The TDP National Chief Chandrababu Naidu is continuing his political Irrigation tour against the YSRCP Government and reached the East Godavari district. The senior politician found fault with the lazy response of the YSRCP Government regarding the Polavaram rehabilitation houses and victims. With the help of a PowerPoint presentation, the tech-savvy ex-CM of Andhra Pradesh CBN has explained the colossal failure of the AP Government regarding the Polavaram and its associated projects. He claimed that the TDP Government back then constructed most work of the Polavaram Dam and even provided rehabilitation centers alongside constructing houses for them. He added that the governance under him helped many victims of the Pattiseema region with the funds taken from the Central Government along with the State’s compensation to aid their families. However, the current government completely failed in the project as they neither completed the houses for the victims nor completed the project. Naidu declared that the project will not be completed since the Jagan-led YSRCP Government didn't even start the works of the left canal in this regard.  The Opposition leader of AP demanded that Jagan Sarkar fulfill the promised 19 lakh rupees compensation per acre for those who lost their lands due to the project. With the sole aim of exposing how the YSRCP Government neglected the irrigation projects in India, Naidu is touring the entire AP and is covering all the major projects.

Chandrababu Naidu is a No.1 Corruption King of Andhra - EtG
Tumblr media
Chandrababu Naidu’s four and half years (2014–2018) rule in Andhra Pradesh is marked by corruption, incompetence, untruthfulness, and undemocratic attitude. Thanks to Naidu’s active support, corruption and extortion have peaked and reached colossal levels; so much so that even sand reaches and temple lands are not being spared. The only area in which Chandrababu Naidu has managed to achieve rapid growth is high volume corruption. His rule is replete with bribes, commissions, cuts, kickbacks, and all imaginable forms of wheeling and dealing. Indeed, Mr. Naidu has amassed more illicit wealth in past four and half years than all his previous ministerial stints put together.
62,736 Acre land grabbed by TDP leaders across the state
Tumblr media
Nara Chandrababu Naidu is the №1 Corruption King of Andra. TDP leaders grabbed 62,736 acres of land across the state in the 2014 to 2018 period. The value of these lands would be not less than Rs. 58,933 crore as per prevailing market rates. Beginning with the party workers and going up as high as the benamis of the Ex. chief minister, land grabbing has become the norm. With the objective of buyout the upcoming elections by pumping massive amounts of funds, land grabbing began with the new capital, Amaravati, has now extended to all districts.
This land grabbing activity does not exclude any land let it be Temple lands or Graveyards or Lakes, and not to speak the assigned lands of Dalits. Lands grabbed in this manner were pledged in banks to obtain crores of rupees as loans. Additionally, lands were grabbed in Amaravati new capital region through insider trading and in Visakhapatnam by tampering with records. Here are the details of district-wise land grabbing by the ruling party leaders.
Rs. 3,245 Crore Corporates Gifted Valuable Lands in Capital Area
Tumblr media
Land worth Rs.4 Crore an Acre Given Away for Rs. 50 Lakh.
927 Acres of Land Worth Rs. 3,708 Crore, Given Away for Rs. 463 Crore
Rs. 400 Crore Franklin Templeton Scam
Tumblr media
Franklin Templeton got 40-acre land for mere Rs. 30 crores while the market price was Rs. 406 crore
Initially, the land was given on lease, but it was later changed into an outright sale
The AP Govt. refused to pay heed to the advice of APIIC, which asked the government to allocate 10 acres at Rs. 2.70 crore per acre.
Franklin Templeton got a shady history of job promises; it made promises of job creation while taking land in Hyderabad but failed to fulfill it.
Chandrababu government Targets the assigned lands
Tumblr media
Corruption king of Chandrababu government has made the assigned lands of the poor an important target
The government sets to collect 20,603 acres assigned lands for industrial purposes
The TDP has defaulted on this poll promise on the assigned and Patta lands, which mostly belong to the poor BC, SC, and ST farmers. In the pretext of industrial development, the party has been targeting the assigned and Patta lands. It wants to retake the assigned and Patta lands and gift them to the crony capitalists, who are loyal to the Ex. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
Amaravati World Class City or World Class Scam?
Tumblr media
Rs. 1,00,000 Crore ‘Capital’ Benefit!
Ex. CM Chandrababu Leaked Critical Information of the Capital City Location to his Coterie Members and Benamis
25,000 Acres Were Bought by the Ruling Party Land Vultures
Rs.1,00,000 Crore Profit to Nara Lokesh, His Aides and TDP Leaders
Corruption king Chandrababu Naidu has not only helped his cronies and party leaders in buying valuable lands but also protected those lands from the so-called ‘land pooling’. While the lands of ordinary farmers were taken by hook or crook, the lands of his cronies were left untouched. The way the TDP government exempted the lands of Lingamaneni Estate and Ramakrishna Constructions from the land pooling testifies for the bias. Though Lingamaneni Group and Ramakrishna Constructions have bought 804.32 acres and 179.51 acres of assigned land.
Chandrababu has pooled a total of 53,743.49 acres for the capital city from the 29 villages located in Thullur, Tadepalle, and Mangalagirimandals. Out of this, 15,010.03 acres are assigned and government lands and the remaining 38,737.46 acres are private lands.
A World Class Scam
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Captured Capital
Tumblr media
Andhra Pradesh's new capital is now in the clutches of land vultures, which also hold high offices in the government. Not just a few, but the entire ruling Telugu Desam Party- led by its supremo Chandrababu Naidu- has attacked the new capital city and grabbed substantial amounts of lands. At the expense of poor and gullible farmers, they could have these lands registered in their names and of their benamis.
Chandrababu Naidu has hidden the decision that was taken in the very first cabinet meeting as to the location of the new capital city and intentionally created confusion among the people with his oft-changed statements and media leaks about the prospective location of the capital city. He has terrified the Dalits by spreading the rumors that the government was going to take back assigned lands without paying any compensation.
One Bit One Benami
Tumblr media
The capital city land scam is open and ubiquitous. One doesn’t need to dig deep to obtain the evidence for the involvement of the Ex. CM and his cronies in the scam, it is just out there for everyone to see. This scandal was scripted and directed by Chandrababu Naidu under the guise of developing a world-class capital city. It dwarfs any great land scams in the world. Had the Ex. Chief Minister and his party was fair to the people, thousands of farmers wouldn’t have lost their livelihoods and prospective fortunes.
The cronies of Chandrababu and their benamis abused their power to wreak havoc in the lives of the farmers of the capital area. The Minister for Ex. Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD), P.Narayana, who has been playing an active role in the CRDA affairs, personifies the scandal.

Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy looks to abandon Amaravati, plugging instead for decentralised development.
Tumblr media
Tri-junction: CM Jagan Reddy (Photo: Vikram Sharma)
Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy appears determined to dash the development plans of his predecessor, N. Chandrababu Naidu. Reddy is preparing to disperse the state capital to three locations-Amaravati, Visakhapatnam and Kurnool.
In a report submitted to the chief minister on December 20, 2019, an expert committee headed by retired bureaucrat G. Nageswara Rao had recommended that the state administration be shifted to Visakhapatnam, while the state legislature remains in Amaravati and the high court shifts to Kurnool. Soon after, on January 3, the state government-appointed Boston Consulting Group (BCG) presented its report, which largely agreed with the Rao committee report, recommending decentralised development for the state. Highlighting the economic risk of developing a new capital-through an analysis of 30 greenfield capitals across the globe-the BCG report also noted that aside from Shenzhen and Navi Mumbai, all others had failed to achieve their development targets. As a next step, Chief Minister Reddy has tasked a 16-member committee headed by state finance minister Buggana Rajendranath to study the two reports and present the findings to the legislative assembly before the end of January.
However, ex-CM Naidu has rubbished the plan, calling the reports “waste paper for the Bhogi bonfire rituals ahead of Sankranti”. A lot is at stake for Naidu, who spent much political capital selling the idea of Amaravati as a dream city. Not everyone agreed with that vision, with many suspecting the new city would also serve as a mega real estate venture to benefit the Kamma caste, the dominant group in Naidu’s Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Extensive land purchases in and around Amaravati by the Kamma community and other TDP leaders have reinforced this impression and led to allegations of ‘insider trading’. While nothing has been proved, a cabinet sub-committee looking into the matter alleged large land purchases by elected representatives, people close to Naidu and by companies in which he owned shares in the period leading up to Amaravati being declared the capital in December 2014. Though Naidu has dismissed these as baseless, CM Reddy is likely to order a probe.
However, the TDP is not alone in its opposition. Investors in Amaravati are reportedly apprehensive of poorer-than-expected returns, and farmers who had consented to the land-pooling agreement by which Amaravati’s lands were acquired are restive. Even the BJP is against the plan: “The central government, farmers and bond-holders are also stakeholders [in this matter],” says state BJP president Kanna Lakshmi Narayana. “Farmers gave 33,000 acres [under the land-pooling agreement] and the Centre has spent Rs 2,500 crore for the development of Amaravati.”
But CM Reddy appears confident of his three-city plan. Arguing for decentralised development, he says, “We believe that [development] will be just only if water, funds and administration are equally available to all.”

via Today Bharat nbsp; Ex-state Intelligence chief AB Venkateswara Rao has been accused of indulging in 'serious misconduct' during procurement of security equipment under the TDP government. nbsp; The suspension of a senior police officer in Andhra Pradesh on charges of treason has sparked a row with Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy coming under attack for targeting officials, who were considered close to his predecessor N Chandrababu Naidu. The opposition parties have flayed the YSRCP government for once again resorting to vindictive politics, this time targeting bureaucrats. After YSRCP came to power in May 2019, several Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, who played key role in implementing decisions of the previous Telugu Desam Party (TDP) government, were shunted out from key posts. Some of them are still waiting for the postings. One of them was Director General of Police-rank officer A B Venkateswara Rao. His suspension not just for misconduct but on the grounds of treason is perhaps unprecedented. An officer of 1989 IPS batch, Rao has been charged with colluding with Israeli firm RT Inflatables Pvt. Ltd. to illegally award critical intelligence and surveillance contract to his son Chetan Sai Krishna, CEO, Akasam Advanced Systems Pvt. Ltd, primary bidder on behalf of RT Inflatables. Rao was then Additional Director General of Police (Intelligence). According to a report of the internal probe by the police department, Rao willfully disclosed intelligence protocols and procedures of police to foreign defence manufacturing firm. Rao was considered close to Naidu and was shunted out as the intelligence chief by the Election Commission on the eve of the elections on a complaint by then opposition YSRCP. The YSRCP had even claimed that Rao was behind the defection of nearly two dozen YSRCP MLAs to then ruling Telugu Desam Party. Jagan Mohan Reddy's party had gone public with the names of the officials allegedly helping Naidu. He had alleged that these officials belong to Naidu's Kamma community. After being shunted out by the Election Commission, Rao was heading the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) till May when YSRCP came to power. He was transferred but was not given any posting. Leader of opposition Chandrababu Naidu slammed Jagan for the witch-hunt against officials who worked with him. He claimed that that ever since YSRCP came to power 200-300 officers were denied posting and were not paid salaried. "I have never seen a government with such vindictive approach in my 40 years of political career," said Naidu. The TDP chief termed the suspension of a DG rank official as unprecedented. Defending the officials being targeted by the new government, Naidu said that they had nothing to do with the decisions taken by the previous government. "The CM takes the decisions and officers will execute the same. They don't take decisions." A section of top bureaucrats are said to be worried over the series of developments during last few months. They point out that the government did not spare even the chief secretary, the top most bureaucrat. Though appointed by the Election Commission during elections after removing A C Punetha for defying its orders, LV Subrahmanyam was allowed to continue as the chief secretary after Jagan became the chief minister. However, in an unusual move the official was transferred in November, five months before he was to retire from the service. The government cited no reason for this but the axe fell on Subrahmanyam over differing with the chief minister on some policy issues. "This government is vindictive towards TDP, officials and even people," said TDP senior leader Y Ramakrishnudu. He cited controversial decisions like shifting of capital from Amaravati to Visakhapatnam. However, the YSRCP government has defended the action taken against officials for their misconduct. Minister for Municipal Administration Botsa Satyanarayana said that it was sad to see Chandrababu Naidu supporting corrupt officials. Terming Rao as a traitor, YSRCP legislator Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy had even demanded the central government to issue a look-out notice for him as there are chances of his escape from the country. He claimed that Rao bought over 200 acres of lands at various places.
