It's so funny how online journalists are trying to sell us bad news as good news. How exactly is Sims 5 being "free to enter" good news? It's the worst thing I've heard about it so far. Directly followed by the other "good news for simmers" - Sims 5 being available cross-platform.

So it won't only be "freemium" micro-transaction bullshit, no, it will also have such bad graphics, so it can be played on a smartphone.
