My fav Natasha plothole in the mcu

So, Natasha was born 1984 and was a part of the KGB, which dissolved in December 1991. Meaning, Natasha was a child when she worked for the KGB.

(Imagine 5 years old Natasha killing people for the USSR.)

But that did not happen because canonically Natasha joined the KGB AFTER her training in the Red Room. (it'd make a lot of sense if Natasha was trained to kill and spy and then joined the KGB)

But THIS is how Natasha looked like when she was graduating the Red Room. What a strange way to portray a literal child, right?

MCU writers: "Natasha was an adult when she joined the KGB. It was after her training in the Red Room."

Natasha being 7 when the Soviet Union (+ the KGB) dissolved and an adult in the 2000s. (she turned 18 in 2002)

So either, the KGB existed longer than it did in our universe or the writers fucked up (I believe it's the second one)

Like, mcu writers can create entire an franchise but fail at simple maths?

I'm again seeing many people hating on Nora's writing style.

If you think Nora's writing is bad then you must have never read bad writing in your life.

Because let's be real, you have to be a pretty talented writer to make so many people fall in love with your books and characters. Just look how big the aftg fandom is, that's pretty impressive, you gotta admit it.

the reason this makes no sense is because Natasha's full and legal name is Natalia Alianovna Romanova. In Russia, the middle is patronymic, created by using the child’s father’s name with the suffix “vich” or “ovich” for boys, and “avna” or “ovna” for girls. This means ‘son of’ and ‘daughter of’.

Natasha's name basically translates to: Natalia daughter of Alian Romanova

So, Russo brothers, who is Ivan?? Who tf is he!?Because he's not Natasha's biological father otherwise her middle would be Ivanovna, which it isn't!
