im writing this while im shaking and crying so i don't know if something i say will be misspelled but i feel the need to tell everyone who went thru so much shit just for being asexual, i feel you. I feel you so much and it hurts as hell, i still do therapy to heal myself for so many things i went thru when i was so young and had no idea that "there was nothing wrong with me. I could have said no. But it's not my fault i didn't said no. It was not my fault for being manipulated to do stuff i didn't wanted and that just made me uncomfortable and disgusted. It was not my fault and there is nothing wrong with me." For everyone who's aspec, aro, ace, aroace you guys are amazing, you are valid, you exist and your existence is enough there is nothing wrong with you and you are not alone. I felt alone and i still feel alone for being aroace to this day, im still figuring things out but i know im not alone. I know that. Not only that but also there was a lot of xenophobia and racism happening towards us, brasilians. This is awful, makes me feel sick and heartbroken. But im also proud to be who i am, im proud to be brasileira im proud to be aroace. Your hateful comments makes you a sad existence, it's terrifying to know that people can say so much shit without a single feeling of empathy. To everyone who felt hurt, who had to deal with anxiety, everyone who also had a hard time seeing so much hate, to you who still in pain, im so so sorry, im so sorry this is happening but we are in this together, you are not alone. Don't be afraid to be yourself, be proud of your nationality be proud of your roots and don't be afraid to bloom be who you are, be proud of your sexuality be proud of your identity be proud of your existence. Im so happy you are alive. A lot of hugs and love, we need it.

Listening to a Dr Who podcast (not one anyone here has recommended to me, in fact I think I heard about it through a tumblr post,) and it's reminding me why I almost never listen to Dr Who podcasts or watch Dr Who youtube videos. It's because I just can't stand hearing so much objectively wrong information. Maybe it's due to Doctor Who being such a large and long-lived franchise, I know that I can misremember and get things muddled. But surely if you're publishing something you'd want to double check that you're not confidently emphasising incorrect facts about even basic things... and yet I feel like I see it with surprising frequency. It drives me crazy, please get a fact checker.

i’m not going to comment on the darksaber meta post going around, but it states that the darksaber is being used as a fun glowy weapon like a lightsaber just without the emotional regulation requirement… and i could be wrong, but i’m not sure if that’s true? at least not in the mandalorian.

the darksaber does have an emotional regulation component to it, as far as i understand? you can’t just wield it willynilly, you have to clear your mind and have a clarity of conviction and purpose, and, judging by the people we’ve seen claim it and actually use it well, a sense of duty to protect and serve. how and what you want to serve seems less relevant to the darksaber.

from the way it’s presented in new media (and without me knowing the details of its construction), it feels like it’s meant to be a meshing of the two cultural viewpoints from, presumably, the point of view of tarre viszla: when you act, you must act with a clear mind and conviction, in an effort to solve conflict, to unify. to cleave.

anyway, i found the rest of the post interesting, and i don’t even know if i disagree with the rest of it. i just bumped on this one point.
