Today is day three of the third iteration of the thing neither of us wants. And even though this is the third time around, neither we nor they seem to have learned from the first two rounds.

The first time around, they seemed to have no idea what to say, which is is fair because no one did. They said some things, we did some things, and then they said other things. After a couple of months, we were out. And as soon as we were out, we forgot everything that transpired. And it seems, so have they.

Now that we're back in again, it's like deja vu. Only this deja vu comes with a side of amnesia. Here we are, the third time over, but still back in the beginning.

Eventually, we'll be out again. Then we'll forget, and we'll be back in. In and out and in again, our movements restricting and relaxing like an accordion.
