oooh for the poly request ! Gender neutral, adhd and bpd reader with Pepa and Felix (Encanto) ? :3c
Poly Headcanons | Pepa & Felix Madrigal
Tumblr media
thank you for requesting, anon!
reader is assumed as gender neutral and as having the above conditions
note : not the most confident in my portrayal or understanding of adhd and bpd as relevant to this piece, so i focused more so on the relationship in general instead with bullet points including them.
pepa and felix are already an incredibly and unconditionally supportive pair of lovers when it comes to each other and their family, so it would stand to reason that this nature would extend to you as their third.
pepa completely understands the struggles of mood swings and, as such, shares her coping mechanisms with you and will help you through your manic and depressive episodes with patience, empathy and whatever localised weather you like (as close as she can emotionally get to it, anyway)
felix has endless patience to give and is a rock for you and your wife, someone to ground you and help you stabilise in the short term - even bringing you back up with jokes, music, dancing and warm drinks
matching colour schemes are a must, so expect to receive plentiful clothes in various shades of red, yellow and orange
they’re both incredibly flirty and in love with you and each other, so you will usually end up caught in the middle of a perfect storm of trailing touches, suggestive comments and sultry gazes at least once a day
dancing with pepa and felix also happens often, no matter the weather - and you’ll usually end up either drenched from rain, shivering from cold or damp from the sheer heat of her sun
they’re both very considerate of your conditions, doing their best to completely and genuinely understand what you go through during episodes and your general behaviours - learning your routines, triggers and what best helps you surprisingly early on in your relationship because of their sheer will to understand
the kids love you: dolores loves how in love you three are (it gives her hope and she just thinks it’s adorable), camilo likes you because he relates to some of your behaviours (he sees himself in you and it’s refreshing) and antonio loves having another parent around that he can hug
every night is spent wrapped up in each other’s arms, spooning in a line and bare from your earlier activities or the heat of pepa’s happiness depending on the day
felix calls you “mi corazón” and pepa “mi vida”
pepa calls you “cariño” and felix “mi rey” or “amor”
dates are a must and occur at least twice a week - whenever you have time away from your duties and the kids are sorted (and usually handed off to julieta and augustín, in antonio’s case)
there are pictures of the three of you all over your shared room in casita, the numbers rivalling the masses of images that depict their children
pepa asks you to help her with her hair each morning, finding the repetitive action to be soothing and grounding in one way or another - and she always jokingly claims that you do a much better job than felix (earning an overly dramatic sigh and complaint from the man in question before you all burst out laughing)

Hi! May I request a reader who is apart of the madrigals, but they are adopted? Reader doesn't feel like apart of the family but the madrigals reassure them that family isn't defined by blood
Found Family
Note: This request is so cute, I hope you like it💕
Pairs: Madrigals x Adopted!Reader
Platonic!
Genre: Fluff and a bit of angst.
Tumblr media
You are pathetic.
Worthless.
You don’t fit in.
You’ll never fit in.
Don’t you dare call yourself a Madrigal.
The voices in your head wouldn’t stop, no matter how hard you try.
You always try to distract yourself from the voices, like doing embroidery or or playing the guitar.
But it’s no use, it kept going and going.
Days tuned to weeks and weeks tuned to months, the voices still wouldn’t stop.
It was breakfast, you and your "family" were eating. Of course, as usual, Camilo went overboard.
"If you are going to have all that, you better eat all of it." Félix warned his oldest son.
"Yeah yeah, don’t worry pops, I won’t waste a single one." Camilo reassured his father.
You however, were staring at your food.
"{Name}, why aren’t you eating? Is everything alright?" Your foster mom Julieta asked.
All eyes of the Madrigals were on you, some in confusion, concern and worry.
"Huh? Oh, sorry. I was in my own world." You told them, but in reality you were just trying to shut the voices up.
They don’t care about you
You aren’t a Madrigal
You don’t have their blood
They are better off without you
However one Madrigal was not convinced.
You guessed it, our main character in the movie.
The infamous Mirabel Madrigal.
And she was going to find out what bothered you.
Later in the afternoon, Mirabel went to the nursery where you and her slept.
Since you don’t have a gift, you were put in the nursery.
Mirabel knocked on the door.
"Guess who!~" She singsonged, you clearly know who it was.
You the chuckle "Perhaps a fifteen-year-old girl named Mirabel Madrigal?"
The third daughter of the second oldest of the Madrigal triplets burst into the room pointing fingers at you with a smile.
"You guessed it!"
"What’s this about?" You questioned.
"Well, a little birdie told me that something was bothering, and seriously one of Antonio’s birds told him and he told me."
"So what’s bothering you hermana?" Mirabel asked.
"I just- I don’t feel like I belong in this family, out there in the pueblo are so many people that are dreaming to be part of the famous Madrigals, I feel really left out because we don’t share the same blood." You admitted and Mirabel had a look of sympathy.
"{Name}, that’s not true. Sure that people in the community wish that they shared the same blood as us, but you belong in this family. Same blood or not you are still family."
You felt the tears kicking in and you immediately hugged Mirabel, which she gladly returned.
"Isa told us that we should have a girls night in her room, wanna join?" She asked.
"Of course" You felt better already when Mirabel cheered you up.
But what was the best thing?
The voices finally stopped.

warning: mildly nsfw implications under the cut
Mirabel: it’s almost time for dinner, has anyone seen Bruno?
Isabela: not lately. I think he may still be in town.
Abuela: still? He usually comes back in the early evening, at the latest.
Julieta: Dolores, do you hear him anywhere?
Dolores: (listens out/ her eyes widen a little and she blushes) don’t worry, he’s at Y/n’s house… and I don’t think we’ll have to wait up.
Pepa: (firmly presses her lips together to try and hide her smile)
Félix: (hides chuckle with a fake cough)
Mirabel: (kinda gets it & looks away)
Julieta: I’ll, uh… ahem- save some food for him for tomorrow.
Abuela: (considers inviting y/n over for dinner soon)

Camilo M. x reader
   ~🕯☀🐀🍘💬🐝👂🦎🐆🌷💪🏼🦋~
Summary✒ the Madrigals are taking a Family Vacation, well apart from Abuela who chose to watch over Encanto, the Family needs a break... However, the family ends up finding a new stranger who has a gift and a certain shapeshifter in the Madrigal family quickly helps the Stranger come together with his family...
((Part 1) I really missed writing for the Madrigals and this stupid chameleon )
      ~🕯☀🐀🍘💬🐝👂🦎🐆🌷💪🏼🦋~
The Family was taking a much-needed vacation, in a new small town with few problems.
Juliéta was happy to be in a new (temporary) kitchen to get messy and try new things without worrying about getting Casita all messy, Aústan was just happy to spend time with his family and not worry about the Bees... Mirabel was happy to share her dresses and fashion designs with new people, Luisa was happy to not use her gift and give her sore muscles a well-deserved break, and Isabela was ready to spread beautiful plants all around the town as thanks.
Pepa was so happy to finally be out and be able to see a whole new world and not worry about anything for once and that alone had a brightly colored rainbow above her head; Félix was happy to see his wife happy as he carried his youngest son on his back trying to answer as many of the "what's that!" Questions the youngest asked, Antonio was intrigued and mesmerized by the new world he was being brought into, Delores was ready to hear all the juicy gossip she could from the new town to gossip with her mamá, Camilo was ready to pull his charm, and perform every night as him and not shift into anyone, and people would cheer not because he was a Madrigal but because he was talented.
And Bruno was happy to be with his family and not have to worry about a single vision ruining the vacation or anyone's day.
Upon arriving the Madrigals were greeted with smiles and warm welcomes, and the Kids were happy to play with Antonio!
The young ladies all welcome Delores, Isabela, and Luisa into their groups and being complementing each other's dresses, hair, and overall beauty.
Mirabel was being complimented on her talents by the town's seamstress, being invited to make a dress or two.
The Mothers and Fathers of the Family were encouraged to have a date night all to themselves as they don't get those often any more.
Bruno was talking to the mice in the town and introducing his little furry friends.
And Camilo well, while he is welcome to perform he has already gotten the attention of some girls in the town...
While Camilo was trying to get his act together and simultaneously hiding from the awestruck girls of the town he tripped over a small object.
Looking down at the small object it looked to be made of glass, small crystals, and flowers? Rested at the bottom of the oddly shaped glass trinket, the golden chain was what caught his foot.
Camilo lifted the trinket closer to his face before trying to rub some of the dirt off of the glass to get a better look at the object in his soft hands when it glowed and started to shake and in shock Camilo dropped it.
But a hand from someone who hadn't been there a moment before caught the glass trinket.
"Hello, finder!" A cheery voice calls to him and he looks into the colorful eyes of the magical stranger, "where did you come from?" He asks awkwardly still shocked at the fact someone other than his family had gifts.
"You called for me!" The stranger answered lifting their hand and gesturing to the odd object in their hand.
"You found my trinket and for that, you get 13 wishes! No more no less! So use them wisely and remember to be very careful with what you wish for!" The stranger advised the awestruck boy. All the information took Camilo a moment to take in and comprehend.
"Wait. So I get 13 wishes, and get to wish for whatever I want?" Camilo says his excitement about the situation he found himself in, thinking of all the arepas he could ask for.
"Well, there are a few... Restrictions I have put in place." The stranger plays with their fingers as they lean away from the boy. Before grabbing his Ruana and pulling him in close till they were face to face only a few inches away, "RULE NUMBER ONE!" the stranger exclaimed staring into his eyes "tell NO ONE! About the trinket and how you are currently the holder of it! Or how many wishes you have used!!" Camilo gulps as the stranger loosens their grip on him and pulls away slightly, "RULE NUMBER TWO!" The stranger's voice rises again, "I can't make anyone fall in love with anybody else"- the stranger poofs next to Camilo placing a loud kiss on his cheek- " just a little kissy there!" The stranger teased before the moved to grasp his shoulder, "oh, and I can't kill anybody or bring anyone back from the dead." The stranger just looks into his eyes with a big smile after saying that and it made Camilo shiver in slight fear.
Before breaking eye contact with Camilo, "but anything other than that, you got it." The stranger sighs, Camilo thinks for a moment looking around him and noticing it has gotten dark out Camilo decides to put the stranger to the test.
"Well, I don't know. Those rules seem to be pretty simple things and you can't even do that! I doubt you would even be able to bring me back to my mamí and Papí in the town over." He looks to his side in fake disinterest making the stranger glare at him, "oh you want proof? I'll give ya' proof pretty boy!!" And just like that Camilo was momentarily blinded by a light before he was in front of his family,
"How's THAT for proof!" The stranger yells in his face and Camilo hums "so about those 13 wishes?" Camilo asks ignoring his family that stood watching in confusion, "hmm? I'm sorry what was that? Does mine ears deceive me? 13? You are down to 12 BOY!"
"Ah! I never wished to be back with my familia you did that all on your own for me!" Camilo smirked.
The stranger paused...
"Well, don't I feel sheepish..." The stranger shies away from the Smug boy, "fine I will take the blame for that one, you bad boy! But no. More. Freebies!"
Camilo thinks for a moment, "deal."

His family who had just witnessed this stranger just poof into existence along with the boy they had been looking for to say they were shocked was an understatement.
And after a long explanation, they had many questions for the stranger.
~🕯☀🐀🍘💬🐝👂🦎🐆🌷💪🏼🦋~
It had been a few days and you and Camilo had only gotten closer, especially after a certain talk you both had late one night...
"Man only three wishes left, wish I hadn't spent most of 'em of food..." Camilo hints at the stranger, "nice try, but not takebacks for wishes."
Camilo snaps his fingers with an exaggerated huff "worth a shot." You and Camilo look up at the night sky, he would be going home soon and he wanted to make his last wishes good.
"What would you wish for?" Camilo asks...you pause no one had ever asked you that before you were genuinely stumped...
"Umm, maybe to be able to make wishes for me..."
Camilo looks at you, "what do you mean?"
"Well, I can't make wishes for me. Like wishes that would benefit me in any way. I'm just forever meant to do what the finder wants me to, no matter how I feel about it. To be able to say no, or make my own wishes come true... That would be what I would wish for..."
Camilo looks at you with stars in his eyes, watching you at that moment. Seeing you so passionate about what you want, made his heart skip a beat.
Camilo smiled, and he scooted himself to you; he knew what his very last wish was going to be for sure... No matter what.

Pepa sighs as she holds up one of Julieta’s arepas. “Ay, Camilo. Deja de ser tan terco. (Ay, Camilo. Stop being so stubborn.)” Camilo shakes his head. “You said there’s a first for everything.”
Pepa rolls her eyes. “Not for stuff like this! You need to eat your tia’s food to feel better. Y/N’s worried about you.” Camilo’s eyes light up. “Where is she?” Pepa answers him, “She’s just outside your room.”
“Tell her to come in!”
The door swings open and Y/N enters, holding a sunflower with its stem slightly cut at a length appropriate to tuck a flower in one's ear. “Hola… didn’t know what to bring because I assumed you’d already eaten one of your Tia Julieta’s arepas.” Pepa clicks her tongue. “Even soy novia wants you to get better already!”
Camilo stays quiet for a minute, his eyes widen as if a light bulb appeared above him and then he talks, “What if she takes care of me?” Pepa furrows her eyebrows and it starts to get windy in Camilo’s room. “¿Quieres que ella haga de 'doctor' para ti? Dios, ¿así es el amor en estos días? (You want her to play 'doctor' for you? God, is this what love is these days?)”
Julieta walks in Camilo’s room, overhearing the conversation and taking any opportunity to tease her hermanita. “Atrevido de tu parte hablar así del amor juvenil como si no hicieras lo mismo con Félix cuando éramos más jóvenes. (Bold of you to talk about young love like that as if you didn't do the same with Félix when we were younger.)”
Pepa’s cheeks turn red as she glares at her sister, the wind in Camilo’s room is getting stronger. “¿Qué estás haciendo aquí? ¿No tienes comida para hacer? (What are you doing here? Don't you have food to make?)” Julieta winks at her. “Estoy tomando un descanso del trabajo. (I’m taking a break from work.)”
Julieta turns to Camilo. “I heard you want Y/N to take care of you.” He nods. Y/N takes a quick breath before talking, “It’s fine with me. I think it’d be fun actually.” Julieta smiles at them. The wind in Camilo’s room starts to die down as Pepa takes deep breaths. “It’s okay too, si estoy siendo honest. (if I’m being honest.) You just didn’t have to be so stubborn a minute ago if all you wanted was to be spoiled by soy novia.”
“Mami!” Camilo tries to stop the blood rushing to his face and fails. Pepa grins. “I’m not wrong, am I?” He reluctantly shakes his head. Y/N smiles and tucks the flower in Camilo’s ear. “It’s okay, it’ll only take a few days since it looks like Camilo only has a small fever.”
Julieta crosses her arms with a nod. “Si. It’s worse than the other things I’ve seen that needed to be healed. Por ejemplo, las picaduras de abeja de mi marido. (For example, my husband's bee stings.)” A smile makes its way to her face as she recalls Agustín’s multiple encounters with bees.
Pepa sighs as she turns to Y/N with worry on her face. “What if you get sick too and both of your conditions get worse?” Julieta answers for the young couple, “I’ll give them both something to eat. Don’t worry, Pepa. We’re here to take care of them from afar.”
Y/N quietly calls for Julieta and Pepa. “Hola… is it okay if I spend the night here while I’m taking care of Camilo?” They both nod in response. Pepa adds on, “We’ll tell your family all about it, I’m sure they’ll understand.”
“¡Ay, muchas gracias!”
Pepa pats Y/N on the shoulder. “It’s nothing. Thank you for taking care of my son.” Y/N smiles at Julieta and Pepa as the two walk out and hears them whispering to each other.
“Your son has a nice girlfriend, doesn’t he?”
“Si. Ella y Camilo son una pareja hecha en el cielo. (She and Camilo are a match made in heaven.)”
Y/N leans on the door after closing it, heat rushing to her face. She smiles to herself as she not-so-discreetly repeats Pepa’s statement about her and Camilo, “She said we’re a match made in heaven. Oh my God, I think I’m going to catch a fever too.”
…Y/N wasn’t so discreet about her excitement.
“Mami’s right, you know?” Camilo approaches Y/N and pinches her face. Y/N notices how the corners of his eyes wrinkle up as Camilo smiles. Her eyes widen in realisation and she quickly places her hand over her mouth, covering her whole face shortly after. “Was I too loud?”
Camilo shakes his head, a different smile tugs at his lips, this one’s playful, it’s teasing her, and it brings butterflies to Y/N’s stomach; different to the soft and affectionate one her boyfriend wore earlier– but nonetheless brought butterflies to her stomach.
Camilo plays with Y/N’s hair while talking, “You weren’t too loud, but I heard you. We are a perfect match.” He removes the flower she gave him earlier and admires it, twirling it in his hand.
Camilo clicks his tongue before talking, “Okay, maybe you were kind of loud. Well, I don’t know, I was able to hear it…” He clears his throat before transforming into Y/N. He mimics the way she repeated his mother’s statement with an exaggerated sigh, “She said we’re a match made in heaven.”
The shapeshifter tucks the flower in Y/N’s hair, “Now you be me. Pretend I’m sick.”
She nods and starts coughing. “Woe is me. I don’t want to eat free food because I want my girlfriend to take care of me.”
Camilo turns back into himself and furrows his eyebrows, placing his hands on his waist. “I don’t sound like that.”
Y/N does the same and mocks his voice, “I don’t sound like that.”
Camilo rolls his eyes before he and Y/N burst out laughing as they make eye contact.
“Are you sure you’re sick?” Camilo nods. “Check the forehead.” Y/N raises her eyebrows before placing the back of her hand on Camilo’s forehead. “Dios mío, ¿cómo sigues siendo tan enérgico? (Dios mio, how are you still so energetic?)” He rapidly shapeshifts into multiple people in between words, his father first, “I,” then Antonio, “don’t,” and his sister last, “know!”, before turning back into himself.
Y/N sighs. “Okay, now what? I don’t think you’re allowed to go out or to do any strenuous activities…”
Camilo groans. “Bed rest? That sucks.” Y/N shrugs. “You need it. Plus, there’s tons of indoor activities we could do that I’m pretty su–” her sentence is interrupted, “I’d enjoy doing anything as long as it’s with you.” Camilo smiles at Y/N.
The girl stands still, and speechless. “I was… I was going to suggest we paint the view from here…” Camilo smiles smugly and says, “Then get ready to see your face painted by a master artist.” He winks after. Y/N stares at him in disbelief. “Whatever! I’ll ask Dolores for her painting materials.” She walks away from Camilo’s room and makes her way to Dolores’s room.
Y/N taps the door three times with one finger. “Dolores?” She whispers, “I’m not sure if you’ve heard but, I was thinking that Camilo and I could borrow painting materials to… paint?” She doesn’t hear much from the other side of the door, but she’s sure that Dolores is gathering stuff for Y/N and Camilo to use.
Y/N’s right. The door opens and Dolores hands a bag of painting supplies to Y/N. “Enjoy, you two.” Y/N smiles at Dolores and replies, “We will. Gracias again to your family for letting me stay.”
Dolores chuckles. “It’s nothing. You’re part of the family now.” Y/N physically stops herself from squealing. She takes a deep breath. “Thank you.”
Y/N gradually dashes to Camilo’s room. She opens the door and quickly closes it. “Are you ready to paint?” Camilo nods. “Anything to do until you’re better.” Y/N kisses Camilo on the cheek. The two sit on the floor, cross-legged.
Y/N takes out the contents of the bag excitedly. “I’m going to paint flowers. Like the one Isabela makes.” Camilo smiles and looks for paintbrushes he could use. “Nice. And I’m going to make my favourite flower.”
Y/N’s raises an eyebrow, “What’s your favourite flower?” Camilo caresses her hair, and the flower tucked in her ear. “You.”

"I'm not coming to dinner tonight."
Bruno Madrigal x Chubby!Fem!Reader
Request from @bloody-bunni666
MINORS DNI!!!! 18+ ONLY!!!!
Word Count: 1.5k
Warnings: Sliiiiiiight breeding kink. Like if you squint lmao. This is very SFW though, nothing graphic.
A/N: This is literally the first fic I’ve ever posted on tumblr. Please be nice >.<
Bruno was sweating bullets, tugging at the collar of his brown shirt as he descended the steps from his tower. It was almost dinner time for the Madrigals, and he was about to announce his absence from the daily family event.
He had only recently rejoined his family after years of isolation, years of sitting in the walls of La Casita watching his sisters raise their children and his mother growing older. At last, he was finally welcomed back and as he entered the dining room, he saw a plate with his name on it already set in front of his seat.
Dolores was already seated, laughing as she watched Camilo shifting his physical form between himself and Alma for her amusement. Julieta and Mirabel were running frantically between the kitchen and the dining room, bringing with them a new plate or pan or bowl with the family’s dinner. Bruno giggled to himself, admiring how his niblings had grown, taking after his sisters’ respective quirky natures. It was going to be hard to excuse himself from dinner.
Alma walked in carrying Bruno’s favorite tamales, followed by his brothers-in-law. Now was as good a time as any.
“Mama,” Bruno said just above a whisper.
“Hm?’ she said, setting down her baking dish without looking up.
Bruno took a breath and let it out.
“I’m not coming to dinner tonight.”
The entire room stopped what they were doing and stared at Bruno wide-eyed. All except for Félix and Dolores, who smiled at each other with a knowing look.
“What?” Alma asked in complete shock.
“I’m not joining the family for dinner tonight. I, uh, I have plans – dinner plans – with someone,” he replied, punctuating his sentence with a nervous laugh.
Alma looked taken aback. She loved and missed her son dearly, despite years of refusing to say his name. She unsuccessfully tried to hide her disappointment while fiddling with the placement of her cutlery.
“I see,” she said, “and who will you be joining for dinner this evening?”
Bruno was flustered and struggled to answer. Félix, however, was happy to help.
“He’s going on a date with the thick mamí that lives next to the bakery.”
The room erupted into whistles and teasing bouts of “Oyeee!” while Bruno tried to hide his face in his ruana.
“Es el tomando mi pelo? I didn’t hear about that!” chimed Dolores. She’s lying, of course; she hears everything.
Alma was unamused. She sat down in her chair and magically whisked Bruno’s chair away from the table with a flick of her wrist. The teasing banter settled down and Bruno came out from his poncho.
“You will be missed, mi hijo,” she said.
“Sorry, mama,” Bruno said.
***
Bruno made his way to your house, so nervous that he forgot to ask Isabela to make a bouquet for you. He didn’t want to show up empty-handed, so he ran into the bakery and got some pandebono, hoping it meshed well with whatever you were cooking.
He finally arrived at your door and knocked three times, whispering to himself, “Knock, knock, knock on wood.”
You answered the door wearing a flour-dusted apron that you felt did not flatter your body. You stared wide-eyed at your crush who was smiling and nervously holding up a bag of bread.
“Bruno!” you blurted out. “I wasn’t expecting you – uh, how are you?” You took the bread from his hands.
Bruno frowned. Did you forget about their date?
He looked down to meet your eyes and mustered up the courage to speak.
“I’m good, yeah, yeah, I’m good. It’s just we had a da- I mean, you invited me to dinner. It’s seven o’clock, haha.” He wanted to curl up and die.
“Oh, Bruno,” you said with a small laugh, “dinner’s tomorrow. I’m preparing everything now.”
Bruno couldn’t possibly be redder. He didn’t know what to say.
Above, the clouds rapidly began to cover the sun and sky, a few drops beginning to fall.
“Oh, it’s raining! Hurry, come inside!” you said, pulling Bruno in by his free hand. He nearly tumbled over, but you were quick to catch his scrawny frame with your broader body. You helped him get to his feet, smiling ear to ear at his embarrassed face.
You turned to grab some water and a plate for him since he’d already made the trip over here.
He couldn’t help but admire how beautiful you looked, despite your messy hair and disheveled clothing. Your apron was tied tight around your plump figure and Bruno could see every roll and curve of your body. He knew he probably shouldn’t be undressing you with his eyes right in front of you, but you just looked so delectable and somehow, so motherly.
“She would be such a good mamí,” he thought, quickly shaking the notion from his head so you wouldn’t notice him lusting after you.
You turned around again to face Bruno and nudged your head to the side, signally him to follow you. You led him to your small dining area and placed down a plate of the bread he brought with a glass of water.
“I’m sorry I don’t have much for you now,” you said bashfully.
“No, no! My fault…I probably should’ve looked at a calendar, ha,” said Bruno.
“Well regardless, I’m glad for the company,” you said smiling. You walked back to the kitchen to continue getting ready for the large dinner you planned for the both of you. Lord knows that poor boy needs to eat.
“How is tu familia, Bruno?” you called from the kitchen.
In the seconds since you left him, he had stuffed two balls of bread in his mouth and was working on a third. He panicked for a moment trying to respond you, causing him to choke.
“Bruno?” you called out to him again. There was no answer.
You wiped your hands clean and rounded to corner to check on him and saw as he beat his chest with a closed fist. His face was beginning to turn blue, and his eyes could practically pop out of his head from how wide they were.
You ran to his side, unsure of how to help. You tried to give him a rough couple of pats on his back, but he continued to choke. He looked so scared, and you began to cry from the fear of losing him.
“What do I do, what do I do?” you tried to ask him.
Bruno grabbed at your hands, turned around, and drew your arms around his waist so that his back was flush against your torso. He tried to cross your hands over his stomach, and you quickly got the message. You began squeezing his tiny body in short spurts, eventually dislodging the bread from his throat.
Bruno fell to his hands and knees, coughing and struggling to breathe. You took the glass of water from the table and knelt next to him, offering the cup. He put a hand up, letting you know that he was okay, and pulled himself up on feet using the table for leverage.
He swayed and brought a hand up to touch his head.
“Ay, I’m dizzy,” he said.
You snaked your arm around his and led him to your bedroom to let him rest.
***
Around two hours later, when you had finished preparations for tomorrow’s meal, you took off your apron and went back to your room to check on Bruno. He was lying awake and had the hood of his ruana up, covering the majority of his face.
You gently rapped on your open bedroom door, leaning against the doorframe.
“Knock, knock,” you said.
Bruno pulled his hood further over his face and mumbled a soft, “I’m sorry,” into the fabric.
You walked into the room and joined him on the bed, awkwardly sliding your body behind him, and wrapping an arm around his waist.
“You know you have nothing to be sorry for, right? Accidents happen, amor,” you whispered to him.
“Bruno is stupid,” he said.
You huffed a small laugh and slid your fingers up and down his chest.
“Why is Bruno stupid, Hernando?” You played along with his little act. Bruno loved to bring out Hernando when he was ashamed.
“He ruins everything,” he responded.
“Bruno didn’t ruin anything. Like I said, accidents happen,” you said, sighing a little. “I was so worried about you.”
You could feel Bruno’s heart thumping hard from under his clothes. You knew Bruno liked you, but you were waiting until he was comfortable enough around you to make your move. You planned to confess your feelings to him at dinner.
“Did I ruin it?” Bruno asked all of sudden. You looked at him confused.
“Ruin what, Hernando?”
Bruno pulled off his hood and sighed.
“Did I ruin my chance with you?”
You could cry, he was so sweet.
“No, but you sure know how to keep a girl waiting, amor.”
Bruno shuffled around to face you without you having to move the arm that encircled his waist. He was trying to be brave for you.
“I think you’re beautiful, (y/n),” he said.
You couldn’t think of anything to do or say but kiss him. His lips were soft, warm, and plush against yours. You closed your eyes tight, enjoying the passion between you two, but you could tell Bruno’s eyes were wide open from the green light somehow penetrating your eyelids.
You pulled back, opening your eyes as the green light vanished from his.
“I think you’re beautiful too.”

Uhh hi I don't know if your requests are still open if not thats ok but I was wondering if you could write about the madrigal family adopting child y/n and how they would react to the reader calling (any of your pick)them mom,dad ect.. you don't have to do this if your uncomfortable with it just want to ask. But anyways hope you are having a great day or night and love your writing btw!(srry for my bad typing!)
Mami: Pepa x Fem Reader (platonic)
Summary: You finally call Pepa, Mami after being her daughter for a few years...
Genre: Fluff!
Notes: I'm sorry this took so long! My motivation to write is still there, it has just died down a bit.
Warnings: happy tears from Pepa, really angsty backstory because I can't write pure sugar like this,
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You sat up straight in your bed, a cool sweat running down your face. It was another nightmare from before. Before the Madrigals, namely Pepa and Félix, had taken you in. Dolores had heard what was happening to you at your house and told her family. They came to your home, and whisked you away and now, you were a Madrigal.
You had a gift and everything. You could teleport, which made your new older brother Camilo very interested in doing stuff with you. Namely, pranks and stealing food and playing jokes on people.
Even though you were young when the Madrigals saved you, you still had scars, mental and physical, from when you lived with your father. He would come home drunk and irritated which did not bode well for you.
Your nightmares brought you back to those years that you tried so desperately to block out. You wiped the sweat from your face and sat on the edge of your bed. You teleported into the bathroom and splashed some water in your face.
"You're alright. You're not there anymore. You have a family that cares about you now."
Your words to yourself helped, but they couldn't drive away the ever-persistent thoughts in your head.
But what if they don't? What if they just barely tolerate me and took out of pity? Do they even do that or are they just waiting for me to move out?
You heard a knock at the door and a familiar voice.
"Y/N? Are you alright in there? I heard the sink going and you're the only other one awake?"
It was Pepa. You could tell from the water seeping under the door and into the bathroom that she was drizzling.
"Yeah, Pepi. I'm alright. I just had a nightmare."
Your voice was shaky and you were honestly on the verge of tears at this point. With the combination of your nightmare and Pepa coming to check on you, it was too much.
"Another one? That's the third one this week. Are you sure you're alright, mija?"
You broke down and opened the door to see Pepa in her nightgown, her braided, red hair wet from the cloud over her head. She took one look at your face and immediately pulled you into a hug. You hugged her back, not caring about the drizzling cloud that hung over your heads. Your head fit into the crook of her neck and you sobbed into her shoulder until you were able to speak coherent sentences.
"I'm sorry, Mami. I didn't mean to wake you up. I got your dress all wet too."
You mumbled quietly, and for a moment of shocked silence, you thought Pepa didn't hear you. She grabbed you by the shoulders and locked eyes with you.
"Did you just call me Mami?"
There were tears in Pepa's eyes and you immediately went to apologize.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have-"
Pepa pulled you into an even tighter hug.
"I've been wanting you to call me that for years. Oh, and don't worry about the dress. It was wet anyway."
You could hear the small, lilting laugh in her voice.
"You're not mad?"
"Why in the world would I be mad, mija?"
"I'm not Dolores, Camilo, or Antonio. I don't belong here."
"Of course you do. You are my mija, even if you are of different blood. I still love you just as much as I love them."
"Really?"
"Really."
That's Not Possible
Part Two - What Did I Say?
Pairing with Aged-up with Carlos Madrigal x Female Reader
Check the previous and next part in this Masterlist
Tumblr media
You woke up with a massive hangover headache, sensitive to everything. How much did I drink last night? You blinked your reality back after the blurry senses, seeing you're not in your room and surrounded by different sleeping people. Where am I?
A knock triggered your headache, the door soon opened with a human in dress...oh wait a girl...with a...cloud on her head? Jeez am I still dreaming?
"Oh dear, did I wake you up?" The woman spoke, with a familiar tone...oh it's Pepa!
"Señora! Nononono-" you yawned, "- you didn't woke me up" you spoke as you yawned.
"¿Estás bien? Mi hermana is in the kitchen curing some hangovers" Pepa guided you to stand up and lead you to the door.
After exiting the door, you turned to see whose room were you in, your half lided eyes, widened in shock, seeing Carlos's name on it. You turned your head towards your path and glanced to Pepa on your side, she looked normal, nothing new or less. Why was she not reacting about you waking up in his- ow!
Alright enough thinking for now, you were getting light headed in each step, if it wasn't for Pepa you'd be crawling on the floor right now.
"Y/n's awake!" You heared Pepa spoke, waking you up from your quick sleep walking.
"She looks so busted" Mirabel laughed while you shake your head at her.
"Here eat this, this cures faster than the others" Julieta handed you a weird shaped arepa, probably not an arepa from the taste after you took a bite.
You sat beside Mirabel as you chewed on your food with your head down. Your senses were becoming clear and back to normal, you glanced around the room and saw the other grandkids eating their breakfasts.
"Feeling better?" Someone surprisingly spoke from behind you.
"I guess still not" Carlos sipped on his coffee that he made few minutes before you and his mami arrived in the kitchen.
Your eyes twinkled in the sight of him, so this is how he looks like every morning...wait what?
"Sí, mañana" You greeted him, shaking off the thought you just had right now.
"You slept in my room" Carlos spoke causing every chattering in the room to halt. Carlos froze, sensing the stares he was recieving.
"What?" He asked everyone.
"I'm sorry I slept in, I didn't- I don't remember anything from last night" You apologized for over staying.
"Oh but I do remember a lot, specifically from Carlos" Dolores grinned before she took a bite of her food to avoid future questions for her.
"What's with me?" Carlos raised his brows at his hermana. "What did I say?"
"Oh nothing, just something really important" Dolores responded to him, taking another bite.
"Mami! Carlos kicked me!" Dolores loudly complained, rubbing her shin.
"Carlos, leave your sister be" Félix scolded his son.
"I must go now, mi familia must be looking for me at this kind of time I-"
"They left off to go somewhere, dear, didn't they tell you?" Julieta reminded you, right, their business outside Encanto.
"Stay for breakfast Y/n, Carlos made them" Dolores offered you a plate as you gladly accepted it.
Camilo raised his hand. "It's actually me who made it" He told you.
"Hm? Ohhh, how would I know? You're wearing Carlos's ruana right now" Dolores told Camilo.
"Am I?" Camilo asked, looking down on his clothes. "Yeah I am"
"Mi familia!" Abuela Alma greeted with a wide smile.
"A beautiful day is waiting ahead of us, along with your chores that you all should be doing in ten minutes" Abuela clapped her hands. "Let's go, let's go" she chanted before exiting the room.
The grandchildrens stood up and fixed their plates while you were still in the midst of your eating.
"I'll stay with Y/n for a while" Carlos told his primas when they asked him to go with them already.
"Okay" They replied before proceeding their ways.
"Don't be fluttered, I'm just avoiding my chores" Carlos told you once his family were now away.
"Nah, that's not enough to make me fluttered" You told him, drinking the beverage Julieta had offered.
"Then what makes you fluttered, Y/n?" Carlos placed down his cup and amusingly smirked at you.
"That's none your business, Carlos" You placed down your drink and broke the eye contact with him.
"I'll make that my business" Carlos smirked again before standing up and getting your plate to give it to casita who was washing the dishes.
Carlos leaned behind the counter, seeing you get up from your sit.
"What's your plans today, señorita?"
"None" You simply told him, placing back the chairs.
"What do you mean by none?" He asked.
"It's my break"
"Then what are gonna do then?" He continued his unintentionally consecutive questions.
"II would just stand here and answer your questions until you'll ran out" You faked your smile but was secretly enjoying his questions about you.
"I'll never ran out of questions though, señorita" He leaned forward on the edge of the table where you were standing near on.
"Bring them on then, señorito" You mirrored him, leaning into the corner he is in.
The two of you had an eye contact for a long while, both not wanting to be defeated.
"As how entertaining it is to watch the both of you staring at each other lovingly-" Someone spoke from the doorway.
"Carlos needs to do his chores with us" Camilo continued Mirabel's words.
Carlos leaned back, rolling his eyes before heading to the doorway. "See you later, señorita" Carlos winked at you before he disappeared out off your sight.
You stood alone in the kitchen alone, looking around and only seeing casita doing it's chores, you walked out of the casa and headed on your way.
"Now where will he meet me later?"
can you do a camilo x reader (fem or if you’re more comfortable using gn that’s perfectly fine) where instead of the reader and pepa bonding it’s the reader and felìx and they have that father-daughter best friend relationship? if you don’t feel like doing this i totally understand. i hope you’re having an amazing day/night <3
Omg I’ve been wanting to write this for so long nonnie tysm for the request ! <333
Tumblr media
Félix pretty much adopts you
Camilo doesn’t mind of course
But sometimes he gets a bit bored while you two stand there taking for 20 minutes straight
Félix gets you gifts too!
Depending on what you like he’ll get you different things
Like if you love jewelry he’ll get you necklaces sometimes
He’s super happy that Camilo found you
He probably asked why you would want to date Camilo
It was a joke of course
But he was actually kind of curious
Camilo got embarrassed when you told him about it
Afterwards he asked Félix and he found it hilarious
“Dad why did you ask her that you embarrassed me (・・;)”
“SHE TOLD YOU?”
Then Félix busted out laughing
As Camilo ran off in embarrassment
You come with Félix when he does chores sometimes too
But you two just end up goofing off so Alma says you can’t go with him anymore
You still do though
Most of the town views you as a madrigal already
One time when you, Camilo, and Félix were in town this interaction happened,
“Oh, if it isn’t [name] Madrigal Haha!”
-quote from a random person in town
You blushed a bunch
But Camilo was super happy and nodded
Félix laughed a bit at Camilo but nodded too
———
I want Félix to adopt me tbh★彡Anyway I loved writing this sm
Requests are open!
Yandere Poly Pepa and Félix
Requested by @ynfromencanto2430
You used to say your wedding day was amazing despite the hurricane, you used to be able to say you loved Pepa and Félix with all your heart but they’ve slowly been turning more and more controlling towards you. Only letting you wear the clothes they want, not being able to be out of their sight, not being allowed to hang with old friends, etc. At first you didn’t really care, maybe they were just jealous and you found that cute but it slowly became annoying and bugged you to no end.
So when you brought up you wanted a break, or maybe even a divorce, you had quickly regretted it as you had been struck by lightning and then later trapped inside of your guys room for a few weeks before they allowed you to stick by their side whenever outside.
It took a few weeks for the family to realize that you weren’t there willingly anymore, but no one dared to bring it up with Pepa or Félix around. So they silently hinted at it, and would make silent promises to help you, but it was hard. Pepa and Félix were always by your side no matter what.
So a few of the Grandkids came up with a plan. While you were possibly using the bathroom or getting changed, Camilo would shift into you and pretend to be you long enough for you to leave Encanto, while Dolores would keep an ear out for them. Mirabel and Antonio were trying to map out a safe place for you to travel too. But sadly all that planning went to waste, Pepa had asked her brother to do a vision for her, and knew exactly what was going to happen. She thanked him, and prepared for that day they had planned on helping you.
Once that day came and the plan got ruined, the kids got scolded while you found yourself tied to a chair, shaking in fear. You had no clue of the plan, so you had no clue as to why Pepa and Félix were angry.
Pepa shouted at you for a bit before Félix had calmed her down, saying soothing words in her ear before turning his attention back to you. He had told you that if you planned on ever leaving, Pepa would destroy the whole town in a single hurricane if needed.
You agreed to stay, too scared and confused to ask what had made them think you thought you to escape.
You had already accepted that you could never leave the first time Pepa hit you with lightning.
so… my graduation is coming in like 3 weeks, I’m on the brink of a burnout, so here’s a drawing I made of my re-imagined Encanto oc. It’s more of a concept, kinda leaning towards reader insert, but I like it.
Okay okay so hear me out but imagine Pepa developing a crush on someone in town much younger than her, Felix finds out but is quite fond of them himself and so encourages her to pursue them. Reader has grown close to both of them but is a bit surprised and... not quite as enthusiast about suddenly becoming their unwitting third wheel. [1/2]
Because of Pepa's gift though Reader is reluctant to explicitly reject the couple and so they tiptoe around the subject hoping they'll eventually lose interest and move on except, well, that never happens and now Reader's in deep shit because the couple have gotten really attached and even the family knows about Reader. [2/3]
I'm imagining it'd probably be a bit more of a dark and unhealthy yandere or adjacent sort of situation than anything closer to canon obviously but I can't stop thinking about it... [3/3]
cw: yandere
Félix and Pepa just have such a good relationship with great communication that not even something like this can throw a wrench in it :’)
Pepa can’t exactly hide how much she likes you- She’s all sunshine and rainbows whenever you enter the room! But you’ve always seen her as just a friend. Considering the age difference, maybe even a more familial dynamic. The idea she might be interested in you doesn’t occur to you for ages. Her touchiness (an arm around your waist, a kiss on your cheek, hands carefully wiping your face clean after she drizzled on you), is just a part of her you accept. In doing so, you’ve made her confident enough to push further little by little, encouraged by her husband. A line is crossed when she eventually kisses you on the lips, and you’re doused in rain as you don’t kiss back.
Half of the town’s crops are ruined after the storm she’s caused, and you know denying her again could have even more terrible consequences.
When you bring up your concerns up to Félix, since maybe he’d like to know about his wife’s behaviour, he brushes you off so completely it leaves you doubting your own senses. He’s always laidback about everything, but you hadn’t expected it to extend to this. Maybe you really were making a big deal out of nothing, then? Was it all just a misunderstanding? But you can’t shake the discomfort that has settled in your gut. With your age, you could’ve easily been a child of theirs, and well... Félix is basically implying just to go with it.
You’ve become too nervous to deny them, leaving you in a position you never wanted to be in: As a partner to both of them. You simply didn’t see them in that way! But you end up going out to dinner with them, smiling through compliments and advances. Pepa and Félix are much more openly affectionate with each other still though, but it always ends up with you getting attention from both of them as well, since they don’t want you to feel left out. With how much time you’re spending at the Casa Madrigal, you’re basically a part of the family now. You can’t exactly leave. They insist their children call you their ‘tío/tía’.*
Pepa gets nervous without both you and her husband around, and Félix simply has so much love to give! It’d really be quite nice if you actually returned their feelings :’)
* = I know a lot of the content on my blog has an incesty vibe, but that’s not really what I’m going for here. My idea was: Because of the church, there’s clearly a catholic presence in the Encanto, and I’ll assume most of the population is religious. (Maybe even the Madrigals themselves?) So having multiple partners (even moreso when you’re already married) would be reallyyyy frowned upon. That’s just the closest title, one of family, they can give you without basically confirming their actual feelings for you lmao.
