#everyone freaking out when Bakugou finishes fixing something
hanji-is-life · 3 years
Note
another thought while cooking. the Bakusquad + y/n are roommates and they have a YouTube channel. Bakugou and y/n got together but they are not ready to tell there fans. but bakugou wants to so bad because people are crazy shipping kirishima and y/n. and that's makes Bakugou joules.
omg this idea is so frikin cute!!!!!
a cooking channel with the BakuSquad, but it’s mainly Bakugou doing all the hard work while the squad just makes comments, gets yelled at for picking at the food while he’s cooking, and having the best reaction when the meal’s finished.
omg you and Kiri literally having a shipping name trending on Twitter. Bakugou just explodes and posts a pic of you two kissing, a visible smile tugging at the corners of your lips. you and Bakugou’s ship name ends up trending after that lmao

bakugou katsuki:
listen, i feel like bakugou would act like he doesn’t care at all
but he’s definitely blushing and can’t look at you straight in the eye
he just wanted to let you know that since kaminari and mina forced him to help them study, you could come too
so he made his way to your dorm room while looking at his phone
and he doesn’t even knock so you’re quite startled
although you don’t blame him because he’s always hanging out in your room and vice versa
“hey we’re gonna have a study session later tonight, in case you wanna come” his eyes are glued to his phone as he talks, but you still feel embarrassed that he’s in the same room as you while you’re changing
after a few seconds go by with no response from you, he finally looks up from the device
“i’m talking to you-” the breath gets knocked out of him when he sees you’re in the middle of trying on different outfits
and apparently you were about to try a new one because you’re just in your freaking underwear
bakugou may be a lot of things, but he is not a pervert
so he’s quick to turn around to face the door, his eyes tightly shut even tho he can’t see anything as it is since you’re behind him
“you dumbass, don’t you know how to lock a fucking door?! is not that hard for fuck’s sake”
you almost want to laugh at the blonde’s state
you’ve never seen him like this before so you might as well tease him about it
“didn't your parents teach you it's impolite to enter a room without knocking first?”
oh he can hear the smirk on your face and he wants nothing more than to go up to you and wipe it off himself
but he knows you’re still in your underwear
and while it’s true he’s a gentleman, he’s also a man
seeing his crush in her underwear will most definitely get a reaction out of him
he curls his hands into fists by his side, jaw clenching because he knows you’re probably enjoying this
“just shut up and get dressed”
“is my room, i can stay like this if i want”
“put. something. on”
his tone annoys you
who the hell is he to tell you what to do?
“and what if i don’t want to?”
you’re just buffing of course, you’ve already put on one of bakugou’s shirt that you stole from him a week ago
his patience is running out
and he’s mad at himself because fuck, why does he have to like you so much?
if it was any other girl he couldn’t have cared less and would’ve just walked out
but it’s you, his crush
you’re so different from everyone else and it makes his blood boil because feelings are stupid and he should be focusing on becoming the number one hero, not some silly high school crush
“okay i'm dressed”
a sigh of relief escapes his lips as he turns around, but it doesn’t take long before his eyes are wide open as he takes in your figure
oh
you’re wearing his shirt
it ends just above your mid thigh and it falls around your figure loosely, obviously too big for you
bakugou can feel butterflies in his stomach at the sight
why are you so pretty?
“what was that you were saying when you walked in?”
you’re so calm and collected, walking around with only his shirt on
normally he hates when people wear his clothes, but it looks so good on you he can’t even bring himself to be annoyed
“we’re having a study session tonight,” his voice is low and he fixes his gaze on the wall behind you. “and you can come too, if you want to that is”
“wait that’s a great idea, i’ve been falling behind on english recently”
he nods and you frown at his actions
sure bakugou can be quiet, when he’s not mad, but he looks  rather…shy?
you smirk once again, knowing what this is all about
“don’t tell me the bakugou katsuki has never seen a girl naked before?”
“the fuck are you talking about?”
“well is either that or you like me because why else would you be so red right now?”
he groans when you say that
anyways he uhhh got tired of you not getting all the hints he’s been dropping and just straight up corners you against the wall
your heart is about to burst out of your chest at the close proximity and the feeling only intensifies when he smirks
he leans down, lips merely inches away from your own
“seeing as you’re not pushing me away right now, i say you like me too, dumbass”
well he’s not wrong soooo
you end up kissing after that✨

kirishima eijirou:
oh boy, this poor baby
he would be the type to apologize around 100 times and even when you told him it was fine and that you didn’t care, he would still feel guilty
ok so what happened was you were getting ready for your date with kirishima
because yes, he finally asked you out and you couldn’t be happier with life at the moment
and he wanted to know how much longer you were gonna take since he was already done
but you wouldn’t answer his texts
spoiler alert: you were just showering but he was too impatient and also he just wanted to see you again hehe he’s so cute
anyways,,
he makes his way to your room and knocks on the door
it’s more of like a warning because he doesn’t even wait for a response, he just barges in
you had gotten out of the shower like 3 minutes ago and were in the process of drying your hair in the middle of the room, your back facing kirishima
“hey y/n how much longer do you think- shit!”
his voice scares you, but you don’t move because you know it’ll be worse if you do
so you stay frozen in your place
kirishima notices the droplets of water falling from your hair and down your spine before slowly falling down the curves of your-
he flushes completely, his face now matching his dyed hair perfectly, and he turns around with both of his hands covering his eyes
“i’m so so so sorry! that was so unmanly of me. i should’ve just waited until you texted me, but i missed you and wanted to see you so i came over and didn’t wait for an answer and then i saw you and oh god you’re naked and-”
“kirishima,”
he shuts up when he hears your soft voice calling his name
“yeah?”
“calm down”
after that he just stays quiet, trying to calm the erratic beating of his heart and not let his imagination run wild
you should be the one that’s flustered because your best friend and crush just saw your bare ass
but if anything, kirishima’s the one who feels like he’s about to faint from seeing so much skin
he thinks it’s really unmanly of him to see you naked without your consent so he’s on the brink of an existential crisis
meanwhile, as kirishima rethinks all of his life choices, you finish drying your hair and continue to put on your outfit, knowing kirishima wouldn’t turn around any time soon
he’s still facing away from you even when you’ve finished dressing up
you giggle, thinking about how cute he is before tapping his shoulder
“you can look now, kiri”
even with your permission, he’s still hesitant about his movements
he doesn’t want to make you uncomfortable or anything so that’s why he genuinely doesn’t know what to do
kirishima turns around slowly, eyes now focused on the floor
“i’m really sorry about that, y/n. i didn’t mean to i swear and i’m sorry if i made you uncomfortable but-”
“kiri, i’m not mad at you”
“you’re not?”
“of course not, i know it was an accident”
well thank god because he wouldn’t forgive himself if he made you upset
“besides, you were eventually gonna see me naked”
it was a joke
supposed to be
but kirishima whips his head your way and his eyes almost pop out of their sockets
a part of him is shy sure, but the other part wants to run laps after hearing you say that
“well yeah but that’s different…” he scratches the back of his neck nervously and your heart swells for the boy in front of you
he really is so sweet
he just wants you to be completely comfortable around him
how could you not be in love with him?
“how about we forget this ever happened, i finish getting ready, and then we go on our date? hm?”
he nods eagerly after hearing you say that, if you’re happy then he’s absolutely content
you smile at him before standing up on your tip toes and leaving a chaste kiss against his cheek
of course he blushes again
he’ll never get tired of your cuteness
or you in general
but this time he’s more confident when he pulls you to his chest in a tight hug
“the view was really nice by the way”
“kirishima!”
“what? i'm just saying you should be proud”
“you’re so stupid”
“stupidly in love with you that is”
he’s got a dumb smile on his face after he says that
and it only widens when you take his hand in yours to sit him down on your bed
yup, he’s head over heels for you

todoroki shouto:
out of the five of them, he’d DEFINITELY be the most chill about it
sure, he’d still feel embarrassed and what not
but he wouldn’t make such a big deal about it
simply because he doesn’t want to make things awkward between you two
so he decides it’s best if he just keeps acting like he normally would
you texted him to come over so you could watch some movies together
and he had some homework to do but it’s not like he was gonna pass up on the opportunity of spending quality time with you
unlike the other first years,
todoroki actually knocks and waits for your response
because he has manners, period.
“come on in!”
you said it was okay to come in
so why the hell are you in the middle of changing shirts?????
he wastes no time in closing his eyes
refusing to keep looking at you when you probably don’t even know he’s watching
“um y/n?”
“yes?”
“what are you doing?”
“i’m changing, isn’t it obvious?” your chuckle makes his cheeks heat up
was this amusing to you?
because he was seconds away from having a heart attack
however he doesn’t show it
instead, he just continues to keep his eyes closed while trying to think about literally anything else except your bare skin
key word: trying
because he can’t seem to get the image of your clothed breasts out of his mind and he thinks he’s about to go insane
he also scolds himself because a gentleman shouldnt do that
but you don’t seem to care at all and that confuses him so much (???
“why do you have your eyes closed?”
“are you done changing”
“yeah”
when he opens his eyes again you’re sitting down on your bed, laptop placed in front of you as you scroll down on netflix
now fully dressed
he lets out a sigh of relief before clearing his throat and sitting down next to you
and he thinks he’s being slick and smooth
but he’s not
he’s actually almost completely stiff
and when you subconsciously brush your knee against his, he flinches
you frown at his reaction
“are you okay?”
“yeah, why do you ask?”
“because you’re acting weird”
“am not”
“you are”
the banter goes on for a while until you finally figure it out
the way his eyes occasionally look down on your chest only to quickly look away with a blush on his cheeks it's what gives him away
“wait, are you embarrassed just because you saw my boobs?”
cue todoroki wanting to get the hell out of your room
“i’m not embarrassed”
“your blush says otherwise, todoroki”
he doesn’t know what to say afterwards so he just sits there with a pout on his pretty lips and his eyebrows furrowed
he’s so shy and cute🥺
“if you want to, you can take your shirt off so we’ll be tied”
your tone is teasing as you continue to scroll on your computer, not really giving much thought to what you said
except you forgot todoroki takes everything quite literally
the grin falls from your lips as soon as you see todoroki, indeed, taking off his shirt
“w-what are you doing?!”
“you said we need to be tied”
“todoroki, that was a joke!”
the roles have been reversed because now you're the one who’s all flustered and looking away from him
he blinks once, then twice before smiling at you
“now who’s being shy?”
“i- shut up and watch the movie”

midoriya izuku:
he would die
not literally duh
but he’d want to disappear right then and there
you know that one scene where hatsume is pressed up against him and he blushes a shit ton and is just like “b-b-boobs”?
well yeah he’s like that
except he can barely talk because of how embarrassed he is
he’d also, like kirishima, apologize a lot
he literally just feels like he committed a crime
and you’re like “midoriya, it’s not that deep”
but he’s just upset with himself
you had told him earlier that you needed some help with your homework
and since he’s such a wonderful friend, he didn’t hesitate to tell you that he’d be more than happy to help
so now he’s happily walking to your room because he loves study dates with you
even tho they’re not dates at all
but still
he loves them
especially whenever you get a question right and you just look up at him with big puppy eyes, waiting for him to praise you
and he does
because you deserve it
you work so hard and he admires you for that
ok BAcK to the point,,,
(i’m sorry i just love this man so much, he makes me so soft)
here’s the deal
midoriya knocks on your door right?
but you don’t hear it because you’re blasting music on your speaker while singing your heart out
so he lets himself in
tho he wants to run back out when he sees your naked back is facing him
you’re changing; that’s the first thing he notices
the second thing he notices is that you’re standing in front of a mirror
and you’re not wearing a bra
he yelps before turning around and you jump because you hadn’t noticed him
“izuku? what are you-”
“i’m so sorry y/n! i didn’t mean to invade your privacy like this a-and i didn’t know you were changing and so i opened the door and then i saw you and oh god you’re not wearing a shirt which isn’t bad you know, i m-mean i'm not saying you look bad because ha believe me you don’t but-”
“oh my god dude, would you relax?”
you laugh as you finish putting on your hoodie
he frowns, you’re laughing? in a situation like this?! are you okay???
“again, i’m sorry and it’s okay if you want me to go because it’s weird and i don’t want you to feel uncomfortable because of me so-”
“ok izuku, first of all stop talking,” he quickly shuts his mouth, still facing the closed door so you don’t see his tomato-like cheeks. “second, turn around,” you place your hands on his shoulders to make him look at you and he tenses at the touch, but turns around anyways
you offer him a kind smile, the one that makes him fall harder for you everyday and that’s enough to ease his nerves a bit
“third, quit freaking out. it’s not like i’m gonna kill you or anything”
“b-but how are you so...calm?”
“uhh because i don’t really care?”
he doesn’t know why, but his heart hurts a little after hearing you say that
is not like he expects you to actually reciprocate his feelings but,,
he didn’t have an effect on you whatsoever? not even a little bit?
“and besides, it’s you so i don’t mind”
“what do you mean?”
you shrug, smirking at the green haired boy, “well you like me, right?”
he almost stops breathing
maybe he did for a few seconds
he looks at you, a mix of emotions flashing through his expression
is he relieved? is he scared? is he happy?
he doesn’t  k n o w
neverthless, he nods shyly, looking away from your captivating gaze
“and i like you so it’s okay”
midoriya.exe has stopped working
someone PLEASE calm this boy down
he’s about to explode from feeling so much happiness
“you do?!”
“of course” you smile at him one last time, before interlacing your fingers with his and sitting down on the rug next to your bed so you can study
or maybe you got a little carried away and ended up cuddling all evening while eating ramen
but that’s besides the point

tamaki amajiki:
sweet little baby
he faints :D
no but seriously
he does.
are we surprised?
nope, not at all
he can’t look at you for more than 5 seconds without getting nervous as it is,
but after he saw you half naked?!
yeah no, that’s too much for tamaki
his body shuts down because he cannot handle it
nejire told him to go check up on you because you seemed off at school
which tamaki also noticed because he’s very observant with people (especially you) but he preferred to not say anything
of course his first response to nejire is straight up: no
he’s too shy
and he’s scared because what if you get mad at him? or tell him to go away?
he thinks it’s better to give you your space and if you want to talk to him, then he’s more than ready to listen
but nejire wouldn’t shut up about it
then mirio butted in too and they were just whining a lot and he got tired of hearing them talk
now here he is, standing in front of your room with a shaky hand hovering against the wooden door
much like todoroki, he knocks and patiently waits for a response
which he receives quickly
“who is it?”
“tamaki”
“ahh tama, let yourself in!”
he blushes at the nickname and finally opens the door
he’s about to go sit on your desk chair or something
but then he sees you
you’re only in your underwear, struggling to put on a hoodie
and then you jump to try and get it on
and that makes it worse because you’re wearing a  b r a
long story short,
he falls to the floor :D
the big ‘thud’ startles you and even more so when you see tamaki’s unconscious body on the floor
“shit, tama are you okay?”
it takes him a good 5 minutes to open his eyes again
he feels a cold towel pressed up against his forehead and he frowns at the feeling
when he turns his head around, he notices that he’s laying down on your bed
but you're nowhere to be seen
“thank god you’re awake”
your voice comes from behind him and that’s when he realizes he’s not only laying down on your bed, but also on your lap
“you really worried me!”
cue him blushing like there’s no tomorrow and stuttering
“s-sorry. i was just s-surprised to see you c-changing and i’m sorry i didn’t tell you i was coming b-beforehand”
you shake your head, “that’s okay tama, i’m not mad at you”
he just nods because he’s afraid he’ll say something dumb if he talks
you brush your fingers through his indigo hair and he swears he can feel himself falling more in love with you in that precise moment
you smile down at him
“what did you come here for anyway? not that i mind, but you know”
“nejire told me y-you seemed down today s-so i came to check up on you”
butterflies flutter in your stomach at his sweet words
“aww you’re so sweet, but i’m okay. i was just feeling sad”
he sits up to look at you better and he doesn’t miss the way you pout when his hair is no longer in between your fingers
which makes his heart speed up
“are you okay?”
his question is so genuine and he seems so concerned, it makes you want to keep him in your pocket forever
“i am now”
he smiles at your response, happy that you feel better
“i’m glad”
“now come here, i wanna play with your hair”
and who is he to deny such request?

“hurry up dumbass, we’re gonna be late for lunch.”
you quickly skipped out of your latest class after you finished talking with a couple of your friends, your books held tight against you. you easily spotted katsuki, leaning against the wall opposite of you, his arms crossed and his regular scowl plastered on his features as always; and just on time.
“hey there, katsuki!” you cheered, jogging over to him as you two started to walk towards the cafeteria. “we won’t be too late, don’t worry about it! i’m sure they’ll have the spicy curry you always eat hot and ready for ya,” you mentioned, having checked one of the many clocks scattered around the school just before leaving class.
the hothead responded with a mere eyeroll and put his hands in his pockets. “yeah yeah, whatever.”
dating katsuki bakugou was a challenge to even get the opportunity of, so it makes sense that going through the motions of it would prove just the same. jealousy from hanging out with other guys, lack of quality time due to his excessive training, and the names he’d call you 24/7 (all in good fun of course, but it’s still something he could work on) were all day to day obstacles. and when you and him announced to the others that you were officially going out, everyone was aware of these factors as well. though, no one spoke their thoughts aloud, knowing bakugo wouldn’t hesitate to beat them up if so. a couple friends have even tried to get you to rethink your choices. though somehow, you managed to deal with every bit of it. the others didn’t know whether to admire that fact or to roll their eyes at the idea that you were even trying. but you didn’t let it get to you. for the most part. so, the school just knew you and katsuki to be that couple, like a chihuahua and its dogsitter—a really scary chihuahua. and its dogsitter.
the sun shone through the school windows, dancing on the tiles beneath you and the walls around. chatter filled the hallways as you merely enjoyed the presence of the one and only dynamight.
“are you grabbing the same junk food as always?” he questioned, sparking conversation while giving out a couple stink-eyes to people passing by every now and then. like usual.
you huffed. “for your information, i’ve actually been eating a lot healthier.” after all, it was hard not to due to the training you were put through everyday. having enough energy to last throughout aizawa’s hellish training was important, and just eating some chips or fries and calling it a day doesn’t really go that far. it took a while, but after days of bakugo hinting at it and sero helping out as well, that health freak, you decided to start on the path of healthier eating habits. and you were a little glad you did.
though, you still planned on going out with your friends to fast food and having takeout every once in a while.
“i packed my own lunch too!” you mentioned. you were pretty proud of that last part, as stupid as it may sound to other people.
but, instead of the praise you were hoping for, bakugo went off on a little tanget. “you better be fixing up your eating habits. our school days are moving by, and fast. don’t get lost in the whole high school dream experience,” he said. “enough people are already like that here. wouldn’t be surprised where they end up later on.”
spilling his thoughts on other people’s progress onto you was yet another challenge to deal with; he did it to yourself as well. but, you always got by with just a nod and a smile, saying you’d take it into consideration. it was hard not to.
taking a breath, you nodded. “i’m well aware.” though your chest tightened slightly, the feeling was honestly common now.
as you walked to the cafeteria and small banter was passed around, you were interrupted mid-sentence by a harsh bump of a shoulder. “hey, what in the—”
you turned to the stranger, and as much as you wished you could put a name to their face… well, you couldn’t. from the looks of the buttons on their shoulders, it seemed they were someone from general studies. guess they weren’t paying attention, you thought. no matter, i’ll just apologize and be on my way.
with a chuckle, you responded: “oh—i’m sorry, i didn’t see you—”
your eyes finally caught onto their expression, which, for a lack of better words, was absolute disgust. the tone of their words wasn’t any different: “hey, you’re that couple from class 1A, right?”
good lord.
bakugo instinctively wrapped an arm around your waist, pulling you closer to him. “yeah, you got a problem with that?” he barked. yet another pointless fight because of you you and bakugo’s relationship. in person this time, though. this was certainly new.
though what you didn’t know was that bakugo had not heard one thing about what people would say behind your backs, the rumors they’d try to spread, the amount of people that attempted to rip you two apart. you thought if it reached your ears, their words would’ve done the same to him. you found out otherwise in 3, 2, 1:
“y’know, i can’t believe you,” the student snarled at your boyfriend. “the amount of ego you have is unbearable. you barely respect your classmates and you think you’re better than all of us. it’s amazing how stupid you act. how are you not even expelled?” and before bakugo could explode their face up from that alone, they turned to you. “though, you’re even worse.
“how do you even deal with an asshole like him? you’re just ruining yourself. what was it that brought you here: a bet? pity? or are you just plain stupid as well?” people, too many you thought, started to stop and stare at the situation. there was an obvious time crunch on his words since this was only passing time ‘til the next period, but it was more than enough. a pit quickly formed in your stomach as the student scoffed. “i can’t stand either of you. you’re like this horrible patched-up match. why can’t you two just do us all a favor and cut this little thing you guys have anyways?”
the atmosphere that had built up around you was horrible. no one in the school had ever said their thoughts to you or bakugo’s face; you guesed they were all too scared to. and you knew what they would say if they did actually have the balls. but hearing it, actually hearing it… it was worse than you could have ever imagined. you couldn’t look at the student or your boyfriend in the eye after the kid finished talking. you wanted to throw up.
bakugo, on the other hand, wanted to throw down.
a huge scowl appeared immediately on his face, his eyebrows furrowed immensely. “SAY THAT AGAIN, YOU FUCKING PUNK!” he shouted. he seemed more angry than on average, foaming at the mouth. he reached out his arms to grab the kid’s button up shirt, he would’ve ripped it on contact if he did, but you quickly snapped out of your thoughts and pushed him away from the whole situation, not wanting to have to deal with your boyfriend blowing up a hallway because of some rando’s comments. waving away the kid and throwing them the middle finger last minute, you and bakugo turned a corner.
you added another tally to the amount of times you’ve saved bakugo from detention in your head as you caught your breath, your hands on your knees supporting you. you were strong, but bakugo was almost an immovable object. though, you were just glad that you and him got away in time.
meanwhile, bakugo looked over at you, all of his anger slowly dissipating and something else clouding his mind. he pressed his lips into a fine line, his eyebrows furrowed, yet for a new reason. he was.. replaced with a sense of.. well one could say, guilt?
he looked at your image; it slowly started to change in front of him. before, you were his significant other, his other half. you cheered him up when he needed it, you brightened his day whenever you walked into the room, and you made his life and him better. hell, he couldn’t imagine where he would be if you didn’t step up to the plate and reached out to him on the first day of high school.
but now, after hearing how others saw what you were doing and actually hearing for himself how the school saw him… and how they compared you to him…
what has he been doing?
after dusting off your clothes, you looked to bakugo. his face was dark, his head hanging low as his hands curled into fists, shaking. a switch turned on in you as you reached for his shoulder. “katsu, you okay—”
he quickly pushed your hand aside, still not looking up at you. slightly hurt, you pulled your hand back and gazed at him thoughtfully. after a few minutes of silence, he spoke.
“why are you doing this?” he asked.
your eyebrows raised, relaxing your shoulders. “what do you mean, kat?”
he was too deep in his thoughts to care about the nickname. “why do you bother being with me?” his head now raised, looking into your eyes. “you know how people see us. i’m holding you back.” the tone of defeat in his voice was shocking to hear. you’ve seen a lot of emotions play on his face, but defeat was something you never thought was possible. but everyone is human. and this was one hell of a reminder.
he kept the rest of what he wanted to say to himself. too much and he would get overwhelmed, he decided. and breaking down in the middle of school would not be a fun experience.
before he could start to drown in his own sorrows, he felt a hand press against his cheek. he looked up.
you were smiling at him. such a sickeningly sweet smile. your eyes were gentle and your words matched: “i am a better person because of you. i won’t let some shitty extra’s opinion be all it takes for me to leave your side.” you chuckled. “i’ll be here for you until i see your name as number 1, and forever on afterwards.”
he wanted to melt into your arms right then and there. he never thought he deserved you, surprisingly, ever since the day you two met. but, it seemed that you’d be there to help him learn otherwise. he choked back a sob and nodded silently.
something else added a sparkled to your grin: the late bell for this period. you held back a laugh. “i guess we’re going to be late to lunch after all,” you joked.
not trying to hide his smile, bakugo flicked your forehead. “thanks a lot, dumbass.”
you rubbed your forehead, pouting jokingly. “c’mon, we won’t be that late!” you reached out and went to grab his hand. “we can just run over!”
as you grabbed him, he flinched slightly, looking at your hand hesitantly.
sweaty palms came natural to him due to his quirk, if you knew or not. and the first thought that came to his mind was that he’d accidentally blow up your hand. great. and your hands were so amazing too. a little callous from training, but a huge comfort nonetheless. the warmth it gave off was perfect; he remembered it vividly from the first time you comforted him, how your hands gently held his face as he cried. he couldn’t ask for more. and here he was, about to explode them.
not only that, but he always thought that if someone were to ever hold his hand, they’d just be bothered by the sweat in general, that being a huge deal breaker for them. there was no proof of this, but bakugo put the puzzle pieces together at a young age after reading so much romance manga.
so, he instantly started to freak out.
his thoughts whizzed back and forth, wondering how he could get out of this situation if it came to what he was thinking—of course it’d come to what he was thinking. nothing came to mind. he was going to miss lunch, wasn’t he? he’d be too busy throwing out detached hands. yup, he was screwed. he was so screwed. holy shit, he was dying.
what was even worse though, was the change of expression on your face, one of confusion. something’s not right, you thought. here it comes, he thought. this was it. he was screwed. he—
you laced his fingers with yours. “much better,” you cheered. and tugging him along as you ran through the halls, you shouted, “c’mon! you want that curry, don’t you?”
and the biggest grin shone on katsuki’s face. if only you turned around to see it.

There’s Just Something About Him
Tumblr media
•SHOTO TODOROKI x READER
•Overview: having feelings for the icy hot boy just seemed like a lost cause
•Warnings: just some cursing, meantions of anxiety.
•Season: 3
-
You’d always found the split haired boy attractive, but nothing ever went beyond that. It seems that even if you wanted it to nerves would just be in the way. Besides, everyone’s working to become pro-hero’s, who has time for a relationship? With all the shit going on you were almost positive that Todoroki didn’t have you in mind at all. The constant sneak attacks from villains, not knowing when the next person is going to get hurt, it was all too much.
Atleast that’s what you tried to convince yourself. The sweet, quiet boy who’d caught your eye since the first day of school just couldn’t possibly like you. He couldn’t possibly let a thought like that even make it halfway into his head. You’d lost hope a couple months into school, realizing fate definitely wasn’t on your side.
The two of you never got partnered up or even in the same group. It’s as if something is telling you it’s not meant to be. Sure you’d taken your own initiative and made conversation with the boy, but it’s always short lived. He wasn’t the best at talking unless he was on an adrenaline rush during a practice scenario. You had never gotten the luck of him wanting to use your quirks together either.
It truly felt hopeless.
You tried your best not to dwell on these things. If it was meant to be it just would’ve happened by now. Right?
The thoughts left your mind as you walked with your fellow classmates. Today is an exciting day, it was time to move into the new dorms. It took way too much convincing with your family, but eventually they caved in. You knew it’d be hard, they’re just worried about you. At this point the whole world was worried about all of the UA students safety. But everyone can agree that dorms are the safest it can get with all of the new high tech security.
You all stopped, admiring the new tall building in front of you. Knowing Todoroki was going to be in the same building as you every night had your anxiety on edge. But you were also... excited? For what, you had no idea. It was just a swirl of emotions.
Oh no, he’s gonna see my puffy morning eyes.
The happy chatter was cut short when Mr. Aizawa started talking about hero licenses, something that seemed to slip everyone’s minds. He was rather intimidating, eyes stern and serious. It sent a wave of uneasiness throughout the group. He knew the whole class was aware of the plan to save Bakugou, and he wasn’t happy. You stare at him with legs beginning to tremble.
His words cut deep as he threatened the possibility of expelling the entire class. You definitely wouldn’t put it past him, he seems like the type. But, as he said, due to All Might’s retirement the need for hero’s was strong. He couldn’t just get rid of such potential.
You looked at Todoroki’s face and it was frozen, he seemed more worried than anyone else. His heterochromia eyes stayed fixed on Mr. Aizawa, and you couldn’t help but let yourself take in his features. Sure you see the boy almost everyday but it’s hard to get good long looks when you’re sitting in class, he’d easily feel your gaze. There’s already been a couple times where he’s caught you and the embarrassment was too much to handle again.
His jaw was cleanched and sharp as ever. You just loved it. You wondered if it was weird to think about running your slim fingers along the bone of his jaw, it was just so beautiful.
“(y/n), are you even listening to me? Or are you just going to stare at Todoroki?”
In that moment it felt like you were going to throw up. All eyes shot to you, including Todoroki. Mr. Aizawa was a real ass sometimes but this definitely was the worst thing hes ever done to you, and he’d made you fall on your face after taking away your quirk infront of the whole class. That was absolutely nothing compared to this.
“I- uh, I-I wasn’t, I just-“ you were totally at loss for words. You’d never been more embarrassed in your life. The heat on your face was hotter than ever, and you knew it was visible as well.
Mr. Aizawa rolled his eyes, no longer caring about the predicament, “Anyways, that’s all. Look alive, enjoy your new home.”
That statement didn’t help anyone’s nerves after his little intimidation speech, but you had it the worst. Your face was still red and you could feel your heartbeat in your ears. Today was not going the way you hoped, and you didn’t dare even peak at Todoroki. You couldn’t help but think he thought you were weird. A girl he barely talks to constantly staring at him, there’s no way he didn’t think that.
The speech about where the boys and girls were was given, including where everything else was. But you could hardly pay attention focus on anything, and you didn’t dare look up.
It was time to decorate your rooms and make it your own, and you couldn’t be more relieved. Finally away from that embarrassment, even though it was waiting for you on the other side of your closed door.
“damnit,” you cursed. No one was going to forget that and you knew it. And the girls were beyond nosey when it came to crushes, especially Ashido.
After a couple hours of getting things together there was a knock on your door. You immediately froze. It’s like you had forgotten where you were and what had happened for a little bit, but of course you were quickly brought back to reality.
“Who is it?” You asked.
“Its Uraraka, can I come in?”
Shes always the sweetest and you knew she wouldn’t bug you about anything. Especially after seeing the way you reacted. Uraraka always had her suspicions that you found Todoroki cute, your eyes practically lit up everytime he did something.
You granted her permission and continued to put your pillows neatly on the bed. She was in her pj’s but definitely seemed wide awake.
“Oh wow, your room is so cute (y/n)! Nothing compared to mine,” her smile was huge. You just adored her, she always brightened up your mood.
“Thank you so much Uraraka, you’ll have to show me your room later before that is confirmed,” you smiled back.
“Oh course! Actually, speaking of rooms, that’s what I came here for. The girls and I convinced the guys to show us their rooms and we kinda turned it into a little contest. Wanna join?”
Her request was extremely appealing. You immediately wondered what Todoroki’s room looked like, and now was your opportunity to see it. But the nerves were still there, and the embarrassment was even stronger. You just couldn’t face everyone right not, especially Todoroki’s. He probably didn’t want your creep self in there anyways.
“Thanks for asking Uraraka, but i’m very tired. I was just planning on finishing my room and crashing. But I still would like to see your room sometime tomorrow,” you said while trying to hold your smile. But she could see the said frown behind it, but she didn’t want to bother you any further. She could only imagine how she’d react and feel if Mr. Aizawa did that to her. She’d be completely horrified.
“You got it, see you tomorrow (y/n). Sleep well!”
She leaves, shutting the door behind her. Your smile quickly fades and your shoulders fall limp.
I really wish I could see his room, I bet it’s awesome.
In all honestly you figured Todoroki would be relieved you didn’t show. God, class tomorrow was going to be hell. You just knew it, there’s no way you’d be able to focus knowing the whole class knows you’re a freak who can’t keep your eyes off the icy hot boy.
You pushed your thoughts aside, ignoring them to the best of your ability. You attempted to sleep, but the constant stamper of footsteps above you and outside your door was keeping you from the world of dreams. The world where assholes like Mr. Aizawa didn’t completely humiliate you.
Just as sleep started to creep up on you, there was another knock on your door. It was soft, and you immediately knew it wasn’t Uraraka. You sat up in the darkness, reaching for your bedside lamp. It faintly lit the room with a yellow glow, and made a light buzzing noise. You were too tired to speak up and ask who it was, so you forced yourself out of bed.
Maybe it was Momo, she did say she was looking forward to seeing your room. You pushed your wild hair out of your face before opening the door. And when you saw who was standing there a sharp breath immediately got caught in your throat. You let out a light cough.
“Todoroki?” you asked confused. He was all alone, no one with him. The lights in the hallway were out, one could only assume the competition was over and everyone else had gone to bed. Yet here he is, standing before you.
“I wanted to talk to you,” he says as if it’s the most normal thing ever. You didn’t know what to say, he’d never even approached you first. But he can knock on your door late at night to talk to you?
You looked at him in disbelief. In that moment you realized how little you knew about this boy, and how odd this situation was.
“What time is it?” You asked, completely ignoring what he said. He huffed, he knew you’d be difficult. You two may not talk much but he’s good at observing. He knew you more than you’d think.
“Almost 12, not too late. Can I talk to you?” This time he asked, therefore making it harder to avoid.
“Uh, I-In here?” You asked.
You couldn’t help but think he was here to tell you to stop being a creep. He wasn’t interested in you and would really appreciate it if you could stop with the creepy stares.
“Anywhere is fine,” he answers.
At those words, you move aside. Widening the door so that he can come in. The smell of vanilla hit you in the face as he walked past, and his eyes immediately began to observe your room.
Todoroki is in my room... what the actual fuck is going on!?
His hand comes up to point at your wall, “Did you draw those?”
Your eyes dart to the colorful art pinned to your wall.
“Y-Yes.”
The constant stuttering was making you loose your mind. But when your anxiety is this high you can’t manage to think straight. Not even one word can come out without a struggle.
“I like them.”
You swallow, hard. He probably heard it. The room was so quiet without one of you talking, unbearably quiet. Without words the only sound was the faint buzzing of your lamp you’d turned on only a few minutes ago.
“Oh, uh, Thanks,” a blush began to creep onto your face. Your hand came up to cover your face as you looked down. You knew you looked odd in the moment, but it was better than him seeing how much he can effect you so easily.
Todoroki looked at you with sweet eyes, although you couldn’t see them due to your current state. He thought you looked cute right now, all bashful. That’s something he has always liked about you. Your cheeks got red so easily when you were embarrassed, nervous, flustered, even when you were tired.
He noticed these things because you interested him, you always had. You were way too cute and sweet to not catch his attention. He just truly sucked when it came to talking to girls. Especially pretty girls like you.
“I, um,” this time it was Todoroki at a loss for words. He had a plan before he came in, but now as he stood in your room it was much harder to think clearly.
You looked up at him, his hand was raking through his hair. He seemed almost... nervous.
Why the hell would he be nervous?
“I was uh wondering if you, uh, would like to,” he took a deep breath to clear his mind. He was stuttering too much and overthinking, it was just a simple question he was trying to get out.
He locked eyes with you, “Would you like to go grab some food after school tomorrow?”
Your mouth fell open, but you quickly covered it with your hand. There was no way, no damn way.
“You mean, j-just me and you?” You asked, making sure you were interpretating this correctly.
“Yeah, Yeah,” He nervously laughs, “Like a uh, date.”
Like a what now?
There was absolutely no way this was real, you had to be dreaming.
“is this a joke?” You ask, but you meant to only think it.
His eyes widen and he quickly began waving his hands, “W-What? No, of course not! I really want to go on a date with you, I think it’d be fun. Plus you’re super sweet and pre-“ he stops himself.
C’mon man, you’re gonna scare her off by being too forward.
“Yeah, i’d really like that Todoroki,” your smile was surpressed by your teeth sinking into your bottom lip. At this point you wanted to jump for joy, but you didn’t want to scare this chance away.
“Okay cool, so after school. Tomorrow, you and me,” his nervous laugh comes back, “on a date.”
You can’t help but giggle, you’d never seen Todoroki so nervous before. Not in this way at least. It was one of the cutest things you’d ever seen.
“You got me after school Todoroki,” you giggled again, “You and me on a date.”
And with that, the two of you said your goodbyes, which were a little awkward considering the two of you kept letting nervous laughter slip.
As soon at the door shut, you let out a happy squeal. It didn’t even bother you that he might of heard it, you really didn’t care. You were so overjoyed that nothing could kill your mood.
On the other side of the door Todoroki had the geekiest smile on his face. He walked to his room completely satisfied. He did it, he finally asked the girl he liked on a date.
“Hell yeah,” he whispered to himself.
This definitely was heading in the right direction.

So…do you guys know The Nanny? As in,,, this sitcom?
Tumblr media
Well that, but make it Bakugou.
The Nanny Bakugou HC
NatsuBaku (Also?!?! currently there are 27 Bakugou/Natsuo fics on AO3 and only around 16 are like actual full stories (by that I mean not only PWP, or incomplete) Therefore, it’s is my DUTY to provide more. I just feel it in my bones.)
Bakugou being a nanny hired by one Todoroki brother (here it’s Natsuo) for their oc!kids
So, on a streak of bad luck Bakugou loses his job, his boyfriend broke up with him, said boyfriend also kicked him out, so there goes his living situation too. He ended up taking the nanny job to fix the living situation, and to also give him something to work with while he sorts out everything for the other job he wants.
So, Natsuo has three kids. Your typical lineup (idk if there’s actually a typical line up of kids shh), a teen, a preteen and a toddler basically. Or maybe whatever you call that age where they’re older than a toddler but not preteen as yet. The age when they still like stickers. Anyway.
The oldest is his daughter. Because being the eldest daughter is A Struggle that I can write from the sole of my feet to the end of my hair follicles.
The middle… Wait middle should be twins.
They should be twins if only for a scene where Bakugou can tell them a part when Natsuo’s girlfriend can’t. Hahaha.
The last child is an toddler who doesn’t like anyone and always cries but is really calm around Bakugou.
The kids all end up loving Bakugou but it takes them a while to Get There. Except the last one. The toddler loves him immediately.
So naturally, when Bakugou first arrives they try to drive him away. They make everything harder for him, from making food, to driving them places, to letting him know how the things around the house work or where stuff is supposed to go. Even purposefully messes up his schedules so he always has to rush when it comes to getting them to things. But if they think they can out stubborn Bakugou??? They got another thing coming.
He curses them every single step of the way, but he does not quit. Nope. Cue a typical scene where they bond because Bakugou helps one of the twins with their homework, and the other is like ‘don’t side with the enemy!!’ but eventually they get won over too when Bakugou starts kinda being an asshole to them too. Not really malicious, just doing little things that makes all their little pranks difficult for them instead.
Now I want to to figure out if their other parent is 1. Dead. 2. Alive but doesn’t really care for them. 3. Cares for them but is busy
none of these options include them still being with Natsuo
Dead can fit so much trauma, but the idea of the other parent mistaking Katsuki for Natsuo’s new partner when he isn’t tickles my brain so hard,,,, the other parent is around but they’re distant it is.
The other parent : Doesn’t really care for the kids, doesn’t even want them really. Just paying their money and leaving.
The only argument the twins have is over the other parent. One of them can’t help but miss them while the other just really hates them.
One of the twins invited the other parent to a rehearsal, recital whatever the fuck you want to call it and they didn’t show up but guess who did??? Bakugou. Idc if it’s cliché, I. Do. NOT!! Embrace the cliché.
Bakugou brings them flowers and they both get little charm bracelets with something special to a moment each of them had with him.
Bakugou gets the other job and it’s a teaching job. Before he like, fully here goes though he has to be on a temporary course thing, and who goes to said school? The daughter.
*slaps top of chemistry teacher headcanon* “So many awkward bonding moments can fit in this baby!”
She’s struggling in school? She fears bullied? She has a completely different persona from when she’s at home because she’s uncomfortable with herself/around her ‘friends’ and uses it as a way to cope? Oh my god, she has a completely different persona from when she’s at home because she’s uncomfortable with herself/around her ‘friends’ and uses it as a way to cope. *sobs* so many bonding moments.
Now. His relationship with Natsuo. So much teasing.
So cheesy too.
Natsuo who has more time to eat with the family now that Katsuki is around.
Who had time to go to parks, or sit in the garden outside
Who had time to watch cartoons on Saturdays with the twins
And the always eat breakfast together .
Whenever Natsuo brings home work, Bakugou lounges in his office and works in whatever he has too.
He listen to Natsuo complain about his coworkers and tell Natsuo about whatever dumb things his friends did/were trying to pull him into or complain about teaching
Natsuo always brings home a pastry from the bakery by his office for Katsuki because according to Natsuo they were the ‘best bakery to ever exist’ but according to Bakugou the goods were ‘subpar at best and I could totally make better’ and he wanted to find one that Bakugou liked so that Bakugou would finally bake him something
Bakugou kinda hated Natsuo at first, because he knows all about shitty parents that don’t give their children the time of day, but he eventually sees that Natsuo is trying his hardest and is here for them in all the ways that matter, so <3 (he also said to himself that the family dynamics wasn’t his business and that he wasn’t going to judge. But there he was, judging, judgingly)
Bakugou falls asleep one night with the kids on the sofa while reading them a book(like a novel novel) (yes even the eldest, she like making fun of his exaggeration/taking turns reading parts) and when Natsuo comes home he just…stops and looks at them.
Consider Natsuo having an emotional freak out and projecting onto Bakugou because the baby’s first word was ‘papa’ but they weren’t looking at Natsuo when they said it. (yeah, one year old still counts as a toddler right? I dont think that's late for your first word?? Is it? I’ll look it up later)
He spends so much time over thinking it and thinking about how much he doesn’t hate it a single bit that he ends up fighting with Bakugou and basically firing him.
And the twins get really upset with him. Visibility upset. He thinks his daughter is fine, because she doesn’t complain or even say anything because #eldestdaughterthings but he hears her crying one night on the phone with Bakugou.
Now, everyone is sad and a bit stand-offish, the baby is crying more often, and he misses Bakugou and everyone else misses him too and it’s a mess.
… they get together when the other parent comes for their like,,, check in, pay confirmation, idk I’ll make up something, and then they ask Natsuo where his ‘little boyfriend is’. After Natsuo clarifies that they’re not dating, never were, and that Bakugou is not here they say something like ‘what a shame. love looked good on you.’ or something to that effect, I don’t know the words right now, just the vibe.
(I totally forgot about the girlfriend I mentioned earlier so yeah, this was where he finally saw that he needed to break up with her, she already saw it coming, pain, bless her heart)
Anyway. Natsuo going to find Bakugou and there is some cursing, some tears, well deserved use of the term ‘fucking idiot’, maybe a bit of time and space(?) and finally *plays It’s Quiet Uptown* ‘forgiveness. Can you imagine?’.
Welp, that's the main plot! Writing will definitely include more characters (Fuyumi, Shoto, my loves, I’m looking at you) and what not. I’ll get on it right after I finish the next few chapters of the BakuMomo friendship fic i have going on.

Hi can I get a todoroki x reader where her quirk is pretty much venom (from marvel). Like venom talks to her and sometimes its hard to concentrate on what she's doing and when it comes to fighting and training everyone is amazed at what she can do. She feels self conscious about it tho bc she thinks she's scary (esp mid transformation) but todoroki sympathizes and makes her feel better then some love confession??
a/n: hiya!! of course! there’s another request similar to this one which i’ll get to soon, but i love venom! the new movie was so good, and tom hardy- he’s hot lmfao. thank you for the request hun!
summary: your quirk is something different. it’s brutal and dark but it’s powerful. you’re self-conscious about using your quirk because you think it seems scary, but todoroki is by your side helping you out.
listen to venom by eminem!
key: (y/n) - your name / (f/n) - first name / (l/n) - last name / (e/c) - eye color / (h/c) - hair color / venom - your quirk
warnings: swearing, fluff
wordcount: 868

Venom. Your quirk and symbiote companion. Your quirk is kind of a weird one, getting into explanations and such. Much like Tokoyami’s Dark Shadow, your quirk is sentient.
It takes over your body and can even talk to you. Its voice is deep and when you transform, you become covered in this black tar-like substance. It’s stupidly powerful and badass.
Ever since your quirk manifested, you’d been self-conscious of it. while you were growing up, it would only take on the shape of your body, but now, it’s transformation is huge, and can even grow up to be seven feet tall.
- - -
It’s just like any other day. Sitting in class, staring out the window, worried about having to do training among your peers. It’s not the first time they’ve seen you use your quirk, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t feel any less scary.
What are you looking at?
It’s Venom. He’s talking again. You try your hardest to ignore him, he makes things hard to focus on sometimes, like during tests when you’re hungry or you’re doing homework and he’s bored.
“Nothing.” You mumble quietly as to not disrupt the class.
Todoroki’s been keeping his eye on you lately. He finds you fascinating, and your quirk is no short of amazing. He enjoys working with you. It’s not only your skill that he’s impressed with. He finds you pretty damn cute.
He’s got a crush.
Training was about to begin and Todoroki could see that you were anxious. He made his way over to you.
“Hey.” He spoke softly and curtly. You were talking to Todoroki, no Todoroki was talking to you.
You’d had a crush on him for a while, probably since his two-toned eyes looked your direction.
“Hey.” You speak back, twiddling your fingers. You were fixing to go up against Bakugou, a training match you were honestly looking forward too despite feeling like he was going to blast you to shreds.
“Bakugou’s pretty good, but he’s human too. I know you can match him pretty well.” The corner of Todoroki’s lips perked upward, like they were trying to form a smile.
Your cheeks were burning, and it felt like they were a blaring red signal showing your fluster.
“Thank you.” You smile, feeling a little bit of confidence build up inside you. Todoroki was right, Bakugou was just another classmate, you could take him down. He was strong, but based on some diagnostic tests, you were almost as strong, if not the tiniest bit stronger. You just had to outsmart the brash porcupine.
When it was your turn to fight, you were nervous. Feeling better slightly, you were still scared to transform. Todoroki was watching you. What if he hated what he saw, when you used all of your quirk?
Letting Venom seep out of your pores, you became encased in the dark slimy-goo that was Venom.
“I already beat one of you mud freaks before!” Bakugou shouted, charging at you.
“Eyes, lungs, pancreas-”
“We can’t eat Bakugou!” You shout at him from inside. Venom groans and swings an arm out, encasing Bakugou’s exploding fist. Blasting bits of Venom off with his explosions, Bakugou keeps firing.
You’re quick to flex and swing him off of you, flinging him back. He gets up rather easily and charges at you again. You’ve got to tire him out before you can even begin hitting him or he’ll just blast Venom out of you. You can’t have that.
Todoroki and the rest of your classmates watch, amazement written on their expressions.
You were winning now. Dodging Bakugou’s blasts and landings some good hits on him. He was angry. He didn’t want to be beaten by you. But it was too late.
When the fight was finished, you loomed over Bakugou, Venom smiling down over him, large white eyes staring at him, drool falling from venom’s mouth.
Venom’s face pulled away like magnet putty retracting against an opposing force of magnetism, and your face showed. You extended an arm out to help him us as Venom sank back into your pores.
“You were the first fight that really felt real. Thank you.” You smile, thanking Bakugou for giving it his all.
“Whatever.” Bakugou groaned, ignoring your hand and hopping up.
Todoroki was quick to rush to your side and congratulate you on your win.
“That was pretty impressive.” He nodded. You smiled and hugged him.
“Thank you. I was really nervous but now I feel fucking amazing. That was so exhilarating.”
Todoroki’s cheeks turned pink as your arms hugged him closer to you. You were so warm. His left side felt so nice compared to how warm you were.
“Would you maybe want to train with me, sometime?” Todoorki asks, hugging you back.
“Really? You’d want to train together?’ You question, pulling away.
“Yeah.” Todoroki scratches the back of his neck nervously. He wanted to train with you. He wanted to get closer to you too. This could be good.
“I’d like that a lot.” You smiled.
“Tomorrow? And we could get lunch after if you’d like.” Todoroki proposed. You nodded and linked your pinky with his.
“It’s a date then.” You winked.
“Y-yeah. A date.”

Just A Game: Gonna' Ask Her
Anime: My Hero Academia (SMAU)
LEVEL DOWN | MENU | LEVEL UP
Tumblr media
Y/N took her car and drove down to Shinso's house. She had texted her roommates that she'd be out for the day, and when Bakugou asked why, she informed them. Both of them were extremely wary about the situation. Kirishima offered to come along.
By now, they'd been filled with worries, prompting Bakugou to call her.
"You're making a really dumb decision." Bakugou states, his voice booming around the car.
Y/N frowned a little as she stopped at a red light. "I know, Katsuki." She sighed out, running her hands down the steering wheel, "But I'm sure that if I don't do this, it'll haunt me the rest of my life."
Bakugou goes quiet.
Y/N knows her best friend. Bakugou's gone into his bedroom, which was further down the hall than Kirishima and Y/N'd. Bakugou is most likely leaning against the wall of his walk-in closet, door closed so that Kirishima couldn't hear his conversation.
Y/N also knew her other best friend. Kirishima is probably eating Bakugou's stress cooking (gydon most likely) as he watches work out videos and random short clips to get his mind off of everything. He's trying not to check his phone, because he's expecting a text from Y/N.
But they know her just as well. They know Y/N is tapping her fingers against the steering wheel because she's as nervous as she was on her first day of high school. Y/N probably has a cup of milktea in her cup holder, half empty within the first 15 minutes of buying it because she stress drinks like how Bakugou stress cooks.
"You know that you don't need him." Bakugou says, shuffling around the coats in his wardrobe, "I don't understand why you're so eager to mend things with that fucker. He messed up. You shouldn't forgive me, just because he suddenly wants to actually be honest with you."
Y/N turned the corner, sipping from her straw in the milktea. "You know I value your opinion because most of the time, you're right." She huffed, putting her drink back, "But... I don't know, maybe after hearing him out, I can finally get over all of this."
Bakugou stiffened, leaning against the door. He crossed his arms over his chest. After a moment, he says, "He doesn't deserve you, Y/N."
Her lips have parted by now and she's staring harder at the road. "Nobody deserves anybody." She replies to her friend, "People aren't entitled to 'win' anyone over. They just need to want them enough to persue them."
Bakugou shakes his head and leans it against the door. Of course she'd say that. As he closed his eyes, he spoke into the phone, "Let me rephrase that then, idiot." He opened his eyes, staring at the ceiling. "You deserve better."
Y/N chuckled after a second, shaking her head slowly, "You're only saying that because you miss the relationship I was in from high school."
"That was a Hell of a lot better than this shit." Bakugou stated.
"I'll fix this shit, Katsuki." Y/N spoke, looking determined, "Trust me."
So, Bakugou did. He hung up after telling her that he was making takoyaki for when she came home. He left Y/N with hope and her own thoughts.
She thought that Shinso and herself would be alone. But then, when she drove into Shinso's driveway, she recognised the two cars parked there. One was Shinso's stick-shift, the black car he used when they went around. The other was most definitely Midoriya's, a dark green Mazda Sedan.
Y/N knocked on the door, being met with Uraraka. "Oh... I'm—I'm sorry, I thought that Shinso would be here—" She began, feeling her cheeks warm up with embarrassment. But Uraraka waved her hands.
"Wait!" She said, stopping Y/N from walking away, "Shinso's here, he is! He's just, um... talking to Midoriya and Iida. He'll be finished in a bit."
Y/N only nodded her head. She sighed as Uraraka let her inside and told her that she could sit on the stool. Y/N took out her phone while Uraraka went into the room with all the yelling. It sounded like Shinso didn't invite them over. She could hear Midoriya try to stop him from shouting and Iida telling him to calm down. Uraraka quickly closed the door behind her, passing Todoroki while he walked out.
"Oh, hi Y/N." Todoroki spoke, sipping from his cup. He walked towards her spot. "How're you? It's been a while since we've seen each other last."
Y/N chuckled, scratching the back of her neck sheepishly, "Yeah, it has been. Pretty sure the last time I actually spoke to you was at laser tag."
"We should all go again." Todoroki said.
Y/N hummed, drawing circles on the marble counter, "Hmm. Maybe."
"Would you like something to drink?" Todoroki asked, already guiding her around the kitchen counter. He took out cans and mugs for the both of them. "I have some tea that Shinso mentioned you liked."
Y/N blinked at the thought. She then nodded her head, Todoroki asking her to fill and start the kettle as he put the tea bags in.
The door swung open to reveal a very flustered and messy Shinso. He hair was sticking up in weird places and he was breathing heavily. He looked like he was having a mid-life crisis. Y/N raised a brow at him.
"Y/N, I didn't think you'd come so early." Shinso said, fixing his shirt since he seemed a bit dishevelled. He cleared his throat and stood in front of her. "Um... Do you want to talk outside?"
"I'm fine with talking here, Shinso."
Her words were soft but icy. As if passive aggressive. Shinso had chills up his spine from how she spoke to him. Y/N sat up properly on the stool as Shinso shifted in his spot. She sipped from her cup.
Uraraka, Iida, Midoriya and Todoroki all stared at them. The girl then mumbled, pushing the boys ups the stairs, "We'll leave you two alone."
"Will he be alright by himself?" Todoroki asked quietly to them, making Midoriya and Iida nod their head profusely.
It was silent after they all went upstairs, probably not that far to hear what they were saying. But Shinso started it off.
"I'm really sorry for lying to you about that night."
After that, he said nothing. Or rather, he stopped speaking. Y/N only stared at him, brushing her hand against her neck. She waited for him to go on, to apologise further for the way he acted. But he was silent.
"I'm over that." She retorts, crossing her arms over her chest after drinking from her cup, "You apologised for that the last time I saw you."
"I—I know." Shinso replies, shifting in his spot near her. He avoided her gaze once again. "I just thought... you might want to hear it again. Is all."
Y/N sighed, standing up from her spot and brushing out the creases in her shirt, "Well, of that's all, then I'll be going. Is there anything else?"
Shinso held his breath. "N—... No." He replied, immediately regretting it as she nodded her head.
Shinso blinked as she went to the door after finishing her tea. She put her bag on and placed her hand on the doorknob. "Thank Todoroki for me, for the tea." She said, glancing over her shoulder to him.
Shinso stood in his spot, staring at her with wide eyes. She's just... leaving.
It's when the door shut behind her that he snapped out of his trance.
Bounding down the stairs was Uraraka and Midoriya.
"What are you doing?" Uraraka shouted, pointing at Shinso with a surprised look, "Go after her!"
Shinso looked back at the two, Iida and Todoroki poking theirs heads out from the top of the stairs. Midoriya puffed out his cheeks and spoke, "This is your one chance to make up for things! Go, Shinso, go!"
He stiffened up before waving his hands at them defensively, already walking towards the door.
Y/N was in her car, backing out of the driveway as she looks over her shoulder to the road. Shinso gulped, lifting his shoulder and running out towards the street. Y/N looks back to her front, pressing on the gas pedal.
But stops when Shinso stands in front of her car with his arms spread out wide.
Y/N harshly stomped on the brakes, feeling her body jolt forward before landing back on her chair.
She blinked, seeing him pant harshly.
"Shinso!" She shouted loudly, getting out of the car and standing up straight. She glared at him with bewildered eyes. "What is wrong with you? I could've run you over, you idiot!"
Shinso let out a sigh, walking over to her.
Y/N ran her fingers up her neck, her mind going wild. "You're so—so confusing! You just said that you had nothing left to talk to me about, and I drove all the way here just to hear you say 'I'm sorry'? Are you freaking kidding me?" She shouted at him, "Fuck, maybe Katsuki was right, I shouldn't have come here! We're never gonna' sort this shit out because you don't know how to just tell me the tru—"
Arms wrapped around her shoulders and pulled her into his chest, his head digging into the top of her shoulder.
Y/N stopped, stepping back to support herself as Shinso dove all his weight into her. "Shinso—"
"Can we take a drive?"
Y/N sighed, snaking her arms around his waist and holding onto him loosely, "Fine. Get in, we're going to go get food."
Shinso nodded his head. He let go of her after a few seconds, rounding the car to get into the passenger's seat. Y/N shut the door behind her, starting the car again and driving down the road.
"Do you think it's gonna' be okay?" Midoriya questioned, watching the car drive off from the opened door that Shinso forgot to close.
"He'll make it right." Iida said, fixing his classes as he walked back to the kitchen, "He has to."
"Shinso said he's gonna' ask her about her ex."
Everyone turned to Todoroki, sheer fear in their eyes as he read off what he got texted.

Pancakes for dinner pt two
Aizawa x y/n
Part one part three will be the last.
CW: talks of murder and swearing
I really fucked up the times but I’m not gonna fix it.
ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
Aizawa’s POV
“Finally” he says, relief flooding his chest as your name lights up his phone screen. It’s been weeks since you’ve spoken. “Y/n” he says when he answers and you laugh “hey Shouta you sound like you missed me” god he loves your laugh, and of course he misses you! Every second of every day. But he doesn’t want to interrupt your time with your man or school and then there’s the time difference. It’s probably five pm there since. “I always miss you y/n. How are you?” He leans back in his chair at his desk “I’m alright, I just missed your voice and I wanted to talk” his heart skips and he grimaces at the reaction.
For years he’s tried to stop loving you. He knows you only think of him as a brother, he wouldn’t ever bring it up to you. He will respect your feelings. He just wishes his body and heart would respect him.
“I had to stop what I was doing and go out to the field to stop them from fucking fighting, but All Might is there when I leave the building. Turns out the fight was his fault because he neglected Bakugou and favored Deku” he has one hand behind his head and his feet up on his desk catching you up on his life “but you still gave them punishment for fighting right? Suspension and garbage duty for the dorm?” Your voice was amused and he could hear your smile through the phone. “Yeah I did” he laughs “that exact punishment. How did you know?” “Because I know you Shouta” you say with a laugh and he blushes and then cursed himself Internally. “So how’s what’s her face?” He resisted the urge to groan.
He was dating some girl he met at the grocery store for a few months. Trying to get rid of his feelings for you. But it didn’t work. He still had his feelings for you, he still cared about you more than anything and anyone else.
“I don’t know” he says and pinches the bridge of his nose. Her voice was too calm when she answered, he noticed “why wouldn’t you know? You’re dating her” he debates weather or not to just tell you the truth right now. Get it off his chest. But he remembers your real feelings and after a few seconds he sighs “I broke up with her a few weeks ago” he says gruff with his palm over his eyes “why?” He barely heard your voice. His heart is beating quickly “I realized that she wasn’t the one for me and I didn’t want to string her along” “huh”
After a pause he hears you quietly whisper “Hey Aizawa?” He sets his feet on the ground and leans forward “Hmmm?” “I broke up with him a couple months ago. He was cheating on me” he has half a mind to fly straight there and fucking murder the kid. Just kill him and dump his body in the river. After he calms himself down he let about the breath he was holding and says “oh. . . Y/n why didn’t you tell me?” He’s a little sad because maybe you were growing away from him. He hears a little bit of sadness in your voice when you respond “I didn’t want to worry you or take any time from your girlfriend” his ex girlfriend. If only you knew how much he loved you, he can’t help but sadly laugh “you know that you’re more important to me than anyone. Y/n! Come on” he admits in a whisper “That’s why I broke up with her”
“can I ask you something?” Your voice was quiet, it immediately worried him “Sure...” “how come you never asked me out in the beginning? That week after I met you I almost thought you liked me for a second” he hears the nervousness in your laugh. “Don’t you see me as a brother?” His voice was gruff although he was trying hard to just sound normal. You laugh and it catches him off guard when you say “what?! No!. What made you think that?.” But I heard her, she said it. He sighed “I heard you on the phone once with your sister. You were laughing and you said in a horrified voice how you only see him as a brother and anything more grossed you out” this time your laugh was loud as well as your voice “Shouta Aizawa! No! That conversation was about Zashi!” His phone almost drops from his hand. Hizashi. She was talking about hizashi. And he wasted years of love thinking you’d never love him. What a fucking idiot. I am such a Fucking idiot he laughs loud
“oh” he says quietly, he was freaking out if he was being honest and you laugh ““y/n, I ...” he starts but stops when he hears you say at the same time “Aizawa, I ..” he smiles but hears your laugh cut out and someone on the other side yelling by your roommate. “I have to go. The dorms are being attacked. We will finish this conversation after we’re done and everyone’s safe.” He’s sitting up straight now, nervous for you “Y/n! Be careful. I know you’re strong. I believe in you!” He tries to send you his energy through the phones “Thank you. Talk to you soon” and you hang up. He tries to go back to work, he’s doing paperwork during his free time between classes and lunch but he can’t help but he worried for you and constantly checking his phone.
When you call again half an hour later you’re yelling as soon as he presses answer, it makes him laugh before he realizes it means you got hurt. You only ever get crazy energy when you get hurt fighting. “Shouta! The kids are fine! I’ll be fine as well once the stitches are done” there we are he hates when you’re hurt. It’s the worst for him. Your laugh was awkward before you spoke again “I’m coming home! I got a plane ticket. I have the next couple weeks off because of this attack and I need to see you. It’s been too long. And.. I .. I think that I should probably tell you this now, in case there is an accident and I never see you again. I think it’s time to be brave!” He laughs worriedly. You’re coming home? Youre worried about a plane crash?“youre coming home? What’s going on?” Your voice was wild as you continued “I don't wanna say something wrong or be weird so if this comes out wrong let’s just forget about it. And if you're still in love with her then we will just pretend that I didn’t say anything. Two years away from you has felt like forever. I tried to find the right time to tell you but it never happened. I chickened out. Like the time I asked how was fall semester? I wanted to tell you how much I loved talking to you every single night. And that conversation we had about your favorite band? Spur of the moment because what I really wanted was to tell you how much I missed hugging you.” In love with her? What is she talking about? What is she gonna say wrong? He’s standing up at his desk now, his heart rate quick “Y/n take a breath and tell me what you’re trying so hard to tell me” hes trying to stay calm he hears you take a deep breath “okay. Here it goes. Ill tell you. Shouta. I’m gonna say it” He laughs. He knows you so well. You’re nervous “stop stalling” he keeps his voice calm. You laugh and then speak the clearest thing he’s heard from you yet “I’m coming home for a couple weeks, if the plane happens to crash tonight and I never get to see you again I’d want you to know that I am in ..”
“IN WHAT?? IN WHAT Y/N?!” He’s yelling in his phone now, yours must have died. At the complete wrong time “FUCK!” He starts to pace and tries to call you back a couple times just getting your machine. He stops and takes a deep breath. “Calm down. She’ll call you back” she’ll say what she meant. She’ll say she’s in trouble. She is in a choir group maybe. Maybe she’s in need of some R and R. Or she’ll say she’s in love with me. God I hope that’s the one. Fuck here’s my next class
When he checks his phone at three, he curses under his breath. Of course he missed her call he was teaching. Fucking 17 hour time difference.
He puts his phone to his ear to listen.
“I’m sorry. My phone died and I don’t have much time before I get on the plane” his heart races as he hears you running through the airport in the background , he turns towards the window in his class room plugging his other ear “my phone is going to die again so I’ll be quick. I’ve been in love you with for as long as I can remember.” He stops breathing. that’s it. His wish. His biggest dream. The message continues “I didn’t realize until I left you. My plane gets there in 13 hours if you feel the same pick me up. If you don’t then I’ll go back right away and we can pretend this never...” the message ends and he asumes your phone died again. Okay. He thinks okay. 13 from the time she called at 12:30pm. That makes it 1:30 am. He has so much to do until then.

Summary:
alternatively titled: five times denki and hanta pretend to boyfriends and one time they actually are
Chapter One: 732 words
It’s a rare day when the whole class is allowed off campus without supervision. But they’re nearly third years now, and most of them have more than held their own against villains alone. It would be too easy to subdue any villains foolish enough to go against the entirety of Class A, and that’s the only reason Aizawa let them go. That and the fact that they finished their final exams and even their grump of a teacher isn’t mean enough to keep them from celebrating.
They aren’t doing anything too exciting, just shopping for their last summer camp. Not all of them need to buy things, but it’s fun to hang out as a group. Hanta watches Uraraka, Mina, and Hagakure bully Midoriya into buying more fashionable clothes.
“What’s wrong with my clothes?” Midoriya protests. “I like them.”
“Midoriya, sweetie, your shirt literally says ‘pants.’ All of your clothes are like that,” sighs Mina. “It was funny the first few times, but you never wear anything else. You’re wasting your potential! You’ve got a great bod, show it off!”
“What about this? It’s cute, right?” Uraraka butts in from behind a rack of clothing. Midoriya’s eyes widen as she holds up a shirt for the other two girls to see.
“Uraraka, that’s a crop top!” cries Midoriya, blushing red from head to equally red shoes. “I can’t wear that!”
“Why not?” whines Hagakure. “I agree with Mina! Your stomach is way buff, that top would show it off like a pro.” She snags the top from Uraraka and holds it up to Midoriya’s chest to compare. The other two nod in agreement.
“It is cute, I like it!” Mina exclaims. Hanta can see what she means. It’s a pale sort of blue that compliments Midoriya’s hair and it’s small enough that Hanta can tell it’ll be tight around Midoriya’s broad shoulders. “At least try it on! We just wanna see how it looks!”
“Yeah, Midoriya, it would look really cute on you!” adds Hagakure. “If you don’t like how it looks, we won’t make you get it.”
“Please, Deku?” begs Uraraka. “If you want, we can write ‘long sleeves’ on it to match the rest of your clothes.”
“Well, if you promise I’ll only have to put it on,” he concedes, worn down by their pleading. Midoriya might be one of the smartest and strongest people in their class, but it’s near impossible for him to refuse anybody. Hanta looks away as the trio cheers, hustling the green-haired boy to a changing room with their previous picks. His gaze lands on Denki, chatting with a stranger at the entrance of the store.
Hanta narrows his eyes. Denki doesn’t look uncomfortable, but Hanta knows him well enough to tell Denki’s too-loud voice and fixed smile means he doesn’t want to be talking to the guy but also doesn’t want to seem rude. Never one to leave his friend in trouble, Hanta pushes off the wall and heads in their direction.
“A cutie like you deserves a real man. How about you give me your number, huh?” Hanta hears as he nears them.
“Ah, no, I, um, can’t,” Denki says, starting to stutter.
“No need to be shy, sweetheart, I won’t bite. Unless you want me to,” the guy leers.
“What he means is,” Hanta cuts in, “he already has a boyfriend.” He slides an arm around Denki’s waist and smiles winningly at the stranger. He tries not to dwell on the fact that Denki fits perfectly there, because this is a Serious Situation, but it’s not like he can just turn his feelings off.
The guy grumbles something under his breath and Hanta narrows his eyes at him, smiling all the while. “Are we going to have a problem?” Hanta knows that while he might not seem intimidating, he’s at least a head taller than the dude and considerably more muscular, what with all the hero training.
At least the guy knows when to quit it. “Whatever, man. Just trying to be nice,” he mutters, slouching off. He says something else, but Hanta ignores it in favor of checking up on Denki.
“Hey, man, you okay? That dude was a sleaze.”
“Yeah, I’m fine. We were talking about Pokemon before he decided it would be a great idea to hit on me. But then you swooped in to save the day! My hero~” Denki flutters his eyes at Hanta, already back to his normal joking self.
The mini-Hantas running around in his brain are currently freaking out at top speed because Denki Fluttered His Eyelashes At Us And We Are Very Gay Send Help. But the Hanta in control of his body only snorts at this, because this is just how Denki is with everyone. “Come on—wanna watch the girls try to dress up Midoriya?”

Once Upon A Dream *3*
Bakugou Katsuki x F.Reader
Sleeping Beauty X Dragon Princce Katsuki
Words: 7,000+
Note: Finally got a computer again! Here’s part 3 to the Sleeping Beauty X Fantasy BNHA AU :)
Tumblr media
.
.
Wind whipped around the young Prince as he and his dragon flew high in the skies. A musical hum could be heard from Katsuki as he thought of the girl he was on his way to see. Eijirou could even hear it and had to stop himself from laughing. His rider was head over heels for this mystery girl and Eijirou was happy to see this side of him.
The dragon looked down at the familiar forest and looked for the cottage that Katsuki had told him about, the one where his future bride was expecting him.
“Oi! Shitty scales, land in that clearing, I don’t you need freaking out her parents or some shit.” Katsuki ordered.
Eijirou let out a groan and looked for another clearing, circling the forest, his eyes piercing through the dark evening til he found a spot and landed.
The Dragon prince jumped off and tried to dust himself off, make himself look presentable as he tried to fix his hair just a bit and began practising what he was gonna say.
“Alright. Hello. Hello. You are the light of my fucking life and you’re gonna marry me. No, that’s lame.” Katsuki walked around the clearing, quickly picking up wildflowers, hoping that (y/n) would like them.
“I want you to rule beside me, as my Queen, we will... we will...”
Eijirou rolled on his back, a sound that could be called laughter, leaving his jaws only to be hit in the head with a large boot.
“SHUT UP!” The ash-blonde screamed, his face red with embarrassment. He had never proposed before; he had never been in love before. He was terrified but excited.
Katsuki looked down at the ring his mother had given him.
Would (y/n) like it? Was it enough?
Of course not, all the jewellery in the treasury wasn’t enough, all the gold in the world wasn’t enough. But Katsuki would start with his and build a hoard of jewels for her in her honour.
The Prince adjusted his cloak and made sure all his best features were on display, fluffing out his cloak and running a hand through his spiky ash-blonde locks.
He even breathed into his hand to check his breath.
“Alright... stay out sight,” Kastuki ordered.
Eijirou gave out a whine and flopped on his back, rolling back and forth as if throwing a tantrum. The dragon wanted to meet (y/n) already, the curiosity was killing him.
“I’m gonna lead her here, but if you even think of pulling that cuddly shit or lick her of something, I’m gonna make a new armour set out of you, got it?”
The Prince’s best friend gave him a nod of approval before, curling up and making himself comfortable in the grass meadow.
“Stay out of sight, I’ll be back soon.”
Katsuki marched through the forest, humming (y/n) ’s song as he went, he got excited to look into (y/n) ’s eyes once more, lay claim to her lips and then ride off together. Even the thought of her large doe eyes and bright smile brought a genuine smile to his own face.
Out of the forest, he finally came upon the cottage, it was small and nothing like the home he had grown up in. He couldn’t wait to show her his home and the rest of the country, share his world with her.
“Okay. ‘I am Prince Katsuki of the Dragon Kingdom and... I am going to marry your daughter.’ Perfect.” Katsuki gave a loud knock on the door while puffing out his chest. He heard a ‘come in’ and did as the voice said, strutting in as if he was coming home, ready to hand the flowers to his dream girl.
The house was dark, not a soul in sight. Something wasn’t right.
“Hello? (Y/N)?” Katsuki called out as he stepped into the quaint dark cottage, an eerie feeling settling over him. The slamming of the door behind him made him jump and then all chaos broke out.
Katsuki was jumped from all sides, ropes were thrown and wrapped around him, trying to pull him towards the ground, but he fought up the multiple attackers. He could hardly see, and he was vastly outnumbered, there must have been ten minions all trying to subdue the Prince.
“Ya shitty nobodies! I’ll kill y-” A gag was thrown over his mouth before he could finish. Even when he was tightly wrapped up in strong ropes and gagged he was still trying to make an escape.
A shadow emerged from the corner, carrying a candle so they could get a good look at the captured soul. Katsuki squinted as the hot light was brought close to his face.
“Well, well. This is a pleasant surprise. I set my trap for a peasant, but I’ve got a prince. And not just any prince, a Dragon prince.” Overhaul’s muffled voice taunted before letting out a malicious cackle.
The fierce prince continued to fight and struggle against the various ropes, his ruby eyes glaring at the villain. If looks could kill, Overhaul would be six feet under already.
“Away with him.” Overhaul ordered as he gestured towards the door. Overhaul’s minions grunted as they struggled with their captured Prince, it took all of them to drag him out the door.
“I have the perfect lodgings for his’ highness.’” The villain mocked as he walked after them into the dark night.

.
“What in the world?”
Queen Mistuki walked through the gates with her entourage, the vast kingdom was quiet except for the sound of snores that played like a strange symphony.
“Everyone’s... sleeping?” Denki observed as he looked around, poking a soldier who was leaning on his spear for balance as he slept.
“Keep your guard up, it could be a trap. Mina, be ready to transform and fly us outta here if we need it.” Mitsuki ordered the pink dragon shifter, who gave her a ‘yes ma’am’.
The small party walked their way through the beautiful kingdom, soon making to the castle where no one stopped them or even greeted them as they made their way through.
The ash-blonde Queen quickly opened the castle doors only to be met with the end of a sword.
“What is your business here.” A young prince of red and white hair announced, staring at the large group with his broadsword pointed. He would protect the Queens and the sleeping Princess from whatever came through this door.
“........”
The red-clad Queen burst out in laughter, clutching her stomach as she bent over, Denki, Mina and Sero all looked at their Queen slightly worried for her mental well-being.
“AHahahahahahaah You... aHahaa you got spunk. And that glare! You must be that batard Enji’s son.” Mitsuki belted out, her loud voice filling the entire castle, even reaching the women who looked over the Princess in the tallest tower.
Shouto’s glare only grew colder as he hated that comparison more than anything, and he stepped forward with his sword, only to clash swords with Queen Mistuk’s guard.
“Hold on, we’re not here to hurt anyone.” Sero tried to reason while his Queen just stepped back and smirked, enjoying the bit of drama, this was better than some boring party.
“Then, why are you here?” Shouto asked, eyeing everyone as he wasn’t about to let his guard down, not when the rest of the kingdom was defenceless.
“We were invited to the party... but it looks like... plans changed.” Mitsuki had finally dropped the smirk as she took a good look around, walking through the large hall and coming to the giant thrones where the good King sat, resting his head on his hand as he slept, a bit of drool coming out of the side of his mouth and into his beard.
“What happened here?” She asked, and before Shouto could tell her to leave, a voice interrupted.
“Queen Mitsuki! You came!” Called out a slightly out of breath voice as footsteps clicked across the marble ballroom, lifting her heavy golden dress as she ran.
“Of course, I couldn’t turn down a royal invitation, could I?” Mitsuki went to greet her long time pen-pal, but there were no smiles as Mitsuki noticed Queen’s Sabina’s red swollen eyes.
“What happened here? Why is everyone sleeping?” Mitsuki asked as she gestured to the sleeping King.
“They’re under a spell, please come with me.” The Queen told her once she had caught her breath after running through the castle, she grabbed the Dragon Queen’s hand and started leading her back to the tower.
“See, chill out, man, we’re all friends here.” Denki patted Shouto on the back to try and ease the irritated Prince.
He let out a sigh and finally sheathed his sword.
“I’m here to protect my Mother and Queen Sabina, not make friends. If I see any of you try to bring them harm, I will show you no mercy.” Shouto declared, taking his job seriously as he glared at the three Dragon tribe folk.
“Brrr.. Did it suddenly get icy in here.” Sero shivered as he sheathed his own blade.
“Let’s go explore!” Mina decided as she already ran off, her two friends trailing behind her trying to say this wasn’t the time, but the pink dragon shifter couldn’t care less, she was in a new place and was curious.
“Let’s go find the kitchen!! I’m craving cake!” Mina announced as she bounced off, trusting her nose to lead her to the desserts.
“.... I kinda wish I had gone with Katsuki and Eijirou.” Denki sighed as he followed after his friend and Sero crossed his arms and nodded, still wary of all the sleeping guests and soldiers as they walked through the halls.
They were probably having a better time than them.
.
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
.
Three small fairies raced through the night sky, as fast as they fairy wings could carry them as they flew through the forest and onto the cottage they had called home for so long, it now had lost the warm glow of home as it windows were dark.
Bursting through the door, they looked around for the mystery man (y/n) had told them about, the one she was in love with.
“No one’s here!” Uraraka called out as she searched the wood cottage, even checking the cookie jar to see if the stranger was in there.
“But... Someone was.” Momo looked around the room, tossed furniture, broken glasses littered the floor.
Izuku picked up a black feather as well a strange necklace with what looked like fangs.
“Overhaul.... he was here... along with... someone else..” Izuku muttered, and then a loud roar broke through the silence, making the three jump in fright.
“Wh-wha-wh-what- what was that??” Uraraka trembled as she inched towards her fellow fairies for safety.
“A--a a bear?” Momo proposed even though she knew that the sound was much too large to be just a regular forest bear.
A loud knock made the three scream and huddle close together.
“Hello? I’m looking for my friend? He said he was going to the cottage and this is the only one... hello? Anyone home?” The energetic voice of a young man called out.
The three fairies looked to another and then back at the door where the voice came from.
“Should... should we answer it?” Izuku asked, still wary of whatever roared.
“Oh come on, you two, enough, we are in a crisis, and we have no time to be scared.” Momo reasoned as she shook off her fright and answered the door.
“Hello?” Momo greeted as she opened the door and was met with red eyes, red hair and sharp white teeth. The red-haired boy hid his dragon features the best he could, but his teeth were something he couldn’t change.
“Hey! Name’s Eijirou, I’m looking for-” The boy greeted as he smiled at the three fairies, letting off a friendly energy.
“(y/n)?” The blue fairy jumped forward, hoping that this was the man they were looking for and that their search was over.
“Huh? No, um not really I mean.... I guess if I found her I would find Katsuki... but no I’m looking for Katsuki. Hey! That’s his necklace!” Eijirou pointed to the fang necklace in the green fairy’s hand.
“Katsuki?” Uraraka repeated.
“As... as in THE Dragon Prince Katsuki?” Izuku shouted, feeling like his soul left this body. The fairies had only been to the Dragon Kingdom once or twice, and while they had never met the Prince, they had heard of his foul temper and violent ways.
“Yeah, about this tall, spiky blonde hair, wears a fluffy red cape, bit of an attitude. He came here to purpose to his dream girl, but-” The red-haired boy took a look around the room.
“What happened here? These are the flower’s he picked for (y/n)! What are they doing on the floor?” Eijirou leaned down and grabbed the discarded wildflowers.
“Dragon Prince Katsuki is the one that (y/n) loves?!?!?!” Uraraka and Izuku screamed in unison, and Momo let out a massive sigh.
“Calm down, you two! We have a crisis. Eijirou, I’m sorry, but Overhaul came here and kidnapped Prince Katsuki.” Momo tried to explain as she kept her cool throughout the whole ordeal.
“Overhaul?! Why was he here!? Did he take (y/n) as well?” Eijirou asked, worried for his friend but also for the girl he had yet to meet.
“We’ll explain on the way, we need to go now. No time to lose. To the Forbidden Mountain!” Momo declared.
“But we can’t... we can’t go there.” Izuku gasped, chills going down his spine at the very mention of the eerie lair of the villain.
“We can, and we must!” The Red fairy wore a look of determination, and Eijirou rapidly nodded his head, ready to rescue his friend.
“Alright, hop on.” Eijirou said as he turned and took in a giant breath.
“Hop on?” Uraraka asked, tilting her head as she watched the red-haired boy roll back his shoulders as if he was getting ready for something.
And before their eyes, Eijirou transformed into a dragon, inside the cabin...... making the entire place crumble.
There was a guilty look in the dragon’s eyes as he eyed the now ruined wooden cottage.
“.....”
“Nevermind the cabin, let’s go!” Uraraka yelled as she latched herself to one of Eijirou’s horns and the others followed suit.
.
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
.
Eijirou flew as fast as his large red wings could, the three fairies clinging to the horns on his head for dear life, they were used to flying but not like this.
“I- think... I think I’m gonna throw up.” Uraraka groaned as she held a hand over her mouth, her pale form alerting her friends.
“Ura-Uraraka, hold on a little longer!” Izuku encouraged, rubbing her back.
“There it is, take us down Eijirou, we don’t want to be sighted.” Momo ordered as she pointed out a spot.
The dragon let out a gruff sound but listened as descended to the ground, taking shelter by a large boulder.
As soon as they landed, Urakara ran off and threw up behind a bush as the rest tried to look away. The. Blue fairy looked a lot better when she reunited with the group, apologizing while Izuku and Momo asked if she was alright now.
“We’ll sneak in and find Katsuki, you wait here, we’ll need you when we flee the castle.” Momo explained and the red dragon looked like he was about to protest, but the three fairies had already made themselves no bigger than sparrows and had flown off towards the dark fortress.
Then they flew to the gates, hiding behind some stones and just when they thought it was safe walked out, only to see a guard and dart behind a pillar.
Carefully they made their way through the intimidating fortress, looking for clues while avoiding the guards.
The three fairies heard the sounds of merriment and looked over to a green glow from a large window. Their little wings took them to what looked like to be a ballroom, and a party was being held, and overlooking the minions was the man in purple, sitting smugly with his staff in hand.
Overhaul watched from his stone throne as his minions danced around a green bonfire, drinking and letting out cheers of victory. The dark castle that had once been decaying was now kept very pristine under Overhaul’s haul’s rule, everything was perfect. The Princess was under his curse, and he had her Prince in his cellars. Overhaul wasn’t going to let something as simple as ‘true love’ ruin his fun.
“What a pity that Prince Katsuki can’t be here to enjoy the celebration..” Overhaul wore a smirk behind his leather beak mask as he petted the black crow with the back of his gloved hand.
“Perhaps we should go check on our ‘special’ guest.” Overhaul’s gold eyes moved to his crow companion, who nodded and hopped on his shoulder as his master rose up from his throne and walked down the stairs, deep into the cellars.
Momo, Uraraka and Izuku hurried after him, carefully zipping around the dark fortress to avoid being seen as they followed Overhaul, hoping to find the kidnapped Katsuki.
Muffled screams and the clanging of chains were heard before Overhaul even made it down the stairs, the Dragon Prince was very feisty and had yet to give up. Overhaul took a large black key from his pockets and slid into the door lock, the door creaking open and shut behind him.
“Prince Katsuki, you shouldn’t be so upset. A wondrous future lies before you.” Overhaul explained as he stood tall in front of the Prince.
Katsuki lunged forward, but the strong chains kept him shackled to the stone wall, the metal was starting to bruise his skin, but he didn’t care as he wasn’t going down without a fight.
“Hard to believe that ‘you’ are the destined hero of a charming fairy tale come true.” Overhaul mused as he leaned on his staff. Katuski stopped struggled and raised an eyebrow at the statement, curious about what the villain was talking about.
The three fairies peaked into the cell.
Overhaul brought out his staff and waved his hand around the large green orb sitting on top, whispering a spell before holding it close to the Prince.
“Behold, King Nahir’s castle. And in yonder topmost tower, dreaming of her true love, the Princess Aruna.” The globe showed the sleeping beauty, resting with a red rose in her hand, her lustrous dark hair flowing around her, her brown skin basking in the moonlight.
Katsuki’s eyes widened, it was (y/n), HIS (y/n). His Sunshine. He lunged forward, filled with a white-hot rage towards his captor.
“Ah ah. I’m not finished.” Overhaul shook his head at the Dragon Prince’s impatience, not worried for his safety in the slightest. He had won, there was nothing left to do but gloat.
“But see the gracious whim of fate, why, ‘tis the peasant maid who won the heart of our ‘noble’ Prince but yesterday.” The image in the orb got a closer look at the sleeping girl.
“She is indeed, most beautiful, skin blessed by the sun, black of midnight in her curls, lips that shame the red, red rose. In ageless sleep, she finds repose.”
The image disappeared and changed, Katsuki was now seeing the gates of the castle on the Forbidden Mountain being opened.
“The years roll by. But a hundred years to a steadfast heart are but a day. And now, the gates of the dungeon part and our Prince is free to go on his way.”
The orb showed Katsuki as an old man, his body skinny and weak as he uses his sword like a cane to walk through the open gates, his ash blonde hair grey with a long beard. The old man’s body is struggling to even move as he walked along the stone road.
“Off he marches, a valiant figure, straight and tall, to wake his love with love’s first kiss. And prove that true love conquers all!!” Overhaul mocked, a sick cackle sounded behind his beak mask as his gold eyes stared down at the Dragon Prince.
“Why you!” Little Uraraka was ready to fly in, fists flying, but Momo quickly grabbed the fairy by her blue dress and pulled her back into hiding.
Overhaul chuckled as Katsuki only fought harder against his chains, screaming muffled through the metal muzzle they placed on him.
“Come, my pet. Let us leave our noble Prince with these happy thoughts.” Overhaul mocked, his gold eyes gleaming with amusement.
“A most gratifying day.” Overhaul stepped out of the cell, the door closing behind him. His gloved hand reached for the key and gave it a tight turn before sliding it into his chest pocket and walking off.
Once it looked like the hallway was finally clear, Momo peeked out from behind the small crevice they had been hiding in, double-checking that the coast was clear.
The three fairies flew out of hiding and into the cell where Katsuki was fighting against his chains, right as they were about to reveal themselves, the chains broke free from the wall with forces and the Prince tripped forward falling onto his face. The Dragon Prince’s strength was not just a rumour.
The fairies revealed themselves, shifting from their small size to human-sized. Uraraka was still giggling over the Prince’s faceplant, and Momo and Izuku had to shush her.
Katsuki jumped up from the ground and raised his fists, ready to fight the intruders.
“We’re not here to fight, we’re here to help.” Momo explained as she waved her wand and the metal muzzle around Katsuki’s face turned to bubbles.
“Fuck off! I don’t need your help. Wimpy ass fairies.” Katsuki growled as he grabbed his red cloak from the bench and threw it on.
“How are you go-” Before Izuku could finish his question, Katsuki and broken through the cell door.
Momo glared at the stubborn Prince and flew in front of him, spreading her arms out.
“If you care about (y/n), then you’ll listen!” She told him, and at the mention of the girl’s name, Katuski stopped. He glared at the red fairy and grabbed her by the shoulder and threw her to the wall.
“What do you know, tell me now or else I’ll rip those wings right off your back.” Katsuki threatened as his crimson eyes glared down at the fairy.
“THIS is the man that (y/n) fell in love with?” Izuku whispered to Uraraka, who let out a small sigh and shrugged her shoulders.
“Love is strange and unpredictable.” Uraraka proposed, maybe (y/n) saw a secret side to Katsuki they had yet to see. He was certainly determined, and that was admirable.
“Prince Katsuki, the road to true love may be barred by still many more dangers, which you alone with have to face.” Momo warned.
“I am doin’ it alone. Now scram.” Katsuki pushed her away and continued marching down the dark hallway.
“You are not the only one who cares for (y/n). Now at least take this and protect yourself with this enchanted Shield of Virtue.” Momo waved her wand and created a large shield that appeared in Katsuki’s left hand.
“And this mighty Sword of Truth.” Another wave of her wand and a large sword appeared in Katuski’s free hand.
“A broadsword? Fine, doesn’t matter what you give me, I’m gonna kill that beaked bastard.” Katsuki declared, personally, he wanted his regular curved sword, but this would do for now.
Momo let out a cough, and Katuski glared at her.
“What?!”
“For these weapons of righteousness will triumph over evil. Now come, we must hurry to (y/n).” Momo just wanted to finish her speech and get out of here.
“You extra’s are the ones holding me back.” Katsuki scoffed as he stomped forward, his red cloak fluttering behind him.
Just as they turned the corner, they were met with Overhaul’s black crow who cawed at them before flying up the stairwell, his loud alarming caw vibrating off the stone walls.
They hurried up the spiral stairs, and before they knew it, a small army of goons was running towards them.
A cocky smirk made it’s way to Katsuki’s mouth as he rolled his shoulders back and got into a fighting position.
“Time for payback, you ugly assholes.” And Katsuki easily cut down the minions while the fairies just watched in amazement.
“Maybe... he didn’t need our help.” Uraraka wondered out loud as they watched as the Prince happily fought the various enemies.
A loud roar sounded, and they all looked to the large window.
“My ride’s here.” Katsuki smirked as he struck down the last minion and ran to the window, jumped out without a care.
“Prince Katuski!” The fairies cried as they followed only to let out a sigh of relief to see Katski safely on the back of a red dragon, Eijirou had good timing.
“C’mon, before he leaves without us.” Izuku said as the fairies transformed into the size of small birds and flew to the dragon and nestled themselves safely in Katsuki’s cape, unnoticed by him.
“You useless lizard, what took so long?” Katsuki complained as he pulled on of Eijirou’s horns.
The dragon made a guttural groan, and the Prince rolled his eyes.
“Look out!” Urakaka yelled, pointing at the barrage of arrows flying their way Katuski nearly jumped out of his skin, not realizing he had stowaways with him.
Eijirou got ready to blast the arrows away to dust with his flames, but Momo beat him to it, waving her wand and turning the arrows into pink flowers.
“Whatever, let’s get outta here, (y/n) ’s waiting.” Katsuki ordered.
“To King Nadir’s castle!” Izuku shouted, and Katuski nearly swatted him away like an insect, but the fairy avoided him.
“C’mon shitty scales, we gotta get my girl.” Katsuki smirked, but he was antsy, was his Sunshine okay? Would a kiss truly be enough to wake her?
The fairies all looked to one another, before letting out a sigh.
“Why do I feel like the King will be less than pleased with his possible son-in-law.” Momo sighed
“If it lifts the curse, then I doubt he’ll care if Katsuki was a foul mouth.” Uraraka pointed out, though she was looking forward to everyone meeting the brash Prince.
“Though.... it’ll be an interesting meeting for sure...” Izuku thought out loud.
.
.-.-.-.-.-.-
.
Overhaul watched with rage as the red dragon flew off with his hostage, flying towards the currently sleeping kingdom.
He stormed to the tallest tower in his castle, thunder rumbled around him as his golden eyes filled with malice, sending lightning strike after lightning strike to hit Eijirou.
The red dragon was struck and went flying towards the ground. The crash sent dirt flying everywhere, and the red dragon lay in a large ditch from the fall.
The fairies got to work on healing the dragon as Katsuki’s red eye’s watched in concern, demanding that the three work faster.
“We’ll stay here. Go forward, Prince Katsuki!” Momo insisted as she waved her wand around one of the dragon’s more significant wounds.
Katsuki looked at his friend, who just nodded for him to go. The Dragon Prince let out a scoff and ran off, racing towards the marble castle.
Overhaul swung his staff to the sky, ordering out a spell making green and dark clouds appear and swirl before sending it off to the sleeping kingdom.
“A forest of thorns shall be his tomb. Borne through the skies on a fog of doom! No go with a curse and serve me well. Around Nahir’s castle, cast my spell!”
Dark clouds swirled around the beautiful kingdom, lightning striking the ground and the castle. A dense forest of thorns surrounded the castle, sprouting from the ground, causing the earth to shake.
“Dammit!” Katsuki cursed as he got pricked by one of the thorns.
The Prince used his blade to slice through the dark thorns, making good progress he finally came to the stone path that led straight into the castle. He smirked in triumph as he marched forward.
“No! It cannot be!!” Overhaul screamed from his mountain, and in his fit, he used his magic to transport himself across the kingdom.
Overhaul appeared in a burst of green flame, gold eyes glaring at ruby, and Katsuki just got into a fighting position, ready to take out the villain who stood between him and (y/n).
“Now shall you deal with me, O Prince. And all the powers of HELL!” Overhaul declared as he raised his arms and wrapped himself up in the magic and a tower of green flames burst towards the sky, disappearing into dark purple clouds.
Katsuki watch as black form shifted in the flame, growing bigger and bigger.
“You gotta be shittin’ me.” Katsuki gritted through his teeth, clenching his sword tightly, his knuckles turning white.
A large purple and black dragon spread its wings, their eyes glowing gold, green flames flowing from its black jaws.
It felt wrong as the Prince of the Dragon tribe to be fighting a dragon, but Katsuki enjoyed the challenge.
“I’ll wear your teeth around my neck, you bastard.” He yelled as he readied his sword and shield and stormed forward. Overhaul spat green fire at the Prine, who blocked it with the broad shield, the force of the flames made him stop momentarily, but he pushed forward.
The dragon fired green flames at the stone bridge, and it melted underneath Katsuki’s feet, and he jumped back, the villain forcing him back into the forest of thorns.
“You won’t win!” Katsuki screamed as he leapt forward and aimed for the dragon’s heart, but Overhaul swerved his head and tried to bite Katsuki. The Prince swung his sword and hit the hard skull of the dragon.
In frustration, Overhaul doused the entire forest of thorns in his green flames, forcing Katsuki into a corner.
“Dammit.. You ugly bastard..” Katsuki cursed, feeling the lick of the hot flames on his skin. A loud familiar roar sounded out, and the Dragon Prince smirked.
The black dragon looked up and was quickly tackled to the ground by Eijirou, who had dug his sharp jaws deep into the villain.
“It’s about time ya shitty lizard!” Katsuki yelled as he quickly crawled onto Ejirou’s back and ran up his spine to the top of his head.
“I’m taking you out!” Katsuki screamed from the top of Eijirou’s head, and the red dragon roared in agreement. The three fairies flew to Katsuki’s side, and Izuku waved his wand at the sword in the Prince’s hand.
“Now, Sword of Truth, fly swift and sure. That evil die and good endure!” He enchanted the sword, and it glowed white with magic.
Overhaul reared his head and got ready to spew more flames and Katsuki threw the sword right at the chest of the black dragon, piercing the heart.
A scream erupted from the dragon’s black jaws, trying to snap at Katsuki once more time, but Eijirou finished the job, and a stream of red hot flame spewed from the red dragon’s jaws.
Purple smoke erupted from the black dragon until it was nothing but a purple and black cape, Overhaul’s beak mask sitting on top, but the villain was gone.
The skies cleared, and the thorns disappeared, the morning sun shining over the kingdom.
Katsuki looked to the castle where (y/n) waited for him.
“The tallest tower, huh?” Katsuki said as he looked up and patted Eijirou’s head, who understood where he was going with his.
Eijirou spread his broad wings and took off, flying towards the tallest tower where Sleeping Beauty waited.
.
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
.
Mitsuki watched as her friend sat by the sleeping Princess, still not believing that true love would break the curse, but it was their only hope.
They heard the flapping of wings, and then a large force dropped onto the roof of the tower, Queen Sabina raced to her daughter’s side, ready to protect her if needed with the sharp dagger in her hand.
Shouto unsheathed his sword standing in front of his mother as the creaking of the roof continued, and a flash of a red tail whipped past the windows.
“We should leave.” Shouto advised and but was interrupted by Mitstuki’s laugh.
“Nothing to worry about, I know that roar.” Mitsuki proudly declared.
“Fuck, move ya damn lizard.” A furious yell sounded out, and Sabina raised an eyebrow.
“... yep, sounds about right.” Mitsuki sighed, shaking her head over her son’s language, not that her word choices were any better.
A figure dropped down from the roof and onto the balcony of the tower, their red cape lined with white fur hood blocking their face till they raced into the room, only stopping in his steps when they laid their eyes on the sleeping Princess.
Katsuki didn’t even notice the others in the room, just the beauty lying bed, his boots walking to her side, ( y/n) looked dead as she lay in bed, a rose resting in her hands.
“Sunshine...” He spoke to her, cradling her face, she was still warm, her chest gently rising and falling.
“You are?” A woman’s voice asked, and Katsuki nearly jumped when he looked to the other side of the bed, and an older woman with similar features to (y/n) stared at him.
“None of your business, that’s who.” He spat.
“Katsuki! You damn brat! Have some manners!” Mitsuki scolded, and Katsuki’s eyes widened as he looked over to his mother.
“Old hag!! What the hell are you doing here?!” He yelled, pointing at her.
“What am I doing here?! What are you doing here?!” She rebutted, hands on her hips as she glared at her temperamental son.
The three fairies flew in the room, and all three let out a massive sigh at the sight of the Dragon Royalty yelling at each other.
“Your highness, Prince Katsuki defeated Overhaul.” Izuku informed the Queen of the castle.
“Overhaul is dead?” She uttered, shock painting her face.
“Yes your majesty.”
“Then shouldn’t she awaken?” Queen Sabina asked as she looked down at her daughter’s still form.
“Katsuki? Is this the girl?” The Dragon Queen asked, realizing why he was here.
Katsuki looked at the girl lying in bed and went back to her side, his typically angry eyes softening as he caressed her hair.
“It is.”
“Go on, Katuski.” The ruby-eyed Prince didn’t have to be told twice as he sat down on the bed, he leaned down, but he felt everyone’s eyes on him.
“Can’t a guy get some privacy?!!?!” He growled at everyone, and they all jumped.
“Oh! Okay, everyone, let’s um turn around.” Momo instructed, and everyone tentatively listened while Uraraka waved her wand to create a curtain around the bed that the Princess slept in.
The Dragon Prince let out a sigh and took her hands in his, he leaned forward, slowly inching towards her red lips, their noses touched, and he took a pause.
“What... what if.. What if I’m not your true love...” He whispered as he leaned his forehead against hers, the thought hadn’t even entered his mind. Now he was clenching his jaw at the thought of (y/n) lying here asleep till someone else came along and took her away.
“I need you, Sunshine. I’ll dance with you whenever you want. I can take you flying, you’ll look beautiful in the sky. Hell, you look beautiful wherever you are.” He spoke softly, his eyes closing as he imagined their life together.
“Come back to me,” Katsuki whispered the small plea and finally took the plunge, lightly touching his lips to hers. They were softer than he imagined, velvety smooth and melded perfectly with his.
Katsuki leaned back up and opened his eyes, his breath hitched in his throat as he waited.
Long dark lashes started to flutter, and the Princess began to shift slightly. Slowly (y/n) opened her eyes and looked upon her Prince, his ruby eyes brighter than she remembered.
“I dreamed of you...” she sighed, her large eyes fluttering as she was still waking up. Katsuki thought he had never seen anything so breathtaking as she gently smiled up at him.
Katsuki smirked and traced the edge of her jaw with his calloused fingers, caressing her gently.
“Good morning, Sunshine.” He teased as he leaned down and kissed her again, this time with a little more force, and she giggled into the kiss as she leaned upwards a bit, her hand gripping the soft fur of his cloak.
Suddenly Katsuki was pushed to the ground and arms wrapped around the Princess.
“My baby!”
“Oh, um... Hello?” (y/n) said as she rubbed the back of the woman, hugging her as she cried. The woman leaned back and held the young woman’s face in her hands, tears streaming down her face as she smiled at the face of her long lost treasure.
“Mother?” (y/n) tilted her head slightly as her eyes raked over the woman’s features, there was something familiar about her. The Queen nodded her head and brought the Princess in for another hug.
“Nice job Son.” Mitsuki praised as she tried not to cry over the family reunion.
“... thanks...” he uttered, silently forgiving (y/n) ’s mother for pushing him away.
A whine was heard from the balcony, and everyone turned to see a giant red dragon’s snout peeking into the room.
“Oi! I told you to wait outside!” Katsuki yelled, and the dragon looked like he rolled his eyes. Queen Sabina tried to hide her daughter behind her, but she was already trying to scramble out of bed to get a better look, her long blue and gold skirt touching the ground.
In her haste, she tripped, but Katsuki was quick to catch her.
“Careful, your gonna hurt yourself.” Katsuki scolded as he steadied her, and she just blushed and apologized, but then her large eyes looked back at the red dragon with wonder, and the Prince let out a sigh.
“Shitty scales, this is (y/n).” Katsuki introduced her to his long-time friend and dragon.
“Acutally her name is Aruna.” Shouto informed him, relieved that the Princess was okay but slightly bewildered that her true love was this ruffian.
“Shut it half ‘n Half, she’s (y/n) to me.” Katsuki barked at the rival Prince, but he didn’t seem to care.
Before their eyes, the red dragon transformed into a humanoid form, but one could still see glittering red scales on his arms and neck, horns poking from his forehead, and a spiky red tail waved behind him.
“Name’s Eijirou, nice to meet you! Can’t wait for the wedding.” The friendly Eijirou rushed forward and grabbed the Princess by her hands, and she was still in awe over what she had just witnessed, the world was a magical place, and she couldn’t wait to learn more about Katsuki’s world.
“The Wedding?! Rei.. I’m sorry, but I’m afraid we’ll have to break the betrothal.” Queen Sabina spoke softly to her long-time friend and fellow Queen.
“It’s quite alright, who are we to stand in the way of true love. Though Enji will have something to say..” The snow-haired Queen gave a slightly worried look, and Sabina promised that she would deal with the brutish King. Truth be told, Sabina never missed an opportunity to tell off the war-hungry King.
“The party! We need to wake everyone up! It’s time to celebrate” Uraraka grabbed the hands of her fellow fairies, and they flew off to do their job.
“Sweetheart... are you ready?” Queen Sabina squeezed her daughter’s hands, and she smiled nervously.
“... Yes. Can I have a moment?” The Princess requested as she fidgeted with the various gold and blue bangles on her wrist. The Queen nodded and tried to usher everyone out of the room, giving the two a moment.
“.. Will you stay by my side.” (y/n) asked her Prince. Katuki gave her a handsome smirk that made her skin hot and heart beat faster.
“After all this?? I’m not letting you outta my sight.” Katsuki leaned down and rested his forehead against her’s, enjoying the quiet of the intimate moment.
“So cute.” Mitsuki cooed as peaked her head in and winked at the two, causing the new couple to turn the same colour as Katsuki’s red eyes.
“Beat it, Old Hag!” He screamed as he threw the pillow from the bed at her.
“... I’ll let it slide today since it’s a special day. But tomorrow... you’re dead meat boy.” Mitsuki threatened as she pointed at her son, their glares were almost identical and (y/n) stifled a giggle into the fur trim of Katsuki’s cloak.
“Oh and welcome to the family.” She winked at the Princess, who, in turn, smiled back at her before Mitsuki finally descended down the stairs to join the party, ultimately leaving the two alone.
“Now that we finally got rid of those extras.” Katsuki let out a sigh of relief, before wrapping his arms around his sunshine, holding her close to him.
“Katsuki.” (y/n) playfully chided as she shook her head at her Prince’s attitude but nestled her head into his shoulder, she felt Katsuki smirk against her neck before peppering her skin with kisses, making her let out a small gasp.
“Kastuki! We need to go do downstairs!” She giggled as he continued his playful assault, travelling from her neck up to her face.
“I don’t give a shit about a party, I came here for you.” He pointed out before leaning down and capturing her soft lips in a demanding kiss, leaving her breathless with a blissful look on her face.
(y/n)’s handsome prince got down on one knee before her and got out the gold and ruby ring his mother had given him. Her heart began racing wildy as she realized what was happening.
“Will you-”
“Yes!” She tackled him, and the two fell to the ground as she laughed, and he couldn’t help but smile as he wrapped his arms around her, feeling whole and at peace for the first time.
His girl was safe in his arms, his beautiful angel whose smile was brighter than the sun itself. Katsuki could barely wait to hear (y/n) sing to him and dance with her for the rest of his days.
The nightmare was over, and the dream was just beginning.

Thrown into it
Part: 1,2,3,4,5, 6, 7
Part 8: Is this what it’s like bonding with the cast?
The room I was given was slightly smaller than Izuku’s but very much comfortable all the same. Outside of the queen sized bed I was given, the rest of the room was littered with boxes. “Uh, Mrs. Midorya.. What are these?” I question. She pops into my room with a smile. “Oh you father packed up your clothes and shipped them to the school remember?” I glance over the boxes. “Oh.. y-yeah.. That explains a lot then.” Thanks Japanese government? Nezu coming in clutch? Whatever divine force made sure I wasn't walking around nude. After unpacking everything, I got Izuku to help me with the make up work I had. “How the hell do you guys do this..?” I mumble. Izuku chuckles “Well it takes time. I’d be surprised if you got it down on the first try.” He points over to a line of the equation you tried to solve. “Okay, so right there's your problem. You go so fast that you forgot to divide by this. See?” My mouth makes the shape of an “oh”. “Okay, let me try again..” Once I got it done I showed Midoriya. “Yep! That's perfect! You think you can get the next one?” I nodded and kept going. That's how things went for the next two weeks. I’d get up and get ready for the day, work on home work and help Inko around the house until Izuku gets home, learn to understand his homework and get through the packets I had to complete before the deadline. Oh and eating. Taking care of yourself is important.
It took time, plenty of water, and all nighters to boot, but I did it with two days to spare! “Hey Izuku! Can you come and check my homework since I got it all done!” I call from my room. Eventually he gets to the door frame. “Y/n, can you please not shout? We have neighbors after all.” He reminds me. “Oh- yeah sorry! Everything is louder where I’m from.” He smiles kindly. “It’s okay.” He glances over the frame and sees the small stack on your desk. “Uhh.. I think It’s gonna take more than just me to get through that and help you.. Um..” He holds his chin in his hand for a moment before he snaps his fingers. “Hold on!” He bolts out of the hall and into the direction of the kitchen. I cock my head at this new, hyperactive Izuku. “Hey mom, is it okay if I invite some friends over after school?” I get off my bed and look down the hall to see a confident Izuku and a surprised Inko. “Oh um, sure I don't see why not!” Izuku turns to me. “Y/n, we’re gonna have a study party!”
“Wait what?” My shock at the possibility of meeting some of Class 1A was overlooked and before I knew it, it was the next night. And I found myself scrambling around my room to make sure I didn't look like an absolute mess. I ran to the bathroom and checked myself out one more time. I had a plan, white tank top, dark blue jeans, black socks, and a red flannel to make me pop. Izuku rushed in just a few minutes after me. “Pass me the brush?” He asked me to which I obliged. His hands were shaking slightly. “Izuku? You okay man?” He shook his head quickly. “I just realized I invited Ochoko over and my room is a mess and-” I poke his cheek. “HEy! Calm down.” I stare at him through the mirror. “You are Izuku Midoriya. You are a boy. Therefore you have leeway when it comes to looking sloppy.” He sighs, looking up at his hair. I take the brush from his hands and fix his naturally messy hair. “Whoever this girl is, you’re gonna be fine. You know why?” He glances back at me. “Why?” I chuckle. “Because you treat others with respect and you are a naturally nice person. Just treat her like a gentleman if you wanna make a move.” He smiles for a moment before his face flushes red. “W-wait! How-?!” I laugh. “Did I know? Dude it’s so obvious. No guy stresses over a girl like that unless he has a crush!”  I sing before I skip out of the bathroom. “Now put some more deodorant on because you stink!” I hear him freak out in the bathroom as I walk away, making me laugh all the more. “Y/n, can you get the door? I have to finish up!” Inko calls from the kitchen. “Okay.” I respond and head over to the door. My eyes close. I take a deep breath and shakily open it. “Hello!” When I open my eyes I see a group that I wish I could see in real life. “Hello! I am Tenya Iida! Class 1A’s class representative!” Tenya says a little too loud. He’s hearing a white, long sleeved, button up shirt, khaki dress pants and tennis shoes. I cover my mouth to try and suppress my giggles. “No need to be formal!” I try to say normally but it gets intermixed with my giggling. “Don't mind him, he’s a little serious but after a while he loosens up.” Momo pipes up from behind him. She looked like she just got back from a grocery run with the bags she and Ochoko were carrying. “Oh! Come on in!” I glance over at the others. Behind them is Momo, Tokoyami and Tsuyu. “You guys must be part of class 1A am I right?” I say while I hold the door open for them. “Yes indeed. And you’re the transfer that’s staying with Midoriya?” The darkest of the group asks. “Yeah. Y/n, L/n.” I shut the door and give them room to take off their shoes. “Here, let me take those bags.” I offer. Ochoko glares at me, making me step back. “Or- never mind!” Once everyone had their shoes off, we made our way to the dining room. While the group files in they all note aspects of Midoriya's home. “Oh hello! You must be Izuku’s friends!” Inko says from behind the counter. “I’m making some curry if you all get hungry!” An ocean of thanks follows her announcement.
“Oh hey guys!” Midoriya calls from the doorway. “We’re gonna be setting up in Y/n’s room so follow me!” Midoriya leads the group to my room however I stay planted in my spot. This is happening. This is actually happening. I’m gonna be fucking schooled by people who can step on me anytime. I need my therapist. “Y/n? Hunny?” I feel Inko’s hand on my shoulder. “I-I-I-” She turns me around. “Hey, are you okay sweetie?” I swallow my nerves. “No. But, I can do this.” I convince myself. “I-.. can I have some iced water Mrs. Midoriya?” She nods and gets me a glass. When she gets back I drink all the water in it, leaving only partially melted ice cubes. “Y/n.” I look up at her. “You’re going to be fine.” I chuckle dryly but nod all the same. “Thank you ma’am.”
Without another word I head to my room. With each step I hear them discussing that day’s class. “Did you see Kaminari blow a fuse?” Momo jokes, making the others laugh. “That's what made the lights flicker? I thought it was Bakugou flying around the room again.” Tsuyu inputted. When I get to the door I hear Tenya groan. “No. Bakugou was with me. We were testing each other’s hand to hand combat.” I smile at that. That fight must’ve been something. “Hello?” I make a noise and jump in my spot. I swiftly turn to see Tokoyami with a juice box in his hand. “Shit man..” I exhale. “Give me a heart attack already..” I sigh with a loose smile. “My apologies, you were-” “Blocking the way yeah.. Sorry.” I go to scratch my neck and move out of the way. “After you,” I motion nervously. He softens his gaze on me. “What are you nervous about?” I roll up the sleeves of my flannel. “Well.. you guys?” He narrows a brow at me. “I know I shouldn't be! You guys are people too! But.. where I’m from.. You guys are famous.”
“We’re famous!” I hear a higher voice announce. Suddenly Dark Shadow appears for the world to see. I smile at their absurdity. “Well hello to you too!” Tokoyami flusteredly scolds the entity. “Now is not the time!” Dark shadow whines. “But they're so nice!” I hold a hand out for them. “Y/n L/n, you are?” They gasp and shake my hand. “Dark Shadow! The better half!” I try to hold in my laughter at that. “You’re gonna have to prove it to me then.” Tokoyami grumbles. “Please don't make this worse Dark Shadow..” Oh Fumikage I am so sorry. “I’m just kidding. I assure you.” I shake Dark Shadow’s hand. “But it truly is a pleasure.” I look over at Tokoyami. Never did I actually think that I would see a bird blush in my lifetime. “To both of you.” I instate. Good timing too because Tsu opens the door to us. “Oh there you two are! Kero.” I hear Izuku mumble. “Oh and Dark Shadow too.”
“Are you two going to stay out there or what?” Ochoko teases. I hold back a snark for glaring at me earlier and instead play along. “Yeah, yeah, yeah..” Inside everyone made a circle with my packets in the middle. Tenya and Momo were already going through them. “From what I see you're naturally fluent in English which isn’t surprising. Your math checks out too besides from some smaller mistakes.” Momo nods along. “Your Japanese is very good too, linguistically speaking. But your handwriting is a little sloppy.” I take a seat in between Ochako and Tsuyu. “Want some?” She lifts up a small bottle of what I assume to be orange juice. “Please?” She nods and gives it to me. “Y/n, what’s your family like?” Izuku suddenly asks.
Now that's one way to derail a conversation. “Oh. Uh- why do you want to know?” I glance over at the others to see Tenya glancing at me over my packet but ultimately goes back to what he was doing. “Oh just curious. You don't really talk about your home life that much.” I try to sooth my nerves with a thoughtful hum. Okay Y/n, basic self insert backstory. Go. “Well.. um.. What is there to say?” I scratch the back of my neck and look down at the floor. “To get it out of the way, mom is dead.” I feel everyone’s eyes go on me. “Died in childbirth. Same with my baby brother. Dad owns a bar. Knows a lot of heroes through it and high school friends that ended up as pros so we were lucky. I got in- somehow! I honestly don't know why. I’m not that special really.” I keep my head down and mess with my flannel. “I mean I have a quirk with potential but I’m a late bloomer. I literally got them like days ago!”
“What?” Fuck too much! ABORT! ABORT! “Them?” Momo questioned. “Days before you came here?” Tenya presses. I look at them to see Tenya’s glasses glossing over his eyes and Momo is the literal embodiment of the equation meme. “Y-Yeah..” I gulp. Momo opens her mouth but I cut her off. “I don't know how! The doctors said that I didn’t  have the physical traits for it. But I can do things.” Tsuyu leans closer. “What kind of things? Ribbit.” I shrug and look down at my hands. “It's kind of hard to explain.. I know the reason I can understand you guys is because of one of my quirks. I can understand any language at a glance but It gives me a momentary, splitting headache for me to process it.” Momo oooed at that. “That’s very useful.” She commended. I smiled a little. “Thanks. That’s as far as I understand though.  As for the other one.. the other one is something I don't fully understand yet.”
From the corner of my eye I see Izuku leave the room making me call after him “Izuku where are you going?” I could hear the stutter in his explanation. “I-I gotta get my notebook-! Hold on!” From besides me, Ochoko chuckles with a light blush. I lightly elbow her. “Hurry up then, ‘cus I won't repeat my quirk for you.” I call, making him run faster. “What was that for?” She asks before taking a bite of some kind of cookie. “Quiet the crush you have huh?” I mumble along with her. Her cheeks grow a shade of red. I only giggle as she completely stops chewing.  “Don't worry. I’m not into him. He’s all yours girl.” I assure her. She does a double take, gaining Tsuyu’s and Momo’s attention. “Wait so you..?” I laugh. “Oh no man. As handsome as Izuku is, I wouldn’t try. I don't like him like that. And even if I did, I don't know if he has a girlfriend or if anyone has a crush on him. It’s against girl code.” Tenya set down my packet and cocked his head. “Girl code?” Tokoyami spoke up. “As curious as I am to hear about this feminine endeavor, I don't think it wise to ask my steadfast friend.” Tenya starts to open his mouth but I see Izuku come in. “Hey Midoriya! Nice to see ya! WHo wants to know about my quirk!” I shout and everyone seems to agree. Thank fucking god too. “Okay so.. I don't know how to describe it. I look around my room for a moment until my gaze reaches Momo’s hand. “Okay M- Yaoyorozu, keep an eye on that pencil okay?” She slowly nods. I close my eyes and focus on the pencil in her hand. A breath I didn't know I was holding leaves my lips after I hold my hand out. A gasp comes from one of the girls And I feel something in my hand. I opened my eyes to see the new pencil she was holding. “Holy crap that worked!” I exclaim with a smile. I look around for their reactions. I wasn't surprised to see Izuku scribbling down notes faster than the speed of light, nor for Ochoko, Tokoyami and Tsuyu’s shared curiosity over my power. But what I didn't expect was Tenya and Momo mumbling about my display amongst themselves.
“H-hey! Iida, Momo, do you think Y/n is good when it comes to her work?” Tenya looks up from his and Momo’s discussion. “Oh um.. other than Math? Sure. They’re fine. What of it?” Izuku sits down next to me and nudges me. “How about we test out Y/n’s powers?”

The Scarlett Hero
Chapter 2: I think i'm going to kill People
Masterlist
Tumblr media
Disclamer: This was originally written for an OC but for tumblr I made it x reader
Aizawa had us do some tests threatening that if one of yall got the lowest score that we would be expelled. You weren't scared, You took this time to observe how powerful these kids' quirks are maybe, you'll have competition.
Most of them need a lot of training. You'd be surprised if some of them are in the top 10 heroes after they graduate. Their quirks would be better off if they have partners. There were only 3 people's quirks that interested you that  you think might observe more. The boy from earlier  his name was Izuku. He looked quite weak. He was  in the bottom of the class currently, his quirk released a lot of power but his bones kept breaking. If he got more training his  problem would be fixed. Bakugou Katsuki the name caught your attention to begin with remembering earlier that girl who yelled at him but also the name Bakugou reminded you of the designers, his quirk in itself if top 10 hero material and he already had control of it, if only he would keep his mouth shut. He's so cocky, and you knew cocky. That's how people described you. Then that girl, her name was Yukimori Kiyoko, she's basically a dragon that would explain the scales on her face.
“Hey Sho.” You elbowed him while he was looking at the girl in the sky who grew dragon like feet jumping into the air.
“What.” His eyes pulled away looking down at you, you always hated being shorter than him. He used your head as an arm stan being  Y/h  had been your only downfall.
“I think you've met your match.” He looked at you confused. You looked over at the girl who had finally landed causing the ground to shake going over to Bakugou.
“I mean, look at her face Baka she has scales where your scar is. Awe yall were made for each other.” He used his left side to burn your arm slightly. You let out a  laugh a little too loud pulling everyone's attention. The girl with the dragon quirk as she called it, made eye contact with you and walking over slowly, The blonde had tried holding her back she overpowered him
“Do you have a problem with me psychic witch?!” She began storming over so you  decided to meet her half way. Her nickname oh so original you've heard worse from t.v shows.
“No I don’t think I do, do you have a problem lizard bitch?” You looked her up and down her stans showed that she was ready for a fight.
“What was so funny huh? Do you want a fight or something? Cause I will fight you.” She growled. Oh she probably saw me laugh when you were talking to Shoto.
“I was laughing with a friend? Is that a bad thing?” You knew you weren't  coming off the best right now but you hated people assuming shit about you.
“Yoko-san stop!” He held her trying to get her not to lunge at you
“Awe Yoko is cute, can I call you Yoko-chan?” You laughed , it's a cute name. She bared her teeth ready to lunge at you. You wouldn't mind a fight, maybe test out how powerful this girl really is.  You lunged at her but Shoto held you back. You looked back at him, smirking then walking  out of his grip.
Her speed took you by surprise slamming you against the wall. It took you by surprise you got a couple hits before being hit (Enji aint raise no biss) but still overwhelmed.   Her hand tuned into a claw shoving you to the ground, before even getting to use my quirk she lifted you off the ground.
“Wanna see a magic trick.” What the hell is this bitch going on about? Before you realized you were lifted off the ground looking up at her she sprouted wings. You couldn't get out of her grip it was tight enough but we were too far off the ground. She brought her face closer to yours.
“Oops.”  Your body began falling and the anger you felt over took you sending red hue above the courtyard sending a strong gust of wind to those below. Your body began to hover  above the ground meeting face to face with the lizard girl.
“Oh gosh there in for it.” You heard Shoto say below to someone.
“Yoko was it, that's what your little friend called you.” Your telekinesis dragged her closer to you. You didn't give her the time to try to get out of your grip, before sending her into the same wall she put you into. You were seething but happy at the same time. You liked that now you might have competition at this school but that won't stop you from using your power when warented.
“If you two don’t quit fighting I will put you both in detention.” You saw Aizawa had woken up from his nap.
You looked down at the crowd rolling your eyes letting her out of your grip. You couldn't risk being embarrassed for getting detention for going too far on your first day, you wouldn't hear the end of it from uncle and your parents.
You floated down, back facing the lizard freak, face facing Shoto, he had seemed to be talking to her friends and when the fight was over walked over to you.
“Maybe you're the one who’s met their match.” Shoto said laughing at you. You punched his arm in a sore spot where he accidentally burned himself when he was younger making him wense.
“Okay so there are two plans. Either we become friends and you’re on my side or we’re rivals and I watch my back and I don't like having to watch my back.” He nodded. Turning around making your way towards her.
“Not bad. You're really strong. You're the only other person other than Shoto that I have fought against that’s given me a run for my money.” You smirked but she didn't seem amused. Probably upset we didn't finish.
“Okay listen...Yoko was it?” You knew her name,  just liked pushing buttons.
“It’s Kiyoko….” She's so cold it must be that blood of hers.
“Okay Kiyoko ,love the positive attitude”  rolling your eyes you're actually trying here.
“Like I told my friend here, I have either two options here, either we become rivals and just have to watch our back for the other, or we become friends. What do you say?”  extending your hand out, she looked down at it, not like she didn't know what to do. She turned around looking at the blonde who was behind her. Does she seriously not know what to do? Looking  at the guy behind her he mouthed something to her. She turned back around sighing taking it
“Fine lets be friends. It might work out better this way”
When time came and scores were pinned you were placed second under Shoto. We just nodded  expecting the results even under the circumstances of earlier.
When we started walking over to the classroom Blonde Bakugou  walked over to you casually with Yoko waiting for him ahead.
“When we train you and me train together.” He more demanded than ask. He began walking away before you even spoke.
“Are you asking me or telling me.” He stopped mid step.
“I'm telling you dumbass!” You liked his attitude a little pushy though but from what you remember he was yelling something about how he was going to be number one. Even if he's powerful he could possibly surpass Shoto or me with more training, he's determined.
“We’ll see blonde.” You walked off with Shoto leaving him dumb founded. I suppose no one has ever told him that.

Sugar Daddy!Bakugou x Reader Ch. 2
All right you heathens, it’s here! I want you all to know that pretty much all of this gets written in my free time at my internship lol. I was asked to tag someone in future updates, so if you want to be tagged in the future just lemme know!
The outfits mentioned in the fic appear in this order: 1 2 3
Words: 5.8k
_-_-_-_-_
Bakugou stares at his laptop screen, a deep frown pulling at the corners of his mouth. It had been a week since his friends had suggested being a sugar daddy. Sero and Kaminari had been making jokes at his expense any chance they got. Between missions and patrols, texting him horribly lewd memes. The last time it had happened, Kaminari had been two floors below Bakugou. He was awfully surprised when the ash blond barged in on him training, strolled straight over to Kaminari’s gym bag, grabbed his phone and looked him dead in the eyes as he blew it apart. Mouth agape, Kaminari was speechless as he watched Bakugou saunter out smugly. Kirishima had the decency to only bring it up when they were hanging out outside of work, and was serious about it. Sometimes he threw a joke around, but he chose his words wisely. Bakugou grumbles as he drags his hands down his face. He’d be lying if he said he hadn’t been curious about what it would be like to be a sugar daddy. He scoured forums and read accounts from daddies and babies alike, as well as suggestions. The more he considered it, the more he was into the idea. The only problem now was that Bakugou had no clue what to do about his profile. He’d compared different websites used for arrangements, and once he chose one, he went to sign up but…he was unsure. Grey catches his eye, Bakugou turning his head to find dark orange eyes staring back at him. He sighs through his nose and scoots his computer further down his lap. The cat’s eyes light up and he leaps up, settling against Bakugou’s chest. The hero brings his right hand up to scratch between his ears. “Katsuuuuki!” A shrill voice rings out, followed immediately by the slamming of his door. Bakugou groans loudly. Footsteps echo through his apartment before pink fills the doorway to his bedroom. Mina leans against the door frame, hands on either side, reminding Bakugou of a pin-up girl. “How’s my favorite blasty boy?” she asks, grin full of pearly teeth. “Who the fuck gave you a key?” Mina laughs and strolls towards the bed, reaching out to pet his cat. “Senshi, actually.”
The cat purrs loudly in response. That stupid cat adored Mina, always preferring her over any company if she was present. He wouldn’t put it past the ashy feline if the damn thing wasn’t such an idiot most of the time. Mina looks over to the laptop on Bakugou’s knees and gasps loudly. “Is that a sugar daddy site!?” she shrieks. Bakugou sputters and reaches to slam the screen closed but Mina is already snatching it up and jumping over him to land on the bed with a subdued bounce. Senshi leaps off of Bakugou, the Chartreux settling into Mina’s side, purring not unlike that of a boat. Bakugou scoffs at the traitor. “Give that back, freak!” He reaches for his computer but Mina slaps his hand harshly. “I would if this were a joke and it wasn’t you.” The pinkette fixes Bakugou with a sly look. “So, have you made an account, yet?” Bakugou narrows his eyes. “…no.” Mina squeals. “Good! I can help you, then!” “No way!” Bakugou tries once again to take his laptop and is, yet again, smacked away. “Oh, come on,” she whines. “There’s no way you could make a profile that doesn’t come off as scary or too vague.” “Shut up, just give it back.” “No!” Mina brings her legs under her in a crisscross and turns her back to the blond. Senshi yowls in complaint. “I won’t question your decisions, because let’s face it Katsu, you’re hot as fuck and you’re letting it go to waste! I just want you to be successful in your sugar daddy endeavors.” Bakugou had pressed himself against her back, reaching around to grab the laptop, but stops his struggle as Mina finishes talking. He frowns, staring at the Log In or Sign Up page, mulling over her words. Prideful as he is, Bakugou has to admit she’s not wrong. He’s not the most charming person, and he’s not the best at talking about himself in a way that isn’t pure bravado or defensiveness. Mina, on the other hand, is stupidly charismatic and knows her friends to a terrifying degree. Bakugou growls. “Fine, you can help me, but nothing gets posted unless I say so.” Mina whoops and gets to work signing him up. “Hot stuff?” Bakugou asks incredulously. “I’m not going to make you Lord Explosion.” She quips without taking her eyes away from the screen. He just huffs and settles his chin against her shoulder. “I’m guessing you don’t want others to know you’re a pro hero, right?” Mina feels him nod. “Hmm…” Bakugou glances at her, whose brows are drawn in a determined fashion, lips pursed. After a moment she grins and begins typing away, Bakugou barely able to keep up with her wild key strokes. “Hey, don’t make me sound too cocky.” he snaps. Mina rolls her eyes and deletes a few words before rewriting it. “How’s that, then?” Bakugou gives a scrutinizing look, but Mina knows it’s only for show. When he finally nods, Mina tosses the laptop to the side, earning a surprised sound from the man behind her. “Now we need a picture,” she pulls out her phone. “Normally, I’d say only a partial face pic, but it might be easier to recognize you as a hero that way. Plus, you’ve got a killer profile and it’d be a disservice to every prospective baby to hide it.” Bakugou wants to protest, but Mina’s flattery gets her surprisingly far with him at times. This is one of them, so he just puffs out a tired sigh and gestures for her to continue. “To the balcony!”
It’s well past dark when Bakugou finally manages to usher his friend out. Living in the same building as her proved to be a test of his patience on many occasions. Since he got her out, he’s been busying himself with browsing through profiles of women in his area. He’s not sure how to approach anyone on here and suddenly wishes he hadn’t kicked Mina out. Some babies play up the innocence, reminding him of actual adolescent girls, so Bakugou avidly avoids those profiles. Some express their sex appeal loudly, which is definitely not what he’s looking for. He’s getting ready to throw the damn laptop when a familiar face catches his eye. Bakugou clicks on ‘AngelEnergi’ and blanches at the picture. [h/c] ringlets cascading delicately over [s/c] shoulders and exposed collarbone, framing [e/c] eyes and pouty lips. A beautiful sigh, but all Bakugou can see is the mocking face of the woman who took his job into her hands. Bakugou can’t believe his luck, jaw clenching at the embarrassing memory. Her face had been haunting him all week, anger at her actions flaring up at full force and— And what? What could he do? Bakugou isn’t the kind of person to turn her in for unlawful quirk use when she still saved someone. He wasn’t going to message her just to bitch her out, either. In all honesty, he’d been intrigued by her. Loathe as he was to admit it, whatever drove her to act as if a pro hero, while irritating, was still attractive. Not everyone is made to be a hero, but she stepped up, despite the risk she faced. It’s an admirable trait. Bakugou takes a breath to level himself. He scrolls down and looks at her full profile. ‘You can call me Angel, though I may not always be one ;) I’m 23 and work all day in a lab, so from time to time I’d like a little luxury on the side. I’m great conversation and don’t mind being pure arm candy. I’m sweet enough~ My arrangements are preferred to be nonsexual. If you’d like to work something out, just give me a time and place for dinner – has to be somewhere public! – and I will let you know if I’m interested. My available times are below.’ Bakugou glances over the times before opening up her photo album. Beside her profile picture, there’s one of her in a blue, form-fitting evening gown, and another of her in a lingerie set from only the neck down. Bakugou flushes at the last one, quickly clicking out of it. Sure, she’d put the picture up willingly, but he wasn’t one to ogle unless they were face to face. That thought sends the hero into a full force blush that extends down his neck and across the tip of his ears. Senshi pads across the couch and nestles himself against Bakugou’s thigh. Said man scratches the cat’s head with a long sigh. “What do you think?” He glances down at his furry companion, who gives a full-body purr. Bakugou snorts. “Of course you do.”
……………………………………………………………………………………………
You open the bathroom door, steam pouring out into her living room. You step out, towel around your chest and are wrapping another around your hair to set atop your head. You smile at the dog lying on his back in the armchair, snoring loudly. You start to head for your room when your phone dings. Curious, you cross to the coffee table and wake up your phone. The screen lights up with two notifications. You swipe away the game alert, but your thumb hovers over the alert from the dating site. ‘HotStuffZero has sent you a message.’ You raise your eyebrows. It’s been a bit since anyone has messaged you, so you’re somewhat surprised by the late-night contact. You tap the notification and unlock your phone. The message just says, “Friday @ 6” and a link. When you check it, you see it’s an upscale restaurant only a twenty minute train ride from where you live. You tap on the profile and can’t help the way you smile at the handsome face before you. His profile picture is of the man’s side profile, looking out at a presumed skyline, if the cityscape backdrop is anything to go by. His pale blond hair is wild, but his face is stern, all angles. You can’t help but admire the cut of his jaw for a moment. It’s the only picture on his profile so you move on to his bio. ’24, Taurus, feisty. Looking for someone to spoil with gifts and take to events. If you’re seeking out fancy dinner dates, extravagant galas, and no-limit shopping sprees, then let me know. No expectations.’ He’s young, you think. You had yet to meet a sugar daddy on here younger than mid-thirties. It was a pleasant surprise, though the last bit confused you. No expectations? Of me or of him? Either way, you could handle whatever came your way. You returned to your messages and shot off a quick “See you there” before locking your phone and throwing it atop the coffee table. This should be fun.
……………………………………………………………………………………………
Bakugou really wasn’t a fan of upscale restaurants like this. Sure, he could afford it, had more than enough money to enjoy bougie spots and high-end meals, but he surely didn’t have the patience for the pompous pricks sat around him. They’d pay him no mind until he opened his mouth, then suddenly everyone within earshot was aghast, but would listen intently as if filling up their gossip arsenal. An ideal date for him would be set at home where he could cook a meal far better than some high-strung chef. Yet, all that he hates about these upscale places are exactly why he’s here, right? To show that he could afford something to ostentatious, that he was more than capable of spoiling his potential baby with absolute ease. Bakugou frowns, realizing he still doesn’t know her name. He can ask once she shows up, but he hates not knowing more about her beforehand. He likes having eh ball in his court, with every advantage he can manage. He made it here half an hour before their set time, with a seat near the back of the restaurant to give him a perfect view of the door and most of the establishment. He already has a wine picked out, waiting until she gets here to order it. Hell, he even knows that they’ve met before, while as far as she is aware he’s nothing but a stranger. Checking his phone, he sighs. Still fifteen minutes before they’d agreed to meet. Maybe he shouldn’t have been so early. His nerves are high, leg bouncing so badly the table has started a light tremor. It’s just a date, not even with a potential partner, but someone who doesn’t even have to like him, so long as the money is good. Bakugou’s stomach goes sour with that thought.
You shuffle up to the restaurant, anxiety nestled between ribs. The exterior is extravagant, taupe sponged brick and burgundy awnings sprouting forth above arched, stained windows. The doors are a dark oak with bronze in-lays that swirl along the edges. One heavy door is propped open, giving way to an even fancier entrance, the host dressed in a deep red dress, looking all the part of someone who belonged here. So much as you craved a luxurious lifestyle, it was still a foreign concept to you. You hadn’t even made it inside but you already felt like you stood out. You were happy to lounge at home in sweats and a tank top, though pants were optional if you had nothing to do that day. You walk in and take deep breaths through your nose and you approach the host stand. The woman glances up and gives a wide smile. “How may I help you, ma’am?” her tone is sugary, and you’re certain she’s actually genuine, your nerves settling somewhat. “Um, I’m meeting someone.” “Name?” the woman asks, opening up the black leather book on the stand. You bark out a laugh, shifting your weight between feet, and clear your throat. “Actually, I don’t know his name.” The host glances up at you, raising a brow. You bite your lip for a second. You almost make an excuse before wondering why the fuck you care what some host you’ll only meet once draws conclusions about from your dilemma. “He’s blond, spiky hair, very handsome,” you trail off, unsure the hostess would have any cue who you were talking about. “Ah,” the woman leans to the side, glancing around the slatted wall behind her to look across the dining room. She points to the back. “He should be right back there.” You smile and thank the hostess before making your way between tables. You spot him, drinking from a glass of water. He’s wearing a maroon button down, with the sleeves rolled up to his elbow and the top two buttons open. The table cloth hides the rest of him but you’re sure he’s sporting nice shoes; he seems the type. He sets down his glass and suddenly vermilion stares back at you. Heat washes over you in a wave, a shy smile pulling at your lips. When you make it to the table he goes to stand, but you hold up a hand to stop him. “It’s fine.” You pull out the chair and sit, taking a deep breath. “I realized I probably should have asked your name.” you laugh. The man across from you curses under his breath. “Bakugou.” You smile “[L/N].” Bakugou clears his throat. “Uh, you look nice.” You were wearing a silver gown, off the shoulder, a quartz studded belt encircling your waist, the rest of the dress cascading in squared off bunches. Bakugou had caught a glimpse of strappy shoes and a toned thigh peeking through the slit in your dress. He was definitely not prepared to be left breathless by this woman. When they met, you were casual and he wanted nothing more than to tear you a new one. Now, you’re elegant and your smile is mesmerizing. Bakugou doesn’t know what to do about it. “So, um,” your voice brings him back. You had one hand on your glass, fingers tracing the condensation. You look nervous, so different from the defiant fire to your eyes from the previous week, and Bakugou is torn between hating it and loving that it’s probably because of him. “I’m not the kind of baby that asks for money up front, just so you know. I don’t want an allowance or anything like that.” “Right to business, huh?” Bakugou leans forward on his elbows, hands clasped in front of his mouth. You shift in your seat at the intensity of his gaze. You laugh curtly. “Yeah, I just like to get all of that out of the way so it’s less awkward when we get to know each other. I hate having it nag at me the whole time.” You take a sip of your water and glance around the restaurant. You don’t understand why you feel so nervous. Maybe because he’s the youngest sugar daddy you’ve met. Maybe it’s the heavy weight of those piercing eyes. Maybe it’s how unbelievably hot he is. Or is it D, all of the above? You think “So, what are you wanting, then?” You blink at him. “Oh, well. I guess I’m just looking to be pampered.” “Why—” “Good evening,” Both of you look at the server. Bakugou curls his lip, irked by the interruption. You greet him kindly before they are asked what they want. Bakugou orders the bottle of wine he’s been waiting for and turns to his date. “Know what you want?” he asks. You blush and quickly snatch the menu up. “No, I’m sorry.” He’s somewhat satisfied by your flustered state. “No worries. I shall return in a moment with your drinks.” The server leaves as quickly as he appeared. You chuckle nervously. “I should’ve checked first, sorry.” “Stop apologizing.” He snaps. He hadn’t meant for it to come out, but it’s become a reflex at this point after years spent shaking Kirishima out of his self-deprecating mindset. You look surprised for a moment, until a sly smile quirks the corner of your mouth. You are suddenly made aware that your date may be less reserved than you originally thought. “You were saying?” you prompt. Bakugou furrows his brows a moment before remembering what you’re referring to. “I was gonna ask why you don’t just date someone instead.” You purse your lips. He’s definitely bold, not holding his tongue for the sake of being polite. You appreciate it. “Well, I spend a lot of time at work and don’t really want to invest myself in looking for someone and settling down. I can’t risk being held back for a partner, no matter how much my mother hounds me for it.” Bakugou can’t help the smirk that makes its way to his expression. He’s quite similar in his reservations. “What about you?” she asks, eyes trained on the menu as she searches for something that sounds good. “I don’t have time to fuck around when I’m working to be the best.” He notices her quick glance up at the curse word, but she otherwise seems unbothered. “Interesting,” she murmurs, loud enough for him to hear. You are smirking, still reading the menu, not giving any explanation for what you mean. The server steps up to the table, wine bottle in hand. He pours you each a glass and sets the bottle on the table, taking your orders and scurrying off again. You drink from your glass while staring at Bakugou. He quirks a brow at you, one hand fiddling with his silverware while the other lays, palm flat to the table. “What?” You set your glass down but keep fingers wrapped around the stem, stare unwavering. “Have…you seem familiar.” Bakugou grins in an almost feral way. Your eyes narrow. You know that smile from somewhere, teeth bared in a subtly dangerous way. Wild hair and piercing red eyes… You open your mouth to speak, but Bakugou beats you to it. “I feel like I should be offended,” he leans in, smirk widening, and you tense. “After showing me up, playing hero,” At that your [e/c] eyes go wide. “you’d think you’d remember me.” You bush your chair back. “I’m sorry, I just– listen, I—” you start to stand, panic overtaking you, until fingers wrap tightly around your wrist. You heart stops for a second, meeting his stern glare. “Hold the fuck on. I’m not here to get you in trouble, idiot.” Bakugou wants to smack himself. He’s not trying to scare you off but he’d doing a damn good job of it. You hesitate. Slowly, you sit back in your seat, arm still held in a vice grip. “You’re…not? Even though I used my quirk in public like that?” He sighs and lets go of her wrist, leaning back in his chair. “No,” he takes a large drink of his wine before continuing. “When I realized it was you I was tempted, but…” Bakugou purses his lips, unsure of how to continue. “I don’t know. I wanted to see what kind of person pulls that kind of shit. I guess.” You eye him. He seems almost skittish, shoulders tensed up and holy shit you can see the muscles rippling under the button up. “I…so you’re Ground Zero?” her voice is barely above a whisper and Bakugou is thankful for the discretion. He nods. You nod in return, thinking. “I couldn’t help it. I just reacted, I guess.” Bakugou leans forward, prompting you to continue. “I always wanted to be a hero. My quirk is perfect for it, too.” You give a strained smile. “Energy manipulation and absorption. My hair acts as a conductor for me to draw in energy. Electric, kinetic, even drawing it from people if we touch skin-to-skin.” You wiggle your fingers around for emphasis. “I can take it and put that energy into my movements. As long as I move around I can channel it. Put extra power behind punches and jumps. Problem is, overuse leads to nosebleeds, migraines, and most importantly seizures.” You let out a heavy sigh through your nose, scooting your chair closer to the table and leaning forward. You keep your eyes off of Bakugou’s face, not keen on seeing how he reacts. “I had a pretty bad seizure when I was 14 and the doctor said if I pushed it I would be more prone to having them with future quirk use. So, being a hero was no longer an option. I mean, who wants a pro to go down in a fight due to a seizure? Too much risk.” Your voice trails off and you bite your lip. You glance up at Bakugou. His brow is pinched, a hard frown in place. “I didn’t mean to make it awkward—" “Shut up.” Your jaw clacks shut, eyes wide. Bakugou turns his head away with a huff. “It’s fine.” He flicks his eyes to match yours, one hand clenching and unclenching on the table. Bakugou wasn’t expecting that response. He’s only spoken with you for less than twenty minutes but he’s starting to understand that the woman seated across from him will not be anything he expects. It excites him. “What do you do instead?” he asks to change the subject. You light up almost immediately, smile spreading and bunching up your cheeks. Cute, he thinks. “I work in a lab! I’m the supervisor for my lab, actually. It’s a University funded lab, and my team works on experiments and studies related to physics with a little bit of kinesiology thrown in. Since my quirk has a lot to do with kinetic energy, I love conducting studies around it. We share somewhat with a team of chemists, but we generally get along.” Bakugou listens intently as you gush about your work and the seemingly crazy group you work with. Your food arrives and the two fall into a relative quiet as you eat. Bakugou is surprisingly comfortable with the lull in conversation. He’s used to Kirishima, who talks while stuffing his face, which usually turns into a lecture from the ash blond. On to pof that, his ex would get so caught up in talking that she’d let her food get cold. Bakugou finishes off his wine to drown the memory. You are mostly done with your meal when you prop your head in one hand and watch Bakugou. When his gaze lifts to yours, you smile softly. “What made you want to be a hero?” you ask with genuine curiosity behind bright [e/c]. Bakugou could give you an honest answer. He could tell you how he grew up being a big fan of All Might, became inspired by the number one hero to work hard and be even greater. If he were honest, he’d tell you that he still looks up to the former hero and has a faint desire to prove himself to his old teacher. But honesty is vulnerability, and Bakugou may as well have censored the entire concept of vulnerability from his mind entirely. Instead, he gives you a cocky smile and says, “With a quirk like mine, I knew I had to be the best.” You arch a brow, lips pressing together in a thin line. You hum noncommittally and Bakugou can tell you think his answer is bullshit. So used to his friends, he expects to be called out without mercy. For the third time that night you completely throw him for a loop. “Well, you’ve certainly made your way up there. Probably one of the best pros climbing the charts right now.” You know that he knows it’s purely said to sate him, but you bit back a smile when he visibly puffs up, a haughty demeanor taking root that’s near impossible to miss. “I’m not sure I ever imagined that the great Ground Zero would ever seek a sugar baby, much less of me.” You are pouring yourself another glass of wine as you say this. You lift the glass to your lips and lift your eyes to meet his. You’re startled by the sharp gaze that greets you. “If this is gonna happen then there’s gonna be rules,” he starts, tone eerily even. “First rule: don’t fucking sell yourself short. I’m the best and only accept the best, so quit shitting on yourself. I don’t wanna hear that self-deprecating bullshit.” All you can do is nod, throat tight. “Second,” Bakugou lounges back in his chair, not unlike a King who knows the power he holds over his court. You grip your glass tight, eye wide and attentive. He feels something warm swell in his chest at your undivided attention, warmth spindling up behind his sternum and into the dip where his throat meets collarbone. “I don’t want anyone to know I’m a sugar daddy. I don’t care what people think of me, but my PR agent would have my head if rumors like that went around. In public, we’re together, but no one needs details.” “You’re a private person, I take it?” your voice is quiet as you sip at the wine. “If I want someone to know my business, they will. My fans and the press don’t need to know shit about me outside of when I’m kickin’ ass.” He punctuates the sentiment with a deep scowl. You nod, smiling softly. “I agree. I’m not the kind of person to share my life with the world, only what I want them to see of me.” Bakugou grunts. “There’s gonna be events I take you to, public shit with press and all those fucking vultures. They’ll probably ask you about ‘us’ but you don’t gotta answer anything.” He narrows his eyes. “And if you do, watch what you say.” You chuckle. “You don’t need to worry.” Your smile widens, teeth on display and a playful glint in your eyes. “Do I get to call you any pet names?” “Not if you want to keep your tongue.” At that, you bust out in laughter. Patrons seated around you shoot glares your way, though neither seem to care. When you settle down, you tell him, “Noted. Anything else?” Bakugou flexes his jaw in thought. “Not right now but I’ll tell you if I think of anything.” The two fall into another comfortable silence as Bakugou finishes his meal. You observe the people around you, the way they hold an air of superiority about them despite no effort on their part, elegance second nature to them. You had worried that your date would leave you feeling inadequate, making you hyper aware of the role you were playing that felt so unfamiliar. Yet here you were with your favorite hero, feeling free to be as much yourself as the situation allowed. Hell, more so, even. The server comes by to leave the check and take their plates. Bakugou glances over the ticket, then reaches into his back pocket to retrieve his wallet. You expect a credit card, like the dates before him, but instead he pulls out large bills and tosses them onto the table. He stands and quickly moves to pull out your chair. He even goes so far as to offer his arm. You take it with a bashful smile. Once outside, you take a deep breath of the city air. This side of town was quieter, less pollution and traffic. Bakugou pulls away and faces you. “I’ll call you a cab.” “Oh no, I can take the train.” He shoots you a look that says ‘Excuse me?’ so you shut your mouth and look to your feet. The hero takes out his phone and taps away before putting it back in his pocket. “Are you telling me you took a fucking train to get here? In that?” Bakugou gives you a once over, jealously flaring inside his chest at the thought of others eyes you up like this. He’s unsure why he feels so strongly about it, but he’s long past the days of shoving his emotions into a box and wishes he just knew how to make the ugly feeling fuck right off. “Uh, yeah? I don’t have a car.” You shrug. A growl bubbles up from Bakugou’s throat and he takes a step closer to you. You straighten, face now mere inches from his, those vermilion orbs pinning you in place. “From now on, when we meet, I’ll pick you up.” You can only nod, voice gone under his gaze. He nods, stepping out of your space. You take a deep breath now that you feel you are able. “There’s a stupid gala in a week and a half. I’ll give you details later.” Bakugou holds out his hand and for a moment you stare at it, confused. He clears his throat. “I need your phone, dumbass.” You jolt with an “oh!” before pulling it from your purse and handing it to him. “It’s some fundraiser my agency and a couple others are throwing. I don’t remember what for, but heroes and other celebrities are gonna be there.” He hands you back the phone. “Be sure to dress nice. This is your debut.” As he says the last bit, he pulls a wad of cash from his wallet and holds it out to you. You balk, taking a moment to stare before your fingers timidly curl around the paper. “Buy something that’s solid. Even Mina is ditching print.” You have no idea who that is but just nod your head in understanding. He keeps making you feel like words are impossible to conjure. No one has ever made you so speechless. A car pulls up to the curb and Bakugou has the door open and is ushering you in before you even realize. From your seat, you blink up at your date owlishly. He leans on the car door, dim fairy lights casting a warm glow behind him. “And one last thing,” Bakugou leans in, forehead almost pressed to the car’s cool metal lip. His voice drops to a level only you can hear, a purr edging his words. “I better be the only you call Daddy. Got that?” You feel pins and needles prodding your cheeks and numbing your fingers. You nod dumbly. He shakes his head, arching a brow in expectation. Swallowing, you shift in your seat. “Yes, Daddy,” you whisper shyly. He rewards you with a wide smirk, teeth peeking out behind pink lips, and leans back, hand gripping the door and fuck you can’t stop gawking at those biceps. Bakugou feels pride at the way you eye his arms, and maybe he flexes a little just to show off. “Night, baby.” With that, the door slams shut and the car pulls away from the restaurant. You raise your voice enough to tell the driver your address, then return to the daze the hero had left you in. It takes a few long minutes before you are able to pull it together. You flip through the cash he gave you, eyes growing to saucers when you see he gave you a whole ¥50,000. You couldn’t believe he’d give you so much, and for a dress! You stuff it into your purse and pull out your phone, staring at the new contact. You huff at it, Bakugou having put his name, just plain and boring, and edit the contact, changing the name to Daddy followed by an explosion emoji. You pull up a new conversation and shoot off a text to ensure he has your number. The whole way home you grin like a maniac, a light buzzing resonating through your entire being. You’re in a daze as you climb up the 4 flights of stairs to your apartment, humming something random as you unlock your door, only grounding when Rōrupan barrels into you and sends you right on your ass. You place both hands on either side of the dog’s face, scratching intently and sighing dreamily. “It seems things are turning out pretty good for me, Rōru.” The rest of your night is a haze of excitement humming in your veins.
Bakugou makes it home, thoughts stuck on the woman he spent his evening with. When he walks through the door Senshi immediately appears at his feet, rubbing himself across Bakugou’s leg, purring loudly like he has a car engine for a heart. The blond picks him up and scratches under his chin while wandering around the loft aimlessly. He’s left with a light feeling, energy swimming through his body and he doesn’t understand it. All of this from one date? Bakugou scoffs as he sets Senshi on the bed. “You should have seen how gorgeous she was,” he mutters to the cat. He removes his shirt, receiving a chirp in response from his companion. “You’d like her…but I guess you’re a whore for anyone who will give you attention, huh?” Senshi rolls onto his back, wiggling and mewing, as if to say, “Why don’t you give me attention?” Bakugou rolls his eyes affectionately, then continues to get ready for bed. And if he dreams of carding his fingers through [h/c] hair and kissing soft skin, that’s only between him and his cat.

scary movie (bakugou x fem!reader)
A/N: Is this idea original at all? no. I’ve never actually written anything before, and I had the thought of what would happen if bkgo’s quirk accidentally went off when he held hands with someone, bc feelings are hard so he’d just get nervous and sweaty, which would make him more nervous and more sweaty and then..... the inevitable. anyway this is literally the first thing ive ever written and i didn’t know how to end it so here we are! if this is bad plz forgive me lol
Warning: Swearing
“Hey Kacchan!” Midoriya called out to Bakugou, who was headed to the elevators from the kitchen to catch some early shut eye on a Friday night.
“We’re all gonna watch a really scary ghost movie, do you wanna join us?”
Some of the residents at the Heights Alliance dorm had spread out the couches and pillows in the common area in front of the TV, ready for a movie night.
“We’re bonding!” Uraraka gleefully exclaimed.
“Tch.” Bakugou scoffed, glancing at who was present in the current company. Deku, Uraraka, Kaminari, Ashido, Kirishima, Sero and Jirou. A bunch of nerds that he was not in the mood to tolerate.
Kaminari looked over the back of the couch from his spot on the floor, “Cmon Bakugou, I heard this movie’s supposed to be pretty scary! None of that baby jump scare stuff.”
Bakugou shoved his hands in his pockets, annoyed that these people had the nerve to interrupt his peaceful Friday night.
“Hell no, I have much better things to do than hang out with you losers.” Bakugou continued on to the elevator, when the door dinged open before he could press the “up” button.
The elevator doors opened to reveal you, dressed in your comfy pajama shorts and a tank top. You were holding four empty water glasses that you had been hoarding in your room.
“Oh!” Your cheeks flushed from suddenly being face to face with the blond. “Um.... don’t mind me!” You slid past him, embarrassed that you were caught doing the empty cup walk-of-shame by the hot-headed boy.
Bakugou watched you head to the kitchen, hesitating a moment to take in your figure in your skimpy pajamas. “Tch.” He scoffed again, remembering his goal of sleeping for the rest of the weekend, and headed into the elevator.
“Hey (Y/N)!” Midoriya called out. “Do you wanna watch a scary movie with us?”
Bakugou suddenly stopped in his tracks and stepped back out of the elevator.
You set your glasses in the sink and walked over to the group settling in to their seats. “What kind of scary movie?” You perked up now that you were no longer carrying anything.
“A really scary ghost movie. Plus we’re watching the director’s cut that they couldn’t show in theaters! I heard there’s so much blood in it, it made one of the cast members throw up!” Kirishima said, raising a fist in the air in excitement.
“Oh... well, I was gonna go to sleep but...” you trailed off.
Ashido scooted over on the small love seat she was sitting on, “Here, (Y/N),” she patted the empty cushion on her right. “You can come sit with me and we’ll be scared together!”
You reluctantly agreed and sat down. It could be fun, even though scary movies really got to you. You had an overactive imagination and scary imagery in movies stuck with you for a long time, continuing to freak you out long after you finished watching said movie.
Kaminari was sitting on the floor in front of your and Ashido’s couch, in between the two sets of legs. “If you guys get too scared, you can just grab on to me and I’ll protect you!” Kaminari flexed, trying his hardest to look cool.
Suddenly Bakugou walked into the living room and smacked Kaminari in the head. “You can’t protect anyone, you Pikachu reject.” He pushed Kaminari over to the side, plopping down and stealing his seat next to your legs on the floor.
“Uhh Kacchan, I thought you didn’t want to watch with us?” Midoriya looked over at Uraraka, both confused about what made Bakugou change his mind.
“Y’all convinced me, so this movie better not suck or you’ll owe me for wasting my Friday night.” There was a slight blush in his cheeks as he adjusted in his seat and accidentally bumped into your legs hanging off the couch. You didn’t want to piss off Bakugou by accidentally bumping him one too many times, so you pulled your legs up under yourself, although you could still feel the warmth emanating off his body due to the close proximity.
Everyone started to settle in as Jirou and Sero tried to fix the old DVD player that was giving them issues. Midoriya watched Bakugou closely, realizing exactly what changed his mind. He had to tell Uraraka, but didn’t wanna draw any attention to the two of you.
He started typing out a text,
Deku: Ochako!!! Kacchan changed his mind bc of (Y/N) being here!! Look at him, he even went out of his way to sit near her!!”
Ochako: omg I think you’re right Deku. Tho I didn’t think Bakugou was even capable of having romantic feelings towards anyone
Deku: I mean same but deep down I think he’s a nice guy. He clearly wants to sit with her, should we do something??
Uraraka looked back up at the two of you, where Ashido was talking to you about her latest trip to the mall. Bakugou sat at your feet glaring angrily into space. She looked back at Midoriya and motioned towards Ashido. The couch you and her were sitting on was only big enough for two people. She pulled up her phone again and opened up her text conversation with Ashido.
Ochako: Mina!!!! Get off that couch and sit with us instead
Ashido’s phone dinged, and she stopped mid-story to check the text message. You weren’t really listening too intently anyway. It was too distracting sitting this close to Bakugou. He made you feel so nervous and quiet, even though compared to how he treated everyone else, he was very kind and calm with you. Plus he was really cool, and talented, and super cute... but you could never tell him that. His rough exterior and harsh personality made it impossible for someone like you to talk to him.
Ashido read her text from Uraraka, and looked up at her and Midoriya. “Huh? What?” Uraraka and Midoriya were silently motioning to you and Bakugou, trying their best to not capture your attention too. Ashido looked to Bakugou, who let out an over the top yawn, and stretched his arms up over his head, accidentally bumping your legs again. His face flushed as he quickly pulled his arms down and crossed them again. Ashido then glanced back to you, you were covering your face with your hand to hide the blush from the little physical contact you had just had with the boy.
She looked at Midoriya and Uraraka again, and mouthed an excited “oh my god” at them.
Mina: wow they’re pathetic lmao
Ochako: I know!!
Mina: what should I say?
Ochako: Just get up and say you’re gonna sit with us and offer Bakugou your seat!!! Nonchalantly though plz!!! Don’t embarrass them!!!
Ashido stood up suddenly and got off the couch, getting your attention again. “Um,” she hesitated, looking at you and glancing at Bakugou, who was pretending not to listen. “(Y/N), I’m gonna go sit on the bigger couch with Midoriya and Ochako.”
You looked at her, confused. “Oh, okay. That’s fine.” You smiled softly. Ashido looked to Bakugou, who had slightly turned his head towards her.
“Bakugou, you can have my seat if you’d like.” She winked at you and walked away towards the other couch. A sigh of relief came from Midoriya and Uraraka.
A wave of fear rushed through you as you realized what was happening. Ashido sat down next to Uraraka, and Bakugou continued to sit on the floor. What felt like the longest minute in the world passed, and Bakugou stood up and scoffed. “The floor was uncomfortable anyway.”
He sat down on the small couch next to you, sitting as close to the arm rest as he possibly could, resting his arm on it and leaning his head into his palm. You also embarrassedly scooted farther away from him so as not to bother him, since he seemed to want to keep his distance.
“We’ve just about got the DVD player working! Now that I’ve gotten Sero to stop trying to use his tape to fix everything.” Jirou announced to the rest of the group. Sero whined, “Hey, my tape fixes ~most~ things. Ya can’t blame a guy for trying.”
Bakugou reluctantly turned his head towards you, looking at you with lidded and bored eyes. “So um... do you... like scary movies?” He hesitated a lot between words, his tone low and almost nervous, it seemed. For once he didn’t sound annoyed or angry.
You smiled at him, hoping your face didn’t noticeably twitch from how nervous you were while talking to him. “Yes and no, I like watching scary movies, but I hate being scared. Do you like these kind of movies?”
Bakugou rolled his eyes, “I don’t like any movies. They’re a big waste of two hours that could be used to do something productive.” He glanced at you to gauge your reaction, which seemed disappointed. You didn’t know what else to make of this conversation since he already seemed in a bad mood. His expression softened a little, “if you don’t like being scared, why be stupid and watch the damn movie in the first place?”
You shrugged, looking down at your hands in your lap. “I guess I like the excitement of it, if that makes sense. Even though I’ll probably cover my eyes during the really scary parts, and try to bring myself back to reality, ya know?” Bakugou looked at your hands, you were nervously twiddling your fingers.
“Well,” he lowered his voice, speaking in a calm tone, making sure only you could hear him, “even though it’s stupid as hell, if you get that scared and need help getting yourself back to reality, you can... grab my hand or something. And then you’ll realize how dumb it is to be scared of something that’s not real.” He sounded annoyed by the end of his sentence, but you could tell the sentiment was still there. His face flushed a little, and he looked away from you.
“Okay, it’s ready! Someone turn off the lights! Jirou had finally fixed the DVD player and started the movie. The opening credits started, and everyone stopped talking amongst themselves.
You didn’t respond to Bakugou, you were too surprised by his kind offer. When the lights turned off, you could see him in the light coming from the TV. He had relaxed a little in his seat. In fact, he looked like he might’ve scooted a tiny bit closer to you. You let yourself relax a little too, and turned your attention to the movie.
The movie you were watching did a really great job at setting up the scary atmosphere, and everyone seemed incredibly sucked into the story. But you were having trouble focusing. Every time Bakugou shifted in his seat, he ended up moving closer to you, bit by bit. He smelled like firewood and caramel, and he had so much warmth coming off of him, most likely from his quirk. You were generally always cold, but just from sitting next to him, you felt at a comfortably warm temperature. His right hand sat lazily on the seat between the two of you, so it seemed like he was sticking by his offer. The thought of grabbing his hand made your stomach knot, even if it was supposed to make you feel better. You didn’t have to make it weird, you were sure he meant it as a regular old nice gesture, with no ulterior motives. You didn’t know what was scarier, the movie, or the thought of holding Bakugou’s hand.
As the movie went on, you had started to get sucked in and forgot all about the boy sitting next to you. The music in the movie was building up into something that was clearly a jump scare. Every person in the room watching sat tensely and silently, anticipating the scare.
“AHHHHHH!” The protagonist of the movie screamed as a horrifying ghost popped up on the screen, making every single person watching jump and scream as well. Even Bakugou jumped in his seat a little. The scare really got you, you covered your eyes with one hand and then without thinking, you quickly grabbed hard onto Bakugou’s right hand. He looked over at you in surprise as you were leaning into him and holding onto his hand, trying not to look at the ghost that was on the screen. He smirked a little at how pathetic you looked, and then he finally took a moment to appreciate your presence. You smelled good, sweet like vanilla, and he couldn’t help but feel intoxicated by the smell. He started to grow nervous, realizing that he had never been this close to you before. As you continued to hold his hand, he could feel it getting sweatier by the second.
He tried not to pay attention to how gross and sweaty his hand must’ve felt to you, but that only made him more nervous and even more sweaty. As the sweat and nerves built up higher and higher, his heartbeat got faster and faster, he started to lose control of his emotions when...
*BOOM*
A small explosion caused everyone in the room to turn around, surprised by the sound and sudden smell of smoke.
When everyone found the source of the explosion, they saw you and Bakugou sitting very close to each other, with you holding your wrist and coughing, your hand blackened by the soot, and Bakugou’s right hand smoking. The look of fear on his face was a tell all, as everyone slowly realized what just happened.
“Ow...” you lightly exclaimed, shaking the pain from your hand, the small explosion in your hand came as more of a shock rather than real pain.
Bakugou looked around at everybody that were all still staring at the two of you, and then he looked to you in a panic, unsure of how to play this off, but also worried that he had hurt you when he accidentally let his quirk off.
“Bakugou...” Kirishima broke the silence amongst the group, “Were you two... holding hands...?”
Bakugou, in a panic, reacted the way everyone expected him to, he stood up on the couch with an accusatory finger pointed at everyone.
“SO WHAT IF WE WERE, ASSHOLES? NEWS FLASH, I’M A NICE GUY AND WAS COMFORTING HER IN HER TIME OF NEED!!” He pointed his finger at you, and you smiled nervously at your classmates. Bakugou pointed his finger back to everyone else. “YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT??!! FUCK YOU” Bakugou was nearly breathing fire with how red and embarrassed he was, but he would not let that get in the way of his pride.
Bakugou jumped over the back of the couch and headed once again towards the elevators, refusing to make eye contact with anyone “This movie sucks anyway, now I’M GOING TO BED, YA LOSERS” he screamed, fuming as he walked away.
Once Bakugou had left the room, everyone relaxed a little in their seats. “Um...” you started, smiling at everyone again, “back to the movie?” Ashido, Uraraka and Midoriya sighed, “That’s the last time I do any favors for Bakugou.” Ashido huffed.
Everyone muttered to themselves as Jirou pressed play on the movie again. Everyone’s attention was back on the movie and away from you, which finally gave you a chance to breathe.
Your phone dinged, and you checked to see who had texted you,
K. Bakugou 📛: hope that didn’t hurt your hand too badly... Lmk if you want me to make it up to you later. GOOD NIGHT
You giggled to yourself at the aggression from his text.
(Y/N): Okee, next time I hold your hand, be sure to wipe it off first :)
You sent the text, and another moment passed before your phone went off again.
K. Bakugou 📛: OK WHATEVER GOOD NIGHT
You couldn’t help but smile to yourself through the rest of the movie, so much that you didn’t even notice anymore that it was supposed to be scary.

chapter 5: week 12
Summer break was right around the corner and Uraraka was ready to finally lay down and relax. No more worrying about passing written exams, no more worrying about passing physical exams. Just her, her bed or her couch, a nice cup of juice and fun anime to watch. Or manga to read. Uraraka was going to be spending her break doing one of those two things. It was going to be glorious.
There was also the possibility of hanging out with Bakugou, far, far away from everybody else. She didn’t mind being so secretive about it but she did wish they could hold hands in public or he would wrap an arm around her shoulder like he did when they cuddled in bed.
Uraraka would take what she could get though. Anything was better than nothing.
She hummed to herself as she walked down to the classroom for the final day before summer began. They had taken their exams already and had gotten their results and now they just had some finishing touches to do. Uraraka was ready for the easiest day of the term.
The classroom was abuzz as she walked in and took her seat behind Iida. Midoriya was already sitting at his desk and Iida was talking as loudly as ever to him, waving his hands in the choppy way that he did. Bakugou had his feet kicked up onto his own desk across the room with headphones in so he didn’t have to talk to anybody. Kaminari and Mineta were doodling on the chalkboard while Sero kept lookout for Aizawa.
Everything was in place.
(Except the fact that she was pregnant but, you know, happy thoughts.)
“Do you have any summer plans, Ochako-chan?” Tsuyu’s voice came up beside her and Uraraka yelped, almost knocking her things to the floor.
“Tsu, you scared me!” Uraraka laughed and then she shook her head. “Not really. I think I’m just going to use it for training and relaxing.”
“That’s no fun!” Mina slapped her hands on Uraraka’s desk, coming out of nowhere. Uraraka blinked at her in shock. “We’re going to have a girls week at the end of break at Yao-momo’s house!”
“Huh?” Momo turned in her seat to stare at Mina incredulously. “I did not agree to this, Ashido-san….” She eyed Uraraka nervously and Uraraka looked away, almost whistling in innocence. There was still a tension between them as they had not spoken since the incident.
“Aw come on, you have a pool! It’ll be fun, please!”
“You should invite the boys so we can see you guys in bikinis~” Mineta chimed in and everybody glared at him, the small boy shrinking into himself.
Momo sighed. “I suppose I could accomodate you girls .”
“Wahoo!” Mina cheered, Hagakure chiming in, throwing her invisible arms into the air. Uraraka was beginning to sweat thinking about it, knowing she would definitely be showing at that point. She didn’t want to be a party pooper so she didn’t decline right away but even in the future she knew Momo would be relieved that she wouldn’t be showing up to her house. There was an extreme guilt that followed Uraraka around like a sad little cloud about blackmailing and lying to Momo. The raven haired girl was extremely kind and didn’t deserve that kind of treatment.
“Are you sure you’re alright, Ochako-chan?” Tsuyu asked, pulling Uraraka from her reverie. A bright smile fixed itself onto Uraraka’s face.
“Yes, I promise! I, um, had trouble sleeping last night.” Uraraka lied and looked away, fiddling with her pen. It wasn’t really a lie, she and Bakugou had stopped visiting each other and it was becoming increasingly harder to sleep without his warmth at her side. But she had to get used to it if she was going to spend an entire summer without him.
Tsuyu didn’t look convinced but Aizawa stepped in, in that moment and everybody scrambled to take their seats. Aizawa looked as haggard as ever, gray scarf hanging loosely from around his neck and covering his mouth. Uraraka wondered if he ever slept at night or if the only time he slept was when he would worm into his sleeping bag while other teachers took over lessons of the day.
Aizawa made his morning announcements as he always did and listed the day’s events and what he expected of everyone over the summer. Everybody groaned at the prospect of summer work because what the heck, it was summer . It was the only time of the year that they could really relax. Winter break was always too short and was always busy spent visiting shrines and doing holiday festivities.
“Oh, Uraraka.” Aizawa announced, looking at the brunette in the back of the room. All eyes turned to her and she felt the embarrassment creeping up her neck, choking her like a noose. “Please see me in my office before lunch.” He continued speaking then as if he hadn’t just targeted her in the middle of class. She could still feel the questioning eyes of some of her peers on her and she met Bakugou’s, then Midoriya’s before ducking her head down.
What could Aizawa sensei possibly want to see her for? She wasn’t a bad student, she had good grades, never spoke out in class or talked back to her teachers. She really couldn’t pin what exactly she had done wrong.
Unless…
Uraraka touched her stomach absentmindedly. Could it be that… they knew about her pregnancy? She had told Recovery Girl because she needed some advice and how to go about being healthy while the baby grew inside of her. She didn’t want to rely on the internet when there was a professional who was kind and willing to help her. Was it possible that Recovery Girl had told her teachers?
Who else she told?
Uraraka shook her head and resisted the urge to slap herself in the face to wake her up from her thoughts. No, she wasn’t going to freak out about this right now. She was fine, everything was fine. There was no reason to panic. Her mind continued to buzz all throughout the morning lectures and Uraraka felt increasingly short of breath. The only thoughts that plagued her mind was what Aizawa could possibly want to talk to her about. She had always been a good student, her grades never dropped. She was middle of the pack but that didn’t mean she wasn’t an exemplary student. Had she done something wrong, something that she didn’t know about? She couldn’t think of any other option but the pregnancy.
Uraraka ducked her head, grasping tightly at strands of her hair. Were they going to tell her that she couldn’t partake in the hero course anymore? Would she be moved to general studies? Were they going to tell her parents? Oh god, she didn’t want her parents to find out this way. She didn’t want her parents knowing just yet. Was she even clear to tell people? There was some myth about luck when it came to telling people in the first trimester.
Uraraka jerked in her seat when the lunch bell rang and she exhaled, grabbing her things. She wanted to be the first from the classroom but she couldn’t escape the taunts of her classmates. Kaminari made some snarky remark about how the good girl was no longer the little angel they thought she was. Kirishima effectively slapped him in the back of the head while Jirou stabbed him with her earphone jack. Thankful that her friends had come to her defense, Uraraka, red faced, practically ran to the teacher’s lounge where Aizawa was staring blankly at his computer.
“Um, Aizawa sensei…” Uraraka began, shifting in place. “You wanted to see me?”
Aizawa dragged droopy eyes from the computer to look at her. “Ah, yes. Come with me.” He stood, muscles popping as he stretched before slouching over and walking out of the room. Uraraka’s mouth fell open in question but she silently followed him. They walked through the halls without a word and Uraraka avoided the gazes of her classmates that were still making their way to lunch.
They turned the corner and Aizawa knocked on a large wooden door. Uraraka’s eyes widened as she recognized that it was the principal’s office. Aizawa opened the door moments later and ushered Uraraka inside, stepping in behind her.
“Uraraka Ochako!” Mr. Principal cheered in the gentle voice that he always sported. Uraraka bowed respectfully and took a seat when she was told. “It is lovely to see you sweetheart.”
“U-Um, likewise, Mr. Principal…” She glanced at him nervously and then cast a wary look at Aizawa, who sat beside her on the couch. Aizawa offered no help, looking like he might go to sleep rather than pay attention to what was going to occur in this meeting.
“Now, I know you might be worried about why I called you in here but no need to fret, everything is alright!” The lilt in his voice said otherwise but Uraraka swallowed down her complaints. “It has been brought to my attention, Uraraka-chan, that you have become pregnant! How far along are you?”
“T-Twelve weeks.” Uraraka’s voice was small. Her fears were confirmed; the principal knew, Aizawa sensei knew, the whole staff probably knew. She hoped that it didn’t leak to her classmates. She hadn’t thought that far ahead in what she would do. She close her eyes and just tried to focus on the principal’s words.
“That is very exciting!” Mr. Principal sang. “But, you know, you are a very rare case in this country, Uraraka-chan. Teen pregnancy only has a rate of 4% and we do not treat it very lightly. In all of my years here at Yuuei Academy I can say that I have never had to deal with such a case before! I would have to unfortunately blame the dorms here, they do promote a lot of fraternizing and we may have to amp up some security.” He grinned over at Aizawa who only huffed in acknowledgement.
“Now, you are an exemplary student here at Yuuei Academy, Uraraka-chan, and we are offering you your seat in the top class when you return to school. But I must ask-”
“When I return to school?” Uraraka interrupted, confused. Was… was she being asked to leave ?
“But I must ask,” Mr. Principal continued over her, the grit in his teeth prominent. He was still smiling though, “that you leave and do not come back for the remainder of this school year. We can send you your school work and accommodate the fact that you are pregnant. But we cannot ask you to stay, as it would prove to be bad for our reputation.”
“How so, Mr. Principal?” Anger slowly trickled into her veins and her head began to feel light. She tried not to snap but the rubber band was being stretched more and more.
“Well, I’m afraid some of the parents who allow their children to stay here will view the dorms as a breeding ground for their children. If you’re pregnant then somebody else might see it fit to be pregnant themselves.”
“I didn’t ask to be pregnant. It was an accident!” Uraraka’s voice rose and Aizawa placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. It was a quiet plea to lower her voice. They all knew what the principal was like when his temper was tested.
“I know but you know how parents are!” Mr. Principal jumped down from his seat to pour himself some more tea. “We have already contacted your parents to come pick you up and gather all of your things. We are giving you the option to come back for one day after break to tell the class that you won’t be returning but otherwise, you must not come back. We don’t want you to fall behind, Uraraka-chan, so we will do everything possible to see that you’re right on track! You already have a temporary license so you are fit for hero work already.”
“This isn’t fair.” Uraraka argued, eyes welling with tears.
Mr. Principal tutted and then took a sip of his tea. “I am very sorry, Uraraka-chan but I cannot offer any other options. We cannot have a pregnant student being a liability to our hero course. And we are looking out for your wellbeing. How are you supposed to partake in the heroics course with a swollen belly! You have to look after a child now. Unless you want to get an abortion, then by all means you will be welcomed back. But otherwise, we cannot let you stay.”
Uraraka’s mind was running at a mile a second. They had notified her parents and she was being forced to leave the school unless she got an abortion. That thought alone scared her. After seeing her child, though it was just a circle of cells and didn’t have any human features at the moment, she couldn’t do it. She spent so much time thinking about this potential baby that she felt a connection with it and that scared her even more than an abortion.
“I… I understand Mr. Principal.” She sucked down the wetness in her voice and stood, bowing. “May I be excused now?”
“You may. Good luck in the future, Uraraka-chan!” Mr. Principal called as she darted from the room. It was the last knife that was shoved into her back. She felt sick and she hid in the bathroom, locking a stall door behind her as she sat on the toilet. She dropped her bag to the floor and placed her head in her hands, the tears flowing freely.
She was being kicked out of school all because of a mistake that was not entirely her fault. She wanted to curse Bakugou to hell and back but… she couldn’t. This was her mess now and she had to face the consequences. Did she want to bring shame to the school? No. Did she think the principal was being extreme? Yes, yes she did. But she would go quietly and then she would come back as if nothing happened, no matter happened between now and then.
The biggest things would be telling Bakugou, her parents, and her classmates. It was nerve wracking. Her parents already knew it seemed, although the school could have just told them that she was being kicked out and left Uraraka to do the dirty work. She didn’t know how they’d react or if they’d even help her; they were pressed tight for cash already.
The whole reason Uraraka wanted to be a hero was to help her parents make money. Was this baby worth messing up her life plans? The principal had offered her, her seat back but it wouldn’t be the same. She would be behind in the heroics course and would have to work extra hard in order to be on par with everybody else.
Uraraka sniffed and wiped her eyes. She couldn’t spend the entire lunch crying in the bathroom and she needed to eat. She had to be brave. But this was scary, scarier than when they got attacked by the League of Villains (both times) back in her first year. No amount of villain break-ins could prepare her for pregnancy.
Uraraka splashed some cold water on her face and squared her shoulders, staring at her reflection for a moment. She understood why people said that pregnant women glowed; it seemed as if all of her acne had vanished. She didn’t have much to begin with but now her skin was ultra clear. One thing she could thankful for she guessed. She took a deep breath before stepping out into the empty hall and rushing towards the cafeteria. She found her usual table and sat in the seat.
“Uraraka-san!” Midoriya almost choked on his water saying her name and Uraraka laughed lightly.
“I’m sorry to scare you, Deku-kun!”
“N-No it’s okay!” Midoriya wiped his mouth and his eyes were wide, eager to know why she had been called down. Everybody at the table was eying her the same way.
“I don’t really want to talk about it.” Uraraka mumbled and opened her bento box, shoving food into her mouth so she wouldn’t have to elaborate. Everybody shrunk in defeat but let her beat, chatting away as they finished their meals. Midoriya and Tsuyu eyed her suspiciously, detecting that something was off. But they let her be.
It wasn’t until the end of the day when class was already out for summer and her classmates were laughing joyously around her in the dorms that she was cornered.
“What’d that rat face want?” Bakugou slid into her room as she was packing some things. Uraraka jumped and dropped the picture frame in her hand onto the mattress. It bounced to the edge but didn’t fall off.
“He’s not a rat, he’s a bear.” Uraraka said calmly and Bakugou only shrugged, leaning against the door.
“So?”
“So, I don’t want to talk about it.” Uraraka shoved more things into a box. She figured she would be allowed to come back and get the rest of her things during the new term.
“Don’t be like that.” Bakugou grumbled.
Uraraka turned to face him. “Don’t be like what ?”
“All bitchy.” Bakugou crossed his arms over his chest.
Uraraka narrowed his eyes. “Just because we’re dating doesn’t mean that you get to call me a bitch.”
Bakugou scoffed. “I didn’t call you a bitch, I said you were bitchy. Totally different.”
“Not really.” She closed the box with an angry thud and shoved some more things into her backpack.
“What the fuck ever. I came here to invite you to my house over break.”
Uraraka hesitated a moment before continuing to shove her necessities into a bag. “What for?”
“So you can meet my parents? Isn’t that some shit couples do?” Bakugou’s voice lost the gruffness and took on something more… embarrassed. She turned to him and saw him looking at the wall, avoiding eye contact.
“Aw, you want me to meet your parents?” Uraraka teased, anger slowly fading.
Bakugou scowled. “I told my mom about you and now she won’t stop nagging me about inviting you over for dinner. Said it’s the ‘right thing to do’ or some shit. And now my old man is starting to bug me too. So you better come over so they’ll get off my ass.”
“Does this mean I get to see your baby pictures?” Uraraka grinned and Bakugou glared.
“Hell no. You’re not going anywhere near my baby pictures.” Bakugou sized her up as she grew closer, only to peck him on the cheek.
“Aw come on, you don’t want to show me all the pictures from when you were happy and not a brat?”
“You know what, forget I said anything, you and my mom would get along great and I don’t need that.”
“Nope, you already invited me so I will definitely be over!” Uraraka giggled. The pregnancy was out of her head for a moment and her irritated attitude was gone. But then her phone chimed and her father had sent her a dull message about him being there to pick her up. Her mood plummeted once more and soon she was rushing to gather her things.
“Do you need help?” Bakugou offered and any other time she would’ve teased him, again, but now she just wanted to get out of his sight.
“Nope, I’m fine! I’ll see you over break, Katsuki.” She rushed out of the dorms, leaving Bakugou standing there confused as all hell. Upon getting to the car, her parents embraced her with warm smiles and soft kisses to the forehead. Her father’s arms were tight around her as he hugged her. Uraraka thought her heart was going fall out her mouth.
There was nothing said about her pregnancy or her getting kicked out. They only drove her back to the apartment and left her there, not saying a word.
Maybe things wouldn’t be so bad after all.

“don’t shoot”
A fic inspired by the two word conversation starter prompt: "dont shoot"
Thank you so much anon!
Pairing: Bakugou Katsuki/Uraraka Ochako (kacchako)
Writers note: I had no idea this fic was goingto be anywhere near this long. I really enjoyed writing this AU though. I think I'll come back to this when I feel like it and make a second chapter.
Summary: a cop/detective au where Bakugou and Ochako are well respected cops that absolutely despise eachother but have been forced to work together on a big case.
Word Count: 4.591
AO3 link: (x)
She tapped her chest lightly, trying to calm herself down. Slowly breathing in through her nose and out through her mouth. When she felt her heart was going at a steady rate she tightened her grip on her gun. Uraraka leaned against the wall, she counted to three and jumped out from behind the corner. She adjusted her stance and cocked her gun. ‘Lay down your weapon, get on your knees and put your hands behi-.’ ‘Don’t shoot.’ A man with broad shoulders and hair that was sticking out in every direction put his hands up and let a gun dangle from his hand. Uraraka slightly lowered her gun. The villain that she had been chasing for weeks couldn’t be giving up that easily? This wasn’t exactly satisfactory after working overtime almost every day of the week and literally sleeping with piles of casefiles. She tried to make out the man’s face, but he was too far out to tell what facial expression he had on. ‘Step out.’ She commanded. She heard the man groan and heard heavy steps coming in her directions. He stepped out in better lighting she uncocked her gun and shoved it back in her holster. Uraraka immediately rolled her eyes. ‘Seriously?’ The man seemed to be just as unamused seeing her as she was seeing him there. ‘You’ve got to be fucking kidding me.’ He lowered his hands and put one on his hip. Out of all the people to get in her way it had to be him. The most cocky and selfcentered guy on the whole entire force. Uraraka absolutely despised him. Sure, he had solved the most cases since 89’ but how admirable was that really when most times he ignored the commands of the Chief and always went on reckless missions that would always injure himself or his teammates. Everyone was aware of his dangerous work style but still people tried to suck up on him, asking to work on cases with him or even completely take over cases for them. And he had the audicity to “steal” the cases of her colleague’s and take most of the credit without any shame. And the worst thing was the he always so damn smug about everything he did. Uraraka was convinced the man didn’t even know the word “humble” existed. The Chief had suggested for her to work with him on this case. She hadn’t been showing any quality results and he was starting to get impatient. In the most respectful way Uraraka denied his request. She would rather do registrations on the slowest computer in the office for a week than work with him on a case. It was frustrating seeing that the Chief still didn’t see that asshole as troublesome and continued to let him do what he wanted. ‘What the hell are you doing here Bakugou? I could’ve shot you, you know!’ Bakugou ran his hand through his hair unbothered by her obvious frustration. ‘That’s why I said “don’t shoot” Pinkcheeks. And see? It actually worked.’ He casually pointed his gun at her holster She flinched. No wonder he always gets injured, waving around a gun like that. ‘Don’t do that, your gun still isn’t uncocked.’ Bakugou smirked and started throwing his gun up in the air and catching it. ‘Oh I’m fully aware, what’s wrong with that?’ Uraraka took a few steps back. This guy was unbelieveable. ‘What’s wrong?! Are you seriously that-‘ Before she could finish her sentence a bullet flew into the concrete wall next to her. Both of their eyes widened with shock and they stood frozen in their places. Bakugou was the first to move by slowly uncocking his gun and puttubg it back in his holster. ‘That usually never happens.’ He laughed. ‘You could’ve freaking shot me you idiot!’ she yelled. She looked at the dent in the wall that was only a couple of metres away from her. ‘You should’ve said “don’t shoot” then.’ Uraraka couldn’t believe what came out of his mouth. Didn’t he hear that she said that he could have shot her, as in; injure her badly? Possibly killed her? She knew he cared little about his or other people’s safety but actually witnessing it instead of hearing about it does it. ‘That’s it, I’m going to the Chief.’ She turned around and marched towards the exit of the abonded building. ‘Unbelievable.’ She yelled. ‘Absolutely unbelievable.’ She picked out her keys out of her backpocket and flung her many keys around to get a hold of her carkey. ‘Hold on.’ She could hear him laugh behind her. Who does that? Who just gets involved in someone’d case and then almost gets them killed? When she heard his footsteps coming towards her in a rapid rate she started jogging across the empty parking lot. There’s no way he could convince her not to go talk to the Chief about his behaviour. At her car she took a breather, not just because of her near death experience but also because of everything. She deserved some time off after she closes this case, or atleast some high praise, because the things she had to go through were ridiculous and this definitely takes the cake. She looked in her rearview mirror and allowed her hair that had been tied up in a tight ponytail fall over her shoulders.  She checked herself out more. Uraraka hadn’t seen herself with hair down for a long time. She started to fix her bangs and tried to comb out any knots with her fingers. Suddenly she saw a headlight light up in the mirror and it blinded her when it came closer. A motorcycle. It stopped next to her and the driver tapped on the window. She rolled her window down and looked at Bakugou who stood there, ever so smug, parked next to her. ‘Race ya to HQ alright?’ He put on his helmet and before she could even deny him he rode off the terrain. ‘Asshole.’ She growled. He knew exactly what ticked her off. As if that was his part time job; pissing off Uraraka Ochako. She knew he hated her aswell, probably as much as she hated him. Uraraka had heard many remarks that suggested that he thought of her of a goody-two-shoes,  a “princess” and a pet. He’s just jealous, of her work ethic, that actually fitted the ideal work ethic of a high ranked detective. Uraraka started the car and checked all her mirrors. ‘Race ya to HQ alright?’ she mocked him several times. Each time making his voice more ridiculous. Driving to the office she felt fidgety. She felt like Bakugou could pop up next to her, doing something stupid probably. Uraraka tried to drive the speed limit as she always did but she could feel that her feet wanted to plow down on the paddle and get there before him, maybe even hit him with her car on the way there.
‘I’m sorry, did I hear that correctly?’ Uraraka nervously twisted the ring around her ringfinger. ‘Yes Uraraka, I sent Bakugou out there to back you up.. But of course he translated “backing up” to “taking over”. I wanted to see how that would work out and I should’ve expected something like this. I’m sick of you two pestering eachother. ’ The Chief sat at his desk, not even taking a single look at both of the detectives that stood infront of their desk like two children tattletaling to their father. ‘Pestering? Pes-ter-ring? But Chief…!’ she stuttered. Bakugou couldn’t help but chuckle. Uraraka shot him a deadly glare. Her face softened when turning back to the Chief. ‘I’m not pestering anyone! I’m the most amicable person in the force! How can you compare me to that brute, that may I remind you, almost shot me!’ Bakugou spoke up. ‘You better get off your fucking high horse princess, before I kick you off it.’ ‘Thank you for proving my point. See, Chief, are you really comparing me to him?’ The Chief put his fist down on the table, which immediately shut both of them up. He looked up from his computer and adjusted his glasses. The two detectives held their breath. Even Bakugou that had disobeyed the Chief many a times was clearly intimidated by him. ‘You are bothering him and you are bothering her. This has to stop. Especially considering the fact that if you two would’ve worked together we would’ve caught Raven a long time ago. I think that you two together would be a force to be reckoned with.’ Uraraka was at a loss for words. It hurt her to hear again that the man she looked up to and aspired to be like was convinced she couldn’t solve this on her own and that she needed help from some egotistical psycopath. ‘I’m sorry Aizawa you might need to take another look at my record. Hand me over that case and it’ll be solved in no time. I don’t need a brat around yapping in my face and getting in my way all the time.’ The Chief leaned forward. ‘It’s true you’re an excellent detective Bakugou but you could actually learn a thing of two from her. Uraraka Ochako might be the worst perfectionist I ever had on the force but that’s what makes her so punctual, patient and always looking on how to improve.’ Uraraka looked up at the Chief. With ease she soaked in the high praise her mentor gave her. Hip jutted out and arms crossed she looked at a stunned Bakugou that for the first time ever looked “offended”. What an amazing look on his face, a look she wanted to see for such a long time. She wanted it tob e caused by one of her insults, an insult so good he couldn’t fire back at her but this was even better. Better than she could ever imagine. ‘But you could also teach her a thing or two. Being the perfectionist that she is she’s always uptight and seems to not know how to enjoy genuinely enjoy her job.’ Bakugou folded his arms and scoffed. ‘Tell me about it, I’ve never seen a stick shoved that far up someone’s a-.’ ‘In conclusion,’ the Chief interrupted. ‘I need you to put your childish differences aside and work together on busting Raven and his mob. After that we’ll see from there. You two have to work together or it’s going to be paperwork only for weeks for both of you.’ Uraraka sighed. What did she deserve for the Chief to be so hard on her. He did have a smal point, she was able to admit that, but it sure was damn annoying point. ‘Fine, we’ll collobarate, for the city’s sake.’ She said stern. ‘Give me a fucking break, “the city’s sake”.’ Bakugou pinched his knitted brow. ‘Whatever Chief.’ He turned to Uraraka. ‘Let’s get this over with so I can go back to being a prick and you can go back to being a teachers pet.’ And like that, he bowed and left the office. ‘Hey!’ She pointed at the door. ‘Did you hear that.’ ‘Uraraka, leave my office.’ Uraraka jolted and quickly bowed. ‘Of course sir, I’m so sorry sir.’ She backed out the door continuesly bowing. When she felt herself getting lightheaded she straightened up. What was she going to do now? She could barely keep herself from losing her cool when standing in the same room as him and now they had to work together on a case. Her case! ‘Oi!’ Bakugou yelled. He was sitting at her desk, with his feet propped up on her desk. ‘When you’re done kissing ass show me what you already got on Raven.’ Uraraka told herself to count to ten. Being in the force had exposed her too all kind of people and a lot of people managed to test her patience. Counting to ten always seemed to help. But with this guy ten wasn’t enough. She doubted a hundred would be enough. But then she remembered what she was doing it for. To protect the city. Uraraka walked over to her desk after counting to seventeen. ‘Can you please get your feet off my desk? You’re getting mud all over my new mousepad.’ Bakugou looked at the mousepad. ‘Kittens, really? How old are you again?’ Uraraka raised her finger wanting to scold him for even daring to ask a lady her age and to defend her mousepad that was in fact very cute. But Bakugou nodded to something behind her. She hesistantly looked back and saw the Chief propping open his blinds, staring at them. She swallowed all her pride and nodded back at him. ‘Alright then, can I get to my computer please. I’ll show you what I got.’ ‘Fine by me.’ He pushed himself away from the desk to let Uraraka log in. Opening and showing the digital casefile of Raven slowly made her fell back into her element again. She was so absorbed in what she already got on him and the things she still needed to figure out. Bakugou whistled when she closed the casefile. ‘Not bad.’ Not bad? Most people that saw her well organized work considered this impressive, incredible, amazing, and he called it ‘not bad’? Yet again she had to swallow her pride and not speak up on the underwelming comment. ‘Thank you, Bakugou. What do you suggest we should do next?’ Bakugou glanced at the time in the bottom right corner of the computer. ‘Tell you what. It’s too late to do anything now.’ He stood up from her chair and walked over to his desk to collect his motorcycle helmet. ‘Bring everything you got on Raven to my apartment tomorrow, then we’ll figure out our next move.’ He swiped his keys of his desk, walked tot he stairs and started to descend them. ‘Wait wait, did you say your apartment? What about the coffeeshop down the street or the cafe on-‘ He was long gone.Uraraka thought she wouldn’t ever, ever in a million years, see the day that she would go over to Bakugou’s apartment and work with him on a case. She felt a wave of anxiety. She was used to not being able to know what to suspect, her job was filled with unexpected twists and turns. But this was something else, something worse. Uraraka couldn’t help but think about working at his apartment. She felt a lot of things. She continued to feel anxiety, but she also felt uncomfortable, already, and for some reason she felt offended. Maybe the way he said it, maybe because he felt like he could just decide something and she would go allong with it. ‘The nerve.’ She repeated to herself. When walking out the headquarters, when driving home, when brushing her teeth. Her phone lit up when she mid floss. She took a quick look. Uraraka prayed it wasn’t a tekst from her friends asking her to come out for drinks at a ridiculous time. The last time she agreed to that she sang karaoke for 2 hours straight and almost fought a bartender for not letting her sing for 2 hours more. To her surprise it was an unknown number. The message only contained an adress. ‘How the hell did he get my number?’ It was a stupid question really. Bakugou was the top detective in the prefecture. He could probably find out her family’s pet name if he wanted to. But talk about creepy. She threw away her floss and brought her phone to bed. His apartment is actually not that far from hers. Just a few blocks. Uraraka wondered why she hasn’t seen him riding around the neighbourhood on his motorcycle before. It could be just to show off at work, something she had speculated with another colleague who also wasn’t too fond of Bakugou. She put her phone on her nightstand and turned away from it. Papers started crumbling underneath her. Of course she would forget to put away all the casefiles and notes.  Uraraka sighed. Soon she would take a take a break from this life. Soon the case could be considered closed. Soon she,
They,
would catch Raven and his underlings.
In the morning Uraraka woke up too early for her liking. It was a Saturday and usually she decided to lie in ‘til the afternoon, play with her cat Mitsu and work on cases in her bed. Mitsu paraded over to her and nuzzled up next to her face. The little guy knew exactly when Uraraka needed a bit of his love. She stroked his snow white fur. ‘Sometimes I wish I was like you little guy. You don’t have a single worry in the world.’ Mitsu meowed as if he confirmed that he was indeed living a luxurious life that she should envy. Uraraka checked the time. She had a couple of hours before she had to be at Bakugou’s. ‘Enough time to prepare.’ She scoffed at herself. “Prepare” it  was just work God damn it, that’s what she had to keep in mind! Work, just work, just two people on working how to bust a infamous crimelord and his entire mob…Work! She kissed Mitsu’s head. ‘I would love to stay with you buddy but works calling.’ She slid out of her bed and walked to her closet, that barely contained anything clean or approperiate. A good portion of the, “finding an outfit” part of her morning consisted of smelling all kinds of clothing items and settling for something she wore twice already. She showered, put on her clothes and grabbed a ricecracker. The most her stomach would allow. Uraraka fished all the evidence out of her bed and desk which formed a pile she could barely hold under one arm and left her apartment. In the car she tied up her hair and started driving to the adress that had been imprinted in her brain. When driving into Bakugou’s street she realized she forgot how nice the neighbourhood was. It didn’t fit him at all. She parked a couple of metres away from his apartment and checked herself in the rearview mirror. ‘You’re here to work, not argue. Just work.’ She told herself one more time. She grabbed the handle but hesitated pushing the door open. Uraraka reached for the hairtie in her hair instead. Gently she pullled it out and let her hair fall over her shoulders. ‘Alright.’ Quickly she tucked her hair behind her ears, grabbed the files from the backseat and stepped out the car. Trying to keep the papers in place she stumbled to the front of his apartment and pressed the buzzer with her elbow. ‘Oh great.’ He heard him sigh in the intercom. ‘You’re the one that invited me.’ She sproke under her breathe.
She fully regretted not leaving her high ponytail after struggling to climb up six flights of stairs with weeks worth of work under her arm. Bakugou was leaning against his doorpost when she arrived. ‘So typical of you to be forty fucking five minutes early. I was still in bed.’ He shoved his watch in her face to show her the time. ‘I didn’t think I was going to be this early and how am I supposed to know you were still in bed?’ Bakugou leant against his door making it open further. ‘Well I don’t know, maybe you could texst first? You’ve got my number now right?’ Uraraka pushed past him into his apartment. ‘Well yes. Your message creeped me out by the way, you could’ve just asked and I would’ve…’ Uraraka forget what she wanted to continue her sentence. His apartment got her in complete awe. It was considerably larger than hers, that she expected but the rest was so not Bakugou? There were pictures of his family and a drawing made by a child framed hanging in the hallway. Drawings that were made fór him. The living room was nicely decorated, it was very modern but it didn’t feel like something showcased in interior design magazines. It still felt like a home. It was hard to believe that Bakugou actually dressed up this apartment himself. ‘Quit looking around, we probably have a lot to do today.’ He pushed her towards the couch and took over the papers from her. She couldn’t help but still check out his apartment when standing in front of him. Behind him stood a bookchase that showcased more of his achievements that books. That’s more like him. ‘You know there’s a couch behind you right? You can sit down if you want.’ Uraraka sat down on the couch as if it was a brand new couch and she was scared of ruining it. Bakugou put down the papers on the coffee table. ‘Is tea alright? I only have tea so you better say yes.’ He walked over to his open kitchen that was stationed behind the living area. This guy only drinks tea?! Who is this? Is this the right adress? Did Bakugou have a twin brother that was a sophisticated person? ‘Tea is fine thank you.’ ‘Thank fuck.’ He mumbled. She couldn’t help but watch him. He did look like he came straight  out of bed. He was wearing a black tanktop and plaid pyjama bottoms and his hair was an even more mess than it normally was. When he wasn’t talking you could say he was attractive, or atleast handsome. Uraraka’s hatred for him often made him look past his looks unlike other collegeau’s of hers. Almost every female in the force seemed to go weak at the knees when he entered the office. She could honestly hurl at the sight, but when seeing him like this she could kind of see where they were coming from. ‘Do you live alone?’ she ran her mouth. ‘Okay Pinkcheeks. Let’s just keep the conversations to a bare minimum. We don’t have to pretend to be all chummy when Aizawa isn’t here.’ He put down two cups on coasters and sat down in a big chair next to her. ‘Let’s get to it.’ ‘Right.’ She agreed with him but it didn’t feel particularly nice being shut down like that. ‘Raven.’ ‘Raven.’ She repeated after him. She went through everything she got on the villain so far, including theories of where the case is headed. When in her element she almost forgot how strange the situation she was in was. Uraraka mostly thought about how close she was to catching the bastard. When she finished it was Bakugou’s turn to get invested. She had never really seen him work. She just heard stories, and the stories were mostly about him busting in somewhere guns blazing. Uraraka didn’t get why no one talked about what went on before that. The guy was intelligent, in twelve hours he had managed to connect the dots she explained twice in 2 hours total. For a guy that hated hearing her talk he sure had been very observent when she was. It was nice to see a facial expression other than “smug” on his face. For once he didn’t have douchebag written on his forehead. His brows were relaxed and his eyes looked intense and intimidating. When deep in thought he would close his eyes and hold them closed with his thumb and index finger. If he got it he would shoot up and continue talking. ‘That’s why I think Raven is involved in more than we think.  I don’t know what exactl but what I do know is that it’s not well organized. Raven clearly gives out the orders and doesn’t care how it gets done. He’s confident. Any mistakes his underlings make he can clean up. And if what you’ve written down here is correct than they made a lot of mistakes. It’s smart, I’ll give the bastard that. With the actions being so unexpected and unorganised it’s hard to find a pattern and keep track of him. That’s probably why it’s taken you this long to bust his ass.’ Uraraka was getting fired up. She had this exact same thought for a while but doubted herself because she thought she didn’t have enough evidence to back the theory up. Hearing that the number one detective in the prefecture had the same theory about Raven actually boosted her coinfidence a little. ‘Raven has been slacking though. He’s been sending out the same guy to do his dirty work too often in the same time period. It seems like he’s getting desperate, he wants one of his main guys that he knows he can trust, to get shit done. Fast. It’s obvious he knows we’re on to him. The one thing I can’t seem to lay my finger on is what the hell that bastard is planning. Those are my thoughts.’ He finished his tea and brought his cup to the kitchen counter. ‘So?’ Uraraka stared with a blank face at the coffee table. ‘I can’t believe I missed that. I can’t believe I forgot about that guy. This is a massive lead.’ ‘You’re welcome.’ Bakugou sang from the kitchen. She grabbed her notebook she brought allong and agressively started jotting Bakugou’s last hunch down. ‘Since when do you let your hair down?’ he asked out of the blue. ‘You said there was no need pretend to be chummy.’ She answered suspicously. Bakugou walked back to the living area and fell back in his chair. ‘Touché. But I still want to know.’ ‘And I still want to know if you live alone.’ Bakugou raised an eyebrow at her. She couldn’t quite indecate what that meant. ‘Well, doesn’t this look like a bachelor pad to you?’ She looked around as if she hadn’t inspected almost every inch of his apartment. ‘Not really, it looks like somewhere I would want to live.’ Bakugou looked around as well as if he hadn’t been living in it for the longest time. He was genuinely confused. ‘Time to set this apartment on fire then.’ Uraraka rolled her eyes. ‘After that disgustinly embarrassing moment I want to know why you left your ponytail at home today.’ Uraraka glanced at the hairtie around her wrist. ‘Felt like it.’ ‘That’s not really a good answer.’ ‘You didn’t even answer my question.’ They both groaned. ‘Fine, I live alone.’ ‘And I’m having a mental breakdown so I decided to switch it up.’ The way that came out was so so so depressing. She didn’t mean to share that much of herself. Irritation made her say more than she wanted to. Which was the main reason Bakugou knew how to clapback so well. She felt a blush creeping up on her face. She quickly picked up her tea cup and pretended to take a sip. ‘I think we’re past the bare minimum.’ Bakugou put his feet on the coffee table and crossed his legs. ‘We aren’t working right now though. We’re taking a break.’ There he goes with deciding things on his own. ‘I like it though, kinda symbolic for what the Chief told you yesterday.’ Now her blush was too spread out to hide in a tea cup. ‘I like your apartment.’ She said into the cup. Bakugou laughed. ‘Ah, so you can be nice?’ ‘Right back at you.’ She sassed. What was happening slowly sank in. Uraraka Ochako and Bakugou Katsuki have been in a room together for more than two hours and they haven’t ripped eachother to shreds yet? A miracle.
