Depictions of fairies with stars on their foreheads or above their heads feel so... right?

When I look at those pieces of art I see a little bit of myself in them. I start to feel like there is an invisible, immaterial star on my head, too, and its phantom light is faintly warming my hair.

I don't see that many artworks with that detail, though.

I remembered a few days ago that I have a necklace with a small bell in it—high-pitched like a jingle bell, but softer in sound. Now when I run I make sparkling sounds. This is an incredible new development in the field of alterhuman gear.

i know some of these spellings have different meanings from each other, but again, this poll is based on aesthetics rather than meaning. (though, if you want to explain the different meanings in the tags, please do!)

i think my favorite spellings are fey and faery. i mostly use fae though, since that seems to be the most prevalent version, and i want to stay consistent in my posts. but if i find out later that a different spelling has a meaning that matches my experiences better, i may start using that (ignore the fact that i am still questioning if i even am fae)
