also because blue is the color of freedom, the color of the samurai who held out his hand and tried to teach them to be good, the color of the sky overhead as you realize you are free to rest your head and not worry about a demon in red coming for you and your sisters family comrades, just. Peace.

She'll never admit that though, it's more tactical now, she'll say. The blue blends in better with the night sky now that the lights are off.

WHY does it have to be gone!?!? especially in an ending where hiyori is back. if she wasnt, then he'd be more accepting of the losses bc there were 2 both konoha and hiyori and like it becomes another whole thing abt letting go and mourning but if she is back…everything is supposed to be perfect!! everyone made it back!! why couldn't konoha? why does it have to be gone? its not fair! he doesnt care this haruka was the body's true owner!! konoha was his friend! it also deserved to live as much as this haruka guy!!! why is HE more important!!!?!?!?!? and he just. he's just insanely immature abt it. and he knows he is but truth is he's just really fucking sad and regretful about konoha being gone. i could also talk about hiyori and harukas feelings abt it but heheh yeah this is super long. erm. hibiyita el chiquito <3 hibiya throwing a tantrum in front of the whole dan abt how it isnt fair and how he wishes haruka would just die. also erm wholesome one before i end it. he makes little miniature dolls of the whole dan<3 he's BAD at typing on his new smartphone but since he lives away hes always texting in the gc<3 he gets super into mobile games<3 amongus fan hibiya asking all his grownup friends with jobs and no time for amongus if anyone can play with him<3 they do bc theyre busy but there will always be time to amongus with friends<3
