Sorry if it's boring, but continuing with LawRusso AU Johnny princess, I really like the "enchanted" movie and I can't stop thinking about Johnny being Giselle singing to the rats and cockroaches to clean Daniel and Sam's house lol

as a rule of thumb it is NEVER boring to send me asks, especially ones like these where i can have fun and think of AUs! and you picked a movie i love so this is just a win win for me!!

let’s get into it:

lawrusso enchanted AU is such a good idea im almost jealous i didn’t think of it myself!!

i think daniel and amanda got divorced amicably a few years ago and she still lives in los angeles but daniel moved back to jersey to be closer to lucille and he took sam with him (im imagining this as a story without anthony because it fits better, sorry anthony).

daniel still works as a divorce lawyer because that is just funny to me and it’s canon to the movie and he has this perpetual look of "im one shirt sleeve caught on a door handle away from snapping" look because being a single father is hard work and yeah, he and amanda co-parent but sam is with him most of the time and by moving here he’s always made himself more prone to special lucille larusso mother attacks of "you never visit even now that you’re so close" "you’re so skinny, do you cook actual food or just eat take out?" "are you coming for christmas? all your cousins will be there and also that nice girl you liked when you were a kid, judy? maybe it’s time to get back into dating, daniel!"

amanda has planned to come into the city to spend the holidays with her daughter and ex-husband and i see her as a platonic nancy role.

sam is in her full princess era and she’s making both her parents crazy with all the singing and dancing (and kicking furniture because she’s a karate princess)

meanwhile, in andalasia, johnny who is both prince(ss) and hero dreams of finding his one true love and sighs at his window. he’s been locked away in a tower by his evil step-dad kreese and he’s waiting for someone to come and save him (or at least just open the door of his magically locked tower because he can surely save himself).

carmen who happens to be a princess and hero herself has gone on a quest to save the lost prince of andalasia and with her help, johnny manages to escape the tower, defeat a forest troll and take back his throne from kreese’s claws. he and carmen tentatively get together (but deep down both feel this might not be the right fit for each other) and as johnny makes his way to his own royal wedding he’s sent to Real Life New Jersey and meets daniel and sam.

i kind of see giselle’s wedding dress for him but with pants for a more Realistic outfit but… screw realism i want johnny lawrence in that EXACT outfit!

also imagine scott mccall the equalizer soft mullet with a tiara, it’s just too good. ALSO imagine carmen IN THIS!!!!

you KNOW she would rock this!!

oh and yeeees, johnny summoning rats and insects in daniel’s apartment to clean and sam is SOOOOO excited because that’s a real life prince(ss) who also happens to be a great fighter and they do karate moves while also talking about johnny’s best friend, a chipmunk called bobby.

sam and johnny going on a shopping spree and buying a bunch of stuff and eating ice cream. johnny going to the hairdresser and having his hair cut to look more traditionally masculine (daniel doesn’t want to look into why it makes him sad) because he he keeps getting looks from people in the street for his dress and long hair.

johnny making clothes out of daniel’s curtains and daniel is all you could just ASK me for MY clothes you are not THAT much bigger than i am. johnny making a gi for sam out of pastel pink flower fabric from an old blanket and daniel is like okay… i have to admit that’s pretty adorable.

johnny in the park singing to daniel, who has been wondering if he should take his mom’s advice and try to get back with amanda, hoooow dooooes she knooooow you loooove heeeer (johnny stop, people are looking at us) and johnny has that giselle/animated princess innocence but there is still very much an edge of assholery to him where every time he can he embarrasses daniel as much as possible.

(carmen running around new jersey trying to find her prince(ss) and being like i kind of hate this i wish this was more sunny, also why do i keep getting questions about being on broadway what is a broad a way)

daniel and johnny fighting because johnny keeps saying carmen will come get him and daniel is so fed up with it ("no, johnny, it’s just not gonna happen." "no? is that the only word you know, larusso? no?! oh my god you make me so, so so!!!" "so what?" "so angry!" cue sparring in the living room because that’s how they deal with emotions )

johnny and daniel falling in love montage and then CARMEN AND AMANDA FALLING IN LOVE MONTAGE!!! YES I WILL SNEAK CARMANDA IN EVERYTHING EVER!!

kreese coming to new jersey to finish the job, daniel and johnny going to the ball and daniel giving johnny a true love’s kiss, kreese turning into a dragon and kidnapping daniel, johnny chasing them on the roof with carmen’s sword in his hand and finally getting rid of his evil step-father to save his one true love!!

lawrusso new jersey happy ending and carmanda los angeles happy ending because amanda wouldn’t go to andalasia when sam is there and hey! carmen would love a break from being a fairytale hero! she wants to go to the beach!

daniel quits his job because it makes him miserable and he and johnny open a dojo together which sam is very excited about and lucille is so happy that her son has found someone and seems to be happier than ever.

they all go to andalasia once in a while to visit bobby and the other three chipmunks (you know who they are) and they all live happily ever after.

Lawrusso Dream (2)

Okay, so, out of nowhere I had a Lawrusso based dream, and I figured I'd share it here, because why not? It was kinda cool because it was set up like an episode of the show, mixed with fanfic, and of course, ~dream logic~ lol

So it started off with the POV of some random lady my brain made up, apparently named Olivia, who was arriving at a seedy looking hotel (everything was very brown and outdated). She got into the elevator where she ran into Johnny. They made kind of awkward small talk, but Olivia felt like he seemed like not a creep.

They got off on the same floor and he went to room 14, while she went to room 10. Except her room was in the process of being cleaned (looked like they were trying to hide a crime scene) and the lady inside said her room wasn’t ready and she couldn’t keep her bags in there yet.

Olivia went to her car, grabbed her bags, because she was worried about her abusive ex showing up and taking her things to try and force her to interact with him. She went to the room Johnny had gone into, and knocked on the door to ask for help. Johnny and Daniel answered the door and she was surprised.

(It changed here to Johnny and Daniel’s POV)

So as Olivia was explaining her predicament, she said something like "Oh, I'm so sorry for bothering you and your husband" to Johnny. Johnny and Daniel both glanced at each other. Daniel was waiting to see Johnny deny it, but he didn't, and they both silently kinda came to the agreement to go along with it because she might feel really uncomfortable going to two old straight dudes for help over an apparent couple. (Suddenly) Sam was sitting in the room watching as Johnny and Daniel went along with it, looking highly amused (she disappeared pretty much after this, lol dreams).

After Olivia left to go into town (leaving her bags in their room to get later), Johnny and Daniel decided they had to keep up the charade because they had no idea when she'd show up, or if she might need help. So they brought all their stuff into Johnny's room (Daniel may have been rooming elsewhere but had just been talking with Johnny when all this happened). They were like tossing things to each other to place around the room, and putting each other's stuff on the bedside tables, to make it look like they were Very Much A Couple and then high-fived lol.

They of course had to share a bed now, and went to sleep. Johnny woke up to Daniel sprawled across his chest, and he had a sudden thought of how things might have been if they'd been friends like this when they were younger (~daydream transition fade woo~). Young Johnny and Daniel (like 20s) are sitting on a couch watching a show or movie together and laughing and cuddling under a blanket. Daniel ends up with his head on Johnny's shoulder, snickering away at whatever they're watching, and Johnny can't stop from smiling.(~daydream transition fade back to present~)

Johnny and Daniel both woke up and got ready. Daniel had brought food that could be thrown together in the little kitchenette in the room, and made them both breakfast. Johnny took one bite and had a sort of flashback (if you're picturing it like the scene with the food critic in Ratatouille then you'd be correct) where he realizes that food is his love language. He also realizes he actually wants to be with Daniel for real.

The "episode" ended and I immediately got onto to Tumblr to see if people were talking about how wild this episode was and if anyone was freaking out of the Lawrusso stuff, but nobody was talking about it.

And then I woke up.

So that was the Lawrusso Dream, lol. It was very silly, but also really cute. Maybe it'd make a good fanfic (with obvious edits to make it actually make sense and not have people randomly appearing and disappearing lol). Anyway, if anyone read this, I hope it amused you. Or inspired you, idk.

Posting this as its own text post because I keep thinking about ex-husbands Daniel and Johnny with their teenage son Robby.

Based on Noora’s gifset from S2

Daniel’s feeling great. He got up at 6am that morning. He went for a run. He did his yoga. He completed all the steps in his skincare routine. He had his coconut butter and blueberry oatmeal, all before getting the kids out of bed and making their favourite Saturday morning pancakes. Then he drives Sam to her swimming class and heads to the hardware store with Robby, as he drinks a fresh green smoothie, because they’re doing a DIY project together on the new house.

Johnny, on the other hand, woke up at noon, hungover and feeling like hell. The water in his crappy apartment doesn’t work properly, he hasn’t done his laundry so can’t find any clean clothes, and the fridge is practically empty so for breakfast he has half a burrito from the day before and a coke that’s gone flat. As he does every morning, he then looks at the kids’ Instagrams, where he sees pics of Daniel and the kids at the beach the day before, looking so happy and vibrant without him that he feels like getting drunk again.

That afternoon he happens to go to the same hardware store as Daniel and Robby, and feels like slinking away but can’t help but watch them as he hasn’t seen them in weeks. When they notice him, Daniel’s immediately like, “ugh Johnny,” and Robby’s like, “ugh Dad,” and their tense, awkward conversation ensues. Johnny leaves feeling like shit, not knowing that under the hurt and anger, Daniel and Robby do miss Johnny. He just isn’t reliable or responsible, and until he works on his issues, Daniel doesn’t want to open their lives up to him again.

amanda pretty much assigns herself as the wedding planner. once ali hears about it she literally flies to la because how often are you gonna get to help your two ex boyfriends from high school that fought over you get married to each other??

johnny asks bobby to officiate. thats not what bobby does but he agrees to it immediately. he’s already reconnected with daniel and apologized for how he treated him in high school so they’re all pals

they’re not really sure what to do about the best man and maid of honor but then someone suggests just having their kids do it. sam is VERY enthusiastic (she’s already helping plan the wedding) and robby is kind of unsure but eventually is fine with the role. he’s already getting used to the weirdness of his mentor and his father getting married, and becoming sam’s stepbrother, so at this point he’s just like, “sure, why not”

they have an outdoor ceremony and reception. the cobra kai and miyagi do kids are guests and hang out together. shockingly, no fights break out, everyone has a good time

daniel invites kumiko and chozen who are delighted to be there. kumiko jokes about how since daniel married his first rival, he never should’ve been worried about how his rivalry with chozen ended. daniel points out that he and johnny never fought to the death. johnny learns some new things about his newly wedded husband

ali gives a toast that affectionately roasts the guys for how the behaved in high school and how it took so long for them to end up like this

M - Name a character that you’d like to have for a friend.

I would guess it would have to be Amanda...because I love her dry sense of humor and wit.  She handles everything in such a great way...especially concerning her marriage.  I will take some points away from her for her parenting skills...I’ve never been a friend of the “friend” parent...but then I will give her her POINTS back for at least TRYING to stick to her guns on discipline.  ex: taking away her phone etc (but the teens snowballed her again)  I like how she doesn’t take a lot of BS lightly and then gives a person a chance who she barely or hardly knows and gives him the benefit of the doubt.  I also love that’s she’s a LAWRUSSO shipper!!  She’s really just a solid character and I would love to be her friend!

P - Invent a random AU for any fandom (we always need more ideas).

I’ll talk about one I have invented and not finished up and I’m pretty bent out of shape over it.  In my Bates Motel Universe...I had created an AWESOME AU where Norma Bates- was a Vampire that was turned in The Romanov era by Rasputin himself along with her son Dylan whom she turned so that he wouldn’t leave her.  Her daughter had died due to an illness which left Norma bitter and angry and revenge seeking.//Caleb her brother/husband was turned later on so that he could track Norma down when they fled Russia. //Current times:  Norma finds Norman when he is a baby and kills his parents.  She’s about to kill him, but Dylan stops her from doing so. He had separated from Norma because he couldn’t stand what she had done to him.  Norma spares Norman’s life and raises the child as her own.  Dylan always looks out for him because he is human and Norma is often tempted to have him as her next meal.  (She works hard to fight those urges because she loves him as her son)  

- Norman is a “normal” human trapped around all sorts of fantastical things...His mom and brother are vampires...he’s aware of that.  They move around a lot and finally settle in White Pine Bay.  The Sheriff is a Werewolf ( who hates vampires in his town)/ There is a dead girl at the school that needs Norman’s help to solve her murder/The teacher and three of the girls from school are witches that want Norman for their next sacrifice.  I just was so in love with this story I don’t know why I stopped...Maybe one day I’ll pick it back up again but it’s called “The Battle Between Blood Lust and Protection” - if anyone wants a read!  I invented it but I’d love to FINISH IT!

Not necessarily...I only belong to like about three or so...but it’s kinda swamped me with a lot of everyone else’s favorite fandoms.  I know we all want people to be interested in what we love...and it’s a good way to express it.  I wouldn’t stop liking some of the fandoms...I just wouldn’t start to begin with.

I don’t know why I wrote this today when I should be working on my other WIPs, but here’s a scene from my “divorced Lawrusso with kids” fic if I ever get round to writing it properly. Because I guess I didn’t get enough tragedy or angst from my last fic...

Daniel takes them out for lunch at a diner across town. He thinks it'll be nice, the kids always liked it here. Instead they sit in silence, a storm brewing between them. 

He tries to draw them into conversation, but it's no use. Robby, so like Johnny when he's upset, stabs his fries into his ketchup, mouth pulled into a sullen knot. Across the table, Sam stirs her milkshake morosely, chin in her hand. Daniel wants to remind her not to put her elbows on the table, but he lets it slide.

He takes a sip of his coffee and says, "We haven't been here in awhile, have we? It hasn’t changed that much. I wonder if they still make that amazing key lime pie.”

"I liked it more when we came here with Dad," Sam replies, voice flat. "He used to get that huge cheeseburger and let me eat the pickles."

Robby's jaw clenches. "Shut up about Dad," he says. 

That snaps Sam out of her stupor. She looks up from her milkshake, blue eyes blazing. "Why? So you can go on pretending he doesn't exist?"

Daniel sets his coffee down, quickly thinking of ways he can steer the conversation into safer territory. Sam and Robby didn't fight often, but when they did it had the potential to go nuclear, especially since Daniel had asked Johnny to move out.

"Let's not fight," he says. "We can enjoy lunch and then walk over to the mall, how about that? Maybe we can even go watch a movie.”

Sam and Robby continue to shoot daggers at each other.

"He's the one who pretends we don't exist," Robby says. 

"That's not true!"

Robby squares his shoulders, leaning across the table. "Yes it is and you know it. Dad doesn't give a shit about us. If he did, he wouldn’t have bailed today.”

"Shut up," Sam says, voice rising to a pitch that has the family at the table next to them glancing over quizzically. 

Daniel puts his hand on Robby’s forearm. It’s meant to be a gentle, diffusing touch, but it just makes Robby tense even more. That was another thing he had in common with Johnny. He hated feeling caged in. 

Not that Daniel wasn’t angry himself. He was fucking livid. But he wasn’t going to let Johnny ruin their day more than he already had. 

"Robby, stop it. Your dad loves you. He just has a lot going on right now. Something must have come up this morning, but he’ll make it up to you.”

"Yeah," Robby says, upper lip curling up cruelly as he stares at Sam. "I guess he's too busy being a fucking loser."

That's the trigger point. Daniel’s about to snap, to say that’s enough, but before he has the chance, Sam surges up, her chair skidding behind her with an ugly squeak.

"And what would you know!" she says, so loud half the diner halts and turns to look at them. "You never talk to him, you never even want to spend time with him! All you do is say horrible things to him. You both treat him like he’s garbage. And now he thinks we don't want to see him, but I do! I want to see him and I can't, because no one will let me! So why don’t you just shut up about him for once!”

She starts crying then, and it’s not the small, hiccupping tears Daniel heard from her room sometimes, but a sob that made her entire body tremble violently. 

Daniel reaches out for her - to hold her, comfort her, he doesn't know what can make any of this better - but she jerks away, her face in her hands.

Robby doesn't say anything else. His mouth knots up again, and he turns to stare out the window, face pale.

A waitress makes her way over to ask if they’re okay. Daniel says yes, that they would be leaving soon. What else was there to say. How could he explain that the three of them had splintered. That since Johnny had left they were a ruin of a family, its debris forming around the empty shape he’d left behind. He can’t say that, so he doesn’t. Instead he puts an arm around Sam and wipes her face with a napkin, and the three of them finish their lunch in a still, bruised silence.
