I have finally completed my updated map for my homebrew DnD campaign! We’ve been playing in this world for over a year and I’m excited to see where the party will end up next! 🗺️⚔️ The party are currently in the swamp city of Idlebor and are soon planning an expedition to Wilds Edge and beyond the boundary of the Ivorian empire!

its been SO LONG since i last finished one of these wow
THIS was a fun experience fjdksdjks .... it was the beginning of the "eejit runs around Faron noting where the ruins actually are" saga and honestly that was pretty fun, to be continued in the Faron tower region because BOY that one's giving me a headache :L
in addition !! there is also another version now because i hate myself i had fun messing with a sort of pseudo-hylian font inspired by the wonderful Studson Studios sign in his junk miniature build of a BotW stable !! guys content is so impressive and funny to boot 👌👌
i have a feeling that the ghostly hint of Farosh will be absent from the eventual composite map but i felt bad not adding them in here as tribute for the amount of time i spent cheesing the poor fucker for parts here <.<
more content like this, LoZ or otherwise, at friththetraveller 💙

Greetings folks! The Kraken attack. Every sailor's worst nightmare. Some captains are even afraid of saying this monster's name as it brings terrible luck.
Get this map on our Patreon!
"Kraken Attack" is a map of December's Theme Ships. During December, our patrons will receive access to various ship related maps. With this month's set of maps, you'll be able to sail into any campaign!
Adventure hooks:
The Kraken attacks your ship. Perfect. Exactly like planned. Now, all you need to do is cut a piece of its tentacles and sell it on the black market for a lifetime amount of coin. Oh, and also, you need to survive the attack.
You have been sailing for days and days. Everything seems to merge into one big blue mass. You haven’t seen the solid ground in a while. One night, rambling wakes you up. Giant tentacles of the Kraken are hugging your ship tightly. You either need to fight or try to escape, not knowing where the next island is.
You bought this ship exceptionally cheaply. It seems suspicious, but you decided to ignore it. Turns out every time you sail into the sea, a Kraken attacks your ship. And every time you survive the attack, the ship goes back to the docks in perfect shape.

The collection of dungeon maps I’ve done so far this year. All of them in the last month or two. I like the look of the stippling but it is so time consuming.

13.03.21 | Maps of Halamshiral's Winter Palace for the Wicked Eyes & Wicked Hearts quest because I am a masochist.
The map of the Servants' Quarters looks comparatively empty and plain next to the others but at least it no longer looks like the in-game one, which resembles something raised off the seabed.

Greetings folks! Twisted River is famous for its twists and turns. The water streams change drastically, so no place in the river is safe to cross by foot. Once upon a time, it was a popular trade route, but a colossal warship blocked it after the Great War. Despite the enormous financial losses, no one removed the wreck just yet. There must be a reason why the ship still stands still. Will you find out what secrets it holds?
This week's map is "Twisted River". The map will be a great place to settle up a camp or for riverside skirmishes. A river provides interesting opportunities during combat, and smaller boats may be helpful for both escaping and chasing.
Grab boat oars, swim across the Twisted River, and explore the Abandoned Ship!
Adventure hooks:
A large, abandoned warship is blocking a major trade route. A local ruler offers an incredibly generous reward for getting rid of it. That raises your suspicions; removing the ship is indeed not easy, but the amount of coins he is offering is abnormal. He says it's an easy but tedious job. The boat seems abandoned, so you decide to take a look at what's hiding inside. Everything seems calm at first, but suddenly you find yourself surrounded by Lizardfloks. Ruler centrality forgot to tell you about this part of the quest…
You have been preparing all year to participate in the Grand Race of Ships. Unfortunately, your ship was destroyed during the battle with the Kraken. There is an abandoned ship by the Twisted River that you could "borrow." This time of the year isn't the best to travel through nearby woods. Something about the moon, magical rituals, and stuff like that; whatever. You don't want a whole year of preparation to go to waste, so you decided to take the ship no matter what.
As you travel along the river, you notice a letter in a bottle floating downstream. At first, you decide to ignore it, but involuntarily it arouses your curiosity. What could be hidden in that bottle? A treasure map? A love letter? If you want to discover this secret, you must hurry up. The bottle floats away faster and faster with every turn of the river.
"Twisted River" [33x62] has 8 map variants (plus grid, no-grid, JPG, PNG and PDF versions) and 4 assets (ready for Roll20, Foundry or your favorite VTT platform).
This map will also be available in a dynamic lighting version prepared especially for Foundry VTT for Patrons with tiers $10 and $20!

07.01.2022 | Map of New Serene.
Less of a "here's exactly how it is" version and more of a polished up, less-ramshackle, maybe post-canon version of the town.
As with my map of DA2's Kirkwall, New Serene has a great many buildings almost none of which can be entered by De Sardet; so what they are and theire exact dimensions is left to the imagination.
In several places, I included things and spaces that ought to exist but we never see them. Whatever is behind the Governer's palace, for example. Here I've included a garden and some yard spaces that are hinted at in the in-game map, as staff buildings, stables and such.
afaik the river in-game is not given a name, so I've simply omitted one.
I also left out several NPCs, whose locations can be worked out from the name of the building they're in. I haven't marked Constantin on the map but you know where he is because of the building marked 'Governer's Palace'. Similarly, with Admiral Cabral there's no need to mark her place when her office is there already.
I really really like coffee as a paint medium.

When books take place in alternate worlds are they on planets? Are their worlds round like earth or different shaped? Do they have an edge and they could fall off? Are there other lands except on the map we are given? Is their world flat? Do they call their soil earth if they’re not on the earth? Are they on earth? Cause I think about this a lot
