“I’ve always liked that you don’t beat around the bush, Will.”
“Never been a fan of bush beating,” he deadpans.
Beverly nods. “So I’m just gonna come out and ask: Is there something going on between you and Lecter?”
It’s kind of cute, the look Will gives her in response. She’s managed to drag him back to the here and now, that much is obvious. He blinks, rapidly, brows drawing hard together. “No,” he says, and it’s a scandalized sort of ‘no’, like she’s suggesting something wildly inappropriate. “No, of course not.”
“Is there going to be?”
Will scoffs. There’s a flush spreading over his face, now. His ears are turning red. “I don’t know what could possibly give you that impression.”
Beverly rolls her eyes. She leans against the counter near him, cocking her head to the side dubiously. “You’re serious? I might not have an empathy disorder, but that doesn’t make me blind. You two are all over each other.”
(another short fic for one of my Lightning Bolt Tier Patrons <3 )
Guys Shawn Levy basically gave us confirmation that there are directors in ST who approve of Byler or at least acknowledge where it’s supposed to go and he also directed Dear Billy and that has the Byler apology AND HE DIRECTED THE RAIN FIGHT SO THAT MEANS…
This also means the Eye Witness parallel was intentional
Jake Tapper posted a clip of his interview with a witness or the October 7th attack. People in the replies to this tweet is calling the witness a liar.
We were learning about how unreliable witness testimony was and my teacher did the thing I saw online about some cop teacher bringing a robber in, but instead it was just a random student. I had only glanced at the guy so I was freaking out when my teacher revealed that we needed to fill out a suspect form that was actually used in California at some time. I was like, "I saw this online. Oml."
The other thing we did was watch a couple videos and figure out which one was the "rooftop bomber" and, as skeptical as I already was, I didn't think it was any of them but I had to be convinced by a friend.
I'm sorry for the cruelty of this picture, but I couldn't see Amina and not share her story. Trigger warning: eye injury (bloody eyes).
Amina Ghanem, 13 years old, says: We were sleeping and we heard the sound of tanks when they came and walked over the caravan in which I, my father and my siblings lived. The tank squeezed us inside the tin all night, and we were ran over, until the morning. And when they finally let us out, I found that my father and my little sister have been killed. Now we've been brought here.
She tells her story in this video with her little brother beside her. They're all on their own. Their mother is outside of Gaza and cannot get in or get them out. They have no way of communication, their father and sister are killed.
