(as far as I can tell you play as an agent who maintains a secret superhero base for riders in the basement of the rider-themed cafe that you run with your butler, and there's some other plot stuff going on but honestly I'm way past sold at this point, this sounds amazing)

I'm so proud of him! Having the role of leader thrust upon you, and stepping into it full force is hugely admirable. It would be completely natural to feel intimidated by all these older, more experienced artists in his group. But despite being a self-confessed introvert, Jeff is leading with a clear voice and vision of what he would like his team to achieve. It's a huge advantage that he's a strong all-rounder, which means he can provide a pretty informed opinion on most aspects of performance.

Default Skin Sets!

Two default skins sets using @withlovefromsimtown's excellent Birthday Suit set.

@isimchi posted about the lack of options for players who want darker default skin sets, so I was like 'defaults? that's my one skill!' offered to make some, and we came up with these. :) There's also a slightly edited version of the 1.00 skin available as custom, so read on.

Set one uses 0.40, 0.60, and 0.70 skins for S1, 2, and 3 defaults and is intended to be used with Lifa's S4 default from the original post. Lifa's S4 file is not included! Go download their original sets, what are you waiting for? There's loads of cool add-ons! Like freckles! And nose masks!

Set two uses 0.50, 0.70, 0.80, and 1.00 for S1, 2, 3, and 4 defaults.

The 1.00 S4 default comes in two versions, Lifa's original and a version I edited to add a small amount of highlighting to the face. It's verrrry subtle:

A custom version is included; it's completely standalone, so you can have both the original and my edit in your game, and includes a custom icon and tooltip to differentiate it.

Following Lifa's example, the files are not compressed. Proper swatches in the download. Enjoy, feel free to mix and match sets, etc!

Disco Elysium Gothic and Lolita Tea Party Part 1: Klaasje and The Smoker LET'S GO BABYYYY!!!

I saw people doing EXCELLENT drawings of Harry Du Bois in lolita dresses and I'm obsessed! But why should he be the only one who partakes? What if EVERYONE gets a makeover and they have a big TEA PARTY!

My desk is now COVERED in Gothic and Lolita Bibles. No one is safe. Things are about to get FRILLY and FABULOUS. I did Klassje and The Smoker first at a request from my friend but I have sketched out many more already 3:)

Um. Thought of something. Danger days hunger games au. Because the similarities. Between battery city and the capitol. Between better living/the director and Snow. It’s so feasible hhngnshfh god I’m having so many thoughts I’m already in deep with the tma au I can’t do this too oml. God but what if it’s funkobra. And the way they win is mutually assured destruction. Also Kobra volunteered as tribute in place of poison because he knew he had better chances that’s he’s a better fighter/hunter. But poisons like NO youre my little brother you’re a kid they can’t. And they were about to volunteer if Kobras name was drawn. And they hate eachother for the sacrifices they would of and in Kobra’s case, have made. They hate eachother but they’re terrified. Poison thinks their little brother is going to die. Ohh wait.. oh what if they. What if they like join some rebellion early or something like with the intent to like break into the games and rescue Kobra? but they just get themself in danger. But that’s how they meet Jet, through whatever. Meanwhile Kobra’s doing fine, mostly, and he wins(and so does ghoul(but also, or maybe ghoul like fakes his death. Like he’s got his radiation thing or a deal with the witch and he just comes back?? Hhh), but Kobra wins and goes home just to find that his brother is gone, nowhere to be found, but undeniable in trouble. UGH. Fine. Time to brainstorm. who wants to hear about this one

Another Final Fantasy IV thought

When Rosa came searching for Cecil after the Mist incident, she mentions that she had been told that Cecil had died in the earthquake, but she refused to believe it. What's interesting is that she doesn't mention who she got that information from. Because there's really only one person who could have told her.

Kain was there - he's an eyewitness. Any information that wasn't straight from him would have been nothing but a rumor. (And besides, I can't imagine Rosa hearing this as a rumor and not talking to Kain about it!)

Golbez has to have gotten to Kain before he returned to the castle, because even if Kain might have reported Cecil dead either way, he would have said a lot more than that to Rosa in particular if he'd been himself. I'm sure he would have told Rosa what happened and tried to escape from Baron with her, honoring the promise he made with Cecil.

But this makes it very likely that a) Rosa talked to brainwashed!Kain, and b) she didn't notice anything off.

I can't imagine he was a very good actor, but I can imagine that any oddness in how Kain acted would have been interpreted as grief by Rosa. Especially since she must have been very upset herself, so probably not looking too closely.

Did she ask him to come with her? What would she make of his refusal? Did she ever say anything about Kain to Cecil? It seems like she should have, but is there anything she could have said that wouldn't make him worry? Especially since he's had Baron soldiers coming after him - he knows the leaders in Baron know he's still alive.

Alas, it was probably for the best that she didn't notice anything obviously off about Kain. If she had noticed, and tried to confront him about it? Things might have been a lot harder if she'd been taken hostage before she even had a chance to meet up with Cecil.
