My pronouns are she/her and i'm queer (still trying to figure the whole sexuality bit out).

I'm 5'4" ish so I wear a lot of platform mary-janes but still have a preference for my beat up white adidas. I have long brown hair with curtain bangs, and it's kind of in between curly and wavy. I have green eyes and have to wear glasses for long distance stuff or my computer. I can usually get really tan due to my latino heritage but I currently live in an extremely rainy country that has made me insanely pale. I also have freckles over the bridge of my nose and a kind of round face.

I love reading, writing, painting, watching movies/tv shows, editing and hiking.

I'm technically an extrovert but by nature I'm more of an ambivert, so I can get along with huge groups of people or just spend days on end watching movies alone in my house.

Generally my favorite genres of anything are sci-fi, horror, anything period piece but not with a huge amount of romance and crime/procedural.

My favorite music really depends on my mood at that moment: soundtrack, punk, 80s hits and kind of ethereal music are some of my top genres. Currently my favorite artists consist of FINNEAS, Weyes Blood, Ethel Cain, Kate Bush, Hole, The Police and Men I Trust.

My dream careers are either psychologist, something in business (but definitely not finance) or film (director or producer preferably).

I have a guilty pleasure of watching and reading anything business related any time I get bored. (hence the succession obsession)

My fashion sense kind of consists of suit trousers, button-downs (oversized preferably), long leather jackets, anything black lace or silk, platform shoes, flowy dresses and vintage stuff.

Aesthetic wise I really don't like to pin it down to just one thing but recently I've very much been into kind of grunge with a side of preppy. Some of my fav motifs (??) atm are runway clothes, red, orchids and film photos.

ok i need to rant the mingyu fit is personally not my fav like i understand what they were trying to do but its sooo underwhelming it looked good on the model but with a face card like his its not that good plus with the untucked shirt it doesnt look that good with his body type and the pattern of the shirt makes it look more crumpled from far off the only thing saving the fit was his face and that is not a good look from the stylists part -✨

LIKE I LIKED THE LOOK the way it was styled on the runway.... Mind you, the model was a different build than Mingyu, which is why the clothes didn't fall the same way. Also, they styled it with different shoes. They could have totally gone full loafer with socks BUT I know they were trying to show another variant of styling (almost like Resort wear) That or they didn't have a press size of the shoe for him.

For his outfit, I think the PR team tried to put all aspects of the SS24 ... which is the loose suite silhouette with their main collection story: tweed. I'm 80% sure they couldn't get him in the tweed tops bc of how wide his frame is so they chose something that he can fit all while incorporating the texture... which unfortunately had to be with the shoes.

I'm honestly just glad they didn't put him in any of their neon looks or the styled looks with the beanies, I would have revolted.

Dior also has never been one to do well in menswear, they tend to play it safe when it comes to their mens lines mostly because their brand identity is clean cut luxury. Their womenswear slays but yeah no their mens are mostly a miss .... Think of their vibe as CEO husband with a hot fashion wife. Unless it's a streetwear collab (like their Nike shoe) it's never exciting.

ALSO loaned clothes for press purposes/celebs are usually limited to sizing and unless he's planning to keep (which I highly doubt) they won't make any alterations to the clothes.

Like I said before, Fashion Week isn't like the MET GALA so they usually stick to previous collections and don't pull from ARCHIVES or make customs... bc well... he's only wearing it for two hours or so.

GETOU SUGURU -> structure? who is she?

getou is a comfy king and doesn’t wanna have his movement restricted by structured garments! hell no! when he’s not murdering the general population, he’s most likely chillin in layer upon layer of long, flowing pieces that just accentuate his tall figure and make him look even more dominating tbh. since he usually dresses in all black, his looks consist of a variety of different materials/finishes just to create some surface interest because there’s not much happening in terms of colors. adds jewel tones (purples, greens, and reds) or a patterned piece to contrast the sea of darkness that is his outfit from time to time. necklaces are his go to accessories when he wants to be extra and they make him look real pretty n soft. his boots may seem simple but they’re still made for stomping. don't underestimate him since he could take a mf out without even taking a step.

GOJOU SATORU -> yes he’s actually older than nanami is!

is that a high school student? no! that’s gojou satoru! his style is youthful and somewhat playful because he wants to be hip really doesn’t take a lot of things that seriously and likes to mix up his wardrobe. while he often sticks to neutral color palettes, he does enjoy dressing up in cute pastel looks to brighten his day a bit more and make himself look like even more of a dream. another king who enjoys unrestricted movement with relaxed fits made of comfortable materials! is naturally attracted to shiny things so it’s no surprise he enjoys decking those pretty fingers of his out in rings whenever he has the chance (plus he likes the sound they make against anything he holds). completes his look with a fresh pair of sneakers that won't slow him down if he suddenly has to kick a special grade’s ass. but we all know that's no biggie for him anyway.

CHŌSŌ -> a techwear king

from a distance, chōsō may just look like a man who’s trying really hard to be cozy beneath all his layers. and that’s partially true! however, he piles clothes on with intent! although he’s a no frills kinda guy, he finds comfort in all the features of techwear because every one of them is ✨functional✨ you’ll never have to worry about carrying a bag again with the pocket palooza happening on his body! but seriously, the man knows how to pull off baggy clothes, that’s for sure, and he does it with the help of industrial belts or straps that make his waist look snatched and his legs look hot. since he has an affinity for the nighttime, he enjoys blending in with blacks or grays, but he’s not opposed to throwing a shock of white, yellow, red, or electric blue into his looks with an accessory or by incorporating it into one of his many layers. and, of course, he finishes off every outfit with a pair of platform combat boots since he’s always ready to throw down and wants to look good while doing it (like he has to try pfft).

if there’s one thing nanami knows, it’s how to WORK a business look, even after hours! once he’s clocked out though, he tends to favor more relaxed silhouettes and materials, swapping his heavily structured suits for garments with just a tad more ease and drape. because of his serious and to the point personality, it often comes as a surprise that he takes his looks just as seriously and is always keen to find ways he can elevate them (which explains his luxury belt collection that he subtly flexes on everyone). he prefers warm, neutral tones such as browns, grays, and navy but isn’t opposed to adding a dash of pastels or even silky, peachy hues to complement his skin tone. dress boots are the way to go for him since they’re classy but also demand attention with the way he wears em. every time the group hangs out after work, he always gets complimented on his fits (as he should), and often has pictures taken of him by fashion photographers on the street since he looks runway ready at all times.

Xion’s favorite is Say Yes to the Dress by far. There’s no contest. She likes being in awe at the prices of the wedding gowns and seeing how beautiful the gowns are, and she and Marluxia will absolutely bond over watching the bitchy bridezillas complain.

Roxas sometimes watches it with her, if only because he likes seeing Xion so in awe of the dresses. However, one of his favorites is probably The Masked Singer! He really enjoys trying to see if he can guess who the singers are - and he’s usually correct! It’s one of hi smany secret, useless talents.

Marluxia is a reality television queen. He doesn’t really have a favorite, but if he had to pick, it would definitely have to be America’s Next Top Model. Tyra Banks is always and forever a goddess among unworthy men to Marluxia.

Larxene often spends time watching reality TV with Marluxia when she doesn’t have anything else to do, but her favorite is the absolute drama that comes from Big Brother. She likes the challenges, the backstabbing and betrayal, and she also has a huge crush on Julie Chen.

Xaldin and Xemnas used to both watch Fear Factor back in the day and were disappointed when it ended. If Xaldin had to pick another show,  it would probably be The Bachelor, but not for the whole romance aspect of it. He likes watching them pretend to be in love with each other, likes rating the fake crying on a scale of 1 to 10, and basically enjoys watching them all make fools out of themselves for some trash dude who isn’t that cute anyway - it’s very cathartic for him.

Xemnas, on the other hand, became fascinated with Kitchen Nightmares, if only because he likes seeing asshole restaurant owners being put in their place.

Luxord has seen every episode of The Great British Bake Off. He can’t bake for shit but you can guarantee he’s judging literally every person on the show for every decision they make. He also religiously watches survivor and gets unreasonably angry when his favorite participants are voted off.

Axel’s guilty pleasure is Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and for god’s sake he has no idea why. He thinks it’s kind of like a train wreck, but he can’t stop watching no matter how bad it gets. He blames Marluxia for getting him into the show.

Xigbar isn’t much of a fan - he likes thrillers and murder mysteries, not reality TV. However, you can often find him binging episodes of Hoarders or My Strange Addiction when he’s bored.

Demyx swears by and far that The Simple Life was one of the best reality TV shows to ever be created. It’s funny, full of drama, and he thinks Paris Hilton is seriously underrated.

Lexaeus wishes they would make more episodes of Tidying up with Marie Kondo because he claims that it changed his life. He’s also gotten several of the other organization members into the show 

Saix might put Shark Tank on the television in his office if he’s working. He thinks it’s something nice and mindless that he can have in the background while he does paperwork.

Vexen and Zexion are both fans of My Strange Addiction because they find the show fascinating, but they tend to not watch TV much.

Zexion does have a soft spot for Ru Paul’s Drag Race and Vexen enjoys the intricacies that go into the designs on Project Runway.

Balenciaga Fall 21 Couture Collection

After 53 long years, Balenciaga makes its triumphant return to Couture. Demna Gvasalia, Balenciaga’s current creative director, followed behind the iconic Cristobal Balenciaga’s take on extravagant shapes, and silhouettes while bringing renditions of 21st century’s couture.

Balenciaga’s 50th Couture show took place in Paris with some of our favs sitting front row: Kanye West — in a questionable mask covering his entire face, Bella Hadid, and Lil Baby. It opened with strictly black looks followed by hints of neon, leather, and and sequence.

Gvasalia did an exceptional job paying homage to the fashion house’s traditional aesthetic with an overwhelming emphasis on textures, shapes, silhouettes and overall opulence. The collection included men’s looks for the first time, and model’s of all ages, sizes, and ranges of beauty; featuring massive floor sweeping overcoats, a feathered jacket, and various waist-nipped jackets and dresses accessorized with mushroom like black hats by Philip Treacy.

This is what you call a comeback. After watching the show, Balenciaga will have you fantasizing luxurious outings to wear these show stopping garments. The show gave us a break from the oversized hoodie and sneakers combo taking over the runways. This was real fashion, real couture. Bravo Balenciaga!

Ok so I’m here to vent, around 2013-14 I decided that I wanted to read my first manga since my sister kept talking about her fav author Nicky Lee and since I was younger I always saw these beautiful gorggg men, so I was interested.

The first manhua I ever read was “Youth Gone Wild” Nicky Lee’s second manhua, a lil synopsis, the story’s about a girl who loves rock and wants to create a rock band, so it’s about music (I’m a sucker for music themed manga/anime) and since I loved rock so much I was soooo drawn to it, and the 90’s fashion is sooo good😍😍 and not to be biased or anything but Nicky’s drawings are *chef’s kiss*

The second manhua I read was her next work “The One” UGH THIS ONE OMG WAS MORE ANGSTY HENCE IT’S A LIL BIT BETTER, but youth gone wild will always have a special place in my heart, it’s about a girl who dreams to become a supermodel and she encounters these gorg twins one a model and the other a runway director, listen 10/10

So talking to my sister yesterday she tells me, did u see that Nicky is making a spin-off of Zhi Gao (Youth gone wild’s bassist) AND ITS A FUCKING SHOUNEN AI, NOW ME BEING A SUCKER FOR BL WHAT DO U THINK I DID?! OFC I HAD TO READ IT, but to my disappointment it’s not translated, I cant even find the raws😭 so yeah if by any chance you know something about FEVER or anything related hmu :)

I know these manhuas aren’t mainstream but honestly I highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!
