Yesterday was the most beautifully sunny spring day, which is both a blessing and a curse. It was a glorious day to be outside hiking, but the sunlight was really much too harsh to get many good Faery pictures taken. So this is all I’ve got. It feels good to have spring again.

Especially my own, who came to this country from a tiny island in the middle of the Atlantic ocean where she grew up without indoor plumbing or any of the things we always took for granted, and somehow raised 4 of us while sacrificing the nursing career she planned for.
