i think the reason i do not fuck with ttpd very much so far is because i just find it so :I when people think of themselves as "tortured artists". and i am fairly certain that there is a joke in there, and even if there is not: who cares what i think, but the remidender of the "Tortured Men Club" just made me break out in a soft cringe.

sonic boom season 3 valentines day ep where orbot and cubot are out picking flowers and end up discovering a rare alien plant that they try to take back to the lab with but when theyre by the village it starts spraying fumes all around them and they get scared and throw it away even though theyre robots and thus cant breathe whatever that stuff is

in the next scene two villagers (havent decided who yet) are randomly getting married and everyones invited and by that i mean EVERYONE. each member of team sonic gets their invitation in the mail and theyre like "huh thats weird. didnt know that those two even knew each other" but they decide to attend anyway for the free catering from meh burger and amys the only one genuinely excited because shes a romantic. eggmans attending too and not in a "im gonna break them up for the evulz" way hes attending as a legitimate guest because hes also a romantic. they get to the venue and orbot and cubot cant help but notice that the wedding flowers look awfully familiar......

it turns out that the two getting married arent actually in love and instead had breathed in the chemicals from the flower that the two threw away the other night SURPRISE those fumes actually stimulate the love chemicals in peoples brains and in other words function as a love potion. also it has since multiplied so now instead of just one plant the entire area is covered with the things like ivy on a wall which is bad because love potions are inherently messed up. thus the characters have to work together to kill the damn weed and free the villagers from their spell except when they start tearing them out the plants turn out to be sentient and fight back. namely they start spraying more chemicals that cause more people to also fall victim and hinder them from battle. eventually amy is the one to put a stop to the mayhem as she yells about how romance shouldnt be forced onto people who have zero chemistry between them because its weird and borderline obsessive (eggmans in the background hyping her up and saying "also dont ship real people wtf"). she then crushes the plants into a goopy mess with her hammer and the day is saved
