there's food shortages, the town around the tree is a cult.

they basically worship this one kid and shun the other, you can prolly guess which is which

it gets worse for nightmare/bloodmoon until he fights back and they don't fuck with him much

time passes, bloodmoon gets Kevin, yadda yadda

kevin ends up being the cataclyst for breaking dresm/vulture and bm's relationship, causing them to argue. a lot.

the power the villagers make vulture think he has makes him go fucking batshit, that or he didn't sleep, or both! probably both.

so one fateful day, he decides to do stuff

and bm looses his eye cause of it.

vulture's like "hmm i could start a c̶u̶l̶t̶ organization" thus JR was made and the rest isss history

So I might have forgotten to say it, but in this AU, time doesn't just stop after 2003 Donny, 2012 Mikey, and Rise Raph get mentally linked. After getting their mental connection, they continue to live their lives and the adventures that come in the episodes.

So while Raph does get a bit of rest after the movie, 2003 Donny follows the 2003 third season, and 2012 Mikey jumps straight into the 2012 fourth season.

#something something an eye for an eye but the actual physical scarring can be interpreted as symbolism of Dark Cacao and Choco's characters #bcs Choco's is like on his eye a very defining and public scar like it's one of the first things you see on his character which can be #interpreted as like how it's clear as day that he's not the same “noble prince” he was while Dark Cacao's (possible) scar is not only #never seen in any of his sprites but we never get a scope to how bad the injury was (even though it's possible he was hardly injured due to #like being immortal but I digress and also think that interpretation is incorrect) could be seen as how he hides his damage from the kingdo #and its citizens even though it's eating him up from the inside and eventually spills over into a more physical manifestation (the wall) of #his grief and all that he DOES try his best to hide how much everyone he ever cared about leaving him affects him. #anyway tl;dr Dark Choco's damage from their conflict is incredibly visible which is reflected in his eye scar while you wouldn't be able to #see Dark Cacao's as easily or at all. Anyway you get it. You see the themes. It’s been a week and like, two days, and I almost don’t notice my eye now. With the exception that it weirdly gets drier than my other eye more easily. And someone would probably notice the scratch if they looked closely enough. But aside from that, it’s back to normal. I got very lucky.

It's so insane how Dolores calls him her rapist and sobs over his abuse of her, and he literally threatens that her life will be ruined, if anyone even believes her, if she ever tells anyone about the abuse, and these weird grown men insist she actually is happy being kidnapped and raped by her own step father as a small child. This is exactly what I meant when I said that these people are projecting on Humbert. If you're too stupid to understand that Humbert is an abuser, get off the internet and don't bother reading or watching anything even remotely complex. But these people are intentionally ignoring that he's an abuser because they fetishize Dolores as much as he does, and they use this to attempt to groom children. Note the way these men paint her, Dolores, as the one being judged by people who say she's a victim. That's a very intentional method of manipulation and isolation by saying that people who tell them they're being abused are actually just judging them, so they should only listen to these grown men.
