Ok but hot take but Bowser dosen't work as a serious villian.

In almost all media he's depicted as a sweet goofy dork who genuine cares for princess peach and would never hurt her. Hell he deeply cares for Mario and Luigi even if he is annoyed with them y'know? Like I thoroughly enjoyed the Mario movie, it's not amazing but a fun romp. But man I really hope that the second movie has him join the main cast against a new villian and tbh it's probably going to be Wario.

The only media where he does work as a really good villian is in early western media like the club Nintendo comics, the dic cartoons and the 1993 Mario movie bc they make him a cruel heartless monster. And honestly that dosent really feel like Bowser.

Bowser is an anti hero who's just a big ole simp for peach. Honestly I hope that future Mario games have Bowser as the 4th main playeble charecter alongside Mario, Luigi and Peach, and just do what Kirby does and introduce a threatening new villian every new game.

Sewers AU - Mental Breakdown

With the Sewers occupied, Fawful’s mind is constantly on the go. He’s always helping with errands, making connections with anyone who can help his conquest, making meals, doing robotics, coming up with new evil plans, and babysitting.

While Fawful complains about being stressed and busy, he prefers that to complete silence and bliss. That is when his mind ruminates over his previous failure in the Beanbean Kingdom, how he’s gonna make it without Cackletta, he’s cut out to be a villain, and if there will be enough money for basic needs like food.

Most of the time, Fawful can take it in stride. But sometimes, it gets to be too much. And it doesn’t help that he has insomnia.

He prefers to climb to the top of Peach’s Castle for complete solitude.

Of course, it was the time that the Adult and Baby Bros were fighting off some Shroobs late at night. And Baby Luigi happened to be in the area.

While Mario and Luigi are both emotionally intelligent, Baby Luigi started off as aware of others emotions while Baby Mario was more action-oriented.

Fawful, meanwhile, calms down a little since he can’t go on a full rant if there’s children nearby. He feels remorseful whenever the babies see this side of him. He’s full of anger, he’s worrying out loud, he wants to rip and tear through anything in his bare hands. Ever since the first meeting with the babies where he lost his mind to fury, he didn’t want to show that ever again.

Of course, sometimes it bleeds through. And Fawful wonders if he’s putting these kids through the same stress he has.

Baby Luigi doesn’t understand what’s happening or why Fawful worries so much. He just knows that Fawful hates the Mario Bros, that he works hard, that he’s stressed, and he cares for the babies.
