Shout Out to the Extroverts Who:

• Don’t want to bother their introvert friends, but need human interaction because they feel fulfilled by it. So they sit and wait in hopes that the introvert friends message them, but it’s super disappointing because nothing happens.

• Feel perpetually lonely.

• Are germophobes because sickness means isolating oneself to get well/not spread disease.

• Feel the negative energy from one group of people and actively avoid it because even though they need human interaction, they’d rather suffer from no energy than negative energy.

• Are the go-to tension breakers at school/work/camp.

• Are super good with kids.

• Have lots of positive energy that is mistaken for constant happiness; so, their other emotions don’t get taken seriously.

Because I feel you. I am you. It’s okay. ❤️

Some introverts should not make friends

I admit that this is phrased kinda clickbaity but it's true. There are some introverts that just cannot maintain a friendship because they don't understand friends.

I used to have a friend like that. He told me that he's an introvert and occasionally needs his alone time. I was absolutely fine with that and really happy that he just told me that instead of bottling it up and then being passive aggressive about how "annoying and clingy" I am. It wasn't until the next year that I found out what he actually meant.

"I won't text back for several months"

"We can never hang out together ever"

"I will occasionally tag you in memes but never actually talk to you"

"If you try to call me out, I will shame you for being insensitive and clingy"

I just asked him if he wants to do something maybe once a week or less. Either he didn't answer or he told me that I'm insensitive.

Does that sound like friendship to you? After he called me an annoying and inconsiderate cunt for the third time, I couldn't handle it anymore. I just told him that if he wants to be alone for the rest of his life then he should not make friends. Ever.

I know that most introverts are not like that but this website actually demonizes extroverts pretty quickly and very heavily.

Extroverts are not vampires who want to bother you. They're people who have needs too, just not the same as you. And if you feel like all people ever want is to steal your time, then don't make friends with them. Because friends are people too.
