#i never thought recovery would include rediscovering my ability to make art #its shitty but it doesnt matter #the most important thing is feeling the joy from creating #i havent felt it in so long #i always hated everything i made to the point of stopping myself from making anything #looking at the finished product has always made me feel so much worse about myself #but now im just glad i put it out there #it might sound cheesy but there is beauty in everything #even the ‘ugly’ art is beautiful in its own way #ive always loved all art #even if it wasnt aestheticly pleasing it was a piece of somebody #their expression #if i loved art by everybody else why should i hate mine? #art isnt just realistic perfect pieces #there is so much more to it #ive always loved writing and drawing and just making stuff in general #its time to find that love again #personal
