sketches of (one of) my blades mc eva (+ tyril LOL) for @choicesoctober :D i have blades mcs for each of the LIs so here is my tyrilmancer mc which i also currently use for blades 2. some basics:

human, he/she, bisexual, gender is ?????? but mostly fem-presenting

best friends with mal

most proficient with the bow

ends up living in undermount with tyril/where ever tyril goes. their interracial relationship causes a stir amongst the elves

tends to use light magic a lot

dies of old age and traumatizes tyril forever LOL

i also came up with lore for an AU where eva isn't MC and meets tyril and the others in a different way. details under the cut ↓

eva is born to a poor family in whitetower. he lives in the nooks and crannies where she becomes fast friends with mal and his sister.

he's taken in by the temple of light at age 8 after they find his magical affinity. he lives at the temple for a while before escaping it at age 20. her escape causes an issue for the temple because of her practice of magic outside of temple conventions.

she leaves whitetower and stays in port parnassus.

when eva hears of nia's reformation of the temple he goes back to whitetower to see the change. he's skeptical but hopefully optimistic for the change nia is doing. there he meets mal again and decides to help around his and nia's orphanage.

that's also where eva meets tyril. it takes a few years but they finally get together, but the relationship is on-and-off. they don't end up together for good.

tyril is the elven equivalent of 25; eva is 30 (in this AU).

Choices Secret Pal December 2023, edits by me

Here's my creation for the Choices Secret Pal event by @choicesfandomappreciation!

For @stars-are-within-me, I've made some edits of their couples in formalwear for a masquerade ball! Astra (BOLAS MC) and Nia, Carina (COP MC) and Trystan, and Eva and Maya (Hero MC)!

Well except uh... yeah Eva and Maya kinda got caught up saving some people earlier and were kinda rushed to get to the ball ahaha

Well as fun as it would be to start a new fashion trend... first rule of superheroes is keep your double identity secret. Let's just hope the others don't make a big deal outta it later...

truly not sorry but once again thinking abt miranda/mc/mia in RL. i need them SO bad. like, 2 of the most morally unsound persons (Mia & Miranda) + their little meow meow. Knowing both are so possessive and destructive (TO OTHERS) when they love and instead of running, fully embracing the chaos of it. Loving them despite their delusions of grandeur, the crimes, the secrets, and the deaths (+ undeaths) caused (or ordered!) by their hands. Acknowledging this is fucked up but you can't help it. Lovingly bitching abt their fights but fully done and gone to do anything else but to soothe and continue loving them, because after all those years of waiting and doing and redoing everything to be perfect was worth it for this.

also did i mention being their little meow meow. sorry Miranda, MC was the original gremlin in the relationship and Mia being the fucked up feral racoon she is now is not solely by her doing, MC was and IS the enabler in both relationships that it bled over sm and OUGHJJJJJHHHHhhhh im being so emo abt three (3) women being utter menaces frfr

What would Minako’s interactions with the obey me cast be if they ever met?

Minako:

When Minako found herself in hell she came to the conclusion that she finally died for real, but she's too tired to care. Belphegor can relate. (She did not die, a classic potion mishap happened.)

Starting with my Obey Me!MC, Eva Dilag, they're instant BFFs. A pair of witches sharing spells. Minako has a tiny crush on Eva, but Eva is already spoken for (*cough* Lucifer *cough*). They share their own grievances about being involuntary therapists for a bunch of emotionally stunted men. Poor Minako has to deal with 20+ plus boys and perhaps an entire school while Eva deals with seven.

By the way, Eva has a sheep form, which Minako absolutely adores as an animal lover. She's so small and fluffy!

Lucifer is a hard-ass, but that doesn't really bother Minako that much. He can be a bit extreme with his punishments though, which Minako hates. I mean he blew up a bathroom once during his second birthday event because he couldn't find the matching necklace that he got on with MC. Maybe it's because he looks and acts like Minako's current father figure that she tolerates him (I'm talking about Crewel).

It's back and forth with Mammon. He's an annoying little shit who will do anything to have money in his hands, but sometimes, Minako feels that being the punching bag of the family is a little undeserved. It's okay though. If Mammon does steal something from her, Minako is actually just as fast as Mammon, whether she's on her feet or on her broom. And she packs a punch too.

Levi is almost Idia 2.0 for Minako, but she does notice a few differences. Idia has a hidden smugness and sassiness to him underneath his doom and gloom, whereas Levi is more blunt and direct with how he feels. Levi gets so shy around Minako because a pretty girl is talking to him, and that she's surprisingly scary for a human.

Satan is impressed with Minako's intelligence. Minako is a little bit of a literature nerd, especially when she was a kid, so they both enjoy sharing book recommendations. They like to get into some playful debates and banters about things.

Asmo thinks that Minako is adorable! He tried seducing her, but Minako was able to straight-up will herself not to fall for his hypnosis (she's learned her lesson after the Scarabia incident and tried to pick up Occlumency). Well, at least they can have makeovers together. Minako has some fancy cosmetics that Vil gifted her, and Asmo has rare and exotic cosmetics made by demons.

Beel is so huggable and sweet. Now, please stop eating tonight's dinner. Your brothers are hungry too. All Minako wants is a buff man with a heart of gold, not necessarily for a boyfriend, at least as a close friend who lets her climb on him like a monkey so that she can ride his shoulders and hug when she's sad.

Minako begged Belphie once to help her get a good night's sleep. She might as well enjoy it now when she can while she's away from Night Raven.

Diavolo is just so... imposing. Minako never expected the future demon king to be childlike, but he feels dangerous at the same time. People are multi-faceted, so are demons.

I'm sorry about this Jade, but I think Minako likes Barbatos more. Finally, someone reliable with no ulterior motives. Just a fairly normal guy who will serve you tea not laced with poisonous mushrooms. Wait, what do you mean you predicted that Minako would come to Devildom?

Minako has a crush on Simeon too. Can you blame her? A gorgeous writer, big-hearted, and fatherly towards his ward, Luke.

Luke and Minako are almost the same height. What else is new? She has a soft spot for children, so you'll find her patting him on the head often, much to Luke's annoyance.

Solomon is kind of odd, but Eva's known him for a long time and so have her ancestors. The three humans together are a chaotic bunch and are a terror to the Devildom.

That's all I have. I'm not going to do Mephistophelees, Thirteen, or Raphael because I don't know them that well.

7. Eva Mendoza - Y'all haven't seen much of her yet... she will talk... in fact, she could talk your ear off, but it's not a common occurrence. 8. Ethan Ramsey - Sure, he talks. But he doesn't require a lot of it, and he really doesn't want to hear a lot of it from most people. lol (My vision of Sienna Trinh would be here - definitely a talker, but also content to sit in peace. Not my character, but @storyofmychoices Olivia Hadley also appears in my T/C world at times, and I picture her here. She'll definitely talk, but she can also keep quiet and observe.) WHISPERED IN THE SOUNDS OF SILENCE

9. Eli Sipes - Definitely the quietest of any of my pixelated people. But - he will talk Zoe's ear off on occasion - no one believes her, but it's true. (Not my OC; he belongs fully to @mydemonsdrivealimo, but since Jensen Valentine does visit my T/C universe, he's here too. Also, Kayla Carrick. The youngest in that family - she wouldn't be able to get a word in edgewise even if she wanted to - and I don't think she wants to.)

Word count: 1,187

Summary: Several years before the events in Wake the Dead, Troy surprises Eva with a late-night outing within the confines of the Tower.

A/N: In this story Eva is 17, in her last year at school. Troy is about 2 years older and just recently started working at the supply depot.

Eva tosses and turns around on her lumpy mattress, sleep elusive. She had gotten expelled. Again. Gotten into a fight with her sister over it. Again.

“Eva, for crying out loud, it’s the second time this month! You have got to be more careful. You know how things are here.”

“But Brynn, I don’t get why we can’t even talk about how things were, before. Maybe if we knew more, we could make this place a bit better for everyone.”

Brynn sighs “I know you mean well, lil sis, but the leaders of the Tower are clear about the rules, whether we agree with them or not. And trust me, we don’t want to get kicked out into the wilderness.”

She sighs, trying to will herself to sleep. Maybe she should hold her tongue more, but it infuriates her that the Tower leaders only care about teaching them the basics for survival – any form of critical thinking frowned upon, worse, punished.

Toc. Toc.

A knock on the door shakes her from her reverie. She opens a crack to find a grinning Troy.

“What the hell, Troy? It’s the middle of the night!” She whispers, glancing back to make sure Brynn hasn’t stirred.

“You don’t say! Come on, I have something to show you. You’re gonna like it.” He winks.

“I’m in enough trouble as it is. Can’t it wait until tomorrow?”

“Afraid not, it’s kind of a middle of the night thing.” He grins wider. “And, we’ve gotta go now if we don’t want to get caught. So, what’dya say, Archer, up for a little adventure?”

She frowns at him, but her curiosity is piqued.

“Wait a sec.”

She shuts the door on his pleased face and quickly pulls on a sweater, sweatpants and boots. She grabs a flashlight and sneaks out into the dark hallway, glancing one last time at Brynn’s sleeping form.

She’s so gonna kill me.

As soon as she shuts the door, Troy takes her hand, leading them down several service hallways then up a series of rickety fire exit stairs. They duck into the shadows a few times to avoid patrolling guards.

“So where exactly are you taking me?” She whispers as they continue to climb ever higher.

“It’s a surprise.”

“Troy.”

“We’re almost there!” He winks.

Sure enough, a few minutes later he stops them in front of a steel door high up one of the Tower’s outer walls. He pulls out a key from his pocket and unlocks, pushing it open with a flourish.

They enter a small room stacked with dusty cases filled with weapons, munitions and other military equipment. At the far end, a small balcony overlooks the forest surrounding the Tower.

“Troy, what is this place?”

“An ammunitions depot. They have a bunch of these scattered around the tower to defend against drones. And in case of security breaches from inside the tower, I wager… Only Blackstock’s most loyal have access keys.”

“Look at you, the ultimate insider!” Eva smirks at her friend, punching him lightly on the shoulder.

“Nah, I just know people who know people. The surprise is over here. Come, take a look.” Troy leads her towards the exposed balcony.

She gasps as she takes in the scene.

The balcony is perched high above the ground, providing a bird’s eye view of the hills and valleys surrounding the Tower.

She looks out at the snow-covered mountains and valleys. Millions of twinkling stars lighting the night.

Her breath catches as she notices bright shimmering lights in hues of green, blue and purple, dancing across the sky.

“It’s beautiful.” She whispers, stunned.

“Yeah. They call them northern lights. I read about them in some magazine. I was telling Sam and the guys about them, and she told me she’d seen these strange lights while out patrolling the past few nights. Convinced her to lend me the key to this place. It’s pretty amazing, I never thought we’d see them so far south.”

“Isn’t Sam that brunette guard you’ve been flirting with?” Eva smirks, teasing. “You charmed her into lending you the keys?”

“What can I say, I’m irresistible.” Troy grins, puffing out his chest.

“If you say so, Hassan.” She smirks.

Eva looks out at the magical scenery, captivated. The aurora dance in the skies in an ethereal, pulsating rhythm, reflected on the white blanket of snow covering the fields and mountains.

She shivers a little as a cold gust buffets their small balcony. Troy pulls out a blanket from his bag. He sits down on the ledge and beckons her over, wrapping them both snuggly.

“You came prepared.”

He shrugs “Figured it’d get cold out here.”

They sit in companionable silence for a while, in awe at the delicate dancing ribbons of light. Relishing in the peace and quiet of the outside world.

“One day, Troy, I’m going to see all this from outside the Tower. There’s got to be something better out there for us...”

“I’m quite alright right here, thank you very much.”

“For someone who spends an inordinate amount of time reading up on old world curio, you’re not even a little interested in seeing and experiencing it for yourself?”

“Oh, believe me, I am. If it weren’t for the flesh eating freaks I’d be long gone… but let’s face it, I’m too good looking to die.” He flashes her one of his trademark grins.

She chuckles, a twinkle in her eyes.

“So, speaking of good looks, why d’ya invite little old me when you could be making out with the lovely Sam?” Eva asks him teasingly.

“First of all, I don’t need any magical dancing lights to up my game with the ladies.”

She scoffs.

“Second, I heard you got expelled. I swear Blackstock’s goons are becoming unbearable. And it’s not just the school. It's harder and harder to get my hands on contraband, they’re really cracking down on everyone.” He sighs. “Anyway, I just figured you could use a friend and some cheering up.”

“Thanks Troy, this is just about the nicest thing someone’s done for me.”

She kisses him on the cheek before laying her head on his shoulder, gazing out to the skies once more.

Troy hopes the darkness hides his blush.

He wraps an arm around Eva, pulling her closer as they both take in the mesmerizing display.

Maybe one day he’ll be brave enough to tell her how he feels.

But tonight, he’s content he was able to brighten her night a little.

3. What was their first impression of each other?

It was not good. She was treating a patient on a rotation in the ER, and Ethan came over, offering an unsolicited opinion that she did not take kindly to. She thought he was being a misogynistic ass, but he mistook her for an intern who would have been too junior to handle such a serious case alone.

Of course, neither handled it well, but when they realized the error, she eased up - he stayed all Ethan. So she walked away muttering "Arrogant prick" under her breath. Ethan heard her and said, "Excuse me?" She smiled condescendingly and said, "Thanks for the tips?" This will be a frenemies-to-lovers story.

10. Do they share any hobbies or interests? How do these things bring them together?

Yes. Quite a few. They both love to cook; they are both multi-lingual and always want to pick up more languages. They both love to travel. They love classical music (including opera). They both love hiking, antiquing, and quiet nights at home. They love documentaries, and they like to keep their circle of friends small.

When Casey and Tobias see all this, they're like !!!! What are you waiting for!?!?!

14. Do they enjoy PDA, or are they more private with affection?

While they will engage in PDA, in general, they're more private. That said... they do engage in PDA, they just try to do it on the dow-low... and almost always get caught. lol

42. What’s their relationship like with each other’s friends/families?

This is in the Tobias/Casey world, so T/C are very good friends with Ethan. Casey is friends with Eva first. Initially, Eva thinks Ethan and Tobias are jackasses, lol. In time, she grows to like both men, and four have a nice friendship going forward.

Alan, Naveen, and Harper all love Eva and vice versa.

Ethan's relationship with her family is complicated because her relationship with her family is complicated. Ethan lets Eva take the lead, and he tends to avoid the relatives that give her grief. But when needed, he will step in and ALWAYS have their back. He's very close with her father and older brother, who she is closest with as well.

Eva was very much married to her job, so she didn't have a bevy of friends. She has one or two close friends who live back home in New Jersey, and Ethan gets along well with them.
