The thing I love about Fabian as a character is that he is currently living the life that people write Sad Steve Harrington fics about but we will never get to see the intense angst scenes in those fics because he’s being played by the worlds most committed to the bit comedian so instead of ever unpacking any of that he eats animals organs raw.

Thinking about fabian coming home after The Last Stand in the middle of the night.

thinking about fabian, exhausted, even more traumatized, fresh scars from a harrowing battle. his body aches. hes dehydrated and angry and sad and scared because he is a teenager. His classmate got murdered in front of them.

The other bad kids come home to their parents and family. theyre greeted with love and fuss and worried looks. a warm meal, hugs, love.

Thinking about how theres no one there to comfort him.

Thinking about his giant, messy, cold house that hasnt felt like home in months.

theres no one to vent to about the horrors he saw, no one to brag to about how he aced the test with his friends and were the first to beat the Last Stand.

no one to tell him theyre proud of him, or how he did such a good job. no one to congratulate him on acing his sophmore year. no one to fuss over him, ask if hes ok, make him a warm homemade meal and tuck him in to bed again like when he was a kid.

theres no one.

he gets a glass of milk and falls asleep in his parents bed thats slowly losing their smell.

thinking about kristen holding buddy dawn in her lap and trying to revive him while all the bad kids scramble to find something — anything — that would fix it, the thought that two years ago this was her hangs in the air and none of them can get rid of it, but they can try to help. kristen cries and the six of them all sit in the living room of mordred manor, pretending to sleep ok the couches but awake so long their eyes hurt and noses burn, holding hands tight andnsteadfast under the blankets.

Not too much to be conspiratorial about this past week. Obviously Kipperfuck killing Buddy is huge, but that seemed cut and dry, especially after the adventuring party. The only part that is up in the air is how much Oisin is involved. I did see a theory that he was trying to bring her back once he found out she was trying to fuck the bad kids over and it was wrong place wrong time. I think he’s in on it though. We all love and want Oisin to be good, but I think he’s in on it.

Fabian picked up his sword again to save Adaine, Fig was willing to burn their only proof of Kalina and risk failing the year if it meant Riz wouldn't be sad, the first thing that Kristen ever does at Aguefort is to ask Gorgug if he's okay. Maybe they aren't getting special treatment that Kipperlilly has to put an end to, maybe they have just never seen each other as dispensible.
