What is this? Pink Onyx AU is a Steven Universe AU focused on interactions between Steven and Jasper and is intended to be read after you have finished Steven Universe Future, as it contains many many spoilers for the series. If you have watched it already, great! Welcome! The goal is to bring you a Jasper redemption arc that we couldn’t get due to time and cooperate restraints on the Crewniverse. I hope you enjoy!

I do not own these characters or their likenesses except for the single fluffy thembo fusion I created for the story. This is just a fan comic.

Comic is PG-13 for some angsty themes, minor blood, violence, and gem-cussing.

When do you post? Typically when you see this post pinned, I’m on a bit of a break, but when Nyx wakes up (this post goes away) the comic is due to be released 1 page at a time at 7am EST most days. I try for a daily release. Sometimes I skip a day if I’m behind. Episode release dates are always announced ahead of time by a few weeks.

Is this a romantic ship AU between Jasper and Steven? Nope, more like an aunt and her nephew trying to figure it all out. No romance between these two here.

What kind of fusion is Pink Onyx? Are they good or bad? Pink Onyx is a fusion of a protagonist and an antagonist, so their alliance is yet unknown, but they have Steven’s good heart and Jasper’s loyal nature. They also have Steven and Jasper’s flaws, so they can be volatile and emotionally explosive at times, too.

What are Pink Onyx’s pronouns? Onyx likes they/them, but also answers to he/him and she/her, especially when Steven or Jasper is dominant over one another. They also seem to take on a fluid role and prefer a she/her when in a caretaker status. They dislike it/its.

What does Pink Onyx sound like? Personally, I hear them as a youthful, masculine tone. Like Steven if a little older. But I also enjoy when people say they hear them as a gruff, Amazonian-type feminine. I enjoy and endorse both.

Do Jasper and Steven enjoy being fused to one another? For now, it is a struggle, but they enjoy what the other brings to the fusion even if they won’t say it.

Does Pink Onyx need to eat and do human things? If so, do they enjoy it? They don’t need to do them, but they do feel the discomfort without them. Things like breathing, eating, and sleeping are optional for Onyx, but they will become quite irritable if not allowed to do them. They greatly enjoy sleeping and trying new foods.

What does Jasper think about having human organs when fused? She’s pretty grossed out by the idea of organic matter going into her mouth and coming out of other places. The heart beating and lungs breathing she can feel for the first time, and it is highly strange for her to experience.

What is Pink Onyx’s favorite food? They adore anything watermelon flavored and Cookie-cat ice cream products

Does Pink Onyx have any special fusion powers? They do, and as they learn about themselves, more powers seem to come out. Each of their base component appears to be enhanced in a unique way. They have Pink Diamond at their core, so the destructive potential is also there.

Why is Steven hiding Pink Onyx from others? This AU occurs directly after the events of "I Am My Monster", so Steven is very emotionally, and mentally, raw. He fears judgement for running back to Jasper, who in the past, was part of so much trauma he already endured.

Pink Onyx seems to know nothing about human culture and gem culture despite being a fusion. What’s going on? Jasper and Steven agreed to fuse, but they have yet to open up to one another about much else. The fusion exists because they agree to do so, but Jasper won’t open up about her emotions, and Steven is so sensitive yet that he is not sharing because he knows Jasper won’t want to hear it. This causes Onyx to be unable to access both of their memories easily, but they can bring it out with enough effort.

It’s so funny to see people on Twitter get so worked up over TCOAAL. It’s like they go out of their way to talk about how much they hate the game. They will literally go to the accounts of people who post fan art/content of the game and act like a dick in the replies 🤦🏻‍♀️. It’s like omg get a damn life, if you hate the game so much why are you going out of your way to interact with people who like it???

Also, people getting this angry over a fictional animated horror game is so incredibly unserious to me, mind you there’s literally nothing super graphic in the game either. This is a prime example of a 1st world problem. I remember hearing about the controversy through a YouTube video and I was like wtf? Let me see what’s going on lol. Then I watched a play through on YouTube and I thought to myself “This is what people are so upset over??” I’ve never seen such fake moral outrage in my life 💀.

That’s actually how I became a fan of the game, I’ve been a fan of horror stuff for quite some time now and I love weirdo horror computer games, so I was glad to find something new! After watching the play through I bought the game and played it myself. Andrew and Ashley Graves have now wormed their way into my heart 🙄✋🏻 lmao. Seriously though, once you look deeper into their characters you see how they weren’t born evil, they’re just a product of their god awful environment and how their parents failed them. I’ve talked about this before so I’ll keep it brief, but ESPECIALLY Ashley, that girl had a terrible childhood and Andrew was the only one she could rely on, so of course she’s terrified of losing him. Not making excuses for her, but that explains why she goes to extreme measures to keep him around, because she thinks that’s the only way he’ll stay with her, she doesn’t think that someone could love her without her doing all that. Even though we know he’s equally obsessed with her and would stay no matter what, Ashley doesn’t know that yet. That’s why it’s frustrating for me to see people completely ignore that Ashley is a victim too. She was quite literally treated as disposable by everyone except for Andrew.

I have such a soft spot for both Ashley and Andrew as characters, because even though they’re flawed individuals, they both had a shitty upbringing and the world they live in is trash + it hates them. That’s why I want them to have a happy ending, after everything, they deserve some happiness for once. 🥲 🥲

Anyway, I also think these people have a hard time differentiating fiction from reality and that’s actually concerning to me. I’ve seen this type of behavior before but now it seems worse than ever, not just with TCOAAL but other forms of fictional media too. An example I can think of is when people will ship two costars in real life because they played lovers in a movie or TV show, to the point where they even talk shit about the actors real life partners. It’s so embarrassing to see. I also would not be shocked if one day people started saying we can’t make slasher films anymore because they “glorify” murder. The way some of these people act, they make it sound like if anything bad is portrayed in media that means it’s automatically being glorified or encouraged. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Now don’t get it twisted, I understand if someone simply isn’t a fan of the game, it’s not for everyone and I get that it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. I respect that. I just think it’s stupid af to go and harass fans of the game just because YOU don’t like it. Not to mention people attempting to dox Nemlei causing her to nuke all of her social media presence. I don’t blame her though because doxxing is scary. I’ve seen people say she deserved the attempted dox just because she created the game, so.. you’re angry over a fictional psychological horror game with fictional characters because it portrays bad things, but you support the attempted doxxing of a real person? Which could have been really dangerous for them… Alright. Lmao, like ok, yeah, you’re soooo morally superior to everyone else 😍. I do not understand their thought process.

Let me just share what I saw someone post about TCOAAL on Twitter tonight. This is what they said:

“its literally ashley manipulating andrew into just agreeing with the incestuous relationship that shes forcing onto him. if i remember correctly they literally have sex in the game.”

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. If someone has a take which involves Ashley solely being the problem and that Andrew is just a softy who can do no wrong and was forced to do everything he’s done, I discard their opinion because they don’t know what they’re talking about and are just seeing what they want to see 🤷🏻‍♀️. Mind you, Andrew is the one who has sexual feelings for Ashley, not the other way around. We know Ashley loves Andrew, but sex isn’t a big deal to her and if they never slept together she wouldn’t care. The way they haven’t even had sex in the game either, people love to say that lmao, it’s a vision and we don’t even see anything explicit, we just know what happened.

Not only do we have haters of the game blame Ashley for everything, but other fans of the game (Reddit community) do the exact same thing. It’s rough out here y’all. 😭 I need them to stop speaking about her immediately. 😂

Another reason I don’t take them seriously is because I can guarantee you they didn’t keep the same energy for Game of Thrones, House of the Dragons, or Flowers in the Attic. I’m sure there’s more, but those are the main examples I can think of. That’s another reason why I didn’t understand the controversy, they act like it’s the first time incest has ever been portrayed in fictional media??? Regardless though, I just don’t understand why people would get this worked up over something that’s not real. Andrew and Ashley are literally pixels on a screen, they aren’t real people. 💀

But the worst of all, I’ve seen people call TCOAAL pedophilic???????? Words used to mean things! I have no idea how someone could even get that from the game, Ashley is 20 and Andrew is 22, so? People just say anything.

Adding this in here even though this has been posted already, but now people are saying that Ashley groomed Andrew on Tik Tok….. I am tiredddd. 💀 These people will jump through literal hoops to try and prove that Andrew isn’t as bad as Ashley I cannot.

At the end of the day, anyone with common sense can differentiate fiction from reality and knows that what the game portrays is wrong in real life. I mean it’s a psychological horror game. Psychological horror focuses on mental, emotional, and psychological states to disturb and unsettle the viewers. I just feel like the hate for the game is so forced at this point.

Have you seen the posts going around saying shit like "If a mutual likes Hazbin Hotel I will block them"?? It's genuinely upsetting me tbh, not just the idea that people don't like the show, but that they despise it so much they can't even stand the thought of someone they know liking the show. It reminds me of the Steven Universe hate train only worse. They also say shit like "the show is just someone saying swear words and expecting you to laugh", and if for a second we put aside the fact that that is blatantly not true, what's wrong with that? I'm allowed to like something that's a bit trash, right? I've already seen two different people I follow reblog posts to that effect (and worse, someone saying all a character boils down to is "i love being sexually abused <3" and i don't know how they ever came to that conclusion) and it's driving me mad. And somehow I just know that they don't actually give a shit about any "controversies" surrounding vivziepop, that's just a convenient excuse for most of them. I don't even care if Vivzie is a bad person, that's none of my business. just live and let live, you know?

Rant away, friend! Luckily for me I haven't come across any of those posts yet. Plenty of discourse surrounding whether fans are allowed to make romantic and/or sexual content for Alastor, the expected shipping wars, and - as you say - vague references to Vivzie controversies (which I'm too new a fan to even be aware of yet)... but nothing that's a complete rejection of the show itself. That's probably because I've only engaged with blogs posting a lot of Hazbin content though.

I'm a big fan of old school Internet rules which includes an emphasis on cultivating your own online space. You know, the thing tumblr is explicitly designed for. So in theory I applaud anyone blocking users/tags for a show they're not a fan of. Performatively posting about it more as a way to guilt others for liking Hazbin at all... not so much. If you want to block something just block it. If you're mutuals with someone you both presumably like each others' content. Not all of it necessarily, but enough to have followed in the first place, and often being mutuals for long enough leads to friendship because you're both getting interacting with one another a lot. All of which isn't to say that people don't unfollow mutuals, or that you can't drop a mutual because they've started posting something you dislike. Obviously both situations do happen, but it feels like an extreme enough response that these posters probably aren't actually doing this very often. Most people will wait the mutual out until their interest gets hooked on something new, or block the Hazbin tag and keep the friend, or just block without making a big announcement about it. So posts like that feel more like a way to show off how much you dislike the show and guilt others for their enjoyment which yeah, can be upsetting to see. Especially when, as you say, it costs nothing to just let people like things.

Which might sound hypocritical on my part given my RWBY interests, but I think there's a big difference between critically examining a show while supporting others who genuinely love it, and simplistically blasting it. I COMPLETELY get why Hazbin wouldn't be to everyone's tastes and, like with the SU example, anything that gets popular enough is going to develop its haters (especially cartoons trying to tackle non-childish subjects. That's always going to be a fandom landmine). But if you're going to make claims about a show, at least watch it to ensure you can back up your stance? And if your takeaway is still, "This is the worst fucking thing I've ever watched"... cool. Go forth and write about that on your own, personal blog. But no one should be surprised when they're also blocked for bragging about how many Hazbin fans they've blocked.

umm does anon live in some alternative universe of army fandom where people are calling Yoonmin fanservice? Cause from my 4 yrs of experience what i know is tkkrs occupies around 80% of army fandom and #THEY love to call jkk fanservice and since they want jm to stay away from jk they ship him with yg like not even jkk posts get's so much like from armys the way yoonmin get's. the thing that irks me about yg is how easily he can praise jk and Th who are also maknaes but it takes special efforts for him to praise him. When someone tries to praise jm here comes my man yg saying "yeah but jungkook does it better", "yes but jm can you stop doing that", "yes but why did you have a guitar when you don't know how to play" , "yes but why were you getting emotional that wasn't the time" there's always a but when it comes to praising jm but see how effortlessly he does it for jk and TH. Can I just say I love how you can be somewhat critical about certain things about totk without completely and unnecessarily trashing it and even adding humor. I wish more people were like that.

Aw, thank you! I'm just trying to make sure folks feel safe to enjoy things here (as long as, yknow, the respect goes both ways).

I definitely used to be someone who would trash stuff unnecessarily, and I'll always credit a mutual (although I did forget their handle,,,I'm so sorry) I had at the time for just letting me go on a long rant about why something bothered me and went, "That sounds really personal, but that got nothing to do with this." And all at once I realized I'd been projecting my needs/wants/expectations onto other peoples work (commercial or otherwise), and holding strangers responsible for serving me, specifically! Which is an absurd thing to expect from anyone!!

And sometimes I still forget the world doesn't revolve around me, glorious me, and I have to go back and apologize and do my mental health homework to figure out why I reacted a certain way, and why I took something so personally. But it's been really helpful to try and do the homework first, or type that whole salty take up and delete it or draft and review it again in the morning, before you make a stranger (or a friend!) feel bad or unsafe with you for the crime of enjoying something you didn't (which I have done, many times, and feel very bad about).

Plus, I've learned that if you're someone who is always analyzing and critiquing things, those moments can be really good practice for (respectfully! privately! in your own space! not on that stranger's post! not in that poor dev's DMs!) considering what you might have done differently, assuming you had the same parameters and resources available. I find this is especially good practice if you plan on entering a creative field! I promise you get a lot more sympathetic with how things turn out when you force yourself to dream within a budget and a deadline.

(also being nice to professionals is good practice! Some of them are jerks, true, but 99% of devs artists designers directors etc are just doing their best under a ton of stress and pressure to make everyone happy, and they're usually really proud of what they're able to accomplish, and they are absolutely not getting paid enough to deal with the comment section)

Once you let go of that need to be Correct and have control over stuff that isn't about you, you end up having a lot more fun and a lot less limitations for playing in the sandbox, and with other creatives! Plus you learn about yourself, and what your priorities and tastes are. You become a better story teller and collaborator when you can not only find but actively look for the good in things you may have completely dismissed as a kneejerk reaction to not liking something about it.

And again, I'm definitely still an ass, a lot more often than I'd like to be. I still struggle with that need to be Correct and to have complete control over my sandbox. I still get defensive and have to navigate rejection sensitivity when someone's idea contradicts mine. I definitely understand the reactivity when something means a lot to us, and it takes practice to share when you're used to being protective! But it's so, so worth it.

You meet such amazing people and find such wonderful, supportive communities when you embrace two cake theory. I highly recommend making an effort to expand your perspective and be a part of that support.

Thank you for asking! Answers are for this post and I'm still taking asks if anyone else is interested! I've already answered one for Kaiba and would be happy to talk about my other faves. :)

I am going to call him Duke in this post if you don't mind. I'm dub trash and that's his name to me.

1. What Pokemon would you compare this character to? (may be replaced with "what Digimon" or other such monsters / critters if needed)

Ooof, this one was actually really hard! Duke is a pretty complex dude to me, and since there are no dice pokemon, there's no easy answer. The best source of inspiration would be his manga arc to see his core development, where his father was training him up to replace someone else and steal his destiny. As far as symbolism/themes surrounding him, we've got clowns, dice, ninjas, and revenge. I cannot for the life of me think of a single pokemon that really embodies who he is, either in terms of absolute pure canon OR the fleshed-out personality I've interpreted him into.

But what I can do is give you a pokemon team for him that captures some of the story and visual themes surrounding him: Greninja, Porygon, Mime Jr., Gimighoul, Yamask, Pawniard.

Greninja, Gimighoul, and Pawniard are included for the monsters he uses in DM and DDM. Mime Jr because he's literally the son of a clown and embraces a tiny bit of that aesthetic for himself. Porygon because he's a bit dicey-looking and his origins are pretty technical and scientific, something that I associate with Duke based on all the work that went into him creating DDM. Yamask because when he did approach Yugi and the gang at first (they approached him actually, but I digress), it was under false pretenses. Charm and deception are two sides of the same mask and this boy wears them both way too comfortably.

7. What might they appreciate as a gift from someone?

My answer for Kaiba on this one was long, so buckle in! With Kaiba's, I basically went through the different kinds of gifts that would be good for him and who would give them, so I'll do the same here, based off of the different ships/friendships I imagine for him.

Generally though, I think what Duke values in gifts is either the thought and effort that were put in (handmade stuff, or something basic but deeply meaningful) or the kind of gift that is activity-oriented (bro loves hanging out with his friends).

Ryou has a good few options. He's an artist and Duke has always been really supportive of that. He might make Duke some custom resin dice based on his Monster World characters, or custom resin dice earrings based on his Monster World characters. I think the best gift he would give Duke is a piece of art starring all their Monster World characters from the campaigns that Ryou runs, and the whole thing is set up like a fun movie posted. Duke would be so thrilled with it. He'd get that framed and insured and hang it where he'd get to show it off. In the end, it would be some work of art that integrates their shared interests/activities, which makes it especially personal.

Ishizu would, I think, give Duke a modern copy of the Ancient Egyptian game sennet, or maybe a different game that she might have grown up with. He enjoys a challenge and trying new things, and he would also appreciate that it's something personal from her life that she's trying to share with him. Plus, more games are more things to do with friends.

I think all of that could apply to Marik as well. I also think that Marik, as stylish as he is, might have a pretty good grasp on Duke's style and get him some accessories and new nail polish or makeup, stuff like that. (You can't tell me Duke doesn't wear makeup, just look at that eyeliner!)

Kaiba probably fumbles the first time he tries to give Duke a gift. Either it comes across as patronizing or too aggressive, or just somewhat off. Duke decides to take the time to explain that what he wants most from Kaiba is dedicated time with him, so planned vacation it is. Seto says he can take him anywhere in the world, and Duke doesn't care where they go, as long as he is the center of Kaiba's attention.

Hm, time for Joey. Now, here's the thing, I've got a few pretty different Joey's running around in my head, all at different levels of maturity, so bear with me. He might want to take him out to do something special or have dinner at a really nice restaurant—an experience instead of an object, and it's time spent together. When in doubt, or just as a backup, Joey will have some special intimacy planned as well, and that's consistent for whoever Joey is with.

12. What's a moment in canon regarding them that you feel is underappreciated?

Hnnnnnngg I just made a big long post recently with all my Duke Devlin propaganda, because honestly, I think most people do just see him as a pretty face, that guy who flirts with Serenity to piss off Tristan, and the guy who put Joey in a dog suit, and that's it, but he's so much more than that to me. I'll cover some little scenes here that I either think about a lot or that I think are generally forgotten until you go back and rewatch the show.

One moment I think about a lot is that two frames of him making stirfry in Season Four.

I don't think you'd believe how much of my understanding of Duke derives from that moment? I think about it way too much. He stepped up to cook for his friends, he handles that frying pan with confidence, and from that I think I extrapolated a lot of my more domestic/mundane headcanons for him (like how he always makes sure his partner/s are well-fed and looking after themselves, and that he's generally a pretty responsible guy, keeps his affairs in order, all that jazz).

Another great moment is in the KC Grand Prix Arc when Joey and Tristan step in front of a TV camera and are making fools of themselves and Duke just steps between them and the camera, showing his good side and smirking. I don't think he even says anything, and it's great. It's just a casual "the camera loves me, and you idiots need to stop making yourselves look ridiculous." (Couldn't find a screenshot or gif of this moment, sadly.)

I think the first time we see him in the anime is this scene where he's in an office or apartment above his game store and is just watching Yugi pass by (with unnamed sycophant next to him). It's an almost creepy moment, honestly, and it's the kind of thing that makes me toy with the idea of a full-villain version of Duke.

As far as the manga goes, I haven't read most of it (I got the first few volumes shortly before my recent move, and they're packed up somewhere still), but I know the gist of his manga arc. Yugioh is full of bad dads, and I think because his dad got cut out of the anime it's easy to forget that Duke's a member of the Domino Bad Dad Support Group as well.

below the cut is a " ( romantic ) shipping guide " for my muse , geto suguru . this involves anything i think is vital when being involved in a romantic relationship with him in any regard .

* this will involve talk of " satosugu / sugusato ' stsg " , so beware , but satoru plays a big part in suguru's life , that is inarguable , his relationships are founded on the relationship he cultivated between him & satoru fundamentally . & the falling out has affected how he views his relationships going forward .

a supportive partner doesn't begin to cover the kind of partner suguru geto is . as someone who born and raised on the protection of others' principal , he's either of some kind of service to his partner or he's not around . when he's doing missions for the tokyo technical college , he's no second rate -- one half of the strongest duo to exist in service to jujutsu tech . often tuned in to the emotions of others , he's going to know something is wrong way before you yourself do , and he takes pride in being capable of being on the same wavelength as his fellow students . duty before dishonor , he's an individualist with great care taken to lift up others . as for the timeline , of course it's easiest to ship with him during his school days , especially if your muse is satoru . more reckless with his other half , he still values himself in accordance with what exactly he can do to be of service to someone . this goes double for his friends , triple for his significant other . girls at the school often crush on him , but to this day , he'd turned them all down gently , in the most polite way possible , so no one leaves upset . justice is a high contributing factor to suguru , something he holds in high regard . again , he's long been raised under the ideal that he must serve others , that he's there to protect others , to act as a barrier between what he values and harm . this is why he continues to find , hunt , and consume curses . now , one of his favorite things is letting his friends hang out with his curses -- satoru , after all , rides on the rainbow dragon all the time . it lays its head on his legs , his curses are merely pets in everyday circumstances , and he values them , saying things like " thank you for your hard work " , when dismissing them . he is , after all , a beast - tamer . again , a lot of these things pertain to satoru , since satoru is his best friend , and someone suguru holds in the highest regard despite their bickering and whining about one another when someone's watching them .

after the loss to toji fushiguro / zen'in , suguru is unstable . he is overall paranoid , half of his curse reserves are dead , and that's what he spends a lot of his time doing now ; hunting new curses to digest and manifest , stronger , more disgusting , more heinous . so it's somewhat easy to catch him during that time dragging himself around , getting to the station or the bus to take it to wherever he needs to go . he won't let anyone come with him , he's uncomfortable , VASTLY uncomfortable with anyone seeing him digest a curse . it's a gross act , on par with eating trash , or vomit . he hates his technique . he hates that he was useless . he hates that his best friend died because he couldn't do a damn thing . a lot of bad emotions manifest here within the year following the mission , rage , disgust , hatred , spite . he hates it . the clapping won't leave his head . he can still hear it . why is he the only one bothered by what happened ?

students die . despite geto's best efforts to help , haibara yu , his kouhai , dies in a gruesome manner he can't even bear to look at . when this happens , he begins to think more and more -- oh god , everyone is at risk , everyone's disposable , and i can't protect anyone . satoru doesn't need me anymore . shoko's busy . i failed nanami & haibara , what am i doing here ? why am i alive ? i don't deserve to be alive .

once he's free of jujutsu technical college , well , his mental health does get eons better . he spends a lot of his time with nanako and mimiko , that includes going to their school events and spending time with them as they do their homework -- dinner , bed , all the more routine things he's long since forgotten about since he was small . he doesn't mind it , it's terribly routine though , and it helps him relax , knowing what to expect every afternoon and evening . if he has a significant other by this point , fully expect to be introduced to his two girls ! he wants to know what they'll think of you , whether or not you interact well with them , and he's keen to also see how you interact with the followers of the cult and the normal people who come in seeking treatment for ' spiritual ailments ' . a partner , in other words , is what suguru is seeking . someone that will help him take good care of the girls as they grow up , someone level headed , that can see he's merely protecting what he finds important to him now . he doesn't hate jujutsu tech , nor anyone involved with it , he simply hates how easily they can stand to sentence people to death ..... especially children , young people who have their whole lives ahead of them . he hates it with everything inside of him . and he can't stop them , so he broke away from them while he still had something left to save .

he's relying on the donations of his followers , somewhat , so he doesn't tend to dabble in the expensive side of dating or living his life . he's a simple ' monk ' , spending his time around the temple as needed , and spending his time with his new family that we see in jjk 0 , who also believe in his ideals and his goals . he's not forcing anyone to believe what they don't want to , and he makes sure everyone understands that he's not forcing anyone into anything they do not wish to be involved in . because of that , there's a silent agreement among his family that they're all there because they believe in suguru geto's vision for jujutsu society , a place where children aren't sacrificed , where people don't have to die needlessly . peaceful , tranquil , livable . that , and ... the ' monkeys ', the non - shaman ... they're a threat to that peace. he's going to save this fucked up , shitty world that they've created . one day , he'll find a way . he will , he swears . he'll help everyone . one day . it's okay if he's hated by everyone as long as ... he's quite open about seeing those from jujutsu tokyo tech & kyoto tech , if need be . he's a haven , he'll listen and talk , offer his view on things as its asked . he truly does love his children and his family, and those he left behind too , if only they could understand that ... he may not go about seeing his significant other too much in public though . just in case the higher ups zero in on them . it's safe to say that in order to get anywhere with suguru , you need to be on par with him , at least , or a sorcerer yourself for a variety of reasons .

here's my honest opinion on vmk's bond in the past few years.

i'll start with taekook rekindling their bromance in ITS1, with jimin's help. i feel like after the years they spent distant (maybe because of tae's mental health making him close off and maybe because of his friend circle outside of bts), jungkook got used to not being close to taehyung as they used and he was okay with it. but taehyung fixed his bond with jimin and genuinely wanted to do the same with jk, but couldn't without jimin's help, that's why jimin tricked (lol) jk into going out and having that conversation with tae.

ok, so they fixed their friendship, and they both definitely know that they're a popular duo within and outside of the fandom, and tae loves giving armys what they want as long as it's appropriate for him to do, he's also mischievous and likes wreaking havoc and enjoys causing a stir in the fandom that involves his name.

armys love taekook, (as a ship or a unit it doesn't matter) and tae loves jk (as his best(?) friend) so he wants them both to be the power duo armys want them to be, and that can be done simply by giving armys taekook selcas, a song (probably 🔜), tidbits of harmless information, and skinship. normal stuff that idols do for fan service.

and please, know what fan service is before you jump me, im not saying tkk aren't close, they are. all of bts do fan service to capitalize on their already existing bonds. but let's continue.

tkkrs are jimin antis. idk if tae knows that, but jimin definitely does and probably jk does too. so jimin started mentioning jungkook less because those mfs always cause a scene whenever he does. and tae, well he knows his audience and knows what they want. i don't think he has any bad intentions but he figures since him and jk are friends anyway, and his fans love to hear about jk or seeing tae with him, he wants to give them what they want. as any artist who loves their fans wants to do.

but since taehyung and jennie's relationship has been outed, taehyung uses taekookers to pull the attention away from himself and jennie onto him and jungkook instead. by singling out jungkook, mentioning him a lot, replying to posts about him, making jk join him on Instagram live, posting pictures/videos of them, updating armys about jungkook, promising army to do a karaoke live with jk, and actually starting a live from jk's home a minute before leaving to let armys know that they hung out.

now jimin isn't stupid, he knows why taehyung does what he does, and it involves jungkook too, who doesn't really get hated on like jimin does because he's been basically put under taehyung's wing. so every time taehyung feeds the fans who love him and jungkook, he—unintentionally—brings jimin hate in the process, and makes himself look closer to jungkook than jimin, something that jimin can't fight back since he decided to keep his bond with jungkook a private matter.

jungkook doesn't get hated on like jimin when there's jikookery involved, so he took matters into his own hands instead since jimin can't. and believe me when i say, jungkook LOVES bragging about his jimin rights lol. jikookery used to come from jimin's side, selcas, updates, you name it. and jungkook was happy with that, but since jimin can't do it anymore without getting trashed for it, jungkook does it instead. because the man won't just sit aside and let people (especially tkkrs, whom he doesn't like or fuck with) think he doesn't care about jimin. he obviously can't tell us that they hang out, because that's not his decision alone, and jimin doesn't want to. but he can at least share his love and support, no? and so he does.

in conclusion, jimin probably doesn't like taehyung's antics, but he isn't letting the hate get to him anyway so he lets taehyung do his thing since he's a grown man who knows what's best for him, and if tae decided to play with the cult who hates his friend, jimin won't stop him, but he'll put up barriers between them. and jk probably doesn't mind tae using him for taekookery as long as jk gets to combat it with jikookery from his side lol. if someday jk can't combat tae's attempts at taekookery wth jikookery anymore, best believe he'll put an end to the taekook shop once and for all. that man does NAWWTTT play with tkkrs at ALLLL.

Anways! Here is some art I recently made! I’m a super big Yakuza fan, especially of their latest game “Like a dragon”. I “fell in love” with the games new protagonist, Ichiban, and got really tempted to draw some oc x canon. 😭💕One thing you should know about me is I’m super big on the oc x canon community. I’m really supportive of other peoples ships and they make me feel more comfortable about having my own. So be prepared to get a lot of support from me if you have an oc you ship with a canon character too! We oc x canoners stick together!>:) 💕(especially Yakuza ones because I’m OBSESSED *screams*)

Anyways…. ( I need to stop saying Anways so much and expand my vocabulary!! GRRRR. ) Here’s some information about the random “girl” I just had to ship with our beloved Ichiban Kasuga. Yume is the type of girl who… idk how to explain it.. the type of girl who doesn’t have a type. She’s unexplainable. There I said it. She’s unpredictable, Erratic, pretty horny, Violent, Cocky. She’s a HUGE flirt… a horrible one too. She makes everyone uncomfortable with her over the top sexual comments. She grew up with a ton of men and they insisted on teaching her their roots, so hence the reason she kinda flirts like a F Boy. (I mean half the time it works but on the other hand…… nah. The men she hits on are concerned. ) If I had to compare her personality to anyone in the Yakuza game series she would probably be the most similar to Nishitani.

- Yume usually fights with machetes, her go to weapon. She usually uses them for her more… “extreme fights”. When she just wants to give some one a good beating she’ll just pull out her brass knuckles and go crazy.

- She has a soft spot for children. She hates teenagers tho. Thinks they are the scum of the earth.

- Has a pet possum named Lulu at home. Literally she found the possum in her back yard digging through her trash and was like… “ Yep, you’re mine now.” and just took her in like that.

-Yume was a noncommittal person before she met Ichiban. She quickly fell in love with his bright and heroic personality and realized how attracted she was to him. Eventually she made the first move… by asking him to… “slay her dragon.” Obviously he didn’t get what she meant so she asked him on a movie date instead. Ichiban fell asleep on her shoulder. 😔👌💕

Okay so life had been pretty hectic lately but I've finally been given a break-that lasts until tomorrow but still a break. So I got around reading Joan's and Cami's chapter and what do you know, I absolutely loved them! And Cami, she is in fact a bitch but it suits her so we love her. Some anti-shippers sometime act like they’re kind-heart ‘feminists’ who have to raise their voice to protect ‘people’ from being sexualized by those cis men and trash fujoshis.

What they usually say is : letting problematic ships or sexualization of fictional characters exist will lead to normalization of sexualizing and fetishizing real people, especially women, kids, and LGBTQ+, which will eventually lead to normalization of sexual crime against vulnerable persons.

Some of them label themselves as ‘feminist’ and while still conducting their anti-ship or anti-fujo operation : Spreading misinformation about the ship culture, and criminalize shippers.

They has been causing the misunderstanding to the outsiders, who usually don’t understand any shit in fandoms but have already be the fans of their ‘feminism movement’. The followers who have admired them for their brave movement for a while may easily adopt their ideal and help spreading it.

If the outsiders are teens or college student in their 20+ who need to raise themselves up to the spotlight by judging other people who are ‘wrong’ according to what their feminist senpai say, that’s when the hazard begin.

second, i agree with your opinions a lot! stancy didn't sit right with me, mostly because i felt that them getting back together would throw their character growth into the trash. they both grew from who they were, and as a part of that it became clear that they're not working out together? Yeah I agree! It feels like it worked for a bit when it did but they were both in such different places. Not to say that it couldn’t work when you both change as people, but I personally don’t see it working for them.

And yeah the going back and forth between boys just annoys me in general. There are too many shows that write women like this, and it doesn’t feel like they have an ounce of self worth in most cases. Nancy is such a wonderful character, she goes against the stream and she does it with grace! It will be good for her to focus on herself.

As for Steve, same thing actually. I’m afraid that if he jumps back in a relationship he’s gonna ignore his own well-being in favor of his partner, especially if that partner happens to be Nancy. Because no matter how you look at it, he would try to make up for lost time while he has sooo many other things to work through himself first. He needs support, yes, but not in the form of a girlfriend.
