Zodiac: Aquarius sun, Taurus moon, Leo rising. I’m a weirdo who wants to help people and who comes off as having their shit together, when really I just bake bread instead of doing my grad school work and call it self care.

Height: 5’10” I’m a hobbit in an elf’s body

Hogwarts House: Considering I taught Latin for almost a decade, it should come as no surprise that I am a Ravenclaw.

Last Thing I Googled: “A Narcissist’s Prayer” since I was listening to a podcast about a narcissistic mass shooter (who will not be named) and wanted to share the “Prayer” with my spouse who was also listening, since it does a great job of summarizing how narcissists think.

Zodiac: Sagittarius Sun, Pisces Moon, Virgo Rising

Height: 5’8″ ish (it’s really somewhere between 5′8″ and 5′9″, but I don’t know the exact measurement)

Last Movie I Saw: no idea, but I just finished watching Medici the Magnificent in 2 days so I’m going to count that as my last movie

Last Thing I Googled: the Pazzi conspiracy, followed up by Lorenzo di Medici (see above answer as to why)

Favourite Musician: Rebecca Lappa right now, but I listen more to music in general, rather than specific artists

Amount of Sleep: somewhere between 5 and 8 on an average day, more if I’m able to sleep in, but I try to get at least 7 because that is the amount I function best at

What I’m Wearing: a red, black, and grey plaid polar fleece pj set that I got for Christmas

Dream Job: working for myself as a landscape designer while simultaneously running a hobby farm with a wedding venue and store

Dream Trip: backpacking around Europe, focusing on Scotland, Ireland, and England (since most of my ancestors are from those countries)

Favourite Food: depends on the day, but I’d never say no to salt and vinegar Lays chips and a bag of Maltesers

Play Any Instruments: learned guitar when I was little and can still play a little (just nothing fancy), got very good at the clarinet from grade 7 through high school but never owned my own so I don’t play any more, taught myself piano from books around the same time but my dog liked to sing howl along so I had to stop. I’d love to learn how to play the fiddle, but that won’t happen until I can afford one and lessons

Languages: English, enough French to understand conversations and (roughly) answer (I’m Canadian with French Canadian relatives and took French from pre-school until the end of high school so I got to practice more than most people), enough Spanish to say “my name is _____” and “I don’t speak Spanish”, and I’m working on learning Gaelic

Favourite Songs: Edelweiss from The Sound of Music, Life is Long by Ruth Moody, Life is a Highway by Rascal Flatts, The Grundy County Auction Song by John Michael Montgomery, and anything by Shania Twain

Random Fact: I have an extra rib named Hector. I found out about it when I had my first concussion and was going through physio (I’d also effed up my neck). My physiotherapist wasn’t sure why the muscles on the right side of my neck near my shoulder wouldn’t relax and realized that it was because I have a cervical rib on the right side, which pushes up into the muscles there and can actually be felt through my skin. He made me name it so his name is Hector. Hector doesn’t cause many problems except that my shoulder muscles never really relax even when I get a massage and I occasionally get pain when I’ve worked out and am breathing really hard (because the muscles tense up a lot, it kind of feels like a stitch in your side, just around my neck which isn’t fun).
