I love pizza. Chicken wings are a close second but pizza still takes the cake.

Specifically Margherita pizza. If I wanted toppings I’d have the toppings separate, if I wanted pizza (I always do) then i’d have pizza.

sharing time!

what are some cool and healthy facts you know that you feel like sharing?

i'll start with this: im anemic so i need to eat food with iron in it food that contains iron includes:

red meat

kale

spinach

shellfish/fish/clams/oysters (quite a bit of common seafood dishes)

legumes/white beans/soybeans/lentils

liver/offal meat

pumpkin seeds

turkey/poultry

quinoa

eggs

dark chocolate

you can share facts like what foods have a lot of water or sugar in them

i find nutrition talk helps me figure out what to eat because those foods are beneficial or taste good

please only share facts that are encouraging nothing like "such and such foods are high in xyz so they should be avoided"

if you dont have facts you want to share you could instead share positive opinions about food

after all this blog was made for recover and part of recover is rebuilding a positive relationship with food.

One topic I enjoy discussing is my favourite food.

I'd like to share my thoughts on my food preferences.

I absolutely love sushi🍱🍣, it's my all-time favourite dish! The taste, appearance, and aroma are simply delightful. Japanese 🏯cuisine is a particular passion of mine, with its traditional focus on rice, miso soup, and dishes like tofu. I especially enjoy the combination of rice and seafood in sushi, though some say avocado🥑 is also an essential ingredient. Frankly, I'm perfectly content eating sushi on its own - it always puts a smile on my face!🙂

Do you have a favourite food that when you have that you can't stop eating until it finishes? Many years ago, when I saw an avocado I thought it is the most hideous food I have ever seen. After some time someone convinces me to try it. And after that, it is my favourite food.

My favourite food is pizza, but my favourite restaurant is a cheeky Nando’s. Pizza as a whole is better than chicken, but Nando’s does chicken better than pizza restaurants do pizza, y’know?

Can I plant some custard?

Custard. My son loves custard. I would go so far as to say he is addicted to it. He LOVES it. Absolutely loves it. He has a pot of custard every night after getting in from school. He loves it that much I’ve had to put a limit on it. He is allowed only 2 pots of custard a day. And very occasionally he does have 3!!! It has to be Ambrosia Custard though, nothing else.
