I've been catching up on your blog and saw your posts about Ify. He's the host of a movie podcast called Who Shot Ya. It's a great podcast and isn't just straight white dudes talking about their favorite straight white dude directors. I haven't seen 98% of the movies they've discussed but I still adore it.

Okay, but thinking about the magical girl FAHC AU possibilities again?

Jeremy with his asshole magical cat companion/mentor is just like. Everyone else assumes this is just another facet of the whole Rimmy Tim business and don’t give it a second thought. Especially when he shows up late to a crew meeting and his magical cat companion/mentor is decked out in a cat-ified version of the Rimmy Tim outfit. (The only ~mystery to be had there is whether or not the Rimmy Tim nonsense started before or after he became a magical girl.)

Lindsay? Who the fuck even knows. (Somehow being a magical girls makes her seem less chaotic. Because of the fighting evil being an outlet or something? Idk.)

Trevor? Everyone assumes he snapped under the pressure of taking over for Geoff and therefore finding him arguing with a cat is like. Expected at that point.

Alfredo’s this mixed bag of total professional or actual lunatic so no one’s really concerned when the magical girl thing happens to him.

Michael and Ryan would have similar views on things, I think? Reach for a gun before the sparkly magic wand nonsense and take a more pragmatic take on things that throw their magical cat companion/mentor and everyone else in on things for a loop.

Geoff is just. So Tired.

Jack is like. Half-convinced it’s an elaborate prank from the others and goes along with it sarcastic as hell waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Matt is kind of the same, but also a little, “Okay, yeah, sure. Giant evil monster rampaging through downtown Los Santos, why not. It’s a Tuesday after all.”

Fiona would be this mix of oh hell yeah/hell no depending on the day/situation? Like super thrilled with the magical girl powers but kind of ugh, really regarding the fighting evil component. (But would also find a way to use her powers to torment/bully Michael and the others in ways that are borderline evil? Like. Her cat companion/mentor is like. “I’m not sure that’s allowed?” and worrying if they’ve been partnered with someone who’ll turn out to be an Evil Villain in disguise at some point.)
