Hear me out: Even if the Selfcest skeves you so you ignoring it? CANON SYLKI AND LOKIUS ARE BOTH TOXIC. They are both rushed and preferably neither would have happened because what Loki needs right now is a friend family that gives a shit about him.

Mobius continuously triggers and tramatizes Loki, he pokes and prods at him to get him to conform to doing what Mobius needs him to do: Help him catch Sylvie. It isn’t until he finds out for himself that Ravonna is lying that he flips and takes Loki’s side, and when they get him back to the TVA he’s not upset that he’s developed feelings for Sylvie like so many people say, he’s upset that wasn’t able to trick the trickster. He literally put’s Loki in a torture loop for crying out loud.

Sylvie doesn’t give a shit about Loki to start, and tries continuously to either mind control, leave him for dead or actively kill him herself. She doesn’t care if he lives or dies at all until they go through the trama bond of both nearly dying on Lamentis together and she starts thinking “Well I don’t like him but he doesn’t deserve to die bc the TVA manipulated him”. She continues to get Loki’s help because he’s willing to help her, and she can’t deny that the brains of two Loki’s is better than one. Maybe a friendship starts to form but even that isn’t really there yet, but she’s seen that he likes her and she thinks he wont betray her because of that. But she is willing to use it to manipulate him by kissing him as a distraction so he wont see her sending him away coming.

At least with Sylvie tho she didn’t legit put him in a torture loop so 🤷🏼‍♀️ great thing though is that as fanfic writers and roleplayers we have the ability to take creative liberties and rewrite actions of characters tho so at least there is that.
