Imagining Aurelius (probably going by Credence for not wanting to be attached to such a famous name like Dumbledore) going to Hogwarts or Ilvermorny for the first time.

The oldest witch to attend school, getting his sorting, a more private room in the dormitories and tends to be more alone than with other students due to his age, but is usually approached by curious students.

He calls himself a witch over a wizard since to him, it fits him more for his own reasons.

Relearning spells that aren't dark or destructive is a fun time. He prefers Care for Magical Creatures, Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Transfiguration, and Herbology.

During one of the Magical Creatures lessons, he introduced his phoenix, Fawkes, to the class with the professor's consent. Fawkes was well behaved, and was much healthier than he and Aurelius had been a few years back.

Unfortunately, the owls took some getting used to Fawkes given how large he was compared to most owls when delivering letters.

Severus Snape x Ariana Dumbledore

This is such a rare pairing, but it lives rent free in my mind. I’ve written short fanfiction to make them more real to me. He was so miserable all his live and then he died—and I want him to be happy in the end.

☯️ He’s dark and grumpy, but his secret is the silver doe. She’s light and kind, but her secret is the dark Obscurus.

He loved Lily Evans who was a feisty and very talented witch. Ariana is shy and can’t cast a single spell.

He indirectly caused his former best friend Lily’s death and he had to killed Albus Dumbledore—the only person who truly knew him. She killed her mother. Maybe she could understand his struggle?

Summary: At Hogwarts there's someone Harry barely interacts with—a young choir conductor Ariana Grey. Unbeknownst to him, she's Severus Snape's friend. Their relationship is growing closer, but the war and their pasts prevent them from being together. He survives Nagini's attack and discovers that his colleague is not who he thought she was.

Generally compliant with the books. (The divergence from the canon: Dumbledore uses the Resurrection Stone to see just his parents.)
