If you are now or if you have plans to ever join SAG-AFTRA (and/or any of the 4 A's even maybe) then you should ABSOLUTELY DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH AND ASK YOUR OWN QUESTIONS!

If you do or plan to make money from your content, you should absolutely do your own research and ask your own questions.

If you do not have plans to do any of those things, nor do you ever make money from any of your content, etc. then it's not about you.

If you are just an average fan having fun, it is not about you.

If you actually have a platform, if your team winning GISH would have triggered the Shatner clause, maybe you want to consider it more.

But at that point only you can choose how you support the strike.

No one has called for a boycott or anything like that. Cancelling your streaming subscriptions, not watching movies and shows, etc. does not help the strike/strikers. In fact it does the exact opposite.

JUST LISTEN TO WHAT THE ORGANIZERS ARE SAYING TO DO.

You can stand in picket lines or join rallies with those striking.

You can post your support on social media.

If you're able to, you can donate to the Emergency Financial Assistance and Disaster Relief fund via the SAG-AFTRA foundation.

There is also the MPTF or the Entertainment Community Fund (which helps people in all the affected industries/unions/etc.)

You can keep an eye out for updates on the website and official social media. You can tell everyone who will listen to also do these things!!

Meanwhile, everyone just be cool and kind to each other. Please.
