So what does everyone in the band au do, I know that Myatt plays the keyboard and that Lindsey plays pretty much everything but I don't know what everyone else does
Okay so I sort of have a working role list at this point!
In the guys’ band (The Fakes), Jeremy is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist, Trevor is the lead guitarist and does backup vocals, Michael is the bassist, Alfredo is the drummer, and Gavin does electronics/percussion. Matt helps them write and will fill in for Gavin if he can’t make it, though he’s not technically a member of the band. Jack is their manager, and has been since Geoff started the band (more on that in a sec)
In the girls’ band (not named yet :,) ), Fiona is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist, Sarah is the lead guitarist, Steffie is the bassist, Lindsay is the drummer, and Matt is their keyboard/electronics guy. Unlike The Fakes, he’s actually a regular performing member in this band.
Jon and Meg are both journalists. Jon is an independent music blogger with a fairly strong following, especially on a local scale; he does interviews and reviews with all of the local bands in the alt scene, along with any bigger acts that roll through. Meanwhile, Meg works for a larger music publication. She’s in town for the Battle of The Bands that’s sort of the driving conflict in the au, and she’s covering all of the shows related to it, along with helping to host the finals.
Geoff was originally the vocalist and lead guitarist of The Fakes, as the one to start it. However, after leading the band for a while, he realized that he needed to take a step back and focus on his physical and mental health, which he couldn’t do while performing. A while after he left, he decided he still wanted to be a part of the scene even if playing music wasn’t his thing anymore, so he founded a venue which would become one of the most popular hotspots in the local alt scene.
