Mine went back to normal after about a month. I know some people never have their taste go back to normal, and some it takes a good while
But if this is a new symptom that you haven’t had since you were sick (I’m not sure I’m reading it right), you may have gotten infected again. If you tested negative, test again for the next two days, that’s what my doctor recommended. Unless it’s been over a week since the symptoms started in which case probably you’ll test negative either way but hopefully it’ll clear up soon!
I’m not a doctor but I have Long Covid and have read a bunch so this is just based on my readings and experience, don’t take my word for it
yesh when my mom had it a couple years ago it lasted for 16 months it was HARD! I was deep cleaning the house every few days bc she thought something was rotting. I don't have THAT level of Weird senses which is why i dont know if it IS covid related? I noticed some weird things while I was sick but this is kind of new? within the last month or so. Feel fine and haven't tested positive so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and when i do have to go out i still mask everywhere lmao
will probably stay inside and keep vigilant about it bc yesh its weird

Fajitas for dinner!! So yummy mmmm
My rough-ish directions on how I made them below because I feel like talking about it
Okay so I had a package of boneless chicken thighs that I seasoned the day before. With what, you ask? Just a bunch of random stuff. I have no measurements but I used: cumin, salt, pepper, chili powder, cayenne, onion powder, garlic powder, msg, some green chili powder I found at a specialty spice store that is so not necessary, a bit of oregano, some white wine vinegar, and olive oil. Basically add some seasonings you like, a few tablespoons of liquid acidity (lime would have been good), and some oil to stick. I debated using packaged taco seasoning so that would work too
The next day pull those out of the fridge. Get a big sauté pan out and heat it up. Coat the bottom with oil, I used olive. Sauté your chicken at medium-high heat until each side is brown and crispy and cooked inside (don’t overcook because you’ll cook it a little more later!)
While your chicken is cooking chop up those veggies. I did bell pepper and onions (the golden ratio I have found is 2 peppers per 1 onion; I used four peppers and two onions). Slice those bad boys up to your preferred size (I slice both lengthwise then slice all those slices in half so they are shorter). It would have been yummy to add some fresh garlic slices but I was in a hurry so I didn’t
After you take all your chicken out (if you have to make multiple batches add a bit of fresh oil between to cool it down a tad and adjust heat as necessary) and put it on a plate, put all your veggies into the oily pan. It’ll have chicken fat and some stray pieces and olive oil; leave it all. It’ll be yummy to cook your veggies in
Season your veggies as you seasoned the chicken above (minus the acid and olive oil). Add a good amount of seasoning to make them very tasty :)
While those are cooking, chop up your chicken like you did your veggies (to your preferred size)
When the veggies are almost done add your chopped chicken back to the veggies and sauté for a couple more minutes. Taste and adjust the food to your liking 🌮
I served them on homemade tortillas because they are the love of my life but go ham and do whatever you want. Enjoy!
