chapter 17

With her body tightly wrapped around Lexa’s body pillow, Clarke inhaled the scents barely present in the fabric.  Her skin burned with desire as her sex clenched with need.  Her mate had been absent for far too long and now as minutes bled into hours of loneliness, she felt herself going mad.

Every sound that broke the silence had her sharp attention, disappointment quieted her hope.  No one had been in to see her since the early morning with Raven doing her round before heading to work.  A tray of food magically appeared at the foot of the bed, but no one seemed to accompany it.  A few bites in she swallowed her pills then went back to her sleep.

Lexa’s scent surrounded her from time to time, but never her physical presence.  Knowing her Alpha needed her as much as she did plagued her tired thoughts, but nothing could be done to soothe them.  She wanted nothing more than to have her mate beside her, but from what Raven had said it would be impossible without collateral damage.

Trying to turn away from her she felt his grip tighten as his legs straddled her thighs,  “Now now, that’s impolite Clark, you’re the bitch and I am the man, open your fucking mouth or I will make sure this hurts.” Smashing the butt of his pistol across her face he managed to gash the delicate skin before clasping her cheeks in a rough hold with the cold steel pressed into her skin.  “I don’t know if you are better as a slut or as a man whore, but damn Clark I wouldn’t mind fucking the shit out of you.  It's a compliment.”

“Please.”  She whined in his painful hold.

Running his tongue along her face he enjoyed the soft feel of her skin,  “You are definitely not a guy, fuck I think you are better than Ontari.  It really is a shame I can’t feel what the good doctor has done to you, but thems the brakes.  Nia wants to punish her and I really don’t feel like dying.  You really fucked up your best chances to having a place in this world, you know Ontari was a fantastic fuck right?”  Burying his nose into the golden locks his hips absently grinded into her,  “Fuck you smell so fucking good.  I hate to kill you, but god I have no choice.”  Drooling over the scent he slammed the blonde back down onto her back and pressed the gun against her lips.

“Any last words bitch?”  He shined a toothy grin as his eyes went wide with a psychotic thrill.  Cocking the hammer back with a resounding click he forced the pistol into her mouth tearing the surrounding skin and bruising the roof of her mouth with the small metal sight at the tip.  

Slamming her eyelids shut she took in what she thought was her last breath and relaxed into the bed waiting for the numbness to completely consume her once more.  But permanently this time.  Three loud explosions of fire caused her to flinch against the metal before the weight of the man rested fully onto her as the gun dragged free from her lips claiming more of her delicate skin.   

Eternity passed before she heard her mate’s voice,  “Oh god, Clarke.  Please be okay.”  Panicked footsteps approached the bed as a strong arm flung the lifeless body of Cage off her.  Tear-filled green eyes beamed down at her as a soft hand caressed her cheek,  “Babe, speak to me.  Are you okay?”  Sure arms dragged her limp body up into a tight concerned hold as Lexa’s face buried into the crook of her neck.

“I missed you.”  She whimpered into a shuttering croak of tearful gasps.

Dr. Clef ( in sarcastic tone): Congratulations, Montmartre. You have done a good job on the Independence Day for your Proto-Project Marvel. I have a very important question for you since the 05 council ordered me. Do you even realize splicing an SCP-682 gene and your extraterrestrial gene can cause a major ruckus with your career in the Foundation? You made a son of gun bastard that can be a threat to humanity!

Dr. Montmartre (in serious tone): With all due respect, Dr. Clef, the Kree race has been stagnated for several centuries, only the Inhumans were considered their success. Please don't you ever address that condescending remark to my son.

Dr. Clef : Your son?! That freak of nature with your blue Kree blood! (laughing) I don't think he will be just like you! He' s still a damn indestructible lizard! He should be terminated as soon as possible!

Dr. Montmartre: You don't understand, Clef! My child has to be trained and treated properly at an early age! Then, you can see the results!

Dr. Clef (scoffed): How are you gonna prove that to me and the 05 Council? Are you gonna follow that pathetic paraphlegic bald man from the X-Men who helped those freaks that we the Foundation consider them as Indestrucs?

Dr. Montmartre (indignantly): Don't you dare to insult my friends from the outside, Clef!

Dr. Clef: What's the matter, Montmartre? You should be an SCP subject, just like your dear hybrid boy. Or I should say, both of you will be exterminated along with your scientist friends involved with your little pet project?!

Dr. Montmartre: I have enough of your foolishness, Clef. My son will be the heir of the Light Soul. Then, a year from now, the Kree and Lizard race will come after the inhabitants and my son! You will die in their hands soon!

Dr. Clef (loudly laughing): You made me laugh, Montmartre! You sound so Shakespeare! That will never happen! Are you playing god or somethin'?!

Dr. Montmartre (remained serious): Francis Wojciechoski, you are just like my people back in my homeworld, stubborn and full of hubris. Yet, I wonder why the Foundation chose you. I followed your concepts as a scientist, but you don't even give a damn at all.

Dr. Clef (infuriated): How the hell did you know my real name?!

Dr. Montmartre: I can secretly read minds, Francis, through my Kree Cosmic Awareness. I've predicted that you will initiate these untolerable treatments to my son as you would be using 682 for this. Surely, the 05 Council will permit you! I want him out of your bamboozled mess for Pama's sakes!

SHRINKING HOPPER: SECOND PREVIEW

Days after Aruto tested his new Progrise Key, Izu, the CEO's humagear secretary, tirelessly looked after him and asked Satellite Zea for help. The data from the satellite couldn't find any solution for Aruto's miniscule condition, but it gave her the expert's information and contact details. She contacted another CEO and a scientist from the United States and sought for his help.

Just then, Mamoru the humagear security guard, assisted and welcomed a bespectacled and bearded blonde man in his late fifties to early sixties. He was wearing a dark brown business suit with a white shirt and a purple tie underneath. He brought a suitcase,  entered the CEO's office and looked intently at Izu.

" So, you must be Izu, President Hiden's secretary? " he calmly spoke to her.

" Yes, Dr. Pym, " she politely replied and bowed at him. " It's a pleasure to meet you in person. "

" Likewise. How many days did he remain in that condition? "

" It's been three days, sir. "

" So, where is he? "

" He's on the observation table inside the lab. He has been living in that open jar. "

" An empty glass jar of pickles, I take it? "

" Yes, sir, " she nodded.

" Take me there. "

Izu aided Dr. Hank Pym and opened the Hiden Intelligence secret lab access as they both headed onto the stairs. Just beside the humagear models, there was a vacant white table where Aruto or Zero One peacefully remained inside the jar and saw his android secretary and her visitor.

" President Aruto, we have a visitor, " she said and carefully released her armored human boss from the jar.  " This is Dr. Henry "Hank" Pym of Pym Technologies. He's going to help us in your condition. "

Aruto intently looked at the visitor as he was in shock and starstrucked to see him. Then, he happily exclaimed in his tiny squeaky voice, " Hank Pym, the Original Ant-Man!! I have heard and read more about you!! It's great to see you so BIG!! "

" It's an honor to meet you, President Peepsqueak, " Pym sternly replied. " You accidentally shrunk yourself, I take it?! "

" President Peepsqueak?! You've gotta be kidding me!! "

" This is how I call you from now on. "

Pym took out his magnifying glass and intently eyed on the CEO and armored superhero. Aruto got frightened to see the other CEO's eyes, zooming out and slowly stepped back. Izu noticed her boss becoming uneasy.

" Izu, Doc, what the hell are you gonna do to me?! " he yelped in fear. " I'm no guinea pig! "

" President Aruto, please calm down. He's having a look on your condition, " she said with concern. 

" Take it easy, President Peepsqueak, " Pym added. " I just need to find out what went wrong with that device and then how we could deal with your state for the meantime. "

Shrinking Hopper Prologue (First Look)

In the bright and colorful strange looking environment, Aruto stepped on the dark green unknown terrain and widened his eyes in shock, becoming unfamiliar and lost of where he had gone into. He moved his head to and fro and noticed the bright purple aura flowing around him. There were no presence of any living beings and Humagears when he kept walking and searching.

" What the hell is this place?! " he said to himself. " Definitely, this is not Satellite Zea or the Ark?! Where's everybody?! "

Then, he snapped his fingers which he could create a commotion and echoed, " Hello, Is anybody here?! Hello?! "

No one responded which Aruto's voice bounced back. He crossed eyebrows and continued walking.

Without any awareness, he accidentally bumped a tall cloaked figure behind him, turned around, and nervously grinned, " Oh, sorry about that! I'd just didn't know you're...." Aruto paused and intently looked at the being who revealed itself to be a reptilian mutant man with dark red irises on his eyes. The mutant gave him a sinister grin and evilly chuckled. The Hiden Intelligence CEO realized he forgot to bring his Zero One Driver and slowly stepped away from the man to his safety.
