etc: look i’m not saying i’m obsessed with druig but i’m also not saying i’m NOT obsessed. will i let this man consume me and be all i talk about for months? absolutely. and this little idea wouldn’t leave my head hours after seeing the movie so it’s probably not the best, but i just need more of this man in my life ok!
“I can’t–” your voice is hoarse from moaning, pleading, whining. You try to form a coherent sentence but only fragments are able to process in your mind and slip out from your wet swollen lips. Your body burns from sensitivity and pleasure that only seems to build more and more with each time you cum. Each time he fucks up into you. Each time you feel that beautiful haze in your mind.
And you’ve lost count as to how many times you’ve been thrown over the precipice. How many times you’ve begged and pleaded that you couldn’t cum anymore, even when the pleasure never seems to end, never seems to stop building. And Druig loves it. Loves to fill your mind with nothing but him, nothing but pleasure and a demand for you to keep cumming until you’re begging him to let up, or for more. The only sounds in the room coming for your aching throat, the squelch of your soaked cunt and the slap from his hips as he fucks you harder.
His hands are on either side of your head, his fingers digging into your hair as he holds you there, bending you so your foreheads are pressed together. His hips thrusting up into you sharp, harsh, fast. “Oh, I know you can take more.” He grins pounds into you harder, swallows down your moan when he kisses you devouring your mouth and moans as he doesn’t let up. Makes your already fucked out canal take more, he wants you to feel it tomorrow, the next day, after that. He wants you so sensitive that when you move all you can think about is him.
“Cant,” you breathe, whimper. “Too much, please, Druig.” His soft chuckle sends a flutter through you, pools in your belly at his cruelty that you love so much. You know all you’d have to do is whisper those two words and this would all be over. He would stop, wrap you up, help you come down, there would be no hesitation. But the two of you get some sick satisfaction at seeing how many times Druig can make you cum untouched by his everything but his mind. And even with your body shaking and the wetness coating your thighs, your throat raw and burning with each moan. Part of you still wants more. Wants to feel even more pleasure. Your core burning so deliciously from his relentlessness, from how many times you’ve tightened and fluttered around his thick cock.
“You can do one more, I know you can.” Druig’s breath is hot against your lips, as he stares up at you, “you’ve been so good, you can do one more for me right?” He’s slowed his thrusts just slightly, if only to allow you to focus on his words, to give you the slightest of breaks before he goes back to pounding into you leaving you a whimpering mess again. One of his hands runs down your neck, thumb skating across your jaw and lifting your chin separating your foreheads so the two of you can properly look at each other. And you’re so beautiful like this he thinks; cheeks warm and tinted with heat and lust, eyes heavy from exhaustion. Your mouth swollen and coated from the two of you. He’s done this to you, made you a fucked out mess all because of his cock and mind, and fuck he loves it. “Do you want to stop, hmm?” He runs his thumb along your bottom lip, “we can stop, pretty girl.”
The over sensitive part of your body and mind is screaming yes, but the slow drag of his cock thrusting up into you, the languid gentle motion rebuilding that mountain of pleasure inside that’s begging for more. To reach, to jump off of, to let Druig make you cum again and again until you really can’t take anymore. Fuck you until neither of you know anything but this feeling, but this heat and pleasure shared together.
So you shake your head, whimper a soft ‘no’ that makes Druig smirk, pull your lips to his in a passionate kiss full of tongue, and teeth and moans. “Good girl.” The praise alone makes you whimper, but as you feel his thrusts pick back up, his hand going to your hip to push you down as he thrusts up. Your over sensitive core burning and begging for more. Your moans loud and incoherent. Your nails digging into his chest, your back arching slightly when you feel the palm of his hand make contact with your ass cheek in a hard slap. The deep groan Druig let’s out against your lips makes your stomach flutter. “My pretty girl, look at me.” You do, your body bracing to go over that precipice, to feel that deep bone shattering pleasure. To see his eyes glow that beautiful gold before all you can see is him, Druig, all you can feel is him in every fiber of your nerve endings. Your mind body and soul being flooded and taken over by him, his pleasures, his desires. Sending you through an euphoric bliss that even when it’s too much it’s not enough.
And when he does it your body freezes, trembles, shakes, your mind filled with that beautiful haze, every fiber of you letting him take over, letting him control you so willingly. Until your vision clears and you’re meeting Druig’s gaze, moaning and shaking as your orgasm rolls through you and he fucks into you while you clench and grip onto his cock. “That’s my girl, good, so good.” He groans, the warmth of his palm on your cheek grounds you. Druig watches your mouth hang open, eyes go from his golden hold to your beautiful ones. Watches your body tremble and wither above him, your cunt flutter and clench against his cock making him thrust faster, harder, until he’s finishing seconds after you. Praises on his lips, kisses and teeth pressed to your lips, shoulder, any flesh he can reach. Any part of you he can touch and consume.
Your body slumps over to rest on his chest, exhaustion completely taking you out. The after effects from another orgasm burning hot and white through your body and core. The two of you catching your breath, Druig running his fingers along your back, pressing soft kisses to your temple. “Think you broke your record.” He teases.

You laughed as Druig’s body pressed against yours, gently shoving you into the wall behind the both of you.
“Do you think it’s funny?” He asked, the smirk on his face evident that even he thought it was amusing.
“I don't know what you’re talking about.” You said, feigning ignorance.
However, of course you knew what he was talking about. Your husband was completely soaking wet, even with water droplets from his bangs dripping down onto your forehead as he stood above you. His clothes were drenched and his hands so slippery, he had a hard time pinning them to the wall behind you. It would be impossible not to know what he was talking about even if you weren’t the one who caused it.
“Oh you don’t know, do you?” He asked, leaning in closer. “Just so happens my own personal rain cloud was following me around all day, right?”
You looked at him and shrugged.
“You looked grumpy.”
“And you thought that would fix it?”
“No,” You smiled. “But I know what will.”
Before Druig had another chance to speak, you placed your hands against his clothed, soaking wet chest and leaned into him, pressing your lips against his.
Even without your eyes open, you could tell he was smiling.
Then you heard them.
“Oh my gosh that’s disgusting!” You distinctively heard Kingo exclaim amongst the chorus of groans from the others.
This wasn’t uncommon- this had been going on since Druig and you had first gotten caught together by them centuries ago thus exposing your relationship. Though long ago you used to grow embarrassed under their teasing and vocal disapproval, it had been such a long time since, that you had stopped caring what they thought all together. Druig on the other hand used to tease you about it frequently, often flirting with you in front of them just to get a rise out of them and you.
However, all the time apart seemed to have an effect on him as Druig pulled away from your lips and a light blush coated his cheeks. As much as Druig liked to play things cool and act as though nothing bothered him, you could tell he was flustered.
It was almost entertaining.
“Oh please,” You said, purposely leaving your hands on your partner’s chest. “Did you guys get soft the past few hundred years or something? Haven’t you seen people kiss?”
“Yeah, people,” Sprite argued. “Not you and... whatever Druig is. He’s like a walking nightmare.”
Although you knew thousands of years came with bitterness between members of your group- especially Druig as he wasn’t so… cheerful- you had always hated the brutal teasing they inflicted on your husband, knowing that sometimes names like that could cut deep.
Without even realizing it, the sky above you had turned gray, the clouds that had once grazed the beautiful blue sky becoming one gloomy mess.
Hearing the grumble within the clouds, sure that it would start pouring any minute, Druig looked up at the sky and back down to you.
Leaning in, he placed one hand on your back and rubbed gentle circles against your clothed skin before connecting his mind with yours.
“It’s okay,” he thought. “Don’t mind them. I’ve already got rained on enough for the day.”
Hearing his soothing voice in your mind, you glanced up and saw the cloudy skies before looking back at Druig and nodding. You closed your eyes and before you knew it, the sky was back to allowing the sun’s rays to pour through the trees without a rain cloud in the sky.
“Why are you all here anyway?” You asked, turning your attention back to the rest of the eternals.
“It’s a long story.” Sersi replied.
As you crossed your arms, you shrugged.
“We’ve got time.”
“You’re going to want to sit down for this.” Ikaris said.
Though your husband had nearly always had a problem with him and vice versa, you had always gotten along with your fellow eternals, being open-minded and able to see from several different points of view. So, as you looked up at them, and especially Sersi and Ikaris and noted the sincerity on their faces, you understood the situation may have been more serious than you originally thought.
You glanced back at Druig worried and although you could both communicate with your minds, you had known each other so long that you could communicate with your eyes wordlessly as well.
Matching your expression and understanding the two of you were on the same page, Druig looked back at the eternals and nodded.
“Come inside then.” Druig said, not allowing his concern to show through to others. “Make yourself at home.”
Guiding them in direction of the building from behind, Druig stopped short before he stepped through the doors, gripping your own arm to stop you.
“Uh uh.” He said, holding you back. “You’re not going in until you fix the mess you’ve made.”
“And what’s that?” You asked, facing him.
Druig said nothing, only tilted his said to the side and stared at you blankly.
That’s when his dripping hair and soaking wet clothes caught your attention again.
“Oh!” You laughed, nudging off his grip on your arm. “Sorry, my love, I forgot.”
Leaning forward, you rested your own hands against his arms and stepped towards him, pressing your lips against his.
As you did, a gust of wind blew through the both of you, drying your husband instantly as you kissed him softly and brushed your hands up and down against the clothed skin of his arms.
No matter how many times you did that, Druig would never get over it. He was almost too embarrassed to admit that every time you did it, his heart began racing in his chest and he grew a little bit dizzy. No matter how headstrong Druig wanted to appear to be in front of the other eternals, he would always melt for you.
He almost welcomed your teasing rain clouds over his head, because he knew this moment would follow. These moments brought the warmth of a thousand suns that would make up for hundreds of rain clouds and he adored every second of it.
Through thousands of years, he enjoyed every second of you.
“Better?” You asked as you pulled away and smiled up at him.
Druig only smiled.

warning: secret relationship, established relationship, fluff, family time with the eternals. i know kingo, sersi and sprite weren't in that last scene but i do what i want.
The early morning wind blew through the windows of Ajak's home, the stormy skies of South Dakota stretching far and wide beyond the large windows of the old house.
With what seemed like a herculean effort, you managed to sneak out of bed and out of your lover's arms. A few centuries - give or take - of practice hadn't been able to teach you how to leave him just yet. Be it leaving the small bed you two shared, tangled under the comforter, pressed together as if you were one, or watching him leave down the stairs of the Pyramid of the Sun. It was never easy.
It was also hard to have to stay away even when you were in the room. Unlike Sersi and Ikaris, you were never open with your affections in front of the others. It seemed like the right thing to do, one less distraction to worry about. You made that decision together, sitting at the top of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, overlooking the city, gazing at the stars of the clear night sky - you remember that night as clearly as if it had happened yesterday.
Stolen glances and fleeting touches, borrowed moments during the day, hiding behind walls and little white lies and poorly made excuses, were all you had. At night, you sneaked into each other's quarters, much like you had done the night before, after everyone had already been asleep.
You missed the warmth of Druig's body, but you missed your dose of morning coffee just a little more that day. It was an incredibly human habit, one that you'd picked up over the past century. It seemed silly, since the caffeine had no effect on your body, but a warm cup of freshly brewed coffee had become a necessity.
The smell of breakfast hit you as soon as you left the bedroom, padding barefooted through the hallway, rubbing the sleep still lingering in your eyes. It was still early, but there was already a litany of voices coming from the kitchen. As you entered the open space downstairs, a soft smile grew on your lips despite your still sleepy state.
After many lifetimes, seeing your family all together in the same space filled your heart with love. While Phastos and Ben took care of little Jack's breakfast, Sersi and Makkari were deep in conversation about something your sleep-addled brain couldn't quite catch yet. Thena's cunning eyes watched it all from her place at the table, and Kingo and Sprite's bickering didn't seem to slow down, not even while they ate.
That chaos was peace to you.
You greeted them all with a simple "Morning" mumbled under your breath, voice raspy from disuse. As they answered, your back was already turned to the group, going straight for the coffee machine on the counter, filling a ceramic mug with the warm drink. Before you could take that sacred, first sip of the day, you heard Sersi's voice calling for you.
"Is that shirt yours, Y/N?"
Confused, you turned around slowly, looking down at yourself. Holding your coffee mug in one hand, you ran the other over the fabric of the black shirt you were wearing - Druig's shirt. When you realized what she was implying, you felt the heat taking over your face, warming your cheeks with a raging intensity.
"Uh, yeah." You attempted to lie. "Jus' an old shirt."
"I think I've seen this one before too." Kingo barges in, a comedic lift on his eyebrow. "Not too long ago."
"What's all this fuss about a shirt?" Phastos said without looking up from the toast he was making. When he did look, he adjusted his glasses, and you could see the dawn of a realization in his expression. An unimpressed "Oh." was all you heard, then.
There was something about the conspiratory mood amongst your oldest friends that you did not like. Thena let out a laugh, which she tried to conceal once you furrowed your eyebrows at her.
"I have no idea what you're all going on about." You complained, but deep down you were scared of what they were trying to do. "It's literally just a sh…"
"Has anyone seen my…"
All eyes turned to the kitchen's entryway, where Druig was just standing, shirtless. His hair was everywhere, face still a little crumpled with sleep, blue eyes hazy. He seemed to have almost immediately understood what was happening, because he looked just as you - a deer in the headlights.
You barely had time to exchange a look when you heard Kingo say "Ah, yes. That's where we've seen that shirt before."
Hiding your face with your hands, after placing your mug of increasingly colder coffee on the counter once more, you had no idea what to say, or how to face the truth. They had finally figured you out.
It was about time, though.
Druig was faster than you. "Is it that obvious?"
"You're all stupid." Sprite called out, not stopping eating her cereal. "She was always wearing his tunics back in the day, all of her clothes smelled like him. How could we not know?"
"Not all of us have all of your free time." Phastos countered, and then pointed at your boyfriend. "And, please, go put on a shirt. Not everyone here is your girlfriend."
As the conversation and the laughter erupted, you watched as Sersi mouthed a well-humored "I'm happy for you!" at you and Druig, who approached you slowly, a gentle smile on his face, lightening his features. Without restraints, you smiled back.
"Seems like I just lost another one."
"Are you sure you don't want it back?" You teased. Druig reached for your shoulder, running his hand gently down your arm, his touch leaving goosebumps in his wake, and finally landing on your hand, which he took on his own.
"You look better in it than I ever did, anyway." He complimented, with a look in his eyes that was reserved just for you. Always you.
Relishing in your newfound freedom, he pulled you in, and you immediately hid your face in his chest. Chuckling, he whispered, "Good morning, dove."
And over all the teasing and groaning from the other Eternals in the room, you looked at Druig with a little more than love in your eyes, something akin to hope, filled with expectation, eyes searching for his own. Reflected in his blue irises, the future seemed promising.
Instead of spilling all that was threatening to consume you whole - all of those years of barely concealed, hidden adoration in silence - you answered back.

a/n || FIRST OF ALL THIS MF GIF WHAT- also, i got this idea from a tiktok haha.
WITH THE FAMILY staying at the wonderful new house you and Druig bought together, everything was hectic. Sprite would be running around the house, Kingo chasing after her, while Sersi and Ikaris would bring food over at unannounced times.
You loved your family, but there were instances where you wish you had alone time with your husband, Druig. There were multiple occurances where you almost had it, but it would be interrupted by one of your family members.
Today, Druig invited you out for a picnic date, something he never did, nor would think of doing, but when it came to you, he would do anything for that smile on your face to become evident.
Your room was torn to shreds as you tried to find your favorite top you desperately wanted to wear for this occasion. Even though you wouldn't mind going on this date in sweats and a sweater, you really wanted to find the top, your mind not focused on anything else.
Unfortunately, since your mind was so preoccupied with finding your clothes, you didn't hear your door open. As you turned around, your head lifted up to see Thena at the door. She didn't know you were in the room either, hearing the small gasp that escaped her mouth when she saw you partly undressed in the room.
"Oh, Y/n, I'm so sorry, I didn't know you were in here. I was just looking for something ." Letting out a stifled laugh, your shoulders eased, not caring if Thena saw your body.
You trust everyone in your family, yes, but Thena was the one person you would always talk to whether it was for advice or just in general, so the two of you were closer than sisters.
"It's okay, T. Just startled me a bit." Thena walked into the room further and sat down on the velvet couch next to the door.
"So why is this room look like Kingo's bedroom?" You laughed at Thena's question, knowing this is exactly what Kingo's room would look like.
"I'm trying to find this one top for me and Druig's date. I usually wouldn't care this much, but now that I'm determined to find it." Thena let out a smile, something she loved to see. You noticed she was lost in thought, making you tilt your head slightly.
"I remember the days when you and Druig wouldn't even look at each other. I told Gil that we should make a bet to see if you two would fall in love, and I see I was indeed correct." Your mouth gaped open slightly, not aware of this bet.
"Wait, did you really do that?" Thena nodded her head and the room was filled with laughter soon after.
"The two of you are a beautiful couple. I hope you have fun on your date, darling." Thena kissed the top of your forehead before walking out of the door. As you were about to lock the door to your room, you got distracted once again as you heard your phone chime.
It was Phastos, asking to see if you could babysit Jack, but once you sent the text, your mind wandered off, completely forgetting about the door, again.
You took off your pants now, leaving you only in your bra and underwear, finally accepting the fact that your shirt probably is gone forever, so you decided to wear a floral dress instead.
Hearing the door open again, you attempted to cover a majority of your body, but when you saw it was Druig, your heart eased slightly, knowing he has seen a lot more than just you in your bra and underwear.
"Oh, it's just you." Druig walked into your room, locking it afterward as he traced your body up and down, biting his lips lightly.
"Well is that how you treat your husband now?" His voice was filled with tease. Turning around, you bumped chests with Druig, his body radiating his warmth off on you with his hands now wrapping around your waist.
"You're not the first one who walked in on me changing." Druig furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, concern laced in them as well. You saw his eagerness for explanations and you answered them before he could ask.
"Thena walked in on me changing right before you walked in so you're not the only lucky one who got to see this," you said, getting to your body with a smile.
Your face was subconsciously leaning in closer to Druig's, his sapphire eyes staring into yours. Druig's impatience took over his body as he smashed his lips on yours, the feeling of butterflies flying in your stomach. With his heart rate beating faster, Druig started to take off his shirt, you help him in the process.
As the kiss started to get more heated, Druig picked you up, not breaking apart with your lips. He threw you on the bed, your lips still in sync, his hands pinning your wrists slightly. Druig started to place small kisses on your neck, a soft moan escaping your mouth, knowing where your favorite places were.
Stopping his sweet kisses reluctantly, he stared into your eyes, and his adorable smile was plastered on his face.
"You're absolutely beautiful, my love." With that, Druig kissed you rougher this time, attempting to pin you down for dominance. But that didn't work as your body was now on top of his, you sitting on his private.
"That's not going to work, honey," you said in a mischievous voice. Druig's eyes widened in interest and lust, you kissing him once again.
At this point, the two of you would've completely forgotten about your date if it wasn't for someone knocking at your door, Druig groaning from annoyance.
"Stop making out and go get ready for your date, lovebirds. Don't worry, we'll definitely take care of the house," Kingo's voice was heard from the other side of the door.
You laid your head on Druig's bare chest, laughing slightly at your family.
"Come on love, let's spend more time together...without any distractions," Druig intentionally raised his voice at the last part of his sentence so Kingo could hear.
Once you heard footsteps receding on the other side of the door, you finally put on your dress as Druig put on his shirt then his leather jacket. He walked up to you and placed a gentle kiss on your lips.
"My beautiful, beautiful, Y/n. Words can't explain how in love I am with you." Stroking his cheek with your hand, you leaned in and kissed him once more, a smile on his face as if he was a kid on Christmas day.
"I love you more, my sweet Dru."
“awww, jealous?” with druig?
A/N: This ended up much longer than I'd intended for it to be. I'd wanted it to be a cute, short drabble and then it ended up being somewhat angsty and over 1000 words... but anyway. I hope you enjoy!
Druig had this habit of sneaking up on you when you least expected it. You could be sitting anywhere and he’d come up behind you and rest his head on your shoulder. Even after all these years, he still enjoyed the way you’d startle in surprise at his appearance, as if it was always the first time.
You’d thought it was just your thing. That he did it with you alone, since you’d never seen him do it with anyone else. He wasn’t an affectionate person in public, not even around the other Eternals, but he made exceptions for you. For this one, small thing he did. This habit of his.
What you didn’t know, however, was that Druig had been doing it as a hint for hundreds of years now. Trying to hint to you that he liked you, so he wouldn’t have to say it out loud. And he was getting bored of waiting for you to come to your senses and realise what it meant.
Hence the reason why he’d started doing it with others.
You’d been sitting in the Domo, eyes focused on the pages of a book in front of you, when you noticed him enter the room and make a beeline for Makkari. He attempted to sneak up behind her and rest his chin on her shoulder, but she’d felt him coming and moved out of the way just as his chin was about to land, causing him to awkwardly jerk downwards and then stand up, flustered.
She’d outsmarted him, and yet you couldn’t even smile at the fact, because a strange feeling had begun to curl in your stomach at the sight of Druig taking the thing you’d thought was yours and doing it with someone else.
Quietly, you’d excused yourself from the room, thinking no one would notice.
Druig, however, watched you leave, frowning.
Days passed without him sneaking up on you. You witnessed him trying to sneak up on Makkari several more times, all when you were in the room, and it felt like he was mad at you for some reason you didn’t understand. What had you done? Why would he be distancing himself like this if you hadn’t done anything? But what?
Everyone noticed that you were a little quieter than usual that week. Thena was worried, even pulling you aside once to ask what was wrong. You’d insisted it was nothing, you were just having a bad week. Missing home.
No one noticed more than Druig, though. His plan was backfiring.
Instead of you seeing him being affectionate with Makkari and confronting him about it, your jealousy becoming too strong to let him keep getting away with it (which had been his plan), you were taking a step away from him.
At dinner, nearly two weeks after hed started his plan, Druig settled down into the seat beside you while the others talked and danced with the humans in the small bar you were in.
“You all right, love?” He glanced over at you.
Briefly, you glanced at him. Long enough to see the worry in his eyes. “I’m fine.”
Druig shook his head. “You’re lying. C’mon, talk to me.”
Why are you distancing yourself? Why haven’t you spoken to me in weeks? Those were the questions he wanted to hear you answer. Why don’t you care that I’m trying to make you jealous so you can see that I’m in love with you?
You answered none of them.
Arms crossed over your chest, you ignored him.
He nudged you gently. “Love, come on. Just–”
“Just go, okay?” You raised your voice a little too loud. “Go find Makkari or someone else to bother. I’m clearly not worth your time, as you’ve shown.”
Druig sat up straighter, eyebrows furrowed. He hadn’t expected an outburst from you. But you’d noticed – you’d noticed that he’d been spending time with Makkari. Not in the way he’d wanted you to notice, but still.
“Druig, please go.”
He shook his head. “Are you jealous?”
You met his eyes. “Why would I be jealous?”
His lips twisted up into a smile. “Aww, you are jealous.”
With a huff, you stood up from the chair and walked away from him, weaving your way through the few people dancing and heading towards the door where you could get some fresh air. The environment inside was clearly messing with your head. And Druig’s, too.
Jealous? You… of course you were jealous. How could you not be? You were jealous and hurt and angry and disappointed, and mad at yourself, too.
You stopped outside and stood staring out at the mountains in the distance. The night was cool, but not uncomfortably so, and the difference in the temperature calmed you down considerably.
Maybe you should go, you thought. Just leave, distance yourself properly from them. If your bad mood kept up, surely it would cause more harm than good, right? But… how could you leave the only family you’d ever known? You sighed, squeezing your eyes shut tight and letting out a deep breath.
You hadn’t noticed the door creaking open behind you, or Druig slowly walking up behind you. It was only when his chin rested on your shoulder that you realised, your body tensing up at the sudden surprise of his appearance.
“Wanna lie about how you’re not jealous again?” His voice was quiet in your ear.
You kept your eyes closed. “Wanna tell me what I did wrong to make you start acting this way?” Your words were just as quiet as his, even though there was no one else outside to be hiding your conversation from.
Druig frowned, yet kept his head on your shoulder. “What you did wrong? Love, you’ve done nothing wrong.”
“Your actions lately disagree.”
He smiled to himself. “My actions have been an attempt to make you feel the way you said you don’t feel. Jealous.”
You spun around, knocking his chin off of your shoulder and forcing him to stand upright as you faced him. “What? Why would you be trying to make me feel jealous?”
“Did it work?” His eyes looked mischievous.
“This is not the point, Druig.”
“It’s literally the entire point.”
You stared at him, and he stared at you in return. Neither of you spoke. The wind rustled the leaves on the trees, the branches creaked a little in the breeze. You could hear the music coming from inside the bar, muffled by the walls.
He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. “Fine,” he began. “How have you not noticed that I’ve been in love with you for the past eight hundred years? That’s why I was doing our thing with Makkari. Trying to make you jealous so I didn’t have to say it.”
You blinked. “You– what?”
“I’m not saying it again, so you better have been listening the first time.”
“You’re in– in love? With–”
“Yes, with you.” Druig stepped forward, a hand reaching up to cup your cheek as he leant in and pressed his lips gently to your forehead. “Now, will you come inside and dance with me so we don’t have to have this whole awkward conversation? I think I got the point across, did I not?”
He pulled away just to see a smile beginning to form on your face.
“There we go,” Druig’s voice was filled with fondness. “I’ve missed seeing your beautiful smile.”

you and druig have been married for decades, soon turning into a century, the only thing is, none of the eternals know until now
warnings: MILD eternals spoilers, reader is referred to as persephone but she is an eternal.
With the air soft and gentle, humid but warm, forging for berries near the boundaries of the Amazon commune had always been a favourite past time for both you and Druig.
By your side, he’d help you part the bushes, the leaves, and partially, the thorns to aid you in picking the ripe berries. He didn’t do much as he knew that this was the very chore you adored doing. The mind controller knew his place and kept it.
As Druig kneels by your side, eyes focused on your features, his lips quirk into a grin when he finds the way you bite your lip in focus. He can’t help but smile at the action, ever so innocent and tangible, you’ve always been his source of passion.
“The berries are so ripe this season.” Your gentle tone brings him back from his reverie, your eyes settled on the handful of blueberries in your dirtied palm while his settle on the way the sun casts a glow on your sun kissed skin.
“Druig?” He turns to you and finds your gaze settled on him with a pinch to your brows. Your look of confusion makes his pale cheeks erupt with a blushing shade of pink. “Are you alright, dear?”
Druig nods softly and parts his mouth to speak, but the surge of presence takes him back. He’s controlled every part of the commune, he knows it inside and out and with that sinking feeling in his bones, he knows something is up. Yet, he can’t take himself to ruin your moment of serenity.
“You continue your forging, love,” he stands up tall and you watch him with a curious eye, unaware and almost innocent, “I’ll be back.”
You purse your lip in tow, watching him disappear deep into the woods and back into the village. You try to return to your activities, picking at every ripe blueberry and strawberry that your eyes could see.
Within fifteen minutes of a full basket, you grew rather bored and wondered of your husband’s presence. After all, unlike him, you couldn’t read his mind nor his whereabouts.
As you start your trek back into the commune, the people greet you in their native tongue, their expressions filled with glee to see you as you then handed your berry-filled-baskets to one of the elderly. They inevitably reuse them into many things, fabric dye, for food, or for wine.
Your lovely Druig adored the commune’s wine. Granted, he’s never tasted anything from the outside, it was merely up there on your list.
“¿Sabes adónde fue mi marido?” Do you know where my husband went? You had asked with concern and genuine interest as his presence didn’t waver around the area.
The grey haired woman smiled and pointed her finger to one of the bigger community lodges. You thanked her as she walked away, your focus now on the large building that had its doors closed for privacy.
You wondered as the twigs cracked under your bare feet what sort of secret your husband was keeping. He was not the type to keep one in the first place but as you neared the lodging, you couldn’t help but wonder if he had other sinister streaks beneath his facade.
After all, while he was foremost your husband, he was also an Eternal. One that could control minds and manipulate them into his serving.
While you could challenge his bidding with your own celestial power, you were made to provide nature for humanity, not control it.
Covered in dirt, your hands press against the wooden door in hope to push it open. To your luck, it hasn’t been locked, and as it creaked open, your greeted with eyes targeted on you.
Illuminated by soft artificial light, your eyes flutter in hopes to adjust. Only when they do, you’re met with your husband’s staring gaze. Unreadable expression, but his pink lips are sodden and wet from the act of his tongue.
“Sersi?” Your eyes continue to travel. “Ikaris? Thena?” You were appalled by the sight of your family, the majority of them sitting in one of the lodging you had built.
“I see you’ve kept our dear Perse under your finger.” Ikaris voices his displeasure and its ever so evident in his tone. “We’ve been looking all over for you.”
You frown. “I haven’t been anywhere expect with Druig.” You shift your attention from Ikaris to the man you just spoke about. His arms crossed while his gaze dark but focused on you.
“You forget that they weren’t at the wedding, my flower.” He cocks his head, settling his sole attention on you while he stands from where he leans against the table. “They wouldn’t know.”
“There was a wedding?!” Kingo rises with a shriek, the man behind him following him short with a camera present on his hand. When the Bollywood actor reaches you and raises your hand, he gawks at the gemstone that sits on your finger.
“This...” You watch as Kingo’s face contorts from excitement to confusion. “Is not a diamond.” He looks up and points an accusing finger at your husband. “I expected better from you, Druig.”
The raven haired boy tilts his head unbothered, watching as the interaction continues with you being the centre of attention. “She chose it. Not me. I just proposed.”
Sersi stands from her chair and follows Kingo from where you stand. There’s a grin present on her face as she approaches you and you’re wholeheartedly content with the fact that she’s more than happy to see you after decades.
“Blue sapphire,” Sersi stares at awe while Sprite joins in beside her, both the girls and Kingo analyzes your beautiful, beautiful ring that Druig had made for you.
You nod at her comment, grinning with glee when you look above them and find Druig staring at you with his own smirk. “Matches his eyes.”
Kingo shivers at your words and pulls away playfully, turning his attention to the man with the camera whom he addresses as Karun. “Classic. The beautiful Persephone and brooding Druig are married. Sorry to break it to you guys, but I’ve seen this coming since Babylon.” He gives the camera a wink and then motions for Karun to focus the camera somewhere else.
He moves over to you and you smile rather awkwardly, waving your free hand at the camera before he zooms on in at Druig, who raises an annoyed brow.
“How many cameras do you have in that bag?”
“This is so pretty,” Sprite makes the comment and you thank her for it. “I’m kind of mad you didn’t even invite me. I thought I was your favourite.”
Druig shrugged. “It was a spontaneous gesture.”
Sprite rolled her eyes. “Oh, yeah. I’m sure it was.”
You giggle at their reaction, shaking your head as you shared a smile with your lover. Soon, Thena joined in and you couldn’t help but fawn at her validation of your marriage. She had never been one to be approving of such human behaviour, let alone marriage and love, but with the gentle smile she gifted you along with the nod, you didn’t need her to vocalize that she was content.
“I’m so happy for the both of you,” Sersi beams with a smile, her eyes hopeful and soft that love between the group was a thing again and that the failure in her relationship didn’t define others future. “Wedding or not. I’m glad you and Druig are happy.”
When you pull away from your friends and family, your lover stands beside your side with no hesitation. His lips is quirked into a soft smile, gentle and barely there, but if you stare long enough to find his features prominent, it’s all there.
His love for you. His promise. His oath.
i’ll never let you go
druig x eternal!reader
you spent eternity convincing yourself that you didn’t like druig at all, but there’s a fine line between love and hate
enemies(ish) to lovers, eternals spoilers, slow burn, some angst, fluff, implied reference to smut, some characters die, fake out death scene
so i had a request about druig flirting and saying did you miss me and yes! that’s in there. but i went overboard !! flashbacks are in italics :)
Living throughout time, seeing people born and seeing people die. Living throughout moments in history that would become iconic and studied, throughout thousands of years, was never boring or tiring for you.
For most of the other Eternals, from what you had heard, they had become bored at some point. Disillusioned with living eternally, more interested in returning to Olympia. It wasn’t as though you had no desire to return home, nor did you not believe that mankind had not made many amazing advancements that meant that they were capable of living without all of you.
However, you loved everything that you had come to know. You loved the people of Earth, you loved the history that you had seen and partially contributed to. The idea of leaving this planet you had spent so long on hurt you more than it should.
Despite your love for Earth, you would give it all up to see former members of the team again. The people you considered family that had decided to grow distant. Sersi stayed in contact, and Kingo was never hard to find. But the others… God, you missed them all so dearly.
Specifically, you missed Druig. Back when you were all together you never believed there would come a day when you would say that. He was annoying and insufferable to you, constantly bickering back and forth during missions. You remembered it all so clearly, and occasionally your mind would wander back.
“What the Hell are you doing, Druig?” You asked, popping up behind him as you watched his glowing eyes return to normal. He looked like a deer caught in the headlights, clearly assuming that he was the only person awake.
“I…” He trailed off, releasing the random person he had a hold on, who ran away in confusion. “He was crying.” He answered, glancing down at his hands.
“So… were you trying to figure out why or something?” You asked, sitting beside him on the ledge he was sitting on.
“No. I was trying to make him stop crying.” He looked embarrassed, and if you were a little wiser you would have been able to pick up on why. “Shouldn’t you know this? You’re literally telepathic.”
“I can’t read other Eternals' minds, you know that.” You said, poking his head. “Specifically your thick skull.”
“Very funny.” He said, though you noticed no amusement in his voice. It was so infuriating talking to Druig, he couldn’t even pretend to be interested in something that you had to say. It wasn’t that you needed his approval or something, but it would have been nice to receive some sort of response from him.
“Why are you still awake?” You asked, trying to diffuse the quiet and nearly tense situation as you looked over at him.
“Why are you?” He retorted, turning his head to meet your eyes. “You said you were exhausted earlier.”
“I am… I just can’t sleep. I never sleep the night before we go on another mission.” You answered, surprised by your own honesty; though, if anyone asked you would just claim that it was sleep deprivation and that you would never have answered Druig’s question had you not been so tired.
“You need to sleep, your mind is your most valuable asset.” He said, surprising you with how genuine he was being. “Not that you aren’t a good fighter, but your superpower literally is-“
“I know what you meant, I really want to sleep, I just can’t.” You answered, staring at the still and quiet town below the two of you. Most civilians were tucked away in bed, it wasn’t as if there was much that they could do this last in early 1000’s Europe.
He was quiet, enjoying the crisp night air. Druig was truthfully only awake because your pacing had kept him up, but he knew it would make you feel bad if he said that so he kept it to himself. He wasn’t sure if it was the rustling that woke him, or worry that something was genuinely wrong, but he couldn’t sleep because of you.
“Druig?” His attention turned back to you, taking in the timid look on your face. “Could you… could you make me sleep?”
“I’m not sure if it can work on another Eternal, but I can try.” He said, walking back to camp with you and letting you get comfortable laying down before his eyes illuminated again.
Within a little under a minute you were fast asleep, leaving Druig to return to his sleeping area and finally get some sleep. You’d never forget the looks from the others when they noticed both of your eyes glowing for a second when you were woken up.
It was easy to think back on the good times, it was something that often controlled many of your thoughts. Thousands of years spent with Druig, and you had so few truly happy memories with him that the ones you had were on your brain more than you would have liked them to be.
There was no real dislike you felt for him, he was just as much of a loved one to you as anyone else in the Eternals. But that didn’t change the fact that you often disagreed. Druig was brash and often mean, he came off as an abrasive jerk half of the time you were with him and that made you want to spend less time getting to know him than you spent on the others.
But that didn’t mean you didn’t care about him, and that didn’t mean that there was no room for love in your heart for Druig. You did love him, you loved him just as much as you loved all of the Eternals. Or, that’s what you believed.
But when Sersi showed up at your doorstep, Sprite and Ikaris behind her, you wished that Druig had been there as well. Finding out that Ajak was dead was a shock, but knowing that you were going to find the rest of your family changed that.
You wanted to find them, but most importantly, you wanted to find Druig. You tried to push it aside, and pretend that you weren’t actually thinking these things and that they were simply thoughts that you disagreed with and didn’t want. Deep down you knew the truth, as much as you tried to deny it.
It was pretty early in the morning when you ran into Sersi — Quite literally.
“Oh?! Sersi, are you alright?!” You immediately kneeled down, helping her back up to her feet as you inspected her for any sort of injuries that the fall may have caused.
“Yes, I’m okay. Don’t worry about it.” She said, kindly. Her tone and smile were more than enough to calm you down as you sighed, looking at her. “What had you so distracted, if you don’t mind my asking?”
“I was just thinking, I guess.” You said, looking down. You had made her fall, so you supposed you owed her the full truth. “I was thinking about a few years ago, how I could hardly get myself to sleep but when Druig put me to sleep it was the best rest that I ever had.” You commented, walking with Sersi as you took in the sights and sounds of your new, temporary, home.
“Well, his powers are strong.” She said, not really understanding what you were getting at. “Unless it was something else?”
“I don’t think it was his powers, I-“ You cut yourself off, glancing back at where everyone else was patiently waiting for Gilgamesh to finish cooking. “I think it had something to do with him, which makes no sense because I don’t even like talking to him.”
Sersi smiled, understanding lighting up her face. “It’s probably just because you trust all of us, and being supported by one of us makes you feel safe.” As true as that was, Sersi believed it had more to do with your connection to Druig than him being an Eternal. At the end of the day, you and Druig were two sides of the same coin. You read minds, and he controlled them. Your powers put together could be unstoppable, but, unfortunately, the two of you refused to cooperate like grown adults.
Regardless, you nodded and agreed, heading back to where everyone was once food started making its way to the table.
It was reminiscent of this moment, sitting beside Kingo as you looked at all of the people you considered family, accepting your food.
“I’m almost jealous of Thena, being served this amazing food every day.” You said, digging into it almost immediately.
“You look like you haven’t had a decent meal in months.” Thena commented, watching as you almost rabidly ate your food.
“Yeah, do you think someone’s gonna take it?” Kingo added on, laughing when you rolled your eyes.
“I’ve been living alone for a while, the last time I had something I didn’t cook myself or order from a fast food place was like… 8 months ago.”
“Well why didn’t you just go out and eat?” Sprite asked, to which Sersi answered.
“Our dear friend here believes that it’s indecent to eat at restaurants alone.”
“Now that’s just not true.” Ikaris chimed in, “I eat at cafes alone all the time.”
“Well that’s different, Ikaris. A cafe is casual, this is higher quality than many restaurants, and good restaurants require reservations. You can’t call for a party of one.”
Everyone seemed to contemplate what you said, before Gilgamesh finally agreed.
“At least we’re all together now.” Thena said, a smile on her face as she looked at everyone.
“Not all of us.” You said, glancing down at your food. You still couldn’t seem to get your mind off of Druig, no matter how badly you wanted to think about anything else.
Sersi excused herself, and Ikaris followed rather soon after. But that didn’t stop the rest of you from catching up on what you had been doing since you had last seen each other.
The gentle moment didn't last long, however, because once Sersi returned it was as if your entire world crashed down around you. In a sense, it did. And in a more literal sense, it would if you didn’t do anything to stop it.
When she mentioned Druig you couldn’t help your excitement as all of you got into the jet, wasting no time in getting to him. But as you sat aboard the jet, the only thing on your mind was the last time you had ever seen Druig.
The entire team's morale was down, in a moment that should have been a triumph. A moment when all of the deviants were destroyed, and everyone should have been happy and celebrating. But nobody was, because Thena was suffering. And losing her to something she had no control over was too much to handle.
Your hand was within Thena’s as you sat beside her, despite everyone’s warnings to stay away from her because she could go under the effect of the sickness again. But you trusted Thena, and you trusted that she wouldn’t do that.
Druig was the first to disagree with Ajak, and despite your common disagreements with him, he was right.
“Druig is right.” You said, everyone turning their attention to you. “I love you, Ajak. But even in the history of this planet, people blindly following orders has gotten people killed. Why should we blindly follow what we’re told? Do we really have free will if we can only follow one path, and one set of ideas, even if we disagree with it?” You questioned, Druig nodding appreciatively at you for standing with him.
“We were instructed not to intervene.” She answered, “I was instructed not to intervene.”
You glanced down for a moment, meeting her eyes again. “Maybe your instructor was wrong.”
Druig seemed to reach a breaking point as he continued what he was doing before, his eyes glowing gold as the people below you all fell under his control.
You were defensive when Ikaris went after Druig, but what he said truly shocked you. “How could you say you want to kill your own friend?”
His shocked expression turned back to you. “I didn’t say that.”
“I heard you.”
“I… I thought-“
Ajak cut you both off, realization on everyone’s face when they connected what happened. For the first time, you read the mind of another Eternal.
Druig was out of the building the moment he had the opening, but you could hear his thoughts. He seemed afraid, but relieved to no longer have to follow Ajak unquestionably. He was thinking about you, about how you had gotten into Ikaris’ brain - he wondered if you could hear his thoughts.
It went silent after that, you couldn’t hear anyone else’s thoughts in the room. Only your own.
You were all free to go, to be on your own and make your own decisions. To say that didn't terrify you would be a lie, but you wanted to try. You wanted to have some sort of life on this planet that would be your home for a while.
But it would feel empty, knowing that your family would be out there - without you.
The plane landed and you were looking everywhere and anywhere for Druig, before you heard him again. You didn’t know if he knew you could hear his thoughts, and truthfully you weren’t sure why you could. But it wore off after a moment, you were right back to where you were before. Just searching for him.
After a few moments, he came out and brought you all into a room where Sersi explained to him what was going on.
“You’re okay with all of this?” He asked, finally turning his attention to you. “You’re the only one that hasn’t said anything, you’ve just been staring at me.”
“You have been staring at him a lot, no offense.” Kingo’s valet added in, your body freezing as everyone finally turned their attention to you.
“What? Did you miss me?” He asked, walking closer to where you were sitting.
“I missed everyone.” You covered, though he seemed to be able to tell that you weren’t saying the whole truth. You did specifically miss him, but you were not about to admit that.
Regardless, he wasn’t interested in the plan, and when he explained why it wasn’t as if you could blame him. While everyone else dispersed to let him decide - you followed after Druig, determined to talk to him.
Looking didn't take that long, the second you stepped into a secluded part of the village you felt someone lingering behind you. You didn’t expect to feel a hand on your waist, turning you around as your eyes found Druig’s.
“Did you miss me?” The same question, but his voice was lower and clearly flirtatious. He knew you missed him, and he wasn’t surprised when he felt your arms wrap around him.
“Yes, and I don’t know why.” You answered, completely truthfully as you held into him. “I have something I need to tell you.”
“Oh, are you in love with me?”
“What?! No, I don’t think so. I don’t know, I don’t really have experience with that. That’s not the point.” You stumbled through your sentence, sighing as the smile covering his face when he realized he got you flustered. “I can hear your thoughts.”
“What?” His face fell, and that deer in the headlights expression covered his face again - just like it had that night in Europe.
“Not right now, but I could hear you when we first got here. And the last time I saw you, the night Ikaris thought about wanting to kill you.” Druig sat down against a tree, motioning for you to do the same as you sat down beside him.
“Do you know why?”
“No idea.” You answered, studying your hands before looking back at him. “Look, I know a lot is going on right now and you might not want to fight. I’m not going to tell you to, you deserve to make that choice on your own. But if we lose, we die, and I would feel a lot better about it with you by my side.”
Druig was quiet, a ghost of a smile on his face. “I always thought you hated me.”
“Sometimes I hated talking to you because you can be kind of an asshole.” He seemed to agree with that, “But I could never hate you, Druig. I do love you, you know.”
His bright eyes found yours, and for a second you started to hear him thinking before a crash sounded throughout the village. You both jumped to your feet, heading toward the direction of the noise that you had heard.
“Where are they?”
You focused your mind, listening to the thought around you before you pointed. “Headed toward the river, there’s deviants here.”
The both of you started running, cursing yourself for walking so far away from camp. Once you found the civilians, Druig brought them under his control and had them grab weapons.
“This seems like a good plan.” You said, believing that having more fighters would be good. But seeing them fight, and seeing them die, your hands found Druig’s as you brought his attention to you. “They’re dying you have to-“
You were both cut off as Sersi dropped a frozen tree on a deviant, finishing your thought and telling Druig to release the people. He was reluctant, but listened regardless and told them all to run to the river.
The rest of the fight seemed to go alright until you all followed Ikaris to where he said Gilgamesh and Thena were. Until you saw Thena kneeling over a body.
This couldn’t be happening, you already lost Ajak.
Your eyes filled with tears as you looked down at them, as you realized that there was nothing you could do. You could hear Gilgamesh’s last, fleeting thought. A thought of Thena, for her to be okay without him even with her sickness.
You all agreed to burn the body, a hero's funeral that couldn’t have been given to Ajak. it hurt, but it only made you all stronger. More willing to fight in his honor, together with the people who mattered the most to you.
It was a solemn trip to where you all knew Phastos was staying, that was for sure. You were silent and alone for most of it until Druig sat beside you, equally as silent.
But one thing did draw your attention to him completely as you felt his hand on top of yours. Your fingers curled up to wrap around his, smiling as his thumb gently caressed the top of your hand. You let your head rest against him as you closed your eyes, finally falling asleep to the rise and fall of his chest.
Nobody bothered to wake you up when you went to get Phastos, it didn’t take more than a few minutes and Druig had fallen asleep as well. Had there been a deviant, it would have been another story, but Ikaris and Sersi decided that it wasn’t worth it to disturb your slumbers.
Though, Kingo had taken plenty of photos of you two practically cuddling on the plane that he was definitely going to be using against you at some point.
When you woke up you were told that it was time, and while you were nervous you knew that this needed to be done. You made your way into the ship, and a big smile covered your face when you saw Makkari. She had a lot to catch up on, but you were so glad to see her again.
After that, though, everything else seemed to be going okay. Phastos had a plan, and everything was going to be okay. You had faith in Druig, faith that he could do this. Phastos was especially grateful to have you both there, and seemingly working in harmony for once, since your powers happen to go hand in hand.
But nothing good can last, and Ikaris just had to go ahead and ruin everything. You stepped forward, the moment you saw Sersi crying. But you weren’t surprised.
“I’ve always known what you were, Ikaris.” You said, his cold expression looking toward you. “That night, that I got a glimpse into your mind. You were going to kill Druig, and you still want to.”
“I don’t want to kill any of you, but I’m willing to.” He answered, glancing toward the door when Makkari came running in. Kingo took the hit directed toward her and stood against Ikaris, lowering his guard when he finally left with Sprite.
Kingo was the next to go, and while you were upset that he didn’t chose to stay and help you were glad that he hadn’t decided to help Ikaris even though he happened to agree with him.
But you were all still faithful, and you still believed that this plan could work. Thena went to talk to Sersi, and you found yourself beside Druig again.
“Do you think I can do this?”
“I think you can, yes. But it all depends on how long Thena can keep Ikaris distracted.”
Druig smiled, something that you had grown to find beautiful. But despite his smile, you were nervous. Nervous that he was going to die, after you had just gotten him back.
“What’s wrong?” He asked, noticing that you were starting to cry. “Is it because of Ikaris?”
“No- it’s… I should have come to find you. I was so alone and I never worked up the courage to come visit and now? Now we could be about to die and I wasted so much time by myself. I’m so sorry for leaving you alone.” You said, letting the tears flow even as you felt Druig pull you against his body.
“I made you think I wanted isolation which… I did for a while. But being here with you I understand what you’re feeling, better than you know.”
The moment was cut short when Phastos said he bracelets were ready, when you all suited up and got ready for battle. But you knew your talk with Druig wasnt over, so long as the both of you survived the this entire ordeal.
You were out with Sersi, Makkari and Druig. Phastos knew that you being with Druig would be beneficial, since your powers both dealt with your powerful minds. You rose up with them, feeling the plan set in motion felt good, it felt like you were about to actually do this and put Tiamut to sleep.
But Ikaris knocked Druig down, and as you saw him blast him with his laser you felt your heart sink down to your stomach. The shout you let out was something between agony and anger, and something that sent Ikaris grabbing his head.
You knew you could read minds, but making him feel your pain physically was a power you hadn’t unlocked. You’d have to look more into that. Regardless, this gave Makkari time to grab him and start effectively beating him.
But your mind was broken on its own, your entire being felt shattered. You had spent so long pretending that you didn’t like Druig, convincing yourself that he was your least favorite person. But the thought of living in a world without him, and never seeing his cute smile again, made you feel empty and lonely. It was unfathomable, it felt like falling into an endless dark chasm that you would never get out of - oh my god… you loved him. You were in love with him, and you weren’t going to be able to tell him.
This needed to get done, you needed to protect Sersi at all costs - Druig’s fate would not be in vein, even if you had to sacrifice yourself for Sersi to ensure it.
“I’m staying with you.” You said, turning to look at Sersi who nodded and brought you with her. You both ventured closer to the erupting volcano. You hoped they would be okay on the beach, because you knew you would feel a lot safer not sending Sersi off on her own without any sort of backup.
The both of you made it rather far before you saw Ajak, but you both knew better. It was obviously Sprite, Ajak would never say something so cold to Sersi. She loved all of you, and it became clear to you that Sprite did not.
You were so distracted by how offensive Sprite’s portrayal of Ajak was to you that you didn’t notice that she was actually behind Sersi, though you wouldn’t have been able to anyway since she had made herself invisible.
Your eyes widened in shock as you dropped to hold onto Sersi, trying to stop the bleeding as you held onto her waist. You grabbed a knife from the side of your attire, standing up with the blade out as you looked at her. You were about one second away from trying to stab her before Druig hit her with a rock.
“You’re alive?!” You breathed out, helping Sersi up as you took in the sight of his face. A face that for a moment, you believed you may never see again. grabbed him and pulled him into a tight hug, breathing in the scent of him that you feared you would never be able to smell again.
You had little time, however, so you pulled back. When he talked to Sersi you let go of him, turning back one last time. “You were right, about what I had to tell you.” You said, before following Sersi toward Tiamut.
You stood beside her as she kneeled and started freezing the ground, you kept watch while trying to get into her mind and see how you could keep her calm. Serenity was key in this, even if it was something that would obviously make her incredibly anxious.
Ikaris approached rather quickly, and you stood in the way of his line of attack though you knew he would kill you both if need be. But he didn’t, he loved Sersi even if he acted as though he was incapable of love.
It was a relief, and as you all became a unimind you knew that you were doing the right thing. You watched Sersi, taking in the power that she had and how she was doing this on her own - saving the world quite literally.
You closed your eyes as Tiamut was frozen, until you were all released from the unimind. The moment your feet touched the ground you had the urge to run toward Druig, the only thing stopping you being Sersi.
“Go to him.” She said, an understanding smile on her face. The same understanding she had all that time ago when you admitted that he helped you sleep.
You took off running back in the direction you came from, barely being careful enough to not slip and fall before you finally found him, crashing into another hug as you realized you were both alive after everything.
He pulled back from the hug only to crash his lips against yours, your body curving into his as he held you close to him. It took thousands of years of bickering and snide remarks, but the kiss felt absolutely magical. It felt like his mouth was made for your own as you took the feeling of him in. The feeling like you were both flying as you pulled back to look into his eyes and catch your breath.
“So you’re in love with me?”
“Good, because I’m in love with you too.” Druig said, a big smile covering his face as you kissed the corner of his mouth before walking back to the beach where you would find everyone else waiting for you all.
It was the lack of Ikaris that caught your attention, and seemed to catch Sprite’s as well. He was dead, from what Sersi said. And despite how much you had grown to hate him, losing another member of your little family hurt. Losing Sprite, however, didn’t hurt too much. You believed she deserved her choice, just as Thena did when she decided she didn’t want her mind erased. If the only way for her to be happy was becoming human, you would be happy for her.
You all left the beach, ending up going back with Phastos while you waited until you felt ready to go back to being separated from the remaining members of your group of Eternals. You spent a majority of the next two weeks exploring the new nature of your relationship with Druig before you both had to tend to your responsibilities. These explorations included, but we’re not limited to, exploring each other’s minds, emotions, a little bit of exploring each other's thoughts, and a moderate amount of exploring each other’s bodies. Just the good stuff, basically.
But, everything must come to an end and you went your separate ways. Yourself, Druig, Makkari and Thena all decided to stay on the ship and try to find the remaining Eternals. With the promise to stay in contact with Sersi, Kingo and Phastos, you felt hopeful about your new future.
Seven thousand years spent on Earth, avoiding your true feelings toward Druig and decidedly living in self isolation may have been wasted. But as you laid beside him on your ship, cuddled into his body as you both drifted off to sleep, you knew you would never waste another moment.

“They’ve began to call you Antheia, you know.” He chuckled softly, ocean blue eyes staring out of the window, admiring the view below the domo whilst gently twirling the stem in between his calloused fingers.
“What?” She questioned “But that’s not even close to my true name?” Gazing at him in confusion, eyebrows furrowed as she watched his fingers brush against the individual petals.
“It means flower, my love. Personally I think it’s quite fitting.” He paused, handing the flower to her, fingers grazing against her own, an unreadable expression on his face.
“Wouldn’t you agree?”

This was a bad idea is all you can think as you huff under Druig's amused gaze. You don't know what you expected when you introduced your 7000 year old boyfriend to vibrators but now you're cursing yourself because he just won't stop teasing you.
“My beautiful, beautiful y/n,” Druig's voice flirts through the room, intertwined with your moans. A desperate Druig please tears through your lips when his thumb hikes up the settings on the vibrator while pressing it flush against your clit,“How cute.”
Drunk on the way you squirm on the bed, tugging on your wrists that are bound to the headboard— courtesy of your dear boyfriend— he can't help but push you to another orgasm. As your head tips back and shoulders jerk from the intense orgasm rolling through you, Druig admires the sight. He is amazed by how a little toy built by humans can make his darling cum within seconds.
He's turning down the setting, lowering the vibrations as he watched your pussy flutter around empty air, your slick dribbling down your thighs and making a mess on the sheets,“You're ruining the sheets, honey.” Druig coos, pressing a soft kiss on your parted lips. You chase his lips with a desperate whine as he pulls away,“Ready to go again?”
"Druig, I can't, 's too much, please,” Yet he flips up the vibrator to the highest level with a breathy chuckle,“Yes you can, darling.” Your face lolls to the side, trying to hide behind your outstretched arm but a warm hand curls around your jaw,“Let me watch you fall apart for me.” Turning you to face him, his eyes glint sadistically when he notices the pearly tears rolling down your cheeks,“Oh, crying for daddy already?”
His thumb wipes away at one warm drop before leaning forward to kiss away the consecutive one. Humming at the salty taste staining his lips, he pushes a finger inside your dripping cunt,“Oh darling, you're so fucking tight,” Druig couldn't bite back the moan when he felt your walls clamp around his finger.
“Druig, druig, it's all too much—” Your whine is shushed by his lips on yours,“That's not my name, baby. Or are you forgetting?” He tuts, biting softly on your lower lip as a punishment,“Daddy, please,” The low growl fizzling at the back of his throat didn't go unnoticed by you, even in your fucked out state,“Can't cum no more,”
“Hm? Is that it? My beautiful baby doesn't wanna cum anymore?” Druig tilts his head to the side, blue eyes locked on yours while he studied your face with a devious smirk tugging at his lips. You're struggling, swallowing down the loud moans with a fog bubbling through your mind. Druig taps at your cheek, laughing at the hazed look in your eyes as he curls his fingers inside you, the little toy still sending pleasant vibrations to your swollen little clit,“Go on, answer daddy. Or are you too dumb for that already, huh?”
“Mhm!” Your jaw clenches as you're on the verge of yet another orgasm before nodding with sweet pleas falling easily from your lips, unsure of what you're even asking for at this moment,“Please, please daddy,” His light chuckle should've been foreshadowing but you were too lost to notice,“Don't cum.” Golden eyes glared menacingly at you. Your mind fracturing as it falls into his control and suddenly your body reacts on its own, halting your potential orgasm and leaving you pulling at your wrists tied together.
“Druig why,” You sob pathetically, staring up at him with tears dewing your eyelashes,“Oh my apologies, darling but didn't my naive little y/n just say you can't cum no more?” An angry pout settles on your lips as he throws away the vibrator, finally. His lips clashes against yours, his cock lined up with your entrance and yet he's teasing by dipping in just the leaky tip of his angry red cock,“Please daddy, just need you inside me.”
His hand slid down your jaw to curl around your neck, settling like a collar. His lips breathing against yours but not quite engaging in a kiss,"Oh God," You whimper as you feel his cock stretch you out when he finally pumps into you,"Yeah, that's right, I'm your God.” Druig snickers, fingers tightening around the column of your throat ever so lightly. A grunt wrecks his chest at the feeling of your cunt wrapped tight around him,“Say it. Say that I'm your God."
Mind reeling from the previously ruined orgasm he withheld from you, your tongue stumbles upon words,“Yes Druig—” His palm lands sharply against your clit in a cruel spank before you rectify yourself,“God! Please, 's too muc- ah!” Before you can even finish speaking, he rolls his hips against yours, his cock hitting deep inside your fluttering cunt,"Cum on your God's cock, my beautiful baby."
Your body reacted even before Druig's eyes lit up with the beautiful golden glow, gummy walls clamping down impossibly tight around his cock as you came with a scream of his name,“Fuck, fuck- s'fucking tight,” He didn't even have to order you but your pussy is squirting around him just from having his cock inside,“What a- fuckin' mess your slutty pussy made, darling.” You can feel his cock throb inside you as he grits out the words before tapering off into a moan.
Gripping your hips in a bruisingly tight fashion, Druig pounds into you. Meanwhile, claiming your lips in a searing kiss as he growled,“Want your God to fill you up real nice, eh?” His accent is thick even when his smooth voice is muffled by your lips,“Yes, yes, please, God,”
He's not gonna last long, especially when he has you begging so sweet for him,“Then take it, take it all- fuck!” Druig has never felt you clench so tight around him before, his cock leaking hot ropes of cum deep inside you as you tip over yet another orgasm, his name falling from your lips like a prayer,“How fascinating.”
He should definitely use these little toys the humans made more often.

You’ve felt him tossing and turn for over an hour now. Felt his distress with each turn and soft huff vibrate the bed. Your back is to him, but you’re sure his features are as cool as ever as his body is the opposite; restless. You’ve been on the cusp of sleep ever since sinking into bed, Thena having made all of you work overtime on an action plan all day. And as much as you loved the woman, her work ethic was draining.
Just when you’re about to turn and ask him if everything is alright you feel his arm wrap around you, pulling you closer to his chest. His nose nuzzles into the crook of your neck, his hot breath fanning across your skin. There’s a beat, a silent few minutes of calm where you think he’s finally settled down for the night and your mind slowly drifts to sleep. Only to be brought back when you feel the soft pressure of his lips on the back of your neck, leaving a trail along the exposed flesh he can reach within the crook of it. His hand at your waist rubbing small circles above the waistband of your shorts.
“Druig,” your voice is sleepy and questioning.
“Hmm?” His tone is laced with innocence and softness as he removes his lips from the your skin to rest his head back in the crook of your neck.
“What’re you doing?”
You feel the sigh he lets out rasp through his chest and against your back, his nose nuzzling in the hair at the back of your neck. His voice soft and whiney as he speaks against your skin, “I can’t sleep if I’m not inside you.” As the words come out of his mouth you feel his hips press to your back side, his hardness rubbing against your ass.
Your body reacting as if on command, a small whimper swallowed down your shaky throat. “We have an early morning.” Something that wasn’t an excuse more than it was a fact. And if your body wasn’t filled with the exhaustion of the day you know the minute the two of you got into bed Druig would of been buried inside of you, fucking you nice and slow into the mattress.
“We don’t have to, I just want to be inside of you.” You can hear his voice inside of your head, the telepath reading your thoughts. His hips rut slowly against your ass, you can feel his lashes flutter against your skin. His mouth falling open letting out a breathy, “please.”
And if your body was sleep ridden before it’s awake now. Your fist clenching the sheets beside you, the drag of his clothed cock against you making your core ache, lighting a new fire in your body that has it awake and responsive. “Druig,” you try to swallow down the whimper that threatens at the back of your throat. “We need rest, my love.”
You trusted him enough to know that he wasn’t bluffing when he said the two of you didn’t need to have sex, he didn’t need to finish, to even start. He just needed to be inside of you, feel the warmth of your walls wrapped around him.
But you knew yourself, knew that the minute you felt him stretching you, felt the slow drag of his cock as he filled you to the hilt, until you were so full of him. The two of you connected and whole, you knew you would want more. Need more. That’s how it always went if the two of you didn’t fuck before bed.
“Know you want it to,” he presses his lips to the back of your neck again, let’s breathy whimpers out hotly against your skin as he continues to rub against you.
Your mind is slowly falling in line with your body, letting itself be taken over by Druig, his soft noises going straight to your soaking core. The press of his lips making it harder to breath. But you still find yourself standing a little bit of ground as you shake your head. If the two of you overslept you would never hear the end of it.
“No?” Druig’s boyish smirk spreads against your skin after one last press of his lips. You can feel his fingers begin to move again against the skin above your shorts, before they disappear completely inside of them. His palm cupping your mound, his finger running through your wet folds at the same time he rubs deliciously slow against your ass, and you let a moan slip from your lips. “You’re such a bad liar.”
His other hand comes up to your jaw, gripping it slightly to turn your head as much as it can so your eyes meet. The warmth of his palm making you keen into everywhere he’s touching you, “Please, love. We both need it.” Druig presses his lips to yours in a deep kiss that burns through you. Completely takes over your body, and any reason as to why you two need to sleep dies somewhere in the back of your head.
As soon as you moan “okay” against his lips it takes him little time to remove the confines of both of your bottom half’s, and then the head of his cock is at your entrance and it’s just a little harder for the both of you to breathe. Your foreheads touching, moans mixing as Druig pushes inside of you so so slow. The drag of his cock stretching you in the best way, your stomach fluttering once he’s seethed fully inside of you.
And when he pulls back to press another kiss to your lips the two of you share a look, knowing, understanding that just this won’t be enough. It’s never enough, the two of you always needing more of each other; in every way. As if the two of you were destined to never be okay without some type of contact, touch, knowing from the other. Druig always needed to feel your body pressed and rocking against his, your beautiful moans in his neck, against his lips, the way you grip his cock as you cum. Amongst so much more, because that’s what kind of love the two of you shared together; more. More understanding, more strength together.
He thinks he’ll need you forever. And he’s more than okay with that if it means he gets to have you like this, touch you like this, watch you like this; pressed to his back trying to muffle your moans as he fucks you slow.

Druig watched as yet another man asked you to share a dance with him before whisking you off of your feet and onto the dance floor. There wasn't a single song that had played that night that you hadn’t had a partner for and as the night grew old, Druig prayed there wouldn’t be much more. He understood the significance of it- the dancing, the society, the making yourself seem eligible- but he could barely stomach it regardless.
“Druig, if you don’t ask a girl to dance soon, they’ll begin to get suspicious.”
Sitting up straighter at the sound of your voice in his head, Druig glanced over his shoulder to where you danced with the man, your eyes straying to Druig’s before falling back on your dance partner and nodding along with whatever he had said.
“And if you don’t stop dancing, you’ll have a proposal by the end of the night.”
The smile on your face faltered just long enough for Druig to catch it.
“Please, Druig,” You thought. “It’s all in good fun.”
Taking a sip from his glass, he rolled his eyes.
“And they say I’m the selfish one.”
Despite the fact that the group of eternals as a whole had separated years ago, you and Druig had never strayed too far from one another. Even when you tried to escape each other- wherever one eternal had gone- the other wouldn’t be too far behind. If he was the mind, you were the heart and together you made one fully functioning person that neither of you could survive without.
He came to these balls for you but as he checked his watch and saw the clock strike ten, he was nearly convinced he wouldn’t be able to survive another ten minutes.
“You know,” The older woman seated at the same table said. “It truly is a shame for a man to sit out when there are so many eligible young ladies waiting patiently to be asked to dance.”
And just then- Druig was thoroughly convinced he couldn’t spend another second in that sweltering room.
Without another word, Druig pushed himself up from the table and sought the nearest exit. On the other side of the room you watched as your best friend practically fled the ball, and without even apologizing, you separated from your dance partner and rushed as inconspicuously as you could out of the room.
“Dru?” You called into the foyer outside the ballroom. “Druig!”
Taking a second to breathe, you listened closely and heard a bit of rustling from a nearby coat closet. Stepping carefully towards the door, you swung it open and almost laughed at the sight of Druig sitting on the floor of the closet amidst a pile of outerwear.
“I’m sorry…” You said, crossing your arms and trying your hardest not to break into a fit of laughter. “Are you hiding right now? How very human of you, Dru.”
Druig only rolled his eyes and pushed himself off of the floor, towering over you once more.
“Very funny, Y/n.” Druig said, checking his watch. “Does your little detective game mean you’re ready to leave?”
“Why didn’t you just head back without me?” You asked.
For a moment Druig paused, staring at you in silence before shrugging.
“Didn’t want to leave you behind without the carriage.”
Just as you were about to open your mouth and remind him that you had the power to create almost anything for your mind in a second of thought, the door to the closet swung open- the host of the ball, Mrs. Taylor, on the other side.
Watching her eyes grow wide and her jaw drop before your eyes, you shoved at Druig.
“Do something!” You thought.
Druig only looked at you in confusion.
“Why?” He asked. “Who cares if some woman-”
At your frantic call of his name he froze the woman where she stood before turning back to you.
“What’s the matter?”
“Druig,” You sighed. “Don’t you pay attention to anything? She just caught us in a closet alone together.”
“And,” You said, your patience running thin. “That’s social suicide. I might as well flee the country. Nobody will want to be associated with either of us… unless…”
“We have a few options.” You explained, glancing back to the frozen woman beside the two of you. “You can either erase her memory of ever seeing us… or… or... never mind. You’ll hate it.”
“Just say it-”
Druig wasn’t sure what he was expecting you to say, but it wasn’t at all the words that fell out of your mouth next.
“Or we could get married.”
In the centuries upon centuries that he had been alive and roamed the earth beneath the two of you’s feet, he had never thought of himself as a marrying man and he certainly never thought that you would be the one to propose the idea of it to him.
But... he also never thought he would love the way you said “we” and “married” in the same sentence so much. So much so that he almost hated himself for it.
“Excuse me?” Druig whisper shouted.
You threw your head back before grabbing Druig by both of the arms, forcing his eyes to stay focused on yours.
“Hear me out,” You said. “If we get married, or even engaged, I don’t have to worry about some random man proposing to me thinking that he’s doing me a favor, and you won’t have to deal with any of these socialite social expectations anymore. You won't have elderly women telling you to dance or people whispering about you behind your back when you have a built in partner for life- me.”
Druig paused for a second.
“People whisper about me?” He asked.
Joking aside, Druig had to admit... he wasn’t all that opposed to the idea.
As much as the society centered lifestyle in 1814 England didn’t necessarily agree with him, he knew it meant a lot for you to be able to stay there for at least a few years before moving on to your next adventure. He remembered the day you had first arrived and the energy that had been drained from your body as you once again created a new life for the two of you in someplace new.
Although you had the power to create from nothing- a manor, a carriage, a library for Druig- every piece you crafted took a bit away from you and he still remembered the way you didn’t leave your bed for a week after creating your expertly painted ceilings that rivaled the Sistine Chapel’s. It was hard work for you that you poured every ounce of your heart into and he didn’t want to take that away from you.
Although Druig never cared much about the house he lived in, he was grateful to live in such a home with you.
And sure, he knew he could try to erase the woman’s memory, but the way you promised him that he would never have to appeal to some random lady or watch men fawn over you ever again was almost an offer he couldn’t refuse.
“Are you sure you want to marry me?” Druig asked, genuinely shocked you would want to be associated with him such a way- even if it was just a ruse.
You paused for a moment, taking in the question your best friend had just asked you.
Although you and Druig had never crossed the line from friendship to lovers, you two were undeniably partners in life. You couldn’t recall a time since you had stepped foot on the planet that you didn't have each other’s best interests at heart and would stop at nothing to be by the others’ side. The two of you had been through thick and thin and although the word “marriage” had different connotations for different people... to you.. you weren’t scared of having that devotion written into stone with Druig.
Smiling softly at Druig, you slipped your hand into his and squeezed gently.
When Druig only stared at you, you placed out your left hand and allowed him to watch as a gorgeous, shining ring appeared on your finger, a box coming together in his free hand. The ring was so detailed and ultimately you, that he wondered how much thought you had put into it before this moment.
“You can stop freezing her now.” You thought.
And without another thought, he did.
“No, he really is the sweetest, Eliza.” You told your friend as you walked down your street, towards your home. “We really must have you lunch one day this week. I was thinking-”
You would recognize that voice anywhere.
Just as you stepped in front of the gate of your property, you stopped short when you saw Ajak and Sprite of all people standing on your doorstep.
Although you loved the both of them with all your heart, seeing them in town when everyone was out and about gossiping about your latest engagement to Druig was the last thing you wanted or needed at the moment.
Laughing nervously, you excused yourself from your friend and wringing your hands, made your way towards your two fellow eternals.
“Ajak,” You smiled. “Sprite. To what do I owe the pleasure?”
A pang of guilt hit you as you watched a bright and kind smile grace Ajak’s face, her hands reaching out to meet yours and squeeze them gently. You had always felt at peace in Ajak’s presence, knowing that there was nothing but kind sincerity in all of her actions, and you couldn’t help but feel awful knowing that you had not only been away from her for so long, but that you were hiding your truth from her as well.
“You look as beautiful as always,” She cooed. “I’ve missed you.”
Squeezing her hands, you returned her smile.
“I’ve missed you too, Ajak.” You said, before asking the question that was on your mind. “But what brings you here-”
Sprite was more than happy to answer.
“Well,” Sprite said, crossing her arms. “Two days ago when I was playing baccarat, this man at the table started complaining about how the woman he was courting wouldn’t stop gushing over this wedding that was happening in a few weeks. I, obviously, didn’t care until the names slipped out of his mouth- a Ms. Y/n Y/l/n and a Mr. Druig Valkin.”
There were few times in your life that you found yourself at a complete loss for words, but here, in this moment, all you were able to do was stand glued to your spot like a fool, without a single idea of what to say next.
You should’ve known better than to utilize the same surname you did every time, and you should’ve told Druig to use something besides his father’s name, but when you have to leave your life every couple of years, sometimes you couldn’t find it in yourself to break away from the few consistencies you afforded yourself.
“What a coincidence!” You said, laughing nervously.
“Y/n, you’ve been using the same name for centuries.” Sprite said. “We’re not stupid-”
“Are you ashamed of us?” Ajak asked, her face falling. “Why wouldn’t you tell us? This is great news!”
Unbeknownst to you as you were being barraged with questions, Druig was also on his way to your home after being told by some man at the pub that “that woman” was lucky to have him for providing her with such a nice home and comfortable lifestyle. Of course, Druig couldn’t help himself for providing that same man with the ability to pour his drink over his head for sharing so many unwelcome opinions in succession that couldn’t be farther from the truth.
The joy Druig found himself in knowing he would be seeing you soon quickly dissipated as he stepped in front of your home to see you talking to Sprite and Ajak on your doorstep.
Just as Druig was about to step away wordlessly, however, Ajak glanced over your shoulder and waved out her hand to him.
Not opening his mouth, Druig only folded his hands behind his back and walked down the path to meet with the three of you.
“What’s going on?” He asked you.
Feeling Druig’s arm brush against yours as he took his place beside you, you communicated to him wordlessly through your mind.
“I came home and they were standing here.” You thought. “Sprite found out about the engagement from someone in town.”
Of course she did.
“Can you stop doing that?” Sprite asked, pulling the two of you out of your own world.
“Doing what?” You asked.
“The thing you two do?” Sprite explained. “Where you talk to each other in your heads? It’s annoying. We’re standing right here.”
Not even having to look at Druig to know that there would be a slight blush coating his cheeks at being called out for his intimacy with you, the both of you stood there in embarrassed silence.
“You know,” Ajak said, the corner of her mouth quirking up. “I always knew you two would end up together.”
If you thought you had been embarrassed before, you could hardly even bare standing beside Druig now.
“What?” Druig asked.
Ajak clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth and laughed.
“Please, Druig,” She said. “I’ve always seen the way you look at her. You look at her as though she created the sun and the stars herself. You may not have been as open with me as Ikaris, but I’m not oblivious, Druig.”
Druig wished more than anything that he had the ability to shut Ajak up in that moment, but he knew it wasn’t even worth the effort.
He also knew that she was right- at least partly.
Druig had never completely admitted to himself that he was in love with you, but he knew he admired you more than anyone else alive and that if it ever came down to it, he would sacrifice his own life for yours. You were everything to him. You were the only consistency in Druig’s life and even though he could explore the vastness of nearly anybody’s mind, you were the only person who had ever made sense to him.
He had never admitted to himself that what he felt for you was more than platonic before, but in the past few months since he had first been called your fiancé, the pieces began to fall into place and Ajak’s own account was even further proof of the truth he was too scared to admit to even himself.
“And you, Y/n,” Ajak continued, raising her hand to your face and brushing your cheek with her thumb. “I could always tell by the way you talked about him. You have so much love in your heart, I don’t think you even realized how much you would talk about him... or defend him. It came naturally to you. Both of you.”
“You can go,” Druig finally said as he watched the fires burn in the city below the of you. “You don’t have to force yourself stay with me anymore. You’re free to go.”
Turning your head to the side, you noticed how Druig’s eyes stayed trained on the destruction in the city below as he sat by your side. You watched as the burning flames cast a warm glow against his skin and highlighted the stern features on his face. It almost felt like a poetic end to a centuries long tale, but you were too stubborn and sentimental to let something like that sway your judgement. Being eternal meant you never saw an end, and you weren't about to search for one now.
“I’m not leaving Druig.”
“What don't you understand?” He asked as his eyes fogged over. “You’re free to leave... to live your own life. I don’t need you to stay here.”
You had to admit, it hurt to hear the words that he didn’t need you come from his mouth, but you also understood that it was not from a place of hatred, but one of love.
“Druig, what don’t you understand?” You asked. “I don’t want to leave. I don’t stay with you because of some sense of duty, I stay because I love you and care for you and... and don’t want to imagine a life without you there. You make it worth it, Dru. You make staying on this planet worth it. I’m not staying because I feel like I have to, I’m staying because I want to... if you’ll have me.”
Although he knew others cared for him, Druig had never felt kindness quite like yours. As hard as he attempted to hide it, the thought of you leaving him to navigate the rest of his days on this planet alone terrified him. He tried to push you away for your own sake but as he finally tore his eyes away from the destruction below and set his gaze upon you at his side, he realized that he couldn’t let you go. Even if it was selfish of him, Druig wanted you and that was a fact he couldn’t deny.
Even without peaking inside your head, he could tell just by the sincerity in your eyes that you meant every word. Rather than saying words that he felt didn’t need to be said and pouring his heart out to you over a burning city, Druig only looked at you and nodded.
And just like that, wordlessly, as you set your own head upon his shoulder, your hidden feelings and unspoken promise was written into stone.
Neither you nor Druig could find it in yourself to tell Ajak the truth- that your planned nuptials were born of a mutually beneficial plan to survive the time period- so instead you spent the next week listening to Ajak gush about your “destined” relationship over dress shopping and choosing flowers. Every time she told stories about the two of you from centuries ago that she felt sealed your fate, you couldn’t help but feel guilty for lying to her... and eventually... for agreeing to rush into a marriage with someone who didn’t feel the same.
Sure, you had been the one to propose the idea- not thinking much about why the idea appealed to you so much- but as time went on, you felt as though everything finally clicked in your head.
You loved Druig as more than a friend, more than a partner in life- you loved him. You were in love with him. Ajak had thought that Druig treated you as though you created the sun and the stars, but if it came down to it, you would create your own personal universe just for the two of you to thrive.
But, despite all of that, you didn’t believe that Druig felt anything more for you than platonic intimacy.
You couldn’t be more wrong.
Druig had heard plenty of times throughout his long life that some people just seemed destined to meet and it was fate that they would end up together. Druig was never sure how much he believed that, but realizing the love he had for you made him a firm believer.
Everything you did made him melt. People had said that they held a special place for a certain someone in their heart, but he was sure his heart was completely and utterly devoted to you.
When it finally came time for the day of your wedding and he stood in front of the floor length mirror you had created in his quarters, he wasn’t sure what to feel. Druig had realized that he wanted to be called your husband- more deserving of a title like that, he thought, than Ikaris ever was- but he couldn’t escape the feeling that for the rest of the time you spent together there playing husband and wife that you would cringe whenever anyone referred to him as such- as your husband. The thought nearly killed him.
He had never thought himself to be the marrying type, but he was thoroughly convinced he would kill to have you call him your husband with nothing but the genuine kindness you had possessed and presented to him millions of times before.
When he had finally convinced himself to make his way to the altar, he whipped his head towards the door every time it opened, waiting for you to make your appearance on the other side. He hated how anxious he was. Druig was supposed to be calm, collected, unbothered and he couldn’t stand how nervous waiting for you to walk down the aisle made him.
But when you finally did, it was worth it.
He had had his breath taken away by you plenty of times before, but none had quite the same affect as watching you walk down the aisle in a delicate white dress, your eyes meeting his through the snowy mesh of your veil as a violinist played from the other end of the room.
You walked down slowly, Ajak’s arm looped through yours and, unbeknownst to the other, you both wanted so badly for what was happening to be true. To be real. To be a real wedding with the people you cared about most at your side.
When Ajak handed you off to Druig at the altar before taking her own seat, you couldn’t help the nagging feeling at the back of your head that this wasn’t right. You couldn’t allow Druig to marry you for some ruse when you wanted him wholly, completely and honestly to yourself.
When you turned to face him and your hands slipped into his, your heart began to race against your chest so loud you were sure everyone in the room could hear it. When you looked up to meet Druig’s eyes, you saw a kind of sadness in them that you couldn’t fully interpret, but you understood then that no matter how badly you wanted it... you couldn’t go through with marrying Druig. Not like this.
“I’m sorry.” You whispered, squeezing his hands as you felt tears prickling in the corners of your eyes.
Druig felt his heart drop to his stomach.
“What is it?” He asked without opening his mouth, too afraid his emotions would get the best of him if he allowed himself to speak, knowing where this was headed.
Glancing at your fellow eternals sat in the aisles behind you with confusion written all over their faces, you turned back to Druig and shook your head, your eyes focused on his.
“I can’t marry you, Dru.” You said, your voice catching in your throat. “Not like this. Not in this way.”
The words that he had been dreading hearing all day finally fell from your lips and he was sure that if he was capable of it, he would’ve passed out then and there.
Still standing in shock, Druig watched as your hand squeezed his and you turned to look at the crowd of eternals behind you before facing him once more.
“I lied.” You said staring up at the ceiling, willing yourself not to cry. “Druig and I had gotten caught alone together and we came up with this plan to fake our engagement so we could stay here in peace. I... I never thought it would get this far, or at least, that I would feel the way I do now when I got up here. But...”
Your gaze fell back on Druig and you could tell he was utterly confused on where you were going with this.
As you admired the way the sunlight peaking in through the mosaic windows cast colorful light against his skin, you tried your hardest to will yourself to say the words you had been preparing ever since you discovered your true feelings for the man in front of you.
“It’s okay.” You heard his shaky voice in your head saying. “You can do it.”
Slipping your hands out of his, you moved them to rest over his clothed chest.
“I love you, Dru.” You confessed, finally finding the courage. “I know I’ve said those words a million times, but this time it’s different. I love you. I love you more than the way the sun loves the moon or Sersi loves Ikarus. I love you more than I’ve loved this planet since the day I've arrived and I love you more than I can even possibly fathom. I want to marry you, Dru. I do. But I want you to want to marry me first.”
In all the time that Druig had been alive, he had never felt the way he had in that moment, and had certainly never been the subject of such an emotional profession of affection like that before.
It had always been said that you were the heart and he was the mind, but as Druig stood there, everything he had ever learned seemed to fall apart as he watched the most amazing woman he had ever met confess her undying love for him. Although he was at a loss for words, he had gained so much more in knowing your love.
He thought of the first moment he had ever laid eyes on you on the Domo and felt his heart surge with joy knowing how much the two of you had grown from then to now. He smiled to himself thinking of how innocent and naive he was then and that he never could’ve imagined he would find himself here, in this moment, but he wouldn’t change it for a single thing.
“I love you too.”
When you heard those words fall from his lips, you stared up at him in shock only to find his loving, smiling face staring down at you.
You watched as Druig took the edges of your veil delicately in between his fingertips and pulled it away from your face and behind your head. Moving his hands from the veil to your cheeks, he cupped your face and pressed his forehead against yours, the smile never leaving his face for even a second.
“I love you.” Druig said, meeting your eyes as your hands reached up to hold his. “And I want to marry you if you’ll still have me.”
“You do?” You laughed, so lost in complete bliss.
“For you?” He asked, pressing a kiss against your forehead. “I do.”
The ceremony passed by in such a complete blur with both you and your now husband so lost in each other that even the officiant could barely hold your attention at your own wedding. Although your relationship began in the most unexpected of circumstances, you wouldn’t change a thing because as long as you had Druig by your side, you were happy and that was all that mattered.
For your husband, however, he found that he loved the sound of calling you his wife coming from his mouth so much that he would remind you every time your lips met his of your commitment to one another. Druig’s favorite moments were when you laughed into his kiss as he told you that if he could go back in time, he would tell himself to pull it together and confess his love for you earlier because there was no greater feeling to him than being your husband, your partner, and even though your life was endless, he was sure he would never be able to get enough of it.

A curse or a blessing? Most likely a curse in your mind. Unable to express emotion without harming others.
This fic is inspired by @itsapeterthing post called sunshine. That post is just *chef kiss*
The readers like tia pepa from Encanto, the weather reflecting their mood and such.
That’s what he woke up to, a contrast to the soft morning sun he was used to in the Amazon.
Looking to his side, he hears the swooshing of the wind, blowing near everything in its way. That’s gonna be a pain to clean up.
Glancing to his other side he sees your spot empty, suggesting that you’re up and about, most likely causing havoc he’ll have to sort out.
With a grunt, he gets out of bed, taking a second to rub his eye before adding a layer of clothing to warm himself.
Taking another look out the window he sees flickers of lightning.
It didn’t take him long to realise that the weather reflects your emotion. Prime example of this would be when your cactus died, he had no idea how you managed that, but when a rain cloud appeared about your head he didn’t need any more proof that your power reflects your emotions.
Reaching the main room, he sees you sitting cross legged on the floor, the wind being extremely powerful, it’s roars almost hurting the eternals ears. The wind you’re creating is powerful enough to lift some objects, that once in the air, began to gravitate in a circle around the room, almost protecting you.
With a sigh, he closes his eyes. He hates going into your mind, but he couldn’t get to you. Despite the amount of times he’s done this, he’s still hesitant.
“My beautiful, beautiful Y/n”
He can’t help but smirk when as soon as he echos his voice in your mind, the storm calms. He strides towards you, as you silently sit on the floor.
“I know what you’re going to say” you sound annoyed, to which he smirks.
Knowing you’re probably going through a hard time right now, so he decides to tease you.
“You’re lucky its not a hurricane” you giggle when he said exactly what you said the first time you met.
He crouches down your level, matching you small smile. He leans over, butting your heads together, reminding you of the first time he met you.
The wind was strong, extremely strong. It almost blew Druig’s umbrella away, making him regret agreeing to go to Ajak’s home.
He wouldn’t mind seeing his ‘college friends’ again, but Ajak had befriended a mortal and became close friends.
He only tolerates the mortals in his Amazon home, and having to spend a few hours with a total strangers feels like licking a cheese grater to Druig.
“Welcome” Ajak’s strong voice calls out, welcoming Druig when he makes it to the house, with her standing at the door, welcoming him in.
“I’m sorry about the weather” The healer apologises to the grumpy man.
Druig looks at her questionably, not understanding what she meant.
“The others are in the living room, my dearest friend, Y/N is there”
He didn’t really care enough of a mortal, who’s going to die in his lifetime, to remember that name for long.
But when he walked in, he was tempted to walk straight back out, because when he saw a small thunder cloud he thought he was going mental.
“Ajak?” He questions, not taking his eyes off you. You looked simply beautiful, he almost thought you were a goddess.
“Y/n, you’ve got a cloud” when she said your name, your head spun to her, a light blush on your cheek. He could practically see your nervousness, the way you grabbed onto your hands, not very sure of yourself.
“You’re lucky is not a hurricane”

"Shhh." The sharp nip on the supple flesh of your thigh was enough to make you swallow a moan. "You don't want the others to hear, do you?"
Despite the harshness in Druig's bite, his voice was nothing but gentle. The telepath stressed his words with a wet kiss, laid just where he had left his mark on your soft skin.
"I'll be quiet, I promise." You didn't mean for your words to come out as whiny as they did, but seeing him on his knees, just as desperate as you were, had your head spinning. "Just… Please."
You felt him humming against your skin, the drag of his lips drawing closer to where you needed him the most. "So pretty when you beg."
Druig had barged into your room not minutes before that, a storm brewing in his once clear, blue eyes. You could tell he was frustrated - at something, or someone, you could already guess who but you made no effort to ask when, as soon as he crossed the threshold, he was all over you.
Before you had time to properly greet him, his mouth took over yours, greedily drinking you in. His skilled fingers peeled off your armor, piece by piece, in a haze, lust pouring out of his touch. He didn't stop until your body was bare, all for his smooth hands and lips and tongue to explore - just the way he liked it.
Your back hit the nearest wall, hands tangled in Druig's thick hair as he rained kisses down your body, desperately grasping your flesh, as if your presence - your touch, your smell, your taste - was the only thing grounding him in that moment. Knowing him, you knew that was true.
Spreading your legs with his large hands sprawled on your thighs, pulling one of your legs to rest on his shoulder, his mouth found your wet heat, kissing your cunt with wild abandon. You need to hold on as his tongue goes in and out of your entrance, leaving a trail of slick and spit dripping out of you and staining his mouth and chin.
Between this and the slurping, wet sounds that bounce off the walls of your quarters, the Eternal looks debauched, on his knees for you. The view is almost as hot as the feeling of his mouth on you, and when his lips closed on your clit and sucked it while he moaned at your taste, you had to stop another moan from escaping, biting your lip.
"Good girl. That's a good fucking girl."
You felt delirious, having to hold it all in. For once, you didn't care if anyone listened, if everyone knew what you and Druig did, every night behind closed doors. No secret was worth it when you wanted to show him just how good he made you feel. His praises only make you want him more, smooth voice vibrating through you like a song.
The sound of steps approaching from the hallway made you freeze, tightening the grip you had in his hair. Druig slowed down and stopped , still gripping your thighs firmly.
Suddenly, there were two knocks on the door, followed by Ajak's gentle voice calling your name. You looked down to see Druig's blue eyes fill with mischief, a grin on his lips, still wet from your juices, as he lifted a finger to them.
"Quiet, love. Remember?"
"Are you there, my sweet? We're almost ready to leave."
"Yes! I'll be right there, Ajak." You responded, and almost immediately, Druig flattened his tongue and tasted out again, dragging it from your entrance to your aching clit in one, long motion. "Right there, fuck." You whispered, unable to control yourself.
Make no mistake - Druig was the one on his knees, but you were the one at his mercy. And he delighted in reminding you of that.
"Have you seen Druig? I've been looking for him everywhere."
"N-no… I haven't!" You wondered if you sounded convincing, chest heaving and shaking from pure pleasure, grinding your hips down on your boyfriend's filthy mouth. "I haven't seen him since this morning."
You can barely hear the Eternal matriarch bid her goodbye, urging you to hurry, as she walked away. Druig's tongue became relentless, his kisses insistent - he was all you could feel, on your cunt, his strong hands were the only thing holding you up. Stars erupted in your vision as you came, strangling a moan.
As you came down, resting your head on the wall, Druig slowly got on his feet, kissing up your body and circling his arms around your waist. He let out a chuckle, gently bumping his nose on your cheek, watching your face, eyes still hazy and spent from your orgasm.
"You were so good for me, my love." He whispered, taking you in his arms and away from the wall. "My pretty, pretty love."
Flustered, you can only laugh softly, humming into the skin of his freckled shoulder. "Aren't I always?"
Without warning, you were pushed on top of the bed, falling into the silk sheets, while Druig wasted no time before crawling on top of you, still grinning. "Do you really want me to go there?"
Staring at his lips, and at the curve of his nose, and back at his icy, blue eyes. "Dru… We're gonna be late." You warned, but, deep down, there was no real intention of stopping him.
His grin only grew, white teeth like fangs, threatening to eat you alive. You feel his hand rise to your chest, and up to your neck, where his grip closed, just enough to make your head spin, and your core throb with want, suddenly feeling too empty - the intensity in his eyes alone were enough to do that.
"They can wait a little longer."

AFTER BIDDING GOODBYE to your family, you decided it was best to leave earth for now and join Makkari, Druig, and Thena to find other Eternals in the universe.
You were a little reluctant to leave Earth at first, knowing that you've lived a majority of your life there, but when Druig asked you to come along, you couldn't dare to refuse him.
It was nice to be back on the Domo, with some fond memories reminiscing back in your mind. You looked out the clear glass window as you left Earth, the beautiful blue planet getting smaller as you flew higher into the universe.
You heard a pair of footsteps increasing behind you and turning around, you saw Druig with his soft smile appearing on his face. He grabbed your waist gently and pulled you towards his body, the leather on his jacket touching your bare skin.
"What are you doing here all alone, my love?" His tone was filled with tease yet genuine curiosity.
You turned your body around, facing the clear window, Druig not letting go of your body. His body was now pressed against your back, his arms still embracing your waist.
"Just looking at the beautiful world we saved. It's really beautiful." Druig saw the bright smile on your face, making his mood even better. He always loved to see you happy, your smile being the light of his day.
"Yes, it is, but it's certainly not as beautiful as you, Y/n." You turned your head and looked at Druig in the eyes. As you stared into his sapphire eyes, Druig couldn't help but place a gentle kiss on your lips. His kisses always started as gentle, but there were times where his eagerness go the best of him which led to interesting events.
The two of you walked back to the main room, hand in hand where Thena and Makkari were at. Makkari gave you a smile while Thena gave you a gentle nod. You sat on top of one of the tables skimming through books, while Druig went to get a bag of chips.
When he got back, his mouth was already stuffed with them, making his cheeks look like a chipmunk. You couldn't help but capture this moment so you took out your phone and took a quick picture.
"I still don't understand why you're so obsessed with that cellular device while you should be obsessed with me." His snarky remark made you slap him gently across the chest while snatching the bag of chips out of his hands in the process.
He gave you a playful glare before placing a small kiss on top of your nose. "You're lucky I love you very much."
You continued to eat the bag of chips until the sudden sound of something down the halls of the Domo caught your attention. Everyone stood up, on guard for any possible threats that were to come. Druig instinctively put his body in front of you as a shield, not daring to let any threat come your way.
But when a troll appeared out of a portal, your head tilted in confusion. He didn't seem to be a threat, more like a character from a fairytale story.
"Um, you see that too, right?" You asked Druig while the troll continued to talk.
"Yeah, I see it too," Druig whispered softly to you, his body still in front of yours.
Still not sure what was happening, your mind wandered in confusion, but when another person came out of the portal, your inner thoughts dissipated.
"Hello, fellow celestials. My name is Eros, I am the brother of Thanos." When Eros mentioned Thanos, your eyes widened slightly, not seeing the resemblance at all.
You stood aside from Druig's protective demeanor and cautiously looked at the other celestial, curiosity laced in your eyes, not seeing how he was related to Thanos.
"Love, stay behind me," Druig's voice appears in your head. You gave him a look then looked back at Eros.
"It's okay, Dru. I don't think he's a threat," you thought back. Druig was about to pull your body behind him until you walked up to Eros, his eyes gleaming towards your presence.
"Well, well, well, hello beautiful. What's your name, darling?" Eros asked you, his voice clearly flirtatious. You let out a nervous laugh before answering him.
"I'm Y/n, that's Makkari, Thena, and Druig." Eros gave a warm smile to everyone in the room, but when his vision went towards Druig, all the Eternal did was glare at him, not liking the way he was looking at his girlfriend.
"Nice to meet you all." Eros paused and looked back at you, flirt laced in his eyes once again. "Especially you, doll."
That's when Druig lost it. He didn't like the way this man was looking at you and the nicknames he was giving you pissed him off even more. He was the only one that could call you those named and the sudden urge of possessiveness overwhelmed him.
"Sorry, mate, she has a boyfriend and her boyfriend doesn't like when other people flirt with her," Druig said, his arm possessively wrapped around your waist. You couldn't help but smirk at Druig's claim on you. It made your heart skip a beat.
"Oh, well my apologizes, you have a very beautiful girlfriend though." Eros attempted to walk by you and Druig, your boyfriend's glare still digging into Eros' skull.
But as Eros walked by you, he sneakily winked at you hoping Druig didn't see, but oh boy, was he wrong.
When Druig saw his flirts didn't stop, Druig nearly pounced on him, but you held him back, preventing him from doing so.
"Can I kill him?" Druig asked you nonchalantly. Your eyes widened and you stood in front of Druig, not letting him get closer to Eros.
"No! Don't even think about it."
"But I didn't like the way he was staring at you, love," Druig admitted, finally looking into your eyes.
"Dru, I love you and only you." You pressed a soft kiss on his lips, him returning it swiftly.
"I know you love me and I love you so much, sweetheart. It's just that I don't trust him." Knowing Druig wouldn't stop worrying about you, you negotiated with him.
"Look how about this, if he tries anything again, you can just mind control him, okay?" Druig let out a genuine smile, yet it was filled with mischief and temptation.
"Deal." Druig kissed you on the cheek before walking back into the room with the other Eternals, his eyes still on Eros just in case he dared to do anything.
posessive hand holding n angry kisses w druig??
A/N: You all seemed to like the last piece I wrote about Druig making reader jealous... so here's some jealous Druig for you! <3
He wasn’t jealous. He was unbothered.
That was what he told himself the first time he saw you talking to Ikaris during dinner.
The second time, it was just bitterness that you weren’t talking to him.
The third time, it had turned a little into anger that you were ignoring him.
It absolutely wasn’t jealousy. Druig wasn’t a jealous person. He really wasn’t. He was calm and mostly rational and he kept his head screwed on tight. There was no reason for him to be jealous of the fact that you were getting very close to Ikaris lately. None at all.
Especially considering the way you two had already been dating for over 700 years. You’d already confessed your love to one another, and everyone else knew that – Ikaris included.
The thing was, it was entirely possible to fall out of love. Druig had noticed Sersi and Ikaris drifting apart these days, so maybe it was happening with you, too. You were drifting towards Ikaris and away from Druig. The thought set his teeth on edge.
The fourth time it happened, Druig allowed himself to think that he might be a little jealous. He was sat watching you talking to Ikaris across the room, the way your body was turned towards him, entirely engrossed in the conversation. There was a look of serious concentration on your face and a smile on Ikaris’ lips.
Druig had to intervene.
He stood up and manoeuvred his way through the room until he reached the pair of you. Neither of you looked up at his appearance as he sat down beside you. It was instinct and a little bit of jealously that made him reach over and take your hand in his, effectively inserting himself into the conversation without saying a word.
You stopped in the middle of your sentence and glanced back at him.
“Oh, hello,” you smiled at the sight of your boyfriend.
Ikaris gave a nod of his head. “Druig.”
In return, Druig didn’t so much as look at Ikaris. “Can I borrow you?” He asked, though it wasn’t much of a question and was much more of a statement. He’d already decided that he would be borrowing you.
“Yeah, okay,” you agreed. “I’ll be back in a bit, Ikaris.”
Ikaris watched, slightly amused at Druig’s obviously jealous behaviour, as he led you away from where you’d been sitting. He was still holding your hand tightly, not planning on letting it go any time soon.
You walked until you left the building, stepping outside into the warm summer air.
“What’s going on?” You asked as Druig finally stopped walking.
He tilted his head to the side as he looked at you, entirely unaware of the way he was feeling. Bitter, a little bit angry, a little bit hurt and confused and a tiny smidge jealous.
You let out a small laugh. “C’mon, tell me what was so important, Druig.”
Druig stared at you for a few more moments, watching as you watched him, confused and a little bit amused. The smile on your face, the way your hair moved in the slightly warm breeze that occasionally drifted by.
He advanced towards you, pushing you back against the wall of the building, hands moving to cup your cheeks as he kissed you. His kiss was rough, passionate and… angry? You were confused as you kissed him back, yet you did so anyway. He’d always been a good kisser, but he’d also always known where to draw the line between too rough and too gentle. You could feel that he was diving a little over the line today.
When he pulled away from you, he rested his forehead on yours. You were both breathing heavily, trying to catch your breath, when he finally spoke.
“Are you fallin’ out of love with me?” His voice was quiet.
“Am I– what?” You breathed.
He repeated himself a little more forcefully. “If you are, just tell me.”
Confusion left you lost for words. What the hell was he talking about? You, falling out of love with him was just about the most impossible, unbelievable and ridiculous thing you’d ever heard him say before.
You gently removed his hands from the side of your face and stepped away from him, needing a little bit of space to get your mind back in order. Sitting down on the small brick wall leading into the bar, you stared up at him.
“Druig, what on earth would make you think I don’t love you anymore?”
He turned, leaning up against the wall where you’d been only moments before. “Since you don’t seem to know, I suppose I’ll have to enlighten you,” he huffed. “You and Ikaris. Hanging out all the time. Spending all these hours together, talking, talking, talking. Swear you spend more time with him than you do with me these days. It isn’t rocket science to figure that out, now is it?”
Your eyebrows furrowed at his words, yet you also found yourself wanting to start laughing at the same time. Ikaris? Druig thought you were in love with Ikaris. It was baffling.
“Don’t laugh,” Druig spotted the look on your face. “He’s having trouble with Sersi, y’know? He’s probably looking at you like his next conquest, despite the fact that he knows you and I have been together for years. Always disliked me a bit, he has.”
Sighing, you stood up and stepped towards him, taking his hands in yours.
“Ikaris and Sersi are having problems. That is why I’ve been spending so much time with him, but not for the reason you think,” you started. “He just wants relationship advice. He saw that we’ve been together for so long without many problems and wanted to know if I had any advice. And we’ve been talking every dinner about it because it helps him, having someone else to talk to about it. Someone with relationship experience.”
Druig stared at you, unmoving and unblinking.
You moved to sling your arms over his shoulders. “It’s cute that you were jealous, but you don’t have to be. You have always had my heart, and you always will. For as long as you want it, it’s yours.”
He scoffed. “I was not jealous.”
“You were definitely jealous.”
“I was not. I was reasonably concerned that the love of my life was leaving me.”
“That’s jealousy, Druig.”
“It isn’t! I’m not cute, either. And I wasn’t–”
You cut him off by pressing your lips to his. His hands instinctively moved to your hips as he kissed you back. The kiss was less forceful this time. More like the ones you usually shared, like all the comforts of home.
“Next time you wanna kiss me like that, all angry and passionate like you did before,” you muttered, pulling away. “Can you at least give me a warning?”
Druig nodded, leaning in to kiss you once more. Your lips felt like home to him. His angry kiss before had all been him trying to see if he still felt like home to you. And he did.
“Now,” you stepped back from him. “I think you owe Ikaris an apology for your blunt attitude when you dragged me away from him mid-conversation.”
He rolled his eyes and took your hand in his again, entwining your fingers together. “Never gonna happen, my love.”

Kingo had to turn the television in his plane to high volume. It was a war movie so the sound of the helicopter appearing on the scene, plus the sound of the guns silenced the noises coming from the plane's small bathroom. Sprite was ready to kick the door and ask you guys to be more discreet, but Phastos grabbed her arm and sat her back in the seat, while shaking his head and telling her that it wasn't the best idea.
"Couldn't they wait to land?" asked Sprite, annoyed.
The answer, according to Druig was: No, he couldn't wait to land.
No one minded that you guys were making out in your respective seats while the rest were having fun with Kingo or Gilgamesh. You and Druig had been together for a while. And by "a while", considering you were eternal, that meant a couple of centuries.
No one noticed when he grabbed your hand and you both went into the bathroom. By the time they noticed your absence, it was too late.
Druig pinned you against the bathroom door, pressing his body against yours. The place was very small, but you two managed to get comfortable.
"I'm starving," he said, kissing your neck.
"Kingo has a tray full of food," you replied with a mischievous smile, stroking his arms.
"That's what I feed on later, now I want something else."
"Dinner is served."
Saying that, you sat on the sink with your legs spread wide. Druig's eyes, were glowing but not like when he used his powers, but with lust. His dilated pupils gave evidence of that.
Druig would have loved the process of removing your clothes to be faster. But once he succeeded, he found what he was looking for he felt like he was touching the sky with his hand.
Druig bent down a little and began kissing your inner thighs. His moist, warm lips ran over every inch of skin they could find.
When he reached your pussy, he began to kiss you there delicately. Just feeling the tickle that his lips produced on the most sensitive part of your body, made every corner of your body, start to tremble
"Delicious, my love. You are perfect." he murmured, barely looking up to see you. You were leaning against the sink with your head thrown back.
He put his head between your legs again and continued kissing your pussy, only this time one of his thumbs began rubbing your clit.
Although you covered your mouth with your hand, a moan escaped your throat. You could feel Druig smiling against your sex.
"Was that for me?" he asked.
"Please" you begged, "just go on..."
"As you command, princess. You're perfect you know? Fucking perfect and beautiful."
Along with his tongue licking you gently, Druig inserted a finger inside you and began to penetrate you with increasing speed. A second finger entered you, causing you to moan, which you no longer tried to hide.
But when you really felt yourself dying of pleasure was when he replaced his fingers with his tongue completely. Druig spread your legs apart with his hands to get better access to you and began to fuck you with his mouth.
Druig was delighted. He had been wanting to do that since you were waiting in the hangar to take off and now he had succeeded. He could feel your juices entering his mouth and it tasted like the elixir of the gods.
In all those centuries that you had been with him, he had never tired of tasting you. He was fascinated by it.
You put a hand on his head and your fingers clutched his hair. Druig increased the intensity and speed with which he was eating you and that made your whole body begin to tremble at the onset of the obvious orgasm.
Druig felt your entire cum end up inside his mouth and he didn't let a single drop, fall to the floor.
"That was... amazing" you said with your breath hitching, as he stood up and helped you get dressed.
"You are amazing."
Druig kissed you and you could still taste part of you in him. But that didn't stop you from reciprocating his kiss.
As you came out of the bathroom, everyone was looking at you. Druig and you sat down, as if nothing had happened.
"I hope you were kind enough to clean the bathroom after your... chores," Kingo said, raising an eyebrow.
"I don't know what you're talking about." said Druig, looking at them with a serious expression on his face "We didn't move from here."
As the rest rolled their eyes, Druig licked the corner of his mouth, looking at you. He couldn't wait to eat again.

pairing: druig x (f)immortal!reader
summary: while waiting for your husband to arrive, a man just won't let you be and druig gets to flex a lil
warnings: not proofread, annoying men, druig in a button-up with the sleeves rolled up 😩
Eternal life can get a little boring. If you aren’t taking up a hyperactive profession like Kingo, you end up with a lot of free time.
This dilemma is exactly what led you and Druig to get involved in some gambling situations that were a little bit shady, to say the least. Though there really wasn’t much risk as you were very well off, and if you somehow weren’t - you had a husband whose specialty was mind control. Tonight, the occasion was the evening races.
Though it wasn’t your favorite, it was still enjoyable - especially because of the extensive selection of food and drinks. It had been decided that you’d meet Druig there because he had a surprise that he wanted to prepare for you. That was what ended you up in the VIP cocktail lounge alone, practically surrounded by a pack of Fortune 500 heirs looking for a sweet treat.
Which is most definitely what you were. You were definitely looking forward to when he showed up because these men couldn’t seem to have the courtesy to act like they weren’t looking. You wore a gorgeous slip gown, a black draping cut of satin that stopped just above your knee; The thin straps trailed down to the “back” of the dress (if you could call it that). The way the satin fell, the majority of your back was exposed, being tickled by stray hairs that betrayed your updo.
Absentmindedly, you sipped on your cocktail from a straw as you watched the introductions of tonight’s lineup on the TV.
“Hey sugar,” A man approaches you, claiming the stool next to yours. You only spare a second-long glance at the man. He’s the epitome of a trust fund kid, given a little too much status that was never put to good use. It's just so easy to see. As the bartender passes, you raise your finger - asking for another round.
“You busy tonight?” He leans his broad figure closer to you.
“No thank you.” You say, pulling your newly refilled drink closer and putting your straw into it. Turning to the TV, you narrow down who you want to put your bets on.
“You’re not busy tonight?” He chuckles, “Well that’s good to hear. Why don’t you come join us at our table?”
You roll your eyes, ignoring the man. Druig come quick, you think. You can hear the man order a pair of drinks before he continues bothering you.
“It's okay hon, you don’t have to play hard to get. Think about my offer,” He slides the drink into your peripheral vision.
As soon as he’s gone, you make eye contact with the bartender. You motion at the drink and push it towards him. He nods at you and goes back to polishing.
Thankfully, a bit of time passes and you haven’t been harassed. You had moved onto nibbling on some chopped fruits and berries.
The familiar feel of those unusually soft fingers spread across your bare back. Druig presses a gentle kiss to your shoulder, “Hello, darling.”
“Hey, stranger.” You murmur, turning to meet his gaze. He is dressed so devilishly handsome in his dress pants and button-up. The sleeves were folded up to his elbows, showing off his toned forearms. From behind him, you can see the man from earlier approaching. Druig can see the irritation in your features and turns to see what you were looking so disgusted at.
“Hey man,” The man approached your husband, “Hate to kill your party, but she’s with me.”
Druig’s blue eyes spark with mischief. He raises his brows at you, pretending to be surprised, “Is she now? She didn’t tell me that.”
“No problem mate, she’s a quiet one if you haven’t noticed,” The man was very good at acting nonchalant, you’d give him that.
“Ah, I see,” Druig nodded, but still his hand rested on your back. An amused smile had begun creeping onto his lips, “I think if she was with you, then maybe she wouldn’t have been alone here at the bar. Don’t ya think, mate?”
Druig was mocking the man now. He leaned forward using his opposite arm to lean onto the bar, but more so create a barrier between the man and you. The man's face grew red and then he spotted Druig’s golden wedding band, “What would your wife think of you, man?”
You bit the inside of your cheek, fighting a smile.
“Oh, you know what? Let’s ask her,” The man’s face contorted. Druig turned to you, “Darling, what do you think of me?”
“Wha-“ The man began. You lifted your arm that was earlier out of sight, inspecting your nails for dirt that was never there. Oh, but there was your ring. A relatively massive diamond that sparkled brightly.
“I think the world of you, baby,” You smile, placing a kiss on his cheek. Druig turns to the man, clapping him on the shoulder. The embarrassment was engraved into the man’s features.
“Better luck next time mate.”
The man stumbled away, not looking back once. Druig held your hand steady as you stepped down from the stool, just to pull you against him. His plush lips press a kiss to your temple, “I really can’t leave you alone can I?”
“It’s endless,” You laugh, resting your hand on his shoulder blade. You can feel his muscles flex under the fabric, causing you to pull your bottom lip in between your teeth. “Besides, I think I prefer being by your side.”
Druig smirks at you, using his other hand to tuck a strand of your hair behind your ear and gently brushing his finger over the earrings he had bought you. “I’m not really complete without you by my side, am I?”
You shake your head, smiling smugly. “Not at all.”
“Well, come on then, let’s go get into some trouble,” He grins, pulling your hand up to his face. Your husband holds your gaze, giving your knuckles a kiss and shooting you a wink.
This man was going to be the death of you.

“nice fighting out there,” ikarus smiled, his body basically pressed against yours in the thin halls of the domo, both of you out of breath after spending the last hour fighting deviants. he was right, you did really kill it out there, hell, you saved his life, not that he’d ever admit it. he was so close to you, purposefully, leaving you no room as he towered over you.
“thanks,” you sighed, your chest heaving, half because you were trying to catch your breath and half because his presence made you nervous, “you too.”
the battle was brutal, deviants seeming to appear by the dozens. you were just glad to be back in the domo with your druig… who little did you know, was watching the little conversation you were having with ikarus, his blood boiling.
ikarus’s eyes had something dangerous in them, you couldn’t decipher it but it was… unnerving, “ya know, if you ever want to train with me, let me know. it’d be a pleasure.”
“pleasure is all mine,” you smiled sweetly. you didn’t mean it, you were just trying to be polite.
with a wink, he excused himself leaving you a little shocked…? confused…? whatever the feeling was, you didn’t like it.
before you could start moving to find druig, he appeared right in front of you, slamming you into the wall you had just peeled yourself off of.
“dru,” you gasped, your eyes widening at his aggression.
“what is it? surprised to see your fucking boyfriend? oh darling, how dumb are you?” his voice was angry but his smirk was still plastered on his face, “you know i live here right? if i were you, i’d be a little more sneaky with ikarus.” his jaw clenched saying his name. it was like if his eyes flashed red for a second.
“dru, i don’t know what you’re talking about,” you said, intending to sooth him, “he and i have nothing, you know i’m yours.”
that just made him angrier. way angrier.
he grabbed your arm, his grip harsh and unforgiving, tugging you towards your shared bedroom. he shoved you towards the bed, slamming the door behind him.
“dru,” you sighed, sitting on the bed nervously.
“it seems like you’ve forgotten who you belong to.”
your breath hitched, rendered speechless as he strode towards you, positioning you on the bed the way he desired, like you were just a toy – his toy.
in a flash, your clothes were off and you were just laying there, helpless under him. druig still had his clothes on, black fabric making his beautiful blue eyes shine all that brighter. the difference between you two was degrading, exhilarating. there he was, still dressed, looming over you while you gazed up at him – hunter and prey.
“druig, please,” you whimpered, the heat between your legs growing more and more.
“well won’t you look at that,” he mused, his accent deepened with lust, “tell me what you want.”
your lips parted, what did you want? his tongue works wonders. his fingers render you helpless. his cock… oh… but what fun would it be to just obey? your smirk grew. a part of you was begging for you to not, screaming that it was a horrible idea. you pushed those thoughts away, a dangerous glint in your eyes, “ikarus.”
if looks could kill, you’d be dead.
the sound that came out of you was unnatural as druig’s hand flew to your throat, constricting your breathing in a way that had you clawing at his hand. he smiled at you manically, “what did you say, y/n? care to repeat that?”
you knew you could get out of his hold if you wanted to, overpower him if you must, but oh, this was fun.
“i said,” you gasped, air barely entering your lungs due to the brutal grip against your throat, “i. want. ikarus.”
he brought his face close to yours, “you’re walking a dangerous line here, doll. cut it out before i make you.”
oh, he was making this way too easy, “i’d like to see you try.”
his expression immediately changed, like something reset in his brain. the tension in his furrowed eyebrows dissipated. the anger disappeared. he seemed… calm? you could still tell the gears were turning in his head, trying to come to a conclusion that you will regret later but for now, he seemed eerily at ease.
the grip on your throat finally released as he made his way down your body, trailing alarmingly gentle kisses all over your body in his path. he stopped in a couple places, leaving marks where he saw fit. your neck. your collar bone. one on your chest. on your inner thighs. taking his sweet time to get to where you wanted him most.
your breath hitched when he finally reached it. he licked up and down your slit, causing your hands to fly to grab his hair. trying to push him into you, make him give you what you were craving. druig shoved your hands off of him with a warning, that angry tone returning, “touch me one more time and i’ll stop.”
you obeyed, digging your hands into the sheets, your grip tightening as he dove in. you nearly sobbed at the pleasure coursing through your bones. any soreness from the battle just hours before had dissipated, pure sensation pumping through your veins.
“mine,” he muttered into your skin, “fuck, you taste so fucking good. all this is mine.”
he knew every single way to make you weak, to leave your hips bucking and your back arching and it was clear he was gonna utilize every single thing he knew.
“yours,” you whimpered, trying your best to still your trembling legs, “all yours. fuck. gonna cum.”
you could feel druig’s smirk without looking at him and you feared he was going to stop, leave you dangling right before you passed the gate to cloud nine. you prepared yourself for disappointment but he just. kept going. forcing your orgasm out of you.
with a cry of his name, surely loud enough for ikarus to hear, you came all over his tongue, feeling like you were floating. your vision was blurred and your ears were ringing as everything crashed down.
when you finally came back down to earth, druig was still lapping at your cunt. your hands nearly tangled themselves in his hair, so ready to pull his head back from your sensitive clit but you stopped, knowing that things would be much worse if you disobeyed again.
“druig please,” you mumbled, throwing your head back as that overstimulating pleasure became borderline pain, “dru, i came already. you- you can stop.”
he stopped for a second, chuckling, “oh baby, you really thought i was done with you? we have all night, y/n, let’s give ikarus something to dream about.”
