... unpopular opinion, I don't see David Gandy as my Ethan. It's so prevalent in the fandom that I'm starting to come around, but generally, I don't think his vibe is right. I see Ethan as a bit more austere and less polished. I am bad at face claims, but I see him more as a Tom Ellis/James McAvoy/Hugh Grant mix (maybe with some Hugh Laurie for the House M.D. vibes).

BUT if I had to pick a Gandy pic, it would be this one.

How did you choose your MC’s FC?

Was it the first pick or did you have someone else in mind?

Does the FC’s personality match your MC’s?

Is it hard to find content?

Is there was no David Gandy (god forbids) who would you choose as your Ethan’s FC?

My search for Tiffany’s face claim took a while and it was an entire journey! The goal was to find someone who resembles my green-eyed pixel doctor and has that special vibe.

Back when I was a fandom lurker, I picked Eliza Cummings, but I wasn’t sold—something just didn’t feel right and there was barely any content to choose from.

Here’s a pic that made me think of T, don’t ask me why it’s still on my phone, I have no clue ksbskbskb

So the search continued! I tried to cast Genelle Seldon, but I immediately abandoned the thought because she’s too influencer to step into Tiffany’s shoes, and I kinda gave up on the face claim contest after that.

Then I stumbled upon Jessica Lowndes on IG…Apart from realizing that she’s the iconic Adrianna Tate-Duncan from 90210, I almost fainted from the excitement because I instantly knew that I FOUND TIFFANY.

This gif sealed the deal, her smile just screams Tiff ❤️

I was looking for a gorgeous, versatile face that can be both menacingly hot and insanely cute, beautiful like a flower, fragile like a bomb—that sort of thing, and I believe that Miss Jessica is a perfect embodiment of my vision (especially in her pre-30 era).

The more I got to know JL, the more I was convinced that she’s the one and only choice:

Jessica and DG have actually met, I was blessed with a photograph of the two being literally E&T

She’s a huge Boston Red Sox fan

She played a doctor once (she wore scrubs for like 2 minutes on screen, but let’s ignore that, I have my screenshots jsvksvskvskv)

She likes Marvel and even owns a Thor t-shirt—T’s fav MCU movie is Thor: Ragnarok

Personality-wise, it’s hard to say since I haven’t been following JL’s career for long enough, but my bet is that they’re fundamentally different. However, they seem to share unlimited positive energy, fierce determination and they’re both successful at multitasking.

Though Jessica’s fashion style differs from Tiffany’s, there’s a wide variety of content and I’m always able to find what I need for edits or manips. In addition, JL & DG look absolutely perfect together, I’m obsessed with them 🥹

You killed me with the last question, dear 😂 Truth be told, I’ve seen a lot of Grumpsey’s alternative face claims, and yet I have never found any other living creature whose vibe would match Ethan’s, so if DG would be off the table, my Ethan would share Bryce’s fate—too good to be represented by an actual human being kshkdhdkhdk

honestly i was struggling with lana’s fc for a WHILE because im super picky with fcs they just have to have that ‘vibe’ if that makes any sense? i think i was considering lucy hale for a bit but it didn’t really feel right plus someone here already had her as an fc so….. and then one day i was watching s2 of elite and i was like HOLD ON A GOD DAMN MINUTE 👀👀👀 and then all the pieces just fell into place <3

i think ester’s personality doesn’t fully match lana’s ester’s super smily & bubbly and outgoing for lana HSJSKS also a lot of their fashion doesn’t really align tbh— but they’ve both definitely got that sultry aura down 😌 as for content it’s honestly pretty decent! sometimes it’s harder to find more ‘mundane’ content because alot of her images are photo shoots and the like but overall i think i’d say im pretty lucky with the content!!

i’d say her as carla from elite is 100% more of lana’s vibe though like THIS bitchy look? yeah.

Picking Willa out for Tatum was almost too good to be true! Many writers will agree that usually picking out the perfect FC takes time and patience, and somehow, I feel so fortunate to have hit the jackpot with this beauty for my OC.

Those who don't know, Tatum was born from a 'Drunken Drabble'... (a silly prompt game we played a few times last year where you're given a prompt to write while you're drinking). The next day, I realized that I was totally digging this girl, and I wanted to write more of her! And here we are, almost a year later.

When I started looking at FCs, I had a general idea what I was looking for (what I think matches Ethan): blonde*; in her late 30s/early40s; beautiful, but not a cookie-cutter model-type; girl boss/tough bitch vibes, but friendly-looking; a modern woman with a slightly modest wardrobe. And FINALLY, does she actually look good with Ethan?

*in my DD, I had already mentioned she was blonde lol

(Eeeee! I'm so glad I saved this! She may kill me ... The friend I mentioned earlier quickly threw this together to see if Gandy and Willa went together, and if I do say so myself... *chef's kiss* I love them...)

She was my first pick, and I became obsessed. From what I can tell, Willa is a little bit different from Tatum, but that's okay! They both give off girl boss energy, and her pictures totally vibe with my idea of Tatum.

Content can be a little tricky. A lot of photos from Willa's younger days are either pixelated or... well, risque (she made it clear: she wanted to be bad... lol). Willa still models some, these days or offers the internet a selfie of her OOTD, but there isn't a huge multitude of usable photos. but I'll make it work,

No David Gandy? Did you just curse at me? 🤣 honestly, I'd probably use Matt Bomer for Rams. I think he's delicious, and he pulls off that intense leader/CEO/prick-look so very well.

I'd love to use Nick Bateman because... duh. Fucking delicious. But, he's a bit to bruh and soft for Rams.
