Just read thr latest chapters (10 and 11) of your wobbly hearts au and I've got a question about the lore/how soulmarks work

And if you cant answer all or part of it because it would spoiler stuff later that's totally fine!

Anyway:

I've been wondering for a while how someone with different soulmates differentiate who they're talking to if they're not all each otbers soulmates. Like Nya is soulmates with Jay, but Jay is also soulmates with Cole, Zane, (and Kai). So if jay writes something meant for Nya, what keeps it from being seen Cole or Zane? Or Do they see it?

Thanks to chp 11 we know that some soulmarks are different, that Skylors apparently show exclusively on her back. But is it still the "what you write on your skin shows up on them" just located on the back or is it a different kind of mark?

(Is that what Lloyd's is like too? He mentioned soemthing about his being hard to read/understand what it meant)

I'm just fascinated by how the different soulmarks work and didnt know if it would be expanded on or not later in the fic (if so, feel free to leave us in suspense lol)

i kinda forget sometimes that i don't explain the soulmarks thing very well in the fic itself lol, i got so distracted angsting Kai i low-key forgot the actual worldbuilding

Jay and Nya just have matching marks for soulmarks: stormcloud with lightning on their wrists if i remember correctly. Nya has another nameless soulmate that she writes to. There isn't usually an overlap in types of soulmarks if that makes sense.

As for Lloyd: he doesn't actually have soulmarks! (to his knowledge.) He's never gotten one, never seen one. But then again he's never really looked or tried to contact his soulmates since he's scared that they'll hate him for who and what he is. I actually am working on a Lloyd-focused fic to address that specifically (and also the elemental powers of the group) I don't know if it'll go anywhere but it is indeed in the works!

i wouldn't say i'm outright avoiding it but i do have the rise tag blacklisted. i like the show, i post about it often enough, but when i'm going through the 2003 or 2012 tags they're sometimes filled with rottmnt posts and it's just not what i'm looking to see

i would say i'm avoiding the last ronin 2 content just because i don't wanna spoil it for myself!

8. Favorite villain/antagonist?

2003 BAXTER STOCKMAN. theres no words to sum up how much i love that guy, he's easily the funniest character in any tmnt iteration to me, i don't think there's been a single scene with him that didn't have me in stitches he's absolutely comical, i cant get over how hysterically arrogant he is.

2003 agent bishop is a close second though.

and i really really do love the tiger claw, xever, rahzer dynamic in 2012

WAIT is there an actual answer to that that's in the next episodes that I missed??? (Or are you "neither confirming nor denying " even though we don't know why it's there, to not spoil it for them ? Which is Valid)

Cause *I* did not even notice the blue, and do not have an answer for them as to why there's blue. (Although this could relate to a theory I have about MK 👀, but I think the theory only has a 10% chance of being true lol)

Nah, I was being intentionally vague so that I would not give away that we don't have an answer for the blue to them. I ALSO did not notice it until my third viewing, so that's a good catch on Knox's part!

My money is on mayor Shit Goin On, but I am always up for all theories!

Hey there everyone! So, I have a question for y’all. Some of you might know me already, but for those who don’t--hello there! LONG story short, I’m a writer strugging to come back from about a five year slump (thank you ongoing chronic illnesses, blegh). I’m trying to get back into making art--especially writing--but I ALSO want to try my hand at drawing more. Like, a LOT more. Because here’s the thing--I love writing partly because I have these vivid, intense scenes in my mind, and I love love LOVE putting them into words and weaving them into stories. Buuuuut when...say, due to chronic illness, the “words” part of my brain doesn’t work...and I’m frozen with all these ideas/images but no way to share them...it gets hard to make art, then. Really hard. Like freeze-despair-lose-steam-for-years-hard.

BUT. I’ve found that making art in other ways--e.g. DRAWING, design, etc.--has helped jump start the writing again as well! Which is great! BUT ALSO. I have so MANY scenes and stories I’ve already written. (points and whispers, “Hey look, it’s an Ao3 profile with loads of hurt/comfort stories from multiple fandoms!” and then clumsily runs away in a terrible attempt at a graceful exit)

HERE IT IS!!! HERES THE FIC IVE BEEN WRITING FOR THE PAST MONTH

This is based on 3 different thoughts/questions I had immediately after watching the movie and has been living in my head rent free for over a year. How could the turtles survive in a world with no pizza when it's the thing they eat the most? How could Casey not know about it given said fact/how did the turtles never manage to say anything about it to him? And why was the last thing Leo said to him telling him to grab a slice?

Only have the first two chapters posted now because I still need to go through and edit them one more time (and need to fix a couple details that I changed last mintue) and finish the last little bit of the last chapter, but otherwise it IS DONE.

Hoping to have it all posted by the end of the week, but I needed to post at least some of it or I was gonna just keep editing it and never post it haha
