Tom Bennett General Headcanon Alphabet

A - Animals - Are they an animal person? Good with them? Scared of them?

Tommy loves animals. He is the sort of person that will cross the road with the sole intent of petting a cat he's spotted and smiles at dogs as they walk past. Vera the canary will always be his number one though.

B - Boozy - What is their alcohol tolerance like? What kind of drunk are they?

Tom is a loud drunk. He's fond of a drink and will get quite rowdy after a few pints.

C - Chocolate - Do they prefer savory tastes or do they have a (secret) sweet tooth?

Tom eats for necessity, he's not really a foodie. Although if someone has a bag of crisps or sweets around him that won't stop him from dipping his hand in and helping himself.

D - Decision - Are they impulsive decision makes? Do they follow their heart, or do they prefer thinking it over?

He's incredibly impulsive. He's hot headed and a hedonist, which means he rarely takes the time to think through his actions.

E - Explosive - Are they quick to get angry? What kind of angry are they?

Tom is quick to anger and will raise his voice when he loses his temper. It's his way of goading people into a fight, so he can claim they struck first when he inevitably gets into trouble for scrapping.

F - Friendship - Do they make friends easily? Or are they more hard to approach?

Tom's a people person, but his love of winding people up means they're not always a fan of him.

G - Ghost - Do they believe in the paranormal? Are they superstitious?

Absolutely not. He thinks all of that's nonsense.

H - Health & Hygiene - Do they take proper care of themselves or do they need to be reminded to have better habits?

Tom does the necessities - he washes himself and brushes his teeth, but that's about it.

I - Income - Do they feel like money = happiness, or are they happy with enough to survive? Do they dream of a lavish lifestyle, or do they think luxury is unnecessary?

Tom is relatively content with his lot in life. He tends to look down upon extreme wealth, as it makes people snobby.

J - Job - If they’d be living in our world - modern AU - What kind of job would they have? Would they be good at it?

He'd be a mechanic and use it as an opportunity to flirt with female customers. He'd be skilled, but too busy trying to charm his way into the knickers of every pretty lady to actually be any good at it.

K - Kindness - Are they kind? Do they like to pay it forward? Are they kind to strangers?

Tom has a heart of gold and is kind when it matters - it's hidden beneath a thick shell of cockiness though.

L - Love Language - What is their love language? Does it change when it’s a romantic relationship or are they consistent with how they show love to friends and partners?

Tom's love language with friends and family is quality time. With partners it's physical touch.

M - Music - What kind of music are they into / would they be into? Can they sing / dance? Do they have good rhythm?

Tom can't sing, but he's not a bad dancer - any opportunity to get up close and personal with other women. Not hugely into music, so will typically go with whatever's popular at the time.

N - Nature - Do they enjoy the calm and quiet of nature or do they prefer people and the city? What kind of nature resonates most with them (sea, forest, mountains…)

Tom's a city guy. Give him the cobbled streets of Castlefield any day over the green expanse of the countryside.

O - Offspring - Do they want kids one day? Are they good with children, or do they prefer to stay away as far as possible?

Tom is great with kids, as he acts like a big kid himself. The idea of having his own terrifies him though, so he prefers not to think about it.

P - Pain - Do they have a high pain tolerance? Are they quick to admit that they are in pain or will they endure it by themselves?

Tom won't hide the fact that he's in pain, but he'll also cope and not make a fuss.

Q - Question - Are they curious by nature? Do they know loads of little trivia? Are they very knowledgeable in their field?

Tom's not academically high achieving, but he has good emotional intelligence. He prefers to learn about people rather than subjects.

R - Rain - What is their favorite type of weather? Favorite season? Are they an ‘I’m always hot’ or an ‘I’m always cold’ kind of person?

Tom likes sunny weather - perfect for relaxing with a beer, and means that ladies are more likely to be out in dresses, so he can look at their legs.

S - Sleep - What are their sleeping habits? What does their bed look like?

Tom goes to bed late and likes to lay in until the afternoon. He's lazy and his bed is never made.

T - Tired - Are they a morning person? A night owl? A permanently exhausted pigeon?

Tom's a night owl, for sure.

U - Unwind - What do they like to do to relax? Do they need a lot of downtime?

Tom doesn't need a lot of alone time. If he needs to relax he'll smoke a cigarette. Typically enjoys blowing off steam at the pub.

V - Vulnerable - Are they quick to overshare? Or do they keep up their defenses? How long does it take for them to trust someone and open up?

Tom will share enough to make people think he is open, however, there is a wall hiding his real thoughts and feelings - someone has to really get to know him in order for this to come down.

W - Weird - Do they have any habits that are considered strange or abnormal by other people? What are they?

Excessive smoking, flirting with anything in a skirt, his love of causing trouble.

X - XOXO - In a modern AU: are they a texter or a caller? Do they use emoji? What are their most used Emoji? Do they use a lot of common abbreviations, or do they type out everything properly?

He'd be someone that sends a lot of voice notes, and when he texts there's excessive use of the eggplant/aubergine emoji.

Y - Yes man - Are they quick to help out friends? And Strangers? Will they be easy to convince to do things for others or do they prefer just taking care of their own business.

Tom will do anything for his friends and family. He'd be the last person to offer to help someone do something boring and tiresome like move house or mow the lawn, but if someone was in genuine, desperate need of urgent help then he'd be there for them.

Z - Zone out - Are they prone to daydreaming? If so, what are they dreaming about? Or are they more focussed, and if they are, how hard is it to break their concentration?

Tom is someone who doesn't like to be in his own head too much. He prefers distracting himself. He always has to be focused on something.

B A C K G R O U N D

born and raised, for the most part, in los angeles, shamaya's rise to fame was destined from birth. with her mother being a pop/r&b sensation and her father being a well known producer, her life was pretty much set financially from the moment she entered the world. and while it was great that she would never have to worry about struggling like a majority of the world's population, the cons that were attached to her lifestyle tended to outweigh the pros.

like her mother who was forced into the industry at a young age, so was she. as much as she loves her mother, there's still a lingering air of resentment that maya has towards her because she feels as though she stole her childhood away from her. one would think that because her mother went through something similar that she wouldn't want her daughter to go through that, but they'd be wrong. from the time that shamaya could walk and talk, she's been working.

she had her first acting gig at the wide eyed age of four years old, and by the time she was ten years old, she had a hefty catalogue of work underneath her belt. movies, tv show appearances, and the main role of a kid's television show. and at the time, she absolutely loved it. she enjoyed working. it made her feel like a grownup, something that a lot of kids wished that they could experience. what she didn't notice while growing up was that she was missing out on a lot of fundamental childhood growth. going to school instead of being homeschooled by private tutors, making friends on the playground, etc. she never got to experience any of that.

looking back on it, the most fun memories from her childhood were the times she spent a few weeks of the summer seasons in jamaica with her mother's family or in vietnam with her father's family. when she could just be a normal child, playing and enjoying herself amongst relatives; especially her cousins around her age.

she was thirteen years old when she entered the music world. a girl group was her introduction to the music industry, a trio with two other girls who were both talented in their own respect. they were met with quite a lot of success, selling records and selling out tours by the time she was fifteen. at that point in her life, she had fallen in love with music, and didn't see the issue with her giving up her youth in return for all of her success. she was on the rise, and no one could stop her from reaching the top.

due to contractual conflicts and butting heads within the group itself, the trio disbanded by the time shamaya turned eighteen years old. and once their breakup was solidified, she immediately signed with a new label as a solo artist. in her excitement and naiveté, she recklessly signed a deal that ended up shooting her in the foot. a contract that locked her into a legal promise to provide the label with eight studio albums; something that seemed fair and doable to maya in her youthful ignorance. what she didn't realize was that it would soon become apparent that she shot herself in the foot with her decision.

booked and busy didn't even begin to describe maya's life from that point on. if she wasn't recording an album, she was promoting an album, or doing some form of work to keep her name at the forefront of the general public's mind. from 2011 to 2020, she released an album almost every year, resulting in having seven albums in less than a decade, a feat that very few artists can say that they've reached.

apart from being overworked, maya's former ways of being overly kind and accessible opened her up to being screwed over and taken advantage of many times, both professionally and personally. this treatment eventually led to the hardening of her heart, turning her from a wide eyed, bushy tailed, eager to please pop star, to a scorned, miserable songstress in the spotlight. she began hating the music industry for destroying her love of music. she never wanted to touch a mic again, whether or not she was contractually obligated to.

after releasing her seventh studio album in 2020, she began focusing on other prospects. her makeup line was the first of her business ventures, and quickly became a success due to its diverse and inclusive shades of foundations and concealers, gaining traction amongst the beauty industry and the public. not only was it high quality, but it was easily accessible to people from all walks of life. her next business venture involved a line of high in lingerie, another successful accomplishment underneath her belt. despite all the success she achieved as a businesswoman, the lingering knowledge in the back of her mind that she still owes her label another album terrifies her. she doesn’t want to go back to music, and she doubts she ever will. she’s been trying to hold off on that final album for three years now, and her label, and fans, are growing more and more impatient and irritated with her delays.

Luna Vanhanen is the Dark-type Gym Leader of the Reborn Pokémon League - a kind and elegant figure who loves to live her life like a fairytale, and who acts as the maid of Vanhanen Castle despite also being its princess. Adriana Laverre is a challenger to the Reborn League, originally from a noble family in Kalos with an affinity for Ghost-type Pokémon.

Adri first met Luna when she arrived at Vanhanen Castle to challenge Luna's adopted father, the Psychic-type Gym Leader Radomus. She later set out on Luna's behalf to rescue her friend, the famous Gossip Gardevoir - swiftly followed by having to save Luna herself - from the clutches of Bennett and Elias. Following Adriana's Gym battle against Luna, the two of them confessed their love to each other, but were not able to reunite until many months had passed and Reborn City had been revitalised. After finally stopping Team Meteor's plans, Adriana now lives with Luna and the rest of her family in Vanhanen Castle, taking on a new role as the Reborn League's Ghost-type Gym Leader while Luna eventually becomes one of its Elite Four.

After the events at the Glass Workstation, both Luna and Adriana have become what they call "void-kissed", due to their exposure to the unearthly environment of the Void they were both plunged into. Luna seems to melt into the shadows when she isn't directly being addressed by someone else, while Adriana gains many light specks somewhat resembling freckles across her body and eyes, and seems to be able to interact with her Ghost-type Pokémon much more tangibly than most.

(Note: I headcanon that Luna dyes her hair black and wears coloured contacts - her left eye is pink and her right eye is blue - in order to fit in better with her family and hide from her past, so any content I make of her will have her with this appearance.)

it’s no surprise, that being born and raised in connecticut with a father who calls himself the captain and a mother called bizzy, that addison lived on the wealthy side of the town, alongside brother archer.

growing up, addison would come to learn about her father’s indiscretions, and the affairs that he was having behind her mother’s back. for many years these influenced her opinion of him, causing tensions between the two. she would come to learn as an adult that it was actually her mother who had an affair first, one that went on for several years, and her father was just levelling the playing field. after all, they had to keep up appearances to the outside world, even if things weren’t working behind closed doors.

the girl who was once a band geek did exactly what was expected of her, as was the family tradition, and went to yale university. she left behind some of the tough times her family had been through, things she’d come to know, and focussed hard enough for her to go on to be accepted into colombia’s medical programme.

colombia was where the pieces of addison’s life started to fall into place. she met derek shepherd, naomi and sam bennett, and mark sloan. she’d found her people, the ones she’d come to care the most about, at least over the course of the following years.

addison and derek were that couple. even in med school, everyone knew who they were and how well suited they were for one another. it was no surprise to anyone when derek proposed, and their wedding was everything you’d have expected to be.

they were the ones with the seemingly perfect life, the careers to match, and a lifestyle that most would be envious of. they were successful, driven, and didn’t want for anything. at least not the outside world. their marriage, in truth, hadn’t been perfect.

by the time their marriage hit the ten year mark, cracks had well and truly started to develop. being drawn in by their work meant that there was seldom any time for one another, and when there was time, addison felt as though she wasn’t getting the same level of effort from her husband as she wanted to put into their marriage. this took it’s toll, and ultimately culminated in addison sleeping with mark sloan, their long time friend and derek’s best friend.

for a brief period, in the time where derek first moved to seattle, addison and mark began something more of a relationship, and not just the brief fling that derek had walked in on. during this time addison fell pregnant with mark’s baby, but did not go through with the pregnancy. she terminated, and instead answered richard webber’s call for her to go to seattle also.

derek and addison made an effort to try and work on their relationship, despite his clear feelings for meredith grey, but these efforts ultimately ended in failure –– especially given the addition of mark sloan to the seattle population.

despite her and derek’s divorce, addison felt settled within seattle. this was aided by sam and naomi opening a practice within the city, at which addison was able to work and support. it gave her a sense of normality and purpose, finding her footing within her life once again.

with naomi being a fertility specialist, and addison finally feeling as though she might be in a place to start a family of her own, she began looking into methods that she might be able to obtain this. however, addison found out that her egg count was incredibly though, and therefore highly unlikely that she would be able to have a child of her own.

addison struggled with this news for a while, particularly given her line of work, but is slowly coming to terms with it, thanks to the supportive network that she has around her.

n.b. –– i can’t try and weave timelines in any more i’m so confused time isn’t real she’s in seattle at the practice and kinda at the hospital ig but we all know and love her so here she is.
