I've been in the mood to read some darker/paranormal romances. Although I have already read this, sometimes there's comfort in the familiar. If you enjoy a little more *spice* in your romantasy than the average with paranormal/monster elements thrown in too, then you might add this to your tbr.

I don't think I've read a book like this before. This is a Witchy read and would've done me good if I read it in the witchy season but I'm glad I didn't wait.
The Sisters Solstice is an amazing read (I've yet to finish book 2 but I'm already loving it)
There's a dark gothic theme (first timer) but me likey. Agatha (such a witch name) is a strong but sometimes weird FMC who is well, as powerful as they come.

It's been a while, friends! Lots of things happened this past spring and summer, and social media took a back seat. I got super behind in my reviewing, and felt so overwhelmed that I just shut down. However, one of the highlights of my summer was meeting @stdennard at ALA Annual. Found another banger, I’ll do a book review once I’ll finish. Lol this one has kinda swayed my attitude towards anything non-fiction… just a little. I try to find parts of myself in books I read, and often feel like fictions have a hard time revealing those parts of me. This is where I have to be corny nd say the book brings me a nostalgic feeling from when I was younger and got butterflies reading summer books. Crazy how growth and time leaves enough room for changes you can appreciate and not. I notice I’m not as youthful and carefree. Instead I’m picky and precise… and sure about my decision in being that way. I still wish be as blissful as I once was, to easily fall in love with.. fantasies like I did the first time. Laid under the sun peaking through the blinds for hours, afraid to put my attention anywhere for the slightest second bc I’d miss out one the best part. May not be my first time but it’s pretty damn close.
