So, I recently saw Catching Fire…and in the middle of eating popcorn, my brain goes “Hey, you know what this stuff tastes like? Corn. Corn with maybe a little bit of butter on it.” I honestly had this thought for a straight 10 minutes during the movie. I mean popcorn. It is what it is, and it is literally popped corn, with some butter on it.

I just spent the last 15 minutes trying to remember the title of the movie ‘What’s Eating Gilbert Grape?’ Apparently, saying 'That movie that has Leo DiCaprio, Juliette Lewis, and Johnny Depp from the 90s’ is not enough of a hint.

emil has a very skewed moral compass as he has been programmed over and over throughout his life. he has difficulty discerning right from wrong in a lot of situations. he knows hurting people and enjoying it is wrong and tries to tell himself since he doesn’t enjoy what he does that he isn’t as evil. the longer he spends without being reprogrammed the more he begins to discern things better.
