Keith Parkinson's oil painting for the cover of the original Everquest took 2 months to complete and drew from his experience creating D&D covers for TSR (Sony Online Entertainment, 1999). Parkinson continued to provide cover art for the EQ expansions until his untimely death in 2005 at age 47, after which his studio mate Larry Elmore illustrated the series in his similar style.

Feast your eyes and gaze upon this extremely real and very much totally absolutely licensed by Sony or Darkpaw or whoever owns the property EverQuest 2 cookbook I've been working on for the last four months tonight!
Proof of the Pudding is a labor of love and slight sleep deprivation, but nevertheless it contains dozens of real and tested recipes as well as a lovingly written introduction by the authors, the cook and the devs.
Each recipe is accompanied by a beautiful, high-quality machine-generated illustration drawn by nobody. Short quotes and personal, lore-based blurbs make cooking these delicious meals a real treat.
Proof of the Pudding is going to be released by Darkpavv Press on April 31st 2024 and will be available for purchase only on amazone and booktok.
Image credit for decorative elements: rawpixel.com via freepik, parchment texture boggus via freepik, illustrations generated with perchance and may Innoruuk have mercy on our souls. For reasons of sanity and plausible deniability I will say again: this is neither licensed nor supported by Darkpaw, nor is it a real publication. We did not test these recipes and I don't suggest you try making them. You may have noticed the page nrs on the vulrich and muffin recipes are the same. This is a mistake I was no longer willing to fix.

Bide your time. Hate, by nature consumes itself and in it's rage this beast will leave itself vulnerable.
- Firiona Vie
I never played Ever Quest but I've played Champions Of Norrath and Return To Arms so many times and it's one of my favorite games. I'm actually still playing it! I wish they'd make a third game but I think it'll never happen.
The background is AI generated because I can't draw backgrounds. I edited both pictures and I like the contrast between Firiona and the background.

Erst Ultima Online, dann Everquest und zuletzt dann World of Warcraft. Charaktere leveln und verkaufen war damals echt ein boomendes Geschäft. Frag mich, ob es das heute auch noch gibt.
Habt ihr mal einen Spielcharakter ge- oder verkauft?
