would the ocs as section 13 include their shadiness/lowkey fucked up morals? maybe not necessarily for the ocs girlies that we know and love, but the wider organization of the ocs beyond the cats cradle covent?

Okay, I have not really put any thought into the OCS / Section 13 thing. It just kind of seemed kind of a natural way to translate it with the OCS being a secret chapter of the Catholic Church that does all this very non-Church like this stuff. (This also goes along with the idea I had of Duretti being the typical "not-so-good" Admiral Star Trek is known for.

I guess the biggest thing is whether the OCS = Section 13 as a whole, or if just our group of OCS girlies happen to be in Section 13 or even some kind of separate cell of the organization.

With the ideas I had in mind, I guess it'd only make sense if the ship was operated as a normal ship like the Enterprise or Voyager and that only the Warrior Nun-specific characters would be part of Section 13. (all or some of them depending). That would allow fun stuff like the bar and Hans to be on the ship while also still enabling the dirty wetwork they would do.

I would definitely give them 100% on the shadiness, and fucked up morals depends on the character. They're all there to do in the dark what Starfleet's too afraid to do, so I wouldn't put it past most of them to do whatever they need to complete a mission (that is until Ava appears and throws a wrench into everyone's emotional stability).

I like that you brought up the Cat's Cradle because I have just been at a loss as to what use the name for. I was thinking maybe it's a term for endearment for the ship as opposed to its official name or maybe the name of Hans' bar. I'm almost settled on having it be a specific part of the Neutral Zone that the OCS tend to operate in, but who knows.

Sorry about probably not answering your question at all, but all of this rambling has definitely got my gears spinning about this AU, so that's definitely a plus.
