I really like your writing, I just recently downloaded tumblr since I was looking for more yandere content and you’re one of the first authors I followed.

So for my ask can I get the scenario of the reader being a former fan of the yandere, like reader was borderline obsessed fan girl who always try to help the yandere by making his homework and projects but one day the yandere had enough of reader’s help and humiliated her in front of a crowd and destroyed her hardwork. The reader then moved away due to start anew. Whiel the reader is away the yandere at first was happy but he starts to miss reader more and more to the point that he would go to her old house to apologize and have her be his fan again, but his is shocked to find the reader has moved away. Maybe when yandere is now successful he finds reader again and expecting reader to be inlove with him again flirts with them only to find out that reader attended therapist sessions and is no longer interested in him and is quite embarrassed of their former self. How would the yanderes react to reader no longer being their number one fan?

It’s not until the team is leaving that you manage to catch up to them, a white box clutched closely to the red number 1 jersey you’re wearing. Your eyes are shining brightly as you gush over the team’s captain.

“Kuroo! You were amazing! That last play was spectacular! I’m so glad you guys won, you deserve it!”

Kuroo’s heard it all a million times, not least of all from you. You managed to show up at every game, every event. He knew you mainly by your face, he’s not sure if he ever got your name. Your excitement and fangirlish behavior always managed to overwhelm him.

“It’s a little late, but…” you thrust the white box forward, into Kuroo’s chest. He fumbles it a little, shocked by the sudden assault. The top of the box is clear, showing a vanilla cake with frosting spelling out “Happy Birthday Kuroo!”

Now that’s just creepy. He’s never had a fan as diehard as you, and it makes him uncomfortable. He’s not even sure what to say.

A crowd has gathered by now, mainly of fans from inside the stadium, and it just serves to put more pressure on him as they whisper things about you and him. “Are they dating?” “Isn’t that weird?” “Isn’t that cute?” “Who does that?”

The other fangirls look on with jealousy and disgust, and he can’t help but feel even more overwhelmed by their presence as well. Everything was coming to a halt.

You remained smiling blissfully, unaware that Kuroo was getting sick of all your attention. You’d been at this for so long that this was the last straw to break the camel’s back.

You’ve always disturbed him with your intensity and obsessive behavior. You were practically everywhere he went and always trying to strike up a conversation, even when he clearly wasn’t interested. You’d tried to apply for the team manager position when it was open and then even the social media manager position. You were always decked out in merch and often seen carrying a Kuroo plush.

Kuroo let the cake fall from his hands. It seemed to move in slow motion until it hit the ground with a satisfying sound, causing a smile to tug at his lips. The crowd was silent, you were finally silent, frozen in shock and horror, trying to convince yourself it had been an accident.

“You’re a freak,” he spits out, “You’re always following us around and stalking us on social media and in person. It’s so creepy, you’re lucky you haven’t been arrested for harassment. Just leave me alone- everyone would be happier if you left and never came back.”

The first tear slipped from your eye and more followed quickly after. He watched as you crumbled into a mess of heartbroken sobs and desperate glances, as though you still thought he might comfort you in this moment of despair.

The group of fangirls began to laugh, their voices high-pitched and cruel. The team and several people in the crowd began to as well, and Kuroo couldn’t help but join him. This just seemed to break you more, as you blankly let a couple of sympathetic people in the crown pull you away.

You don’t stay to hear anything else. In a moment, you’re running away, so fast you’re nearly tripping over your own feet. Fleeing the scene Kuroo had created.

You wiped away more tears as you deactivated your last social media account. It was the best choice, after all those fans had sent you horrible messages and even doxxed you. You could barely stand to think about some of those messages.

“Kill yourself” “How pathetic” “Just die”...

You shuddered and turned off your phone. You’d have to change your number as well. At least no one had showed up at your house. What cowards… of course people were more content to sit behind a screen and say awful things instead of actually showing up in person to do anything.

Shrugging your shoulders a little, you turned back to the TV, where your new favorite show was playing. You had been to a therapist several times since the incident and your mood was improving greatly. She had suggested you put the energy you’d once put in Kuroo and his team into something new, like a hobby or something fictional.

This show was definitely more interesting to watch than volleyball, if you were being honest. And it felt safer to obsess over book characters than real people. At least they couldn’t hurt you like Kuroo did.

Kuroo, on the other hand, had begun to suffer from your disappearance. You no longer showed up to games, and he assumed you must be watching him from your TV. He couldn’t blame you for not showing up in person, but he swore he could hear your cheering voice missing from the crowd.

It was lonely, to be surrounded by thousands of people, but missing just one voice you wished to hear.

However, he didn’t realize that’s what he was missing until he asked the team what happened to their weekly treats. When one of his teammates said that you had sent them in every week, without fail, he felt like he’d been stabbed right through the heart. You did that for all of them? How didn’t he realize that?

He tried to keep it bottled up, tried not to be bothered by not seeing your face in the crowd anymore. But it was getting to him, even affecting his performance in every game.

He found himself searching for your social media, so he could apologize and let you know it was safe to come back to his games or whatever it was you needed to hear. He wasn’t sure what your name was, but managed to find a video of what he’d done to you and saw a user tagged in the text above. The name sounded right, so he clicked on it.

Deleted account.

Kuroo’s heart sunk in his chest. Somehow, he knew this was you. Searching your name in other social media apps gave him no results- apparently you’d deleted all of your accounts.

Swallowing back his guilt, he searched for something a little less innocent than your name. It was quick to find once he knew what he was looking for. One of his fans had, after all, doxxed you.

He headed out for your house immediately. He’d just talk to you, clear things up, and everything would be fine!

He pulled into your driveway and his heart leapt in his chest when he saw you bringing mail inside. He practically fell out of his car, calling your name to get you to stop and turn around.

You did just that, looking at him with an expression like you were seeing a ghost. All the color had drained from your face and your lips parted in fear.

“I’m sorry, (Y/n), I really am. I shouldn’t have said those things.”

Why didn’t you act happy to see him? Shouldn’t you be throwing yourself all over him with relief that he cared?

You had made your way to the door and were starting to fumble with your keys. You’d apparently just gotten home when you stopped to grab your mail. Lucky him.

“Please accept my apology! I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry! Please just come back to my games…” Kuroo felt like he was being slowly choked, tears stinging his eyes in desperation. He couldn’t understand why you weren’t acting like yourself.

“I accept your apology.” You responded, but before he could sigh in relief, you continued. “But just because I accept your apology doesn’t mean I’m going back. I’ve grown up, I’m over you and your team and just volleyball in general.”

Kuroo remained frozen in place. You were… over him? How could you change so much so quickly? Had he really hurt you that badly? It had only been a couple of months… how could you leave him? How dare you leave him?

As you went back to fumbling with your keys, Kuroo advanced on you like a lion on its prey. If you weren’t going to obsess over him, fine. Then the roles were switched.

He’d change your mind, no matter what it took.

On the Acceptance of Unsteady Ground

Throughout this whole dive into turtle world, I've been very conscious of just how LITTLE access to information I have. I'm relying so heavily on English translations and platforms, and most of these are from turtles, so I'm fully aware I'm getting a biased perspective.

I've tried to read stuff from solos or even just neutral third-parties. The neutral parties don't have much depth of information, though, and I found solos heavy on accusations and declarations but light on actual...evidence. And they sometimes use some really nasty rhetoric against the idea that gg and dd might be gay.

Don't get me wrong, turtles get weird too. There's plenty of clearly false rumors, deceptively edited videos, silly stretches of logic, weird ideas of what how people in a relationship would act, etc. But there's at least enough English-speaking turtles that I can find some who are giving open and, as far as I can tell, accurate information (honestly, I find tumblr turtledom better at that then other platforms). I haven't really found a similar pocket of solo fans.

I'm also aware that there's always going to be a limit on how much I can know. I don't speak the language, so I'm always relying on translators. I have limited access to Weibo (even putting aside the language barrier, I'm in text confirmation limbo in actually getting an account), and I have little familiarity with the culture. I don't get a lot of the jokes or references, and stuff may strike me, an English-speaking American, differently than it would someone in China.

Add on top of that the fact that I'm trying to find out purposely obscured information about two celebrities, and, yeah, I'm fully aware that I'm on unsteady ground here. I can do my best, but I'm never going to know anything for certain.

But I've become okay with that.

It took a while. The dissatisfaction with the unknown (and unknowable) is what drove a lot of my early fixation and subsequent fall into the turtle pit. But now, especially after laying out my thoughts, I've reached a zen place with it. I'm 100% certain ggdd were together during filming/promo, and I'm 95% certain they're still together (I had this at 85% originally, but then the whole dd being sick and gg changing his schedule thing happened and I'm just...welp, guess I'm in this confidence interval, then).

Just having that certainty means I can enjoy updates from them without anguishing about "proof" or uncertainty. Oh, gg took the day off on dd's birthday? That's really sweet! I'm not gonna fuss about if it's coincidence ENOUGH to convince me, because I'm already convinced. It's a good place to be.

I typically don't care about celebrities. In fact, I've long been bewildered by celebrity culture here in the US, and I've often been actively annoyed when people assume/expect me to have opinions on things celebrities do. I'm the nerd who doesn't get why the actors get all the attention when the writer or director would be much more interesting.

So the fact that I've gone all fangirlish over two celebrities is bizarre to me, and I appreciate the irony. Well done, me. I attribute some of it to just being able to watch the bts and see their early interactions play out like a story. I find stories compelling, and both gg and dd are charismatic, attractive and have great chemistry. Whatever disdain I have for celebs, I do love a romance.

In my foray into the ggdd world, though, I've also had to learn more about c-ent, and y'all. It's nuts. Like, US entertainment is nuts too, but c-ent ratchets it up to 11. I've been in fandom a long time, and I thought I'd seen some weird stuff, but it's got nothing on c-ent. Just wrapping my head around the culture these guys are in took a lot of learning.

But I appreciate being able to dive into this culture and this country, because I knew very little about China beyond the antagonistic politics. It's been refreshing to get a view on life on the ground in China to humanize the folks there and get a clearer picture of the country.

I started this thing bc I had been spending so much time on Youtube watching clips, and I had thoughts and opinions and nowhere to put them. I already had a tumblr that I use to lurk on some fandoms and I had started following turtles too. I figured tumblr would be a decent place to splurge out my thoughts, so I set up a throwaway account to do so.

I get the vibe that a lot of new turtles come to bjyx through the same route I took? They watch The Untamed on Netflix. They get curious about the show and start watching some clips on YT. Next thing you know, they have 3 playlists full of purported "proof of love" and they need a whiteboard to connect everything together and their wife thinks they've gone completely bonkers supports them in all their oddities.

Like, I was really confused by turtles at first. I was just trying to watch bts videos on YouTube and I didn't know what bjyx meant, but the videos with the label were weird and had strange disclaimers that they were "only for turtles" and I had no clue what that even meant.

My confusion continued as I tried to read more. The fake story disclaimer convention is hella confusing as an outsider, and my first impression was that turtles were kinda crazy. The videos I saw gave overviews of candies without context, and some of them explicitly said they were proof of Yizhan love while still having that fake story disclaimer. Basically, it was a big confusing environment, and it's why I resisted buying into bjyx so hard for so long. It all seemed delulu.

But in reading more, I guess part of that is the point? Recognizing that gg and dd are in a vulnerable position should their relationship ever come out, having so much noise to muddy the waters makes a twisted, clownish sense. I don't know who came up with that convention or if it just kinda happened (is it a normal thing in c-ent? I don't know enough about celebrity fandoms), but hats off, I guess.

With the supertopic recently hitting 4 million active fans, there's something heartening about such a depth of support for the guys. I'm not naive enough to think all 4 million (plus international fans) are allies to LGBT folk in general, but it surely means something to ggdd to have that sort of support for their relationship. Honestly, it means something to me, as a random gay chick on the other side of the world, to see a gay couple get that kinda of support behind them.

I started watching the bts because I was afraid there'd be a lot of cynical homophobia on the set or some evidence of all the male cast being icked out by the whole thing. Instead, I got gg, who was so passionate about WWX being gay. I love that everybody knew they were telling a love story with as explicitly as they could get away with. I love that the guys wanted more Wangxian scenes and that the cast and crew made "everyday is everyday" jokes in a non-mocking way. I'm glad that the whole shoot seemed like such a positive environment for the cast and crew to being themselves and tell a type of story that they may not be able to be involved with ever again.

So, yes, this is my zen turtle place. When I set up a soapbox for myself, I didn't think too much about the fact that people would respond, but I'm so grateful to have had a chance to talk to some other turtles! Everybody is lovely and thank you for sharing my enthusiasm.

Like I said in the beginning, I don't have the time to keep super-active in the long-term. I had intended to write up my thoughts and poof away. But I do also plan to keep up with gg and dd and turtles, so instead I'm just gonna leave off with the potential for further posts down the line.

I'm not gonna be incredibly active, so please don't expect frequent updates or interactions from me. But if I have more Yizhan thoughts I'll pop up again with a post (I mean, I do have lots more thoughts, but nothing energizing enough to write about), or I'll leave a comment somewhere if I have something I simply must say. I'm also open to responding to asks about the timeline or anything else. And if I ever do stumble across anything groundbreaking with regards to the timeline, I'll probably add that in, because I'm particular about things being complete.

So thanks for being so welcoming! It's been a joy to clown around and make up completely fictional stories with everybody here. 🤡🐢🙇🏼

Can I ask you where have you found inspiration for your art? For example I've noticed you have a very specific (and beautiful) way you draw jewelry and clothing. The shapes are very organic yet grounded at the same time, give a bit of a Nausicaä vibes, as well as art noveau meets iron age.

Honestly I could go on and on about the beautiful details of your art but I don't want to seem too fangirlish :D

Ohhh thank you I love those comparisons 🧡 Because I didn't even know those are the vibes I was going for but yeah that's great actually... This is like when one of you made a playlist inspired by my art... (I still have that saved btw! 🧡 And I still cannot believe!!). Here's a little Rhiam drawing with some jewelry she doesn't (yet) have in canon (earrings she does have but she cannot use them yet)

But what are my inspirations hmmmmmmm many! Idk even what all I have inhaled into my art but I try to list something (this got long so rest under cut):

Nature 🌿 I love both mundane (sparrows, plants growing from asphalt cracks, moss covered street signs... the little details) and grand formations that fill me with awe. There's something about things so vast that take my breath away. Like oceans, mountains, high cliffs, endless tundra, wind so strong you could lean against it, ancient stone that has been scraped visible by massive sheets of ice thousands of years ago. (But I'm guilty of not being that impressed by conventional beauty of average gardens. Aren't people tired of only finding planted blooming flowers beautiful!). Most often I'm drawing inspiration from nature familiar to me, that being Nordic/Scandinavian ones.

I already said nature but birds deserve a special mention! Agh I just love those funky little animals 🦅

Stories! I love making stories, I think they help me grasp and go over my thoughts. I love pouring myself into my characters, it makes them feel both personal but also makes it easier to talk about myself to my fellow storytellers. I'd love to do a long graphic novel or write a book one day, but I also love making ttrpg stories just for and with our little group 🧡 For a long time I felt kinda bad that I wasn't doing "real art" that wasn't just illustrations of my characters. But then I realised doing art for arts sake doesn't really inspire me. I don't want to do art that I'd think would be easily consumable nor do I have any great performance to create with my art. I just love to illustrate stories and tell stories through my art and I think that's great! I still love seeing and experiencing artworks that aren't this illustrative, I just don't have the motivation to do that myself. But I can get really excited of works like Emma Jääskeläinen's granite sculptures!

Other artists! There are two categories I think: 1) those whose work I've seen (usually irl) and whose technique or themes or symbolism facinates me. I usually don't want to create similar art, or replicate their style, or medium even. But there's something about them, a feeling of awe or they feel formidable. Or there's something clever about them that lets me have this sense of epiphany. For example, Jääskeläinen who I already mentioned, Marcel Dzama, Merja Palin, Helena Vaari, Marika Mäkelä, to name a few I've seen lately-ish. And then 2) there are artists whose stories and/or style inspires me and influences my art. One of the biggest inspirations to my softer line art style was and is @albabbgg. @serpentface has some really cool worldbuilding and designs, I think they were also a great influence to how I draw bodies these days. @wiltkingart has also very cool shapes and genders in his paintings. @sanctus-ingenium 's stories and art have been a huge inspiration lately. And to list a few others now that I started: @pangur-and-grim/@greer-art, @beidak-art, @elemei, @emilylorange, @pansylair, @cy-lindric, @psrj, @lokorum

FMA scattered thoughts from a first-time viewer

(Slight spoilers ahead?)

It feels appropriate to see FMA trending on Tumblr on Oct. 3/4. ☺️ I’m not in the fandom, but I just finished watching Brotherhood for the first time a couple weeks ago, and I absolutely get why it’s so beloved by the anime community.

It’s hard to avoid spoilers for a show that big and that “old,” so many of the typical shocking moments I already knew about, (except what happened to Roy at the end; that made my heart sink.) But even with all the prior knowledge, the story and the characters were so earnest and poignant that in the latter half of the show it became like a good book I couldn’t put down. The Elric brothers are both so much more endearing than I was prepared for.

And there are so many rich thematic wells you could tap for discussion: grief, government corruption, racism, the ethics of science, disability, theology, faith vs. science, familial love; the possibilities are immense!! It actually hit a few plot beats that I typically don’t like, such as fake character death and political conspiracy. But the fake death was so obvious when watching it that I didn’t feel it was cheap, the way it normally comes across. And the conspiracy element was actually suspenseful, and the way characters reacted realistically to being trapped in a political web was so engaging.

Overall, I loved it, and I definitely want to rewatch it. There’s a couple things at the end I wasn’t personally satisfied with, but certainly nothing game-changing, and in general I just wanted more. ☺️

A couple random fangirlish notes for the echo chamber:

I love, LOVE Mustang, and I want him protected! (A *BIG* Mustang-Hawkeye shipper has been born.)

Alphonse is an ANGEL!!!!

Even though my skin crawled every time Bradley was onscreen, I *loved* watching him fight. The animators were so smart to give his battles extra care; the fluidity of his movements really made you feel his immense skill with the swords.

I remember back in the early 2000s, so original FMA days, everybody and their mother were talking about Lust and Envy. And they’re great characters of course, but why did I never hear about the other Homunculi? They’re all so fascinating, particularly Pride and Greed; I guess they’re not as marketable? And I’m SO intrigued by Sloth, idec.

Izumi and Sig, AND Alex, are precious.

Good morning. Still basking in last night’s episode. I have a tremendous amount of agreement with you on the Fangirlish reviews. One thing I’m not clear on is when they talk about Voight lying to Kim and being the cause of the trauma. Maybe initially when she didn’t know, but now?

I know that Voight, Hailey, and Jay did conceal what happened to Roy, but even though they didn’t show it, Kim has to know that Roy’s dead and not a threat. FBI dweeb (I’m drawing a blank on his name, right now), had to report that Roy’s body was found, even though he concealed part of it, by saying a rival killed him.

Am I off base on this? It’s been bothering me a bit, but I can understand it because they could’ve followed up with a scene of someone telling Kim that he’s dead. But I don’t think Voight continued to contribute to her trauma.

Glad to see you back!

Oh I’m gonna go on a ramble and I have no shame. Because Voight completely thinks of Kim as his daughter, and it’s been shown time and time again since season seven. And just because something isn’t shown on screen doesn’t mean Kim doesn’t know.

She’s in therapy. I guarantee if Walton was still out there - or Kim thought he was - it’d have been brought up. It’s too juicy a topic not to being up. She knows he’s dead. Should the show have shown us that? Yeah but last season was Eid plotted so…

But back to my Voight and Kim thing. In 7x11 he hugs her and grins when she tells him she’s pregnant. We’ve never seen Hank Voight do that. Ever. Not even with the woman he raised since she was fifteen. The look on his face outside the hospital room? The way he let her work on the case in 7x13 even though she shouldn’t have? Tell me he doesn’t adore her. Try it.

All through season 8 he’s checking in on her about Makayla. When she’s abducted it’s the “or her daughter” that makes him decide to kill Walton. Watch his face closely in that scene. Walton’s getting beaten, but it’s not until Makayla is threatened that Voight goes feral. There’s a meta I wrote that’s linked in my masterlist about this.

And then season 9 and checking on her in 9x02. Telling her in 9x14 that he wouldn’t bet against her. In 9x15 he’s the only one who knows what Adam and Kim are going through and tries to guide them.

And then last night. If you think for a second that that man was going to pull Kim you’re wrong. If you think that was anything other than a man who is watching her claw back from the brink, and is so proud of her? You’re wrong.

It’s a man who has watched his pseudo daughter battle demons that he can’t imagine, seeing her beat them. It’s a man who can’t tell her how proud of her he is. But he’s showing it in every way he looks at her.

I’ll never say Voight is a good guy. But he truly loves Kim Burgess like a daughter, and if you don’t see that then you are will fully just looking at him to hate him.

i really have zero fangirl tendencies in front of the ppl i'm a fan of. i'm just like, that is just Some Person who makes cool things i like.

literally my sister and i were at a release party in nyc yesterday for nat and alex wolff's new album and it was a tiny ass bar, we were right there in front of them, and then after they were just hanging out outside and signing stuff and taking photos and some people were sooo fangirlish and over the top and well, we didn't get pics and only got one of two signatures bc we are just not gonna be obnoxious and demand photos or like pester them for attention lol like it was cool to just like, be there. and see them in person. but like, they are literally just some guys. it's my mentality for all 'celebs', they're just people who a lot of other people know about

A few words about musicals & things.

I’ve been on this blue hellsite since the dawn of time.

That time has taught me many things – one of them being that it’s an extremely small world out there when it comes to Nordic musical theatre, and some of the people involved seem to browse Tumblr sometimes. So, as the years have rolled by, I have tried to reign in my most fangirlish and otherwise unhinged Nordic musical fandom posting somewhat. Gotta pretend that you’re at most 85% obsessed with that stuff, and also a functional adult in general, you know.

That being said, I just wanted to make a fangirly post about missing my tall Swedish musical theatre fav, and about how the only thing casting a shadow on my upcoming Swedish musical happiness is that I still don’t know what, if anything, he’s up to this autumn. I gotta find out. And also, I keep thinking about his little Don’t Rain on My Parade reprise snippet thingie in Funny Girl and thinking he needs to do the whole song in a concert one day or something, because it was good.

I think I gotta try to sleep now instead of entering 100% obsessed overdrive mode or anything like that. Not like I would even be prone to silly things like that, of course... but anyways!

Hey anon! I’m assuming you’re the same person from earlier so thanks for coming back to chat again! And thank you so much for finding and sending the articles because I haven’t seen these, (or really ever thought to look)!

For the convenience of anyone reading here’s the link to the fangirlish article & the link to the autostraddle article.

Both of these do a great job of outlining basically all of my thoughts. But the Fangirlish one sticks out to me the most because of the way they have a numbered list going within it. This first point is the one that sticks out to me most because there’s honestly no way the writers didn’t know what their portrayal of the relationship looked like—especially considering they had at least one queer person in the writers room.

The autostraddle article makes some good points as well but there’s one line that really sums up the whole thing for me:

“This felt like a 2006 lesbian storyline, not a 2023 lesbian storyline.”

Because it does feel like a huge reversal in the quality of sapphic storylines we’ve seen develop over the years.

In terms of the writers seeing either of the articles? Again it’s always a possibility, but I feel like Fangirlish and Autostraddle are two smaller outlets so there’s no way of knowing for sure.

I did a quick search on the Ted Lasso subreddit and I wasn’t able to find any mention of the articles there, but there were plenty of posts talking negatively about Keeley and Jack (both constructively and otherwise)

That all being said, I went ahead and made a post of my own on the subreddit, linking the Fangirlish article. That way we can both sit back and see what people from the GA say. If it’s homophobia, alright whatever. If it’s actual constructive comments and discussions, then great! Chances are we’ll get no interaction at all, but that’s the gamble you take anytime you post anywhere. Either way you’ll have your answer, anon.

BTS In Order - April

I've looked for timelines of the bts before, but what I've found relies heavily on video clips, many of which I don't have access to. So I decided to make a text-focused timeline in English for the bts because I'm all up in my hyperfocus.

I mainly used this playlist on billibilli, though I also looked at a few other playlists (I didn't keep links, I suck). If I came across a video/reference w another date listed for the clip, I added the alternate date in parenthesis at the end. I chose to primarily follow this playlist bc it has a LOT of clips, has clips for every day, and doesn't have anything that immediately jumps out at me as wrong. I also cross-referenced with accio-victuuri's BJYX Timeline bc it's the most complete English timeline I've seen, and I respect the effort involved. And I ultimately I triple-checked against this weibo timeline. Again, alternate dates noted in parenthesis. Not all sources always agreed.

(the note on the primary playlist has this as its explanation of its dating: 广告以官宣日期为整体依据,若跨年度拍摄,则以最新发布日期为依据整理。Which Google translates to "The advertisement is based on the official announcement date as a whole and, if shot across the year, on the latest release date." I can't parse that so *shrug*)

I've listed out the bts scenes by date. I try to describe the known scenes, though I don't list out in detail EVERYTHING that happens (if I say "Xuanwu cave, bondage conversation", I assume you all know everything else that happens around that moment)(Though sometimes I get hype and fangirlish in the descriptions). A lot of scenes were unknown to me, so I tried to describe the setting, costumes, and vaguely what's happening. Most of the scenes I did recognize had more to the clip than the ones I've seen translated.

As none of what I watched had translations, I can't provide much context with that, I'm afraid. I also do not think these are in order within a day. I don't have any way to tell, so the timeline within the day, itself, is probably wonky.

I only included bts for the most part, not stuff the boys were doing outside the production. Everything's color coded. Scenes with only gg are in red. Scenes with only dd are in green. Scenes with both are orange (yellow just isn't readable, sorry). (If there's text with no color, just assume it's the same as the last colored text)

I wrote this literally by going back and forth between billibilli and Google Keep, so the notes are a little off the cuff. Let me know if you have questions or if you don't understand something. Or if you can't identify a particular bts scene you're curious about.

People are also completely free to take this and flesh it out if they want by adding the non-bts stuff. Any mistakes are mine. People are free to correct it as well. Basically, consider this public property for other turtles. So take it, make it your own, create a comprehensive google sheet that details everything in pretty color-coded order with media links that are cross-referenced, filterable, and sortable or whatever (PLEASE SOMEBODY DO THIS).

No need to credit. If you feel you have to, just say a stoopid turtle did it.

4.9-4.13 gg only - some group get together. The casting director is speaking to the group. this is where the clip of gg crying comes from. I don't see DD there. - Also boot camp stuff! 4.11.18 ggdd - table read (alt 4.5)

4.16.18 ggdd - opening ceremony (alt 4.6) - Dd only stuff at cloud recesses with lhk and uncle - Gg only stuff at burial mounds with yb and wq

Gg falls into DD's arms (wq shows her needles) - As a note, gg already doing the in and out sword thing as a kinda fidget while going over lines on his own - DD yells about needing to take a shit from off camera. GG looks directly at camera

4.18 ggdd - burial mounds outside scene. In forest. A-yuan hugging DD's leg and rocking him around. - While gg is reheasing, DD asks "Why are you being so fierce to me?" and apparently uses a cutesy way of saying 'me'. - GG and DD talk about Produce 101 - Also clip where gg is holding small white fan and yelling out in an exaggerated fashion while giggling - Night, DD looking at lhk's phone over his shoulder

4.18 gg only. Wwx in black getting ready to leave cloud recesses (jyl and jc in white)

4.19 ggdd at cloud recesses. Chatting while gg holds white fan - gg only - Jian trio with JC and GG running around JYL. GG and JC stare directly at camera. GG says "It's like looking in a mirror." - GG and DD talk about the difficulty of portraying LWJ across the timeskip.

4.20 ggdd - masked gg w lil apple. Confrontation with jc. Dd also there. Lots of sunscreen spraying (or bug spray?)

4.21 Gg only. Across table from lhk

4.22 gg only. In yi city w jin ling and other juniors.

4.23 Gg only. Gg talking to camera while holding white fan. He's drinking from a can

4.24 gg only. burial mounds. All villagers with him. - Gg only. Near river with mask - Gg only. Eating off-set with jc and wq.

4.25 gg playing flute while looking intense. Two handheld fans blowing on him (can't see who's holding them) - Ggdd - more cloud recess lectures. Both of them talking to Uncle and lhk - Gg takes a look at DD's Jade pendant.

4.26 ggdd. Also jl. Everybody in cloud recess robes. Director sits in front of them and talks. - ggdd sit on either side of director running lines and talking about the scene

4.27 gg only. When jyl and jc. Cloud recess dress. Eating soup. 4.28 DD only. Wire work. During wen attack on cloud recesses. - gg only. Burial mounds with wq and a-yuan

4.29 ggdd under tent, watching playback, then standing with head together but each on their own phone - First black fan appearance!!!! - ggdd running lines outside mianmian's house. Each has person holding umbrella over them. - ggdd outside, DD blue robes, with jl. I think they're filming the scene where they spot the dire owl -DD and jl play slap hands while gg gets bored (alt 5.10) - ggdd. In open area with a line of parked cars in bg. Dd does that thing where he gathers up the back of the wig and his blue hair shows underneath. - ggdd filming the binding scene. Ggdd swordfight. Gg jump real high - cut line where wwx suggests calling the binding "bing di", which apparently relates to a married couple - ggdd. Gg rides lil apple while DD leads. Husband wife scene. Gg new fan. Light blue. - GG and dd (and later JL) commiserate about insects flying in their eyes - Apparently a famous scene of DD staring at gg and DD's assistant noticing - ggdd DD is doing the sword in and out thing while walking. Gg walks up from behind, grabs the sword, does it a couple times himself. 4.30 gg only. Yi City. With juniors and a-qing - DD only. With lhk. Lhk show DD how to play guqi

Fangirlish review doesn’t seem very hopeful to me. Idk what to do. I’m losing faith in this whole thing.

I had a feeling I was going to hear from someone very soon about this review. (If you want to read it, here is the link.)

This is going to be a little long winded, so I am sorry if that is the kind of answer you weren't expecting, but it's the one you are going to get. I am also not here to tell you how you should feel or what feelings are right in this.

Personally, I am all over the map with this. I have a lot of thoughts and feelings surrounding this article and the choice of words. I do have respect for the way Fangirlish does their reviews, but it’s still coming before the episode, not post episode. I’m not sure what other reviews we’ll see before the episode airs next week, BUT… they send out these screeners for a reason. Whether it’s a critic, journalist, or just a fan blog, they still pick and chose who they send these to and have articles written, etc.

It is always important to take any review/spoiler/interview with a grain of salt. The purpose of all of those things is to create interest, drama, and talk around the episode. It creates a stir to bring in viewership.

One thing I took from the article is that it is case driven, not character driven. With that being the case, it sounds like they don't divulge too much into the personal lives of the characters in this episode. What I will say is that from both a storytelling aspect AND a press aspect, the subject of his exit really isn't being addressed or talked about. It seems like they are trying to avoid the topic more than they are talking about it. Now, the whole "crumbs" line can be taken a hundred different ways. The way that I personally see it is that ever since they got married back in 9A, all we have gotten is crumbs. And since he's been gone... All we have gotten are crumbs. If it's a case driven episode, I take that more along the lines that we'll get a line or two again about how she's not been able to talk to him and she misses him. (Or something similar). This parallels more to the aspect of them just trying to avoid the topic rather than talk about it - whether it is in the storytelling or getting press from TS /JLS.

We've been living on crumbs for a year. They got married and then that was more or less the last of it. What I will say, and what I have said about his exit since it happened, is that it's a short temporary fix. From the 8 months, to it being a contract job, they were never going to be able to just let that be the last of the storyline. Wether it is an onscreen thing where we do see how it is resolved, or if it is something that happens more off of our screens... They really cannot keep Hailey in this limbo forever. They will have to go back and address it and give us a more permanent solution eventually.

I have never, nor will be team divorce/death/separation. None of that would make sense to the characters or their relationship. So, I'm not even going to entertain those ideas, because while I will admit this is the first time I am starting to be disappointed in Gwen and the writers room... I don't see them going down that road. Whether or not he is off the show or on it, I do think that they know and understand the power that Upstead has on viewers.

I would just try to avoid any more spoilers/interviews/press around this episode until it airs and you can formulate your own opinion on it.
