minor life update here! as i’m sure nobody (re: not many but maybe some of you) noticed, i haven’t been really active on here in, well, a long time. my activity dropped in the fall and only briefly spiked for nano, but i’ve really only been on here for brief seconds in the past few months at all. basically, school is hard and frustrating af, and i’ve pretty much been sucked dry of any inspiration, creativity, or motivation to try to do anything all winter. and that’s in, like, most areas of my life as well, not just writing, but all creative outlooks. i won’t really get into the specifics, except school hard, life dull, brain empty, no thoughts. not even poetry because i have been having no feelings rip.  

so that’s where i’ve been. but! there was a positive reason i decided to finally mention what’s been going on! which is that i’ve slowly been trying to pull myself out of this slump. i’ve been having some ideas that i’m trying to turn into something coherent (though they will unlikely become wips because i’m just great at that), and i’ve been trying to write a few words a day. 

projects currently up for consideration:

fairbone - basically, i have only been editing this very sporadically. i’m almost halfway through it, though, and i’m trying to come up with a plan to finish it, but man am i bad at deadlines.

the vanishing point - actually opened this wip for the first time since...not sure, maybe briefly in the fall, yesterday. i don’t vibe that much with the plot, but i had some substance there, so i’m going to try my hand at reworking it.

ocean blue, blood red - surprises of all surprises, i actually got back into this wip! like i had 1k words from over the summer, but i’ve been trying to write on it lately, and though i haven’t written much, i hope i can continue to make at least some good progress even though there’s no plot!

nano 2020 - honestly, trying to work on this has been going...and going. but even though i’ve written maybe a little over 1k since the end of nano, i  still want to work on it, so we’ll see.

& then i have some various ideas (aib inspired fairytale survival game apocalypse, coming of age after an Event, religious thriller nonsense) that i’m trying to develop.
