Turtle tots! 🥰🐢 But why do they have bucked teeth?🤓🤔🤷🏻♀️
I love how Splinter never disbelieves his sons, he simply explains that he believes them but he can’t see the evil spirit like they can.
And Jeezus, poor babies! What an icky thing to have haunting you. I love how it threatens to eat them if they scream, they pause in shock for all of two heartbeats, then run screaming to their father lol!
I really feel for Splinter in this one. It’s a unique and heartbreaking experience to hold your father’s ashes and put them in their grave. You can’t help but think “This is the last time I’ll ever touch him.” And “He carried me all my life, now I carry him at the end of his.”
Splinter saying vaguely how he had to go through a lot to get Yoshi’s ashes in the first place, and I take this to mean one of two possibilities.
Possibility number one: he stole them. He had to track down where the coroner sent them, sneak in, steal them and then probably stole that nice as heck urn.
Possibility number two: the Utrons had them and Splinter had to find a way to contact them, prove who he was, and plead his case to bring the ashes home to Japan.

This is my story; I am Mon Anthony Era. It has been almost two years since my life was featured in newspapers in different countries. It is an honor for me.
I am just a simple person raised on an island. We are not wealthy and live a truly simple life. I never imagined that someone like me would be known in other countries, and that my life story would be heard.
Of course, this honor is not just for me but for my parents who raised me. Without them, I would not be Mon Anthony Era. Here is my story, please read it in this newspaper.

I want to like them, really I do, but how can we get to know them when “Grammy April” keeps telling them to stop fighting, goofing off, and teasing each other? Girl, stop being such a helicopter parent! Let them interact, they’re kids for crying in a bucket!
I think Yi (female with the yellow markings) is going to end up being my favorite. From what little I’ve seen, she’s sweet, cheerful and likes helping the adults.
Please tell me there’s going to be more to Odyn’s (male, red scarf) personality than an obsession with food🤦🏻♀️
They seem to be gearing up Moja (female, kinda a light brown) as a hothead Ala Raphael but with less charm.
Uno (male, very pale blue color) has a cool physical design but his attitude could use some adjustment.
And I get that they’re really young, but why are they talking like cavemen? I’ve never met a toddler who speakers like Cookie Monster (unless they were purposely imitating him).
Also a disturbing thought has lodged itself in my head… The original quartet were children of fate, an accident. These four were purposely mutated by April, trying to recreate that moment of destiny, she was literally playing God. How many turtles died before she got it right? How many made it past the mutation only to die a mutant version of SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome) before she was successful? I mean Jeezus Henry Christmas, wtf April?
April needs to back off and let Casey Marie figure out parenthood. The girl is floundering but she’ll never learn if April keeps intervening like the grandmother in Encanto.

Memories are Treasures
Remembering my father and the life lessons he taught me and my sibs.
Yesterday, Easter Sunday, while talking with one of my sons, the conversation moved from talking about guitars and guitar players – one very talented one I recently met on Twitter Matt Steady – to my father – a talented player himself – to my father’s dementia from Alzheimer’s.
Whew! That’s one of the longest, disconnected sentences I’ve written in a long time. 🙂
Anyway the conversation brought…

And so my scanning project continues, so far it's 7094 digitalised photos and counting. I still have 29 sheets with 35mm negatives to scan (one film in each sheet), I have about 15 sheets with 6x6cm or 6x7cm negatives, about 40 more pics in an album mum's uncle brought.
It's one of the most satisfying projects I've had recently and today I had a proof that it matters. We had a nice Easter dinner with my gran and her brother and after that I connected my laptop to the TV and we went through some of the pics I already scanned, 28 folders. We spent about two hours watching them, talking about them, having fun... And that gran's brother is probably the most introvert person in our entire family, in comparison to him I seem like a super open and people person (I'm not). I don't think I had this much to talk about with him in the past decade that I have now with these pictures (he's a photographer, he brought this scanner I'm using and he took a lot of the pictures I am now scanning).
The oldest pics we have here were taken around 1948-1949 and that's thrilling as hell. They are 70+ year old negatives and they were kept all this time in conditions that allow me to enjoy them now. Of course some pics have some damage, but that's what Photoshop is for if we ever want to make a physical copy.
