in the evil-but-not-really!lloyd au possession is mostly about lloyd and morro hanging out at the skate park

Kinda skipping around in the timeline here but a big part of this au is Lloyd hating being the green ninja and the responsibilities that come with it, so he spends months not participating in any ninja activities (training, battles, etc) and trying to live a relatively normal life.

"relatively normal" to Lloyd means still staying at the monastery but more as Wu's annoying nephew mooching off him for food and board and then spending all his time at the skatepark (he is not good at skateboarding).

Morro returns for the same reasons but after finding no green ninja running around he's just sort of chilling and him and Lloyd become buddies. Lloyd is pumped to have a cool new ghost friend and even asks him if he can try possessing him out of curiosity.

Queue Morro slowly finding more and more coincidences surrounding Lloyd that point in the direction of him being deeply entangled with what used to be Morro's life.

Lloyd invites Morro over to the monastery to hangout and Morro is so shocked, Lloyd explains he's Wu's nephew and Morro accepts this but is very on edge.

Now picture this, Morro grabbing some food from the fridge late at night to bring back to Lloyd's room where they're playing video games and Wu walks in. Wu is shocked. Not registering that this is Lloyd's new friend he's been talking about, Wu starts going "Ah my former student, you must be here to claim the title of green ninja, unfortunately the mantle has already been taken by my nephew".

Morro is angry and confused and him and Lloyd have a huge verbal fight. Lloyd does not care about being the green ninja, he's dismissive and essentially tells Morro he can have the title if he wants which just further enrages Morro. This then leading to a possession scenario similar to that of the original season.

Lloyd is so fun to draw, and he’s even more fun to draw when he’s in an villain au

(Backstory for au, after season 5, Lloyd decides being a bad guy is more freeing and feels cheated out of his childhood. He’s come to hate the family he was apart of and his prophecy. He flees, ridding himself of his green gi, swapping the green out for purple. He no longer goes by Lloyd the green ninja,now by just Lune. He’s started a group called the outlanders, set on causing chaos and for him personally, getting revenge on Wu. He was failed by every adult in his life, and so now the tables will turn on them. He’ll make sure of it.)

Villain Lloyd AU: the garmadons are not okay(lloyd disagrees)

My head is swimming with so many AU ideas. So that alternate ending of Crystalized where Garmadon actually dies and Lloyd gets lost to the madness and takes his throne as the ruler of Ninjago? Okay yeah, let's make that worse.

Lloyd goes insane after Garm dies. He had another chance with his father, and he blew it. The grief makes the Oni side of him heavily influence and take over his decisions, hence having him think "If Harumi can resurrect Garmadon, so can I" and goes mad trying to bring his father back, almost breaking ninjago city in the process..and it works.

Months or so pass when he manages to bring back Sensei Garmadon, and Garm is revived by a psychotic obsessed Lloyd who is now emperor.

and GARM IS HORRIFIED OF WHAT LLOYD HAS DONE while Lloyd is just happily giggling and clinging to him because he brought his dad back and wants to make up for lost father-son time. Garm's the only one who can stop Lloyd from violently murdering ppl and now Garm has to try and fix everything while dealing with a crazy emperor Lloyd.

Lloyd: Aha, look at what you just did to my father. Looks like I'll have to kill you! :D

Garmadon, horrified: Wait, LLOYD NO-

I see y'all with your Quiet One Lloyd AUs and I raise you:

AU where Lloyd never met the Ninja again after their initial encounter in Jamanakai Village. He ran off before he could fall into the Hypnobrai tomb, so no one, least of all the Hypnobrai themselves, have any idea how or why it opened.

Couple years down the line, the Ninja (who still have no idea who the Green Ninja is) are getting their butts handed to them by a mysterious masked stranger, wielding an unknown element in the form of some sort of destructive, green-and-purple energy. An out-of-breath Kai angrily demands to know who this guy is, prompting the assailant to dramatically pull off his hood and mask and say,

"What, you've hung so many kids from roofs you can't even remember all of them?"

Okay.. Okay okay okay, but:

The Ninja being hated instead of praised. Listen, just- Just listen, okay? Going based off of the song "Enemy" by Imagine Dragons, just- It's- Okay, I'm not good at explaining things, BUT, I am good at writing.

If you have questions PLEASE don't be afraid to ask!

It's not long, and it's not very detailed, but by whatever holy being there is, I am thinking about it so much

The news twisted everything. With the coming of the ninja, everyone seemed to hate them, focusing on the smaller things like destroyed buildings and crashed parties, rather than looking to how they saved the city from a humongous snake, or the overlord! The negatives, never the positives.

And that was the messed up part about it.

Constantly, the group received praise outside of the gis. They weren't ninja full time, only when the time called. When did the time not call for it? Everyone in the group had somewhere to fall to. Jay with his parents and inventing in the junkyard. Cole with his dad and pushing through training. Kai at a noodle place in town. Nya at a nearby tea shop. Lloyd fell as a groundskeeper for the monastery. Zane worked in a graveyard to keep in town.

Each praise felt dull and backhanded to them for how good of a job they did. Each news article felt like a stab in the heart.

'The Ninja: Heroes or Villains?'

'Buildings Collapsing, is it The NInja's Fault?'

''Leave, Ninja!', Ninjago Protest in Central Park'

Yet they pushed through, everyday. Saving those of Ninjago despite how vicious and loudly their cries rang. They had each other to build up.....

But when one pillar falls, the rest is bound to crumble.

Just thinking about Lloyd as the Quiet One

He was tossed aside and forgotten about so long ago he doesn't recall a time anyone ever thought of him. This boy needed love or at the very least attention, his father was evil surely there was something he could do to stand out. Something this lost child could do earn his fathers love.

He raised an army that tossed him aside. He fought the chosen ninja and that should have been his moment in the history books. It was never meant to be, he thinks. Watching from the shadows as a girl his age just as sad and broken as he, was brought into his uncle's home and given the keys to destiny itself. This girl fought his father and broke Garmadon free from the dark whisper on the blackest night, better known as The Overlord. She even cured him, though not completely. Garmadon's memories under the venom's influence flash in his mind like a dream. He remembers a woman, a father, a child, and a fight that sent him to another world but nothing is clear. And he can't remember their names. Surely if he can't recall the names of people he vaguely dreamed of loving, they must not have been important.

It must have been a dream.

The forgotten son gives himself a new name. The Quiet One, you don't see him until it's over. His hands leaves their mark on his victims and his enemies that don't know they are enemies. Yet no one has seen his face. His influence in the world is gentle nudge, things just just needed something small and forgettable to add to the pot and cause it to boil over. The Quiet One made a list of all the people who wronged him. All the people who had forgotten him.

At this point, it shouldn't have surprised him when no one recognized him. When he screamed into the void "Look at me!" and no one answered. When his father died, and his mother after having disappeared all those years came to the funeral, no one bothered to call him. His own mother passed this forgotten child waiting by the statues in the Corridor of Elders, for just a moment to look into her eyes. But she didn't see him, a polite nod acknowledging the presence of this stranger and proving he wasn't a ghost. His dreams of reunification were crushed to dust as he was overlooked by the one person in the world who was meant to love him.

It didn't surprise him when no one in their wildest imaginations or forgotten dreams guessed that it was him. The welp from the serpentine attacks could never have grown to be so dangerous. Surely if he were evil the ninja, his mother, or anyone would have noticed. In the depths of the faintest recollections this child was harmless so why worry.

Years later, a leather and blood bound faction that call themselves the Sons of Garmadon terrorize Ninjago City. They disgraced his memory with a dark promise to disturb the eternal peace of the beloved Sensei Garmadon as an evil husk to destroy Ninjago. And not a soul, not a one could understand why.

With the rattle of heavy chains, a red lollipop, and an evil laugh they've long forgotten about, they suddenly remember.

A boy with no home, no family, and no love left in his heart. A boy who's goal is to punish everyone for daring to forget his name

The Son of Garmadon.

some base info for the evil-but-not-really!lloyd au below (more to come later)

this au is a collab with @ac0rnman

Pre-Show:

-instead of being aged up in child’s play this lloyd was aged up after finding nadakhan’s lamp right after being kicked out of darkley’s

-his specific wish is to “be stronger than his bullies” which nadakhan twists to just make him older and therefore stronger than the darkley kids

-what nadakhan did not account for was prematurely awakening lloyd’s elemental powers which lloyd was unaware of himself and believes are part of the wish

-trying to save face and needing to reassess the situation nadakhan plays along and leaves, leaving the other two wishes for a later date

-lloyd fully accepts being older and becomes essentially what a 10 year old would picture a cool teen to be

-similarly he turns to a life of petty crime including stealing food out of necessity and other things like low-level arson and shoplifting non-food items (including a sick skateboard he doesn't know how to ride)

-at this point lloyd is aware of garmadon being his dad and admires his power but resents him for not being there

-his main goal is to surpass garmadon and be better at being evil than him, he is driven mostly by spite

He needed Garmadon's corpse if he was going to correct that stupid mistake his old self made. Besides, he liked the corpse! Sometimes he took it around with him to places, regardless of the gagging that he would sometimes hear from the citizens that would unfortunately cross his way. It was like his father was still there.
