Currently experiencing extreme amounts of feelings for Minecraft's legendary Far Lands.
Like.
You wake up in a strange land. It seems infinite, as does its possibilities. It seems to stretch on forever.
The sky is blue and clear, an ocean breeze comforts you as you sit beneath an oak tree near the shore.
You feel free.
But somewhere, an unfathomable distance away, the laws that govern your reality start breaking, and a truly MASSIVE wall sits at your world's very edges.
Waiting. For you.
This wall accounts for 95% of the mass of your entire world. It is peppered with holes like swiss cheese, has no collision, and yet you cannot enter or scale it. This wall surrounds the world you call home entirely. The shadow it casts will be rendered in long before the fog reveals it. No matter how big your cage seems, you are still trapped, and not even the underworld or the otherworldly void are safe from its influence.
There’s a guy out there that’s made his goal to reach these legendary Far Lands, on foot, entirely without aid, for charity. He set out in 2011.
He is still going.

Tumblr is going to become far worse over the next couple years leaning further into targeted ads, gathering user information, and generally no longer doing the Only Things This Site Does Right, and I would like to firmly predict that all of the blame will be put on the influx of twitter refugees, instead of the plain truth that tumblr has been shifting its goals for a long time now (banner ads, leaning into and owning the "hellsite" reputation, selling merch of old tumblr memes, experimenting with ads that cover a quarter of your screen while you scroll (although those are thankfully gone now)).
The tumblr staff have shown they finally understand their community, and as the website's reputation heals, shareholders and suits are going to push for more and more money to be squeezed out of this place. This path was set in motion long ago, and I'm going to be real grumpy when the blame all gets pushed aside to just point fingers at the twitter people.

I love how you draw Grim the size of a small cat. It genuinely blows my mind that according to the game he's actually approximately 70 cm tall... Like, Ortho is 148 cm. That's only two Grims! If Grim stands on Ortho's head, they'd be just a bit taller than Malleus (who is 202 cm and I'm not sure that's counting the horns)! The proportions are just so wild to try to imagine realistically... (and I do like the small cat Grim take more, it's very endearing)
every time I remember Grim is actually supposed to be the size of, like, a medium-to-largeish dog, and then I just...draw him cat-sized anyway. I also think it's cuter that way! 🤷 (let's just say he's not allowed to ride the servant unless he takes the shrinking potion first.)
ultimately I figure we all get a little artistic license in our fanart, and mine are:
cat-sized Grim
Lilia with hair spikes up to the heavens

" Is it alright to cling to you?
To invent meaning where it is absent?
I fear my words won’t grow up with me,
still scuffing their knees on cement.
I can welcome a lie when it's blinding,
But I can’t write like a poet while blinking.
I can’t draw like an artist without hiding.
I can’t live right now without thinking. "
-words, by me.

so, its pretty rough and by far not complete but this is a rough layout for the map of destiny (my zelda fancomic), i mainly took it after skyward sword but added parts of botw into it (like lanayru street, the twin mountains that were one mountain until ch3, the gerudo highlands, akkala ref; among more general map overlap)
this ones with some super rough chapter markers and some descriptions, the circle doesnt mean the chapter doesnt go to multiple places but the main happening of it is there, its again, pretty rough and lacks the correct order yet too, ill prob add that with time as i write out the scripts for the next chapters, so far i got the order until chapter 6 (chapter 4 is mostly at hylias temple and since there are alot of chapters happening there its not marked seperately)
chapter 1: demon (complete)
chapter 2: a dance of ice and fire (script done)
chapter 3: moving mountains (name not final)
chapter 4: starry night
chapter 5: a wound for a wound (placeholder name)
chapter 6: curiosity (possibly placeholder name, forgot to mark it on the map even tho i know where it goes)
most other chapters i know where and whats happening but i cant remember the exact order, i gotta make a structured chapter chart soon so i dont have to think over everything every single time i need the order
this is probably not very interesting but, even tho it is just a rough layout more for myself than anything else, i thought id share anyway, i know my handwriting when i write fast and tired is hard to read but uh .. feel free to send me an ask about it if theres anything youd like to know (do mention if you are ok with spoilers for the story)
